All I can say is thank goodness for straight talkers and clear instructions. I searched YouTube hoping to find help with my piles which over the past month got so bad, I was in more pain than I could ever remember. I noticed that I had a pile six months ago and didn't really have to do anything as it protruded slightly but there was no pain at all. Sometimes it would get itchy, or feel as though it was leaking (don't ask me with what). It was then I realised that I needed to do some research on it, as in my head it was nothing to worry about and would go when it was ready.
Oh how wrong was I. After the last few months of itchiness and feeling uncomfortable, I ordered some cream from the internet which claimed to soothe and stop itchiness. It didn't really. Oddly it seemed to become more sore and itchy. So I began to use sudo cream and it worked for a while to stop the itchiness and soreness. But for some reason, in the last month it began to flare up. I eat huge amounts of veg and fruit, I juice and now and again have relapses of too much dairy so I assume as I grow older this is having a bad effect on my system and my piles.
I then found a cream from the chemist having spent a week of pure pain, it was obviously getting much worse and felt raw as well as harder to go to the loo without screaming or clutching my fists. I never knew piles would create this much hassle.
I used the cream and it seemed to calm it down, but then after a week, flared up again. I stupidly added sudo cream to the pile cream and int he morning, two days ago, I was in tears. I could no longer sit properly or walk without pain. I was shocked, really shocked at the pain and discomfort. The creams obviously mixed and caused a bad reaction. Left feeling sorry for my self and my bum, I started to look for answers on the internet again. I found videos on youtube that only explained halves, tried to sell you their nonsense so overtime I thought I had found a solution, I hadn't, just another person trying to sell something or home remedies that I really didn't have the ingredients for.
I just can't believe I hadn't given any thought to Apple Viniger Cider. I bought a book on how it heals ailments in many different ways, but totally forgot about it. I came across this website, thank God! I cringed at the thought of putting vinegar on my pile, imagining it to sting like hell, but anything at that time was better than what I was feeling. If I had fresh wheatgrass int he house, I would have used the pulp from that, but didn't so reached for my handy large bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar and tested out what everyone here already seemed to know. Thank you all. I am still not out of the woods having left them so long using crap creams, but it is only day two. I can tell you I am now sitting with no pain, I am still uncomfortable in going to the loo but am using the raise your legs six inches (using my box set of Roald Dahl books) so that it eases any movement. The stinging is still a little bit there, but no screaming or tears. I am pretty convinced that in a week this will be either so much better or gone but will keep you updated.
I have followed what others mentioned here re the application. First beginning with showering (can't bath as I don't have one), adding the Apple Cider Vinegar onto a thick piece of kitchen paper (half) folding and putting it directly onto my bum/pile. It did sting a little at first (well, second and third) but, it does go after about five minutes of the Apple Cider Vinegar being applied. I am on day two now, it's evening and the last two applications I have added water to as I didn't fancy having skin removed from down there. Hasn't happened but I imagine that the Apple Cider Vinegar is pretty potent. It is definitely working. No itchiness, no burning (nothing like it was). I can pass wind without fear of the pain, I hope tomorrow I can have a bowl movement with NO pain rather than some but we shall wait for that. I have to give it time, as I did leave it for a while and not treating itt as I should have.
I did recently before this website spend twenty pounds on more medication for my piles, which I now regret as I won't be using it. I just can't believe I didn't pay more attention to the book I bought on what Apple Cider Vinegar can help treat. But I do thank you all for sharing and for giving a full run down and NOT selling anything from some medicine company at the end of it. I shall keep this updated. :D

After 3 days of swelling and discomfort tried OTC cures for my "roids." Nothing was working and just getting more uncomfortable. Read the posts on here and tried it. First day had some relief, by second day swelling down by half and pain is minimal. So far I've spent $50 on OTC junk. Found the ACV in my pantry because I always stock for Kidney Stones. Why don't I look on this site before running to the pharmacy? Thanks guys. I think a few more days and I'm out of the woods.

I can attest to the fact that ACV will get rid of hemorrhoids. I just dabbed a bit on with a paper towel after my morning shower. Stung a bit. Gone in a week.

I took a small syringe of ACV and washed my hemorroids and then inserted only the tip into my rectum and it did burn for awhile but after 10-15 minutes, wow what a relief finally. After that I took cotton pads soaked in ACV and left them as a compress. I've been doing this now for about 6 hours and geesh what a relief.

Ever since the birth of my daughter two years ago I've been battling hemorrhoids. Once I was unfortunate enough to get one during labor with her it was like they would come on at the smallest provocation. Usually they last a few weeks, while I use witch hazel to try to get rid of them. Well I was 3 days in with one today, and this one was much less bareable than the previous ones I've had. Witch hazel just wasn't cutting it. I got on here and looked to see if ACV would help, because it seems like that stuff helps with everything. Sure enough, I read tons of posts saying that it would help, so I tried it out. 3 hours later and the pain and irritation are mostly gone, and the hemorrhoid has already shrunken considerably! I can hardly believe it. I just applied some ACV to a paper towel and then pressed it up against the hemorrhoid and left it there. It didn't even sting all that much, for which I was very thankful. I would definitely recommend to anyone using ACV for hemorrhoids!

I just want to thank everyone on this site for their feedback on the ACV for hemorrhoids. I am a hemorrhoid sufferer for over 30 years.. I came back hoping I might help some one too.. My hemorrhoid was the size of a small potato a week ago. I was sent for emergency surgery by my doctors which terrified me.. So I start searching the net for any help I could get and I came across this site... I started the remedy rite away after reading a few comments.. Been a week now must say it burn for the first 10-15 mins but it works ppl.. Give ACV a try first before going to surgery.. I apply it with aloe gel mix together because it's too strong for me pure.. You can apply other ointment after too to help with the pain /burning which I did.. Long story short ACV works for hemorrhoids it can save you the horror of surgery and everyday annoying pain in the ass!! For the first time I can sit with out twisting, whining I have been in bed most of the time this passed week.. I drink 2 tbs in a glass of water too.

I've had rather small roids for ages, not really worried about them as they've mostly been painless. Unfortunately, for the past 2 years they started to itch, went to the doctor straight away, got an steroid cream that he recommended me to use *for months* which of course didn't work. Then I tried pretty much everything else similar, nothing worked at all, and the itch became 24x7, very very annoying. Then, the miracle. Got to this page, thought "don't lose anything", tried the Apple Cider Vinegar with cotton buds, burned like hell but after 5-10 minutes peace again. I'm on the 4th day, doing this only in the mornings after the daily shower, and the itch is GONE. Of course the Apple Cider Vinegar burns a bit but it's a completely different thing, very tolerable unlike before. I wholeheartedly recommend this remedy, just make sure it's not bleeding down there, that's it. Take care and hopefully you get better soon too!!

Thanks so much for sharing, this site really helped with a bright red bloody roid. I couldn't believe what I saw when I wiped. The tissue was so red I thought, cancel Christmas! Having no insurance and starting a new job I needed a quick fix.
After reading the threads, I got a paper towel and soaked the end of it and spread the cheeks while s-l-o-w-l-y moving the towel toward the bloody spot. I thought it would be so painful that I would kick a hole in the ceiling, but quite the opposite. It was a mild discomfort mainly from the roid, but I was able to release and let the cheeks hold it in place put on underware and went to bed.
Almost immediate relief, better in the morning. The only blood was at the tip of the paper towel. The size of the hole was about that of an eraser on a number 2 pencil. I have always used the "meta" fiber but I'd miss a day or 3 here and there so I would find myself straining a bit on occasion. But I've been using Apple Cider Vinegar for two days (the same way sleeping through the nite, shower in the morn and no more blood or pain and it is starting to get smaller in size already. I am starting the minced garlic on a spoon with water chase a time or two daily.
I will update... But again thanks sooooo much, I thought it was time to cash in my chips! Who knew something so simple could help and so quick!!!

Hi there - I feel I owe it to the posters & readers of this amazing site to provide feedback. Husband has struggled immensely with itchy bleeding bottom. Tried doctors remedies for years with very little success. This definitely affected his (and my! ) quality of life. Did loads of research on this site last night. Had some Safeway brand apple cider vinegar. He was desperate. Tried the bath, nothing really happend. Gave him a glass with about 2 TBSP ACV to drink, he did that. Then soaked a half a cotton ball in ACV and inserted very gently, not far. Burned quite a bit but he left in. Woke up this morning said it's the best he's felt in a long time. Almost gone. Will continue with interal & external, plus very strong probiotics and green & clean diet. Can't say enough about the quality of this site. Thank-you to all who share specific stories; was immensely helpful.

I'm a 31 year old white male, 135 lbs. , 5'7". I had a hemorrhoid for about 2 years. Tried several creams. Really like wiping with Desitin diaper rash cream (the generic).
I came to this site and saw all the reviews, over a hundred I think, for ACV for hemorrhoids. After reading the reviews, I rushed to the grocery store in the middle of the night, bought some ACV for about $6, and cotton balls and bandaids. I took a bath with about a cup of ACV in it, stayed in it for at least half an hour.
Then I did what I really think cured it...I soaked a cotton ball in ACV, then taped it to my hemorrhoid with a bandaid or two. Then I put boxers on, sat on it and soon went to bed (leaving it on).
The next day, I checked my roid, and I swore it was half the size (it had been the size of a kidney bean for 2 yrs).
I still wasn't sure, but I felt optimistic. It might've been my imagination, but in 2 years you get pretty familiar with the size of your hemorrhoid.
Anyway, I continued, doing it no more than twice a day, maybe 3 times (I doubt it would go away faster if the applications were more frequent.. Maybe I only needed to do it once). So within 3 or 4 days, the hemmorhoid was completely gone. Then I stopped doing the cottonball thing.
That was in April of 2012, and now it's December 2012. So 7 months with no return of the hemorrhoid.
This has honestly changed an entire outlook in my mind. If I suffered for 2 years with no help from conventional medicine, then I find the wisdom in a crowd on the internet, and heal myself in a few days with $6, with vinegar! , what else am I missing!! ??
So after this cure, I sought youtube videos on hemorrhoids, people trying to peddle their hemorrhoid products, and I wrote comments on the videos spreading the word. "All you need is apple cider vinegar, it'll be gone a few days. Don't spend your money! "
I think white vinegar would probably work too. Most people have vinegar already in their house.
To be honest, after this cure, my trust in conventional medicine, in doctors, has taken a nose-dive. How many people suffer from hemorrhoids, go to their doctors, and their clumsy doctors don't even know about this?

I recently read somewhere that putting raw Apple Cider Vinegar on your hemorrhoids is very soothing and helps them to heal quickly. I had a flair up, and nothing I was using was working (and I only use natural items) So, I grabbed a Viva Paper towel (the softest I could find), doused it with a bunch of _____s Apple Cider Vinegar and then went in to apply it after cleaning the area gently.
Wow, it burns some, however, in about 5 minutes I was already feeling relief and I was completely over my hemorrhoids within hours. (and one more additional treatment)
So I can emphatically suggest using Apple Cider Vinegar in this way.

YEA F0R APPLE CIDER VINEGAR FOR HEMORROIDS. I found that using a q tip soaked in Apple Cider Vinegar was much easier for me due to swelling and tightness. I simply used a few soaked q tips to clean area after bowel movements and at bedtime with very slight insertion, half inch at the most, cured mine. I had a lot of bleeding, pain, swelling, etc. And cold not use anything larger than a q tip. It has taken about two weeks, with much improvement in just a few days. For good measure I have done some extra treatments during the day up to three times a day. I avoid coffee that is too strong which causes forced movements.

After 40 years (since I was 12) of suffering with hemorrhoids, I tried the ACV suggested in the remedies section. I saturated a cotton wool ball with half water half ACV, and held it in place about 3 minutes. Remarkable relief! Yes, it stung a bit (mine are stage 4) but no pain near like the problem itself. I've continued this for several days, adding an 'insertion' of liquid vitamin E oil, about 3-4 drops, twice daily, using a finger cot. The results are amazing. I've had about 50% shrinkage in the external pile, something I haven't seen since giving birth 30 years ago. Nothing a doctor has ever given me has provided the relief and shrinking that the ACV and vitamin E have! And no, hemorrhoids aren't always caused by poor diet. I was raised on garden fresh vegetables and home cooked meals. Mine are just plain hereditary! Try the ACV and E oil. Also, I'm using diluted ACV now as a cleanser after visiting the toilet, instead of moist wipes. Hope this helps someone else as much as it has me!

Wow- I just found this site, and within ten minutes of saturating a cotton ball with ACV and applying to the affected area, the itching has subsided, and the pain has lessened to the point where I am no longer squirming in my seat, as I type this, in the usual vain attempt to find a comfortable position. How happy I am to have found this thread! I had forgotten the bit about adding ACV to one's drinking water, and after reading the previous comments, have done just that. I suspect too many dietary sugars and carbohydrates (which I usually eat very sparingly), and too few green leafies, combined with a recent eight-hour air flight, has skewed my system somewhat. I am interested in seeing how well this brings things back to balance. Thanks to all for the input here!
