CONTACTING THE STAFF OF EARTH CLINIC

Please use the Submit Post form on the site to get ahold of us with any urgent matters. Otherwise, you can email us: staff (at) earthclinic (dot) com

USING OUR GENERAL FORM

First Name:
Please use your first name only or a screen name. You can be as creative as you wish here, including the city and state! Last names are not necessary or recommended.

Publishing Your Email Address:
As of mid-October, 2009, email addresses are no longer visible on Earth Clinic unless they have been included inside your post (i.e., inside the questions/comments/feedback box) .

For your own protection -- if you are providing sensitive and private medical information, please do NOT post your full name or an email address containing your full name [janet.t.doe@earthlink.net]!

Finally, if you decide to post your email address on Earth Clinic, please be aware that it will show up on google's search engine within 7 days and you will receive numerous spam emails that may tell you that they found your "profile" on Earth Clinic.

Needless to say, we don't recommend ever posting an email address on any website!

Getting Your Post Approved for Publication on Earth Clinic:
Please note that it can take 1-2 days to review and post your feedback to the web site. Posts that mention products or include urls to sites that sell products may be edited or deleted in entirety.

Only contributors who have been regularly posting to Earth Clinic for the past 2-3 years are allowed to publish product names. However, we do make allowances for hard to find remedies and supplements on occasion.

How Your Post is Handled
EC’s behind the scenes elves handle every submission before it hits the website. They will assign it a rating (YEA, NAY, etc.) and will shuffle it off into the proper pages, attach it to the right ongoing conversations, or start a new topic or even a new page whenever necessary.

Of course, if you ever have any suggestions about where a post belongs or if a new content area is needed, please include that in your submission!

Finding Your Post Once It Has Been Published:
Registered Users can login to their accounts and click the "My Feedback" section to find all of their published posts as well as links to the specific page where their post is now located.

If you can't find your post on the Latest Posts section, try using our Google Search Box. Google updates our new postings about once a week, so it's possible the answer to your question has been posted, but just hasn't shown up in the search results.  Wait a week and search again under your name and city (i.e., Donna from Chicago, Steve from Los Angeles).

Health Question for Ted in Bangkok, Thailand, an independent contributor? You have two choices: you can either send them to Earth Clinic for posting on our site, or you can email your questions directly to Ted: parhatsathid@gmail.com. Ted rarely looks at the Earth Clinic website, so we recommend emailing him.

Note 1: If you do NOT want your question posted on this website, please specify that to Ted in your email to him. Please be aware that Ted copies Earth Clinic on every email he answers. It takes us a few days, but we eventually post your question and his answer on the Earth Clinic site with either your first initial or "anonymous" and never with your city, state, or email address.

Note 2: Please be patient in awaiting a return response from Ted.  His time frame varies depending upon his busy work schedule. He also gets hundreds of questions each week from people finding his info on various websites like curezone.com and cannot personally answer every email.

Note 3: Questions written to Ted -- and his responses -- will appear on the Latest Questions page and in the appropriate Q&A section.

Health Questions for Earth Clinic Readers

If you would like a question posted on Earth Clinic for our readers to respond to and not Ted, please use our general form. Your question will be posted on the Latest Posts page and also on the page of the referenced ailment.

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS:

How to Write a Good Post
A few suggestions can help you put together a submission that is the most helpful to the EC community and/or more likely to help you get the helpful advice you need from other forum participants!

First of all, you want to be clear about what condition you are addressing. Second, please remember to mention in clear detail how you went about treating that condition (but please try to avoid specific product names). It's best if you can offer exact measurements, numbers of doses, and notes on how long you used the treatment.

And lastly, consider including a few pertinent details about your general health such as your:

  • Age
  • Gender
  • Race/Ethnicity
  • Blood Type
  • General Health/Weight
  • Note 1: Please remember that your feedback will be read by people from all over the world who are not familiar with American slang.  Kindly phrase your feedback so that all may understand!

Note 2: Sarcastic and attacking posts will not be tolerated on the Earth Clinic website. If you do not agree with a poster on the site, please be gentle and kind in your response.

Note 3: Please do not mention any product or website unless it is a difficult to find item (like colorless iodine, borax, etc.), or an interesting or informative article on a website that does not sell products. We want Earth Clinic to remain neutral and have people do their own product research. If you do mention a product or website url, be forewarned that we may not publish it.

Note 4: Please minimize religious references of all kinds in your remedies feedback/postings. Our Prayer Group is the perfect place for those reflections!

Note 5: Earth Clinic wishes you the best in trying any of the remedies suggested on our site, and we look forward to hearing about your results, but please consider waiting a day or so after beginning a treatment before you post your comments. Your actual results and experiences will be more useful for our online community than notes about your minute-to-minute progress.

Note 6: Earth Clinic editors will not publish posts deemed to be primarily political in nature. There are lots of websites where we can discuss such matters, but Earth Clinic should remain about providing each other with reliable information on Folk Medicine.

Thank you for taking the time to read this! Enjoy our web site!
