WARNINGS!

[YEA]  03/17/2008: Maily from Melbourne, Australia writes: "Is cancema and blood root the same thing? I put some cancema on a tiny mole I had on my shoulder - a tiny bit three days in a row. The area around the mole went quite red about 1cm immediately around the mole it was raised up a bit and creamish colour. I covered it with a bandaid each day as it took weeks to heal, but when the scab finally came off the mole had gone. It has slowly healed and now I'm putting a little lavender essential oil on it each day and the scar is disappearing quite noticeably. I am a real fan of this website....thank you."

[YEA]  10/18/2007: Cheryl from Pensacola, Florida writes: "I used bloodroot paste on a large mole on the back of my neck. It took several weeks because of the size, but it worked wonderfully. I got the idea from my brother in-law who has used it repeatedly on several facial moles. He has had no problems."

[YEA]  08/06/2007: Chandi from Fairbanks, Alaska writes: "Hey, I said I'd write back after I finished using the bloodroot paste on a mole on my arm, so here I am! I am mostly pleased with the results. The reason I say mostly is because I seem to have missed a tiny bit of the mole when I was applying the paste, and am left with a tiny speck of mole, about the size of a pen-tip. But the part of the mole that did get covered is completely gone. I had applied a fresh bit of paste to the mole after every daily shower (because the medical tape got wet and uncomfortable, mostly) for a week. A white ring developed around the mole (the part that I had missed didn't get the ring). The surrounding skin was red and felt itchy, rather uncomfortable. At the end of the week, I left the bandage off while in the shower, and when the water hit it the scab that had formed in the center of the ring, it just fell off. I was left with a hole in the skin, not very deep, and it didn't hurt at all. After that, I applied Neosporin and a bandage, kept it changed every day for another week, and after that I stopped applying anything to it at all, not even a bandage. Now it's all healed up,the skin is smooth and there's only a pink mark, and the little speck of mole that I missed. I plan to use the paste again to get rid of the speck."

[YEA]  02/01/2007: Katherine from New Market, VA writes: "I tried the Bloodroot Paste - I have many moles and I am very anti-doctor. I have been cursed with these moles since I was young. I read about Bloodroot & decided to give it a try. Well I started on one (to get a feel for the length of time & what to expect) I began at the beginning of Jan 2007 and on Jan 31,2007 that first mole just fell off!No bleeding -- nothing- it just simply fell off-WOW!! It is Feb 1ST &I am starting on #2 mole.. I did experience a small about of discomfort on the last day.. before it fell off- so I opted to do one at a time (some of mine are quite large) I am VERY pleased with the results!! And by the way-- this morning the spot where that first mole was.. is barely noticeable.."

[YEA]  12/22/2006: Alice from Washington, MI writes: "My husband had a large mole on his back that has increased in size over the years. He's very anti-doctor. After some extensive research he decided to try the bloodroot paste. It has worked perfectly, just as described. Be prepared, it can be VERY painful, especially with a bigger lesion, but he is very satisfied with the results. I am an RN, and I am amazed by the results and complete and total removal of the mole. He now has a nice pink, granulated wound that I'm certain will heal quickly without infection. Had he had convential surgery, I'm certain he would have had a much larger wound with the probable need for a skin graft. We are very satisfied with the results."

SIDE EFFECT

[YEA]  03/28/2009: Mary Jane from Hollywood, CA writes: "I've got an enormous of moles and a few skin tages. I was so excited to read that I can get rid of them so easily! I always thought they were permanent. And the one that the derm. removed a few years ago left a 'burn' scar, and cost me $120 (they didn't mention this beforehand either) I've been ridding them with the Castor Oil/Baking soda paste method. I read the AC-Vinegar works well, but since I had the whole bottle of Castor Oil, and I find that it does not burn the skin around the mole or skin tag, I am using this as my initial attack on the moles. I have a little advice for anyone curious about this method. It is basically very similar to the AC-Vinegar method, but just want to add a few helpful tips. I am still learning myself, as I realize that one method alone may not rid every mole I have.

For the purpose of these tips, I'll state that one 'application' would be considered 4-8 hours, which can typically be done during a workday or a night of sleep.
1. For the first 1-3 applications, nothing new might be noticed. This is usual.
*I've read that the ideal consistency is that of 'gum', and this has worked best for me. So make it more on the moldable side rather than too runny. You should be able to almost roll it into a little ball and stick it on the mole. This is also better so that the mixture doesn't leak out too quickly.

2. For faster results, 'score' the mole or skin tag (scraping lightly with a needle, toothpick or nail file) prior to each application.
**Please note that this will make the mole more tender and a red or irritated area will usually develop around the mole due to distress from the scoring. If your mole is in a visible place (on the face or neck) you may not want to score it. In my own case, I'd let them dry and scab up and apply light makeup since they were near my face or neck...and I was still presentable during the treatment! This won't hamper the treatments, it just takes more time. Either way, it should take only 1-2 more applications to get to the next phase.

3. Once you start to feel a slight tingling or burn, this means the mole is moving into the 'disintegration' phase. I imagine it as if the paste is literally eating away at the mole, at least that is what it feels like, and looks like afterwards. The burn doesn't have to occur for the treatment to be effective. I've so far only noticed it on moles, but not with skin tags. Sometimes I will place light pressure with my finger on the area if the tingling starts to subside, to make the most of the application. I feel that this helps to really dig in there and pulverize that thing! It simply feels like a tiny sunburn; and you will likely gain a tolerance for it.

4. I've noticed that some (bigger or raised) moles seem to be full of blood, and this disintegration phase will often look like a blood bath (sorry but that's really what it looks like) when you take the bandaid off, so take care when wearing an application if you are going to be out in public or with friends. Other moles just seem to flatten without the blood, but it's still good to be cautious during this phase, in case of a leaking bandaid. Nothing appealing about that!

5. Once the mole has significantly been disintegrated, use your judgment about peeling it off, or letting it heal. It seems each case is different, and there seem to be no firm method of what to do from here, so go with what you feel. Sometimes I let the mole rest for a day or two so I can truly determine what kind of progress has been made. Other times I just keep going at it. It's often hard to tell if the mole is gone, when there is a scab area, hence the uncertainty.

6. I also read that treating more than one mole at a time is not the best idea, because your immune system is aiding in fighting it off. I attacked quite a few big moles in the past few weeks, and I certainly have had some spells of fatigue that came out of nowhere; just something to note.

In any case, I won't hesitate to try different methods, or perhaps even switch methods mid-treatment. I am covered with plenty of 'beauty' marks, and once the big ones are completely addressed, I'll still be at this for awhile!"

[YEA]  03/15/2007: Brad from Durham, NC writes: "Blood Root Paste did indeed remove a few moles from me. Each mole took a bout a week. It can be a bit uncomfortable and painful for a few days when it swells up. This method supposedly uses your own immune system. Those with auto immune systems may wish to consider this fact.

Since it became hard to find, I can also testify to Edgar C's baking soda and Castor oil method. (The Castor oil is Cold Pressed. Found in Health food Stores. Not the normal type found in Drug stores.) Scratching or pricking the mole, then applying a paste of the two ingredients, and covering with a bandage. The first mole I tried with this method was gone in 3 days ( takes a bout a week to heal after that.) I have 2 that are being treated right now. They are in the "blister" swollen stage on day 2. That can be a bit painful...but they should be gone in the next 2 days... This is suppose to work with warts as well. It did indeed get rid of a very, very small one on my penis.. it felt like a grain of salt under the skin... this took about 12 days... A much bigger wart on my toe that I have had for almost 10 years has not seen results yet, after 12 days... So it may be a stronger, older wart, or the method just might work better on Moles? Either way , it does seem to work on both."

CASTOR OIL AND BAKING SODA PASTE

[YEA]  10/06/2010: D. Ron from Madison, Wi writes: "This seems to work for most skin issues such as skin tags, moles, warts, even skin cancer (removes the lesion/roots but does not heal the cancer):

Mix Castor oil with baking soda. Make into a paste, like tooth paste. Dab on the lesion and cover with a band-aid. Continue doing this until lesion fall off. Be patient. The area will heal without any scaring. Edgar Casey first recommended this procedure decades ago. When you remove a lesion with acid you will normally leave a scar. Baking Soda is alkaline and safe to use. My kitty Fonzie has a lesion on his forehead. We have been dabbing this mixture on his head when we can catch him. No band-aid. It is now just a tenth of what it was. Making a video of this and will post after the lesion is gone and his fur has grown back. I've used this on myself and it has always worked well."

I placed a fingernail dolop on a bandaid and placed it over the mole for approximately 8 weeks everyday. I could see that it was starting to disintigrate before my eyes. And it just seemed like suddenly it was gone. What a relief to not have to get it taken off by a Doctor."

[YEA]  05/20/2008: Killer Bees from Brisbane, Australia writes: "Coconut Oil For Mole Removal: I've been using coconut oil for about six months now and it's fabulous for heaps of things. But something interesting I noticed was this. My skin pale and blemish free, but just above the right breast, I noticed a mole starting to form. It was quite large (about half the size of a pinky nail) and it was skin coloured. I don't expose my body to the sun and I alwasy use sunscreen, so I didn't understand where this mole came from. Over a few weeks, it started turning soft pink and it got me a little worried. I start applying VCO to it every night after my shower and every morning whilst getting ready for work. In about 2 weeks, it had just flaked off in the shower. There's no trace of it ever being there and the skin beneath it is the normal colour with no trace of a scar. I'm so pleased with the unexpected result, I've started applying it to the black mole on my lower back."

[YEA]  06/30/2008: Killer Bees from Brisbane, Australia replies: "Quite by accident, I found out that coconut oil gets rid of moles.

I had a light coloured mole on my chest which got bigger quite rapidly, but didn't change colour. It was still pinkish/flesh coloured. At the time I was using coconut oil as a body moisturiser. To my surprise, I discovered that the oil "loosened" the mole and it came off my skin without any residue or pain or scarring.

I have a large black mole at the base of my spine which has been there all my life. I'm now using the coconut oil to remove it too. It's become looser and softer as I deliberately target it with lots of the oil. I'm expecting it to come away in the shower any day now.

A word of warning though. Don't force the mole to come off. You don't want it bleeding and scabbing over. The oil will take it away without any damage to the underlying skin."

[BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS]  07/25/2010: Ummi from Yanbou, Madina, Saudi Arabia writes: "Garlic worked but with side effects. I tried the garlic remedy for my facial moles and I did get rid of them in four days. The only problem is my moles were very small like pinhead sized so it was difficult to apply the garlic on just the moles without the surrounding skin. So I burnt my face badly and now have bean sized black scars on my face. I have tried vitamin e oil and cream to fade the scars without success. If anyone here knows how I can fade these black scars without bleaching my face (am african) I would really appreciate. Also if anyone here has used any particular cream or gel that worked to lighten a scar or fade it, please send me an email to kehindeamina@yahoo.com (as product names are not allowed here). I have looked into many of the ones online, but I don't want to waste money on something that will not work. Thanks."

[YEA]  01/06/2009: Renee from Brussels, Europe/Belgium writes: "I didn't believe a single word of garlic..cause I thought it was the same things people listen and say without trying it. I decided to give it a try.

I had two moles(flat) by birth with a diameter of almost .05 and two other moles which were not there by birth. I decided to try on all four of them. I squashed a garlic with a kitchen rols and put a small piece of it on each mole and covered it with a scotch tape..since I didn't have a band aid or medical tape. I slept with it, and next morning my cheek was burnt on the skin where garlic had touched it. The mole had given out some sort of liquid too. I cleaned it and applied garlic again in the day and kept it on. I did the same at night. Next morning I looked worse then ever, it seemed as if I was scarred for life, so at day I gave it a break..I even peeled a bit of mole with tweezer but it hurt like hell so I left it alone. The third day I didn't apply garlic. However at night I applied garlic, this time I applied vasline to skin around the mole. Next day(fourth day) I didn't apply garlic. I took a bath and peeled off some of the moles. There was still some part of mole left clinging to skin. However when it dried up by next day, I just peeled it off. Todays the sixth day, by burns are almost gone and so are the moles, IT IS AMAZING. I couldn't believe it. It actually worked, Thanks to Earth clinic. And YAY for garlic. I'm glad. :)"

[YEA]  07/30/2008: Robert from Miami, Florida writes: "I had a couple of small moles on my face which were (at least to me) unsightly. Especially during the winter, when my tan went away. I decided to try some remedies that i found online. Applying honey to the mole didn't do anything for me. Neither did eating a lot of potassium. So i decided to try garlic. I got one of those bowls with a masher and mashed up two little Garlic peaces. When they where all mashed up, i got a Q-tip, and rubbed the inside of the bowl. (with the garlic still in it) I then took the Q-tip and placed it on one of my moles, and in just one day, it fell mostly off. I still have a small portion of the outer ring, but hopefully that will go away too. Otherwise, clear beautiful skin was discovered under the mole. Hope this helps. God bless you guys."

[YEA]  07/27/2008: Mom from Winsted, CT writes: "Two months ago I used garlic to try to remove three moles on my body. I smashed and cut a piece of garlic for each held on by a bandage. I admit i didn't follow the advice to use the smallest piece possible because it burns the skin around the mole. The garlic kept moving around under the bandage. which gave me a burn, so i taped it on. That gave me a worse burn and cellulitis, but not on my face. The mole on my face peeled off with clean skin under. I did see two black roots left and within a month the black came back but the mole is really flat. The other two are a lot smaller. I actually had two skin tags, that i wasn't treating, dry up and fall off, which i thought was really cool. I also had swollen glands in my groin. This whole time I am swallowing a smashed and cut up raw clove every time I ate something. I didn't chew it. I did this for two and a half weeks. This time for about a week i had a pain on my right side every time i had a full bladder. The pain was getting steady and the next day i had a fever. I swallowed two cloves and chewed the third. It burned so i swallowed quick. The next day my man said i was snoring like crazy which i normally don't do according to him. Then i noticed the pain and fever were gone, but the inside of my cheeks and a little on the roof of my mouth were swollen. I can feel the glands in my face are swollen also. 12 hours later the swelling in my mouth is subsiding. I don't advise chewing it but swallowing raw garlic rules. Scientific studies say cut up raw garlic kills bacteria and such in a 9 inch radius around it. Scientific studies also show garlic kills cancer. This site rules."

02/28/2010: Marcella from Atlanta, Ga replies: "Hi Ana. Over the years the moles (both flat and ones that stick out) on my face have doubled. I found this site about one week ago and decided to finally try the apple cider vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. I was skeptical because I was afraid of it disfiguring or scarring my face. First, I scratched at the moles with a steriled needle to prep them and then I applied the hydrogen peroxide with a q-tip. I did this for two days and then decided to try the apple cider vinegar instead of the peroxide. I knew it would probably burn, but did it anyways. By the end of day three the smaller ones were crusted over and just me rubbing them made them fall off like a scab. I am into day four and amazed as to the effectiveness of this natural treatment. I priced removal by a doctor and could not afford the cost so this site is a blessing. If you decide to use the apple cider vinegar, just be sure to protect the surrounding skin with vaseline so you do not get an unnecessary irritation. I have dark skin and the moles I treated did turn pink at the site; however, by day three it was unnoticable. Between treatments you can apply A&D ointment on the treated site to promote healthy healing like I did. I hope this helps. Blessings"
