Source: http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/hpylori/

"Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a type of bacteria. Researchers believe that H. pylori is responsible for the majority of peptic ulcers.

H. pylori infection is common in the United States. About 20 percent of people under 40 years old and half of those over 60 years have it. Most infected people, however, do not develop ulcers. Why H. pylori does not cause ulcers in every infected person is not known. Most likely, infection depends on characteristics of the infected person, the type of H. pylori, and other factors yet to be discovered.

Researchers are not certain how people contract H. pylori, but they think it may be through food or water.

Researchers have found H. pylori in the saliva of some infected people, so the bacteria may also spread through mouth-to-mouth contact such as kissing."

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

1 BETTER BUT NOT CURED

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  03/04/2008: Donna from Jamaica, NY writes: "I was recently diagnosed with gastritis with the H. Pylori bacteria. The gas is dreadful, as you may already know. GI put me on the dreaded triple threat of Plyera and Protonix. I have not taken drugs in quite some time but was so desperate for relief i tried it. I have since stopped taking the pump inhibitor. My question is that I have tried the ACV and it seems to work quite well. But i realized that I have to take 4 to 5 teaspoons several times a day for true relief. Is this too much? And how long should it take for permanent relief, if you know? I'm dying here. Thanks, any response would be appreciated."

02/12/2009: Cristina from Makati, Metro Manila replies: "may i ask if there has been an answer to the question on how long will taking 4-5 tbsp of acv take before it cures the h-pylori permanently? thanks"

2 YEA

[YEA]  05/15/2009: Kinyata from Chicago, Illinois writes: "ACV WORKS! I have suffered from constipation, weight loss, cramping and bloating for about 5 years. Recently I had some lab work done and discovered that I have h.pylori. The doctor immediately prescribed me antibiotics. I have never been a pill popper,so I investigated other natural remedies thanks to my chemistry professor. He suggested ACV 2tbsp. before bed, 2 ozs. of aloe vera juice throughout the day & fresh warm lemon water in the am. After 1 day I saw the change in my bowel movements and my over all well being. I have noticed that I have shed 3lbs, but i know that was most of the toxins and impurities. I feel alot better overall. This is an amazing informative website."

[YEA]  08/08/2009: John from Denver, Co replies: "This remedy worked well! I have been using it for 2 weeks and continue to feel the improvements in overall digestive health. Most days, it has completely stopped my gas problem, bloating is gone, and bowel movements are frequent and healthy. I was a practicing alcoholic who had not gone more than a week without drinking for 3 years, so my digestive system was under a lot of stress, and this rebalancing remedy helped me along tremendously during my path to recovery. I drink up to 4 oz of Aloe Vera Juice, and just pay attention to bowel movements as a que to the right consumption levels. My diet is high in lean protein, fiber, greens, and essential fatty acids to combat inflamation. People say I look ten years younger since I started, and I am only 27."

08/21/2009: Pat from San Diego, Ca replies: "How long do you take the Apple Cider Vinegar, Aloe and lemon combination for the H. Pylori?"

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, BAKING SODA, CAYENNE

1 YEA

[YEA]  07/16/2008: Adil from New York, USA writes: "I've been diagnosed with H.Pylori a while ago and refused to see the doctor after one round of unhelpful antibiotics. My stomach would sometimes bleed a little. I could detect it from my saliva and stools. But it wasn't a big deal. Last week, I was trying to finish my dissertation and was really stressed. My stomach started bleeding constantly so I figured it probably turned into an ulcer, though I don't know the exact diagnosis. I started using ACV+baking soda (which had cured my acid reflux and stomach problems previously for 8 months but had then stopped working) along with Cayenne Pepper. I mix all of them in a bit of water and take it on an empty stomach. Within a day or two my bleeding stopped and I generally feel an increased sense of well-being. Thank you EC, and thank God for natural remedies."

1 YEA

[YEA]  03/15/2008: eric from san antonio, texas writes: "i gave a kidney in 2005 and the skin dehisced. the intestine protrudes and after 2 years i started having focused pain in that area i could feel it doctors can't even tell me for now. well the pain expanded from that part of the colon towards the sigmoid area and boy does that pain gyrate. so get this friend of mine sez i'm the key to a new prespective. his curiousity erked him. i became a guinea pig. through his studies he determined baking soda helps the digestive tract but to what extent. thats where i came in. my pain so chronic for the last three consecutive months. he sez take it it accordingly and see what happens. well i did and in 15 minutes all my pain was going away in 1 hour all gone. but that determined that i have an infection. now he sez if i get myself on a regime i can eradicate the vermin in due time and get back to normal. i tell you this much. bacteria can really screw you up bad. hit me up if you wanna know how im doing in the future."

BROCCOLI SPROUTS FOR H. PYLORI

1 YEA

[YEA]  10/29/2007: Carrie from Los Angeles, California writes: "What about the use of eating 3 1/2 ounces of broccoli sprouts a day for at least 8 weeks to kill off the H. pylori. A study was done at Johns Hopkins saying it even eradicated H. pylori that was antibiotic resistant? I have been putting it in the blender with fresh carrot juice, fresh cabbage and drinking it twice a day..I am also taking NAC twice a day..Anybody else tried this?"

12/07/2007: Felix from New York, USA replies: "I would like to know if carrie's formula has helped her or is helping her eradicate the h pylori."

12/11/2007: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "To the person inquiring re broccoli sprouts for H pylori (which supposedly causes peptic ulcer disease) - broccoli makes for healthy eating, no doubt, but I stumbled on the cure for all my stomach problems (constant heartburn, indigestion, nausea, and outright pain from ulcers several times a year before they got around to discovering H pylori as the cause. They were still calling peptic ulcer disease psychosomatic at that time (l968). I remember the lecture on PUD being psychomatic when I was working on my RN later. One of my instructors asking what I thought about the lecture as I was leaving the room. Being polite, I replied that it was obvious that our instructor who gave this lecture had fallen off the fence on the psychosomatic side. She then asked me if I agreed, to which I replied that I didn't and she asked me why. My reply was that my entire family had PUD problems and I thought that it was more likely an allergy or food intolerance. When she asked for my rationale, I asked her if she knew what test they did to see if you were secreting hydrochloric acid. She said she didn't. I then then explained my rationale by saying "OK, we both agree that the basic problem in PUD is an excess of hydrochloric acid in the stomach which eats a hole in its own lining. OK, when the doctor wants to see if your stomach is secreting hydrochloric acid (lack of it is diagnostic of pernicious anemia), he puts you in a hospital bed, starts an IV, hangs a histamine drip which makes your stomach kick out hydrochloric acid, if your body can produce it. Your body throws out histamine causing an allergic reaction when you come into contact with something you are allergic to. It seemss rational to me that if you constantly come into contact with something that causes your body to kick out histamine, your body is going to respond by kicking out excess hydrchloric acid which causes PUD! Do you still think it's psychosomatic? Her reply, "Hmmm, I'll have to tell Dick about that". Dick, her husband, was an intern at Vanderbilt. My cure was eliminating all bleached flour from my food. I later researched PUD for a final paper at Vanderbilt and discovered that PUD arose several years after they started bleaching flour. "

COCONUT OIL

1 YEA

[YEA]  08/07/2007: Jaki from Small Town, NM writes: "I have been using coconut oil for several weeks, initially for weight loss. A few years ago, I heard of using it as a remedy for so many things, but when I tried it, my face broke out, so I stopped using it. I quit smoking (YAY!) almost 4 months ago, and not only gained weight but was told by a doctor that my distended belly was the result of h.pylori bacteria. I can't believe I aquiessed, but took the prescription for double dose antibiotics I was given. I have rarely taken any antibiotics, and don't like them at all. They caused a Candida imbalance, and a return of intestinal parasites. Then I came across a jar of organic VCO in my fridge, and figured it was worth a try. Amazing results; my energy level rose immediately, my belly started disappearing after a week, and I seem to crave "good" food, while being relatively uninterested in unhealthy food. An unexpected benefit was how clear my sinuses became; even 2 months after stopping smoking, my head and ears were stopped up. I am now experiencing some minor break out on my face, but am beginning to suspect this is a cleansing reaction from candida die-off, parasite die off and tobacco cessation. I think it is important that the VCO be ORGANIC. Thanks for the site!"

10/08/2008: Nicole from Saint Louis, Mo. replies: "How do you take the oil? Does it come in a gelcap by chance or do you dilute into water? Please let me know I am a sufferer as well.
Thanks!"

D-MANNOSE, OMEGA 3 FATTY ACIDS

1 YEA

[YEA]  11/21/2008: Max from Los Angeles, CA writes: "Hi Guys,

I have gotten relief from d-mannose, particularly for the cramping. For me, the cramping stops immediately. And Omega 3 Fatty Acids seem to be very beneficial in a general sense.

Here's something I just found on-line and decided to come back here to let everyone know in case you're interested.

From cancertutor.com, a very reliable website:

Ellagic acid is anti-bacterial, [it] destroys the H. pylori bacteria responsible for stomach ulcers. Ellagic acid is a naturally occurring polyphenolic constituent found in 46 different fruits and nuts, like grapes, pomegranate, red raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and walnuts.

This non-profit site: http://www.cancertutor.com/Cancer/EllagicAcid.html discusses ellagic acid and has links to other sites that discuss it. Linked vendors are identified as such, but tend to be reputable.

I'm going to try it and get back.

Max - Los Angeles"

1 QUESTION

[QUESTION]  02/12/2009: Cristina from Makati, Metro Manila writes: "dont have a testimony but a question on the email re garlic. i was diagnosed with duodenitis ulcer and h-pylori. would taking garlic on empty stomach be ok, considering the wounds in the duodenus? would appreciate your reply. God bless."

05/11/2009: Tony from New York, NY replies: "Hi Cristina, in your case, the most important thing to do FIRST is to treat that duodenitis ulcer. In this case, I would advise you to take Manuka Honey, this is good for healing the ulcer and also helps to kill the h pylori in the stomach. You can type in Manuka Honey in the search engine and you will see where you can buy a jar. On the label or website, it explains how you should take the honey. The ones from New Zealand are real good.

Their are many ways to treat your problem, but the solution that comes to mind is the one I described for you above. Good Luck."

[YEA]  07/13/2008: Tony from New York, USA writes: "Dear friends, I too was diagnosed with h pylori and discovered eating at least 1 clove of organic garlic a day on an empty stomach helps. Garlic is an anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungus remedy. Natures own antibiotic! After I chew and crush and eat the garlic, I swallow it and leave it there for atleast 2 hours to work. After the 2 hours, I usually wash down some spring water. Garlic is a blood thinner, so be careful if you are taking a blood thinning drug. Talk to your doctor first if you are taking a blood thinner and plan on taking this regimen. Good luck folks!"

GET TESTED TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE INDEED CURED

1 YEA

[YEA]  01/04/2008: JH from Trying to Feel Better, USA writes: "Hi- A multitude of stomach issue has recently sent me in search of info on H. Pylori.

Now, I have always preferred to handle all health issues homeopathically, and am familiar with most of the remedies listed here on your pages.

One thing that concerned me deeply is this - I recognized a large number of these treatments to be great for addressing the actual digestive symptoms said to be caused by HP. HOWEVER - Did any of these actually CURE HP? Did anyone do a urea breath test after the treatment to make sure it tested negative for H. Pylori? Or are all of these folks assuming that since thier symptoms are gone, the bacteria has been killed?

If the latter is the case, then folks, you will most likely suffer these same symptoms again in the future, because the bacteria is not actually dead. either the bacteria's activity has just been suppressed, or your SYMPTOMS have been suppressed.

Since all of this H. Pylori business is relatively new, (2005 Nobel Prize) there's a lot of room for new findings, and for false claims.

Example- there is an article out there stating that the comsupmtion of broccolli and broccolli sprouts will cure HP. But the people conducting the study sell broccolli sprouts! It would be great if the study is true, but folks- use your head!

I understand wanting to find natural ways to rid yourself of this, which is how I ended up here.
But - Use common sense. Make sure you test NEGATIVE before assuming that you've been cured.

Good luck!"

01/10/2009: Rich from Boca Raton, Fl replies: "Effects of high dose vitamin C treatment on Helicobacter pylori infection and total vitamin C concentration in gastric juice
http://cat.inist.fr/?aModele=afficheN&cpsidt=1690250

It would appear that Mega-C (5 grams Vitamin C for 4 weeks), has a 30% cure rate for H Pylori. My suggestion is to use a buffered form of C, so as not to upset your ph balance. Sodium Ascorbate is my preferred form. You can easily mix 5 grams of Sodium Ascorbate with a glass of milk, without upsetting your stomach. And/or 2 grams with Orange Juice. You can't taste this stuff.

Certainly getting tested is a good idea, as this is a very serious condition."

11/11/2009: Jabbar from Manchester, Uk replies: "Hi,

I just wanted to say, I fully agree with your comments. The testing afterwards is so vital to confirm or negate the continued presence of h.pylori. cheers."

KEEP YOUR pH ALKALINE

1 BETTER BUT NOT CURED

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  04/28/2009: Howaurayou from Las Vegas, NV writes: "If you have or are suffering from H pylori or just gastric stomach, go to any health food store and get PH paper. The paper dipped in your urine will let you know your PH level. If you are below 7.0, you will notice that is when your stomach will be at its worse. During these times, it is best to eat foods that are alkaline and not acidic. If you are like me, you will see there are foods that are acidic that you have been eating, and causing your stomach to feel even worse. If your body show a PH level below the norm of 7.0 eat foods like apples. When my stomach starts to feel this way one apple usually tones it down and even eliminates the pain and discomfort. It took me a few days of testing my PH levels and eating foods from the the Alakaline group. If you keep your food intake at 70% alkaline and 30 acidic, your PH will return to normal. I feel best when my PH is at 7.5. You may find you need it higher. The best place to look for an alkaline and acidic list of food groups, is to look it up on the internet. It will not cure your H Pylori, but it does make you feel like it is gone if you watch what you eat. Good luck and good health."

LIGHT MEALS AFTER 4PM

1 YEA

[YEA]  05/02/2009: Judy from Woodford, NSW Australia writes: "I have suffered from h pylori and night time was the most terrible experience because I could not sleep with the constant irritation of my stomach. I have been taking lots of ginger, garlic, tumeric, cabbage juice, brocholi sprouts, plenty water, probiotics. I have to eat lightly and the most important thing is not to eat any heavy food at night or I won't get to sleep. I therefore eliminate all processed foods - have lots of raw veg salads and light fish. What I discovered eliminated the night discomfort for me was just having watermelon or light fruit after 4 pm - nothing hard to digest. It allows the stomach to heal overnight as the stomach does not have to pump out a lot of acid when you just eat fruit. I started sleeping better, pain went away and I woke up feeling refreshed. I now do not have symptoms. AT night the stomach does NOT want to be digesting heavy food. Sip on teas made from tumeric, ginger, liquorice. When you get enough rest your body will be able to fight the bug."

2 WARNINGS!

[YEA]  01/31/2009: Linda from Orlando, FL writes: "I am a nurse, and about a year ago I was seriously ill. The doctors did every test... then blood test which tested positive for H-pylori... I was soooo desperate for a cure... because I could not tolerate the "standard" treatment of antibiotics, antacids; I turned to the internet and found Matula Tea... it saved my life. You have to understand this nasty bacteria had me bedbound for 6 weeks... with one 2 day stay in the hospital for dehydration. After one month of taking the tea, I was tested again and no sign of H-Pylori. I started to feel "Alive"again.

But here I am yet again with the bacteria. I believe I know the source now, because people too can be carriers of this disease with no symptoms. Well this time I decided to try the "Standard treatment" and had a severe allergic reation to the antibiotics, and still have H-pylori positive. I have learned my lesson, I am ordering Matula Tea once again, and the person who I believe infected me is to be tested and treated. "

I was getting so desperate about my health and even changed my Doctors several times after they all started to tell me that it was because I was panicking so much that I wasn't getting better. I finally searched the internet and found Matula Tea. I am pleased to tell you that Matula has proved to be a real winner and it has given me back my health again. A month after I completed the treatment I did the H.pylori stool antigen test and it came back negative. I was so happy I couldn't believe it. So much so for the antibiotics and other drugs that simply didn't work. I feel duty bound to let other people know about Matula Tea and how it has worked for me. ' What I found great about Matula Tea is that I didn't suffer any side effects like I did with all the antibiotic treatments. I hope that all you people that are suffering just like I did will find my story beneficial to your future health."

[WARNING!]  01/31/2008: Tony from NY, USA writes: "dear friends, STAY AWAY from matula tea which is sold in the internet. I bought it and when I got it brewed it for about 5 or so minutes. I took a FEW SIPS and minutes later became very ill, allergic reaction. Called 911 and ended in the Emergency Hospital. Be careful folks with some of the things you put in your body. Remember, be careful, as many of these people selling these remedies first objective is to make a buck."

[WARNING!]  09/07/2008: Tony from NY, USA replies: "OK,

I did try matula tea, but as I stated above had a SEVERE allergic reaction to this dangerous tea and ended in the ER, and before, the people that sell it stated in their website that you get no allergic reaction from it, but they lied back then, and now, upon reviewing their website, they took out this false statement about the tea not causing an allergic reaction after it is consumed.

STAY AWAY from this tea.

The people who sell this tea are from South Africa and as you can see, many of the so called "Positive remarks" are people from South Africa....hmmm.....! I wonder if the folks that sale this tea are the very ones posting positive remarks, just to make a BUCK! For SHAME!!!

If you try it, you do so at your own risk! I say, try something else, save your money and DON'T BUY this deadly tea!"

11/23/2008: Niki from Las Vegas, NV USA replies: "I'm so sorry to hear of the allergic reaction. But I must say that there are many pharm. and/or OTC drugs out there that also cause allergic reactions. Obviously something in the Matula mix is allergenic for you. They (Matula) does not list out what the herbal mix includes, unfortunately. Perhaps they need to invest in a patent in order to do so. Anyway, I have been using the tea for less than a week and have noticed a bit of improvement with my severe acid reflux. My symptoms were in the areas of chronic cough, nausea and constant hunger. I had been taking only Prilosec (among other acid reflux meds)for some time since my doctors did not "find" the H. pylori bacteria. However, Prilosec often made me sick, I'm thinking due to my stomach being unable to digest the food properly because the acid content was being neutralized. I have spent many, many nights without sleep. Desperate to find an alternative to the synthetic approaches, I have been searching the internet for possible avenues to explore. Yes, the Matula formula is expensive when compared to a few packs of Prilosec, but not so expensive when compared to the constant doctor visits, endoscopy, and OTC drugs. I paid $159.00 plus $30.00 shipping for one month supply of Matula. I will continue to use the $6.33 cup of tea twice a day for the entire month. But one must not assume that simply taking the tea is the cure all. The website does give some directions in what dietary changes need to be made. This is very important for the success of the program. And the dietary changes need to be somewhat permanent. They also give you ebooks to read for additional information regarding the lifestyle and dietary changes. If you have tried everything else, then you know how desperate it feels to try to find anything that works, and you'll try everything. But also remember, clinical trials are never finished. Think of all the pharm drugs that have been put on the market only to be pulled due to some unforeseen (didn't show up in the clinical trials) complications. But how many of those companies reimburse you for the money spent to discover you can't take the drugs. Matula does guarantee their product (probably minus the $30 shipping), so if you experience a problem (not to discount the severe reaction mentioned), then return the product. But don't give up on searching for the one thing that does work for you. I have thrown away more drugs due to reactions (this includes supplements), but I know there is something out there for me. Perhaps Matula will be the one, maybe not. I'll let y'all know."

He found nothing. Then I got Acid Reflux really bad. Took 2 Prevacid and 2 Carafat each day. A biopsy at an endoscopy found the bacteria in my stomache and barret syndrom 1st stage.I took the pills for 9 months and had a lot of side effects. A specialist told me,"millions of people live with this and take the pills every day. This is nothing." I started Matula Tea and had no side effects. After 2 weeks I reduces my medication, after 3 weeks I stopped taken it. I emailed Customer Service from Matula Tea some times and asked for advice. He told me to take other remedies with the tea.(Slippery Elm, L-Glutamin, Betain) It worked for me. I had an Endoscopy two months ago, my bacteria is gone, my barret syndrom is gone, as well as my acid reflux. If I will get acid reflux or the bacteria again, I will take the tea again."

[NAY]  06/17/2009: amyhappens from New York, NY replies: "MATULA TEA - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! From what I can tell, the tea is simply a diuretic one akin to Fennel tea or Nettle. It made me sick. Further, I have tried to email and contact the Matula Tea dealers/makers through "Super Natural Herbs" (http://www.super-natural-herbs.com) and Ulcer Cure (http://www.ulcer-cure.com/) - a complete waste of time: NO REPLY now that they have my money. Nice. Avoid Matula tea and buy yourself some Fennel tea if you're constipated, get some Aloe Juice if have gastritis, and stick diligently to the Manuka Honey and Mastic Gum if you have H Pylori!

By the way, I cured my H Pylori without antibiotics and note how on my blog:

[YEA]  01/01/2008: lorna from stranraer, scotland writes: "please post this comment on your site. ACV Months ago i started to feel very unwell and quite depressed had problems swallowing then the horrible chest pain. Went to see specialist who did an endoscopy and biopsy which showed gastritis and that i had H Pylori. Went on to triple therapy and also had to take 80mg omeprazole daily. Anyway finished the meds of in October 07. took months to feel better but eventually i did. Except for the acid reflux. I have no pain just the most horrendous taste in my mouth and a white tongue. I still have problems sleeping and ferel like my stomach is doing sommersaults and just as im about to drop of i jump as i seem to stop breathing. Anyway i found this site a while back and went out and bought ACV tablets. I was to afraid to try them as i had such bad experiences with the omeprazole. I waited til i saw the specialist and asked for his advise. He loked at me as if i was mad and put me back on omeprazole which he knew made me feel ill. Today is jan 1st 08 and i woke feeling dreadful, more through lack of sleep and i have decided to try the ACV today. Guess they cant kill me. I will write back and let you all know how i did on them and i hope i get the relief you all have had. happy new year x"

08/07/2009: Janneg from Madison, Wi replies: "You poor thing. I know how you feel. I've been -----d over by doctors many a times. Find yourself a very experienced acupuncture doctor. Chinese Medicine is much more reliable than western if you have an experienced doctor. It's been used for over 5000 years. I know western medicine is all over the news and a very strong power in the world, but it is motivated by money, and is treated as a business. They keep you sick to keep you coming back. Start eating a lot of veggies. Eat some veggies with every meal, and try to eat more veggies than all other types of foods on your plate. moderate protein, some with each meal, but not more than the veggies. Have a piece of fruit with each meal. Look into what vitamins are in what foods, and make sure you are getting all necessary vitamins from your food. Absorption of nutrients is better when you get them from a food source, and there is varying info on how good taking vitamin supplements really is... some info says that it can actually be harmful. Eat some plain yogurt with live active cultures, or if you have difficulty with yogurt take some lactobacillus (live active cultures) with food in pill form. Various forms of lactobacillus are the good bacteria in your digestive tract. I've read that 80% of your immune system is in your digestive tract. When you take antibiotics it kills not only the bad bacteria in your stomach but the good bacteria as well. So basically it ----s up your immune system, and if you take too many antibiotics it really ----s up your immune system and you end up with an auto-immune disease, diabetes, or cancer. So if you ever feel like you have to take them (which to me is debatable except in extreme emergency situations) then supplement with eating lots of yogurt with live active cultures (make sure it says this on the container) or lactobacillus supplements. Some other things that encourage the growth of the good bacteria you have that I can name off the top of my head are sprouts, all forms of algae and micro algae, cranberries, greens, veggies. Variety of foods is always best. If someone tells you not to eat any of a certain food group.. tell them to ---- off.. Everything in moderation is best. And foods of all colors is a good idea. Broad spectrum of nutrients. Eating your fruit with your veggies is good. It helps you maintain a normal blood sugar. Eating just fruit alone can spike your blood sugar, and I believe that digestion, and absorption is best if you eat protein, veggies, and fruit at every meal, because often to absorb one nutrient you need another. This along with variety helps to ensure absorption, and digestion. I hope this helps you. Another good thing is steam bath. Take a hot bath and sit in it for about 15-20 minutes to sweat. It gets out toxins... do this especially if your tongue has a purple tint to it. Also, take it easy. Don't stress yourself out, don't get yourself too involved in other peoples problems.. It can wear on you, and really a person can only truly help themselves. And don't worry you'll get better. It's all about what you take in, and how you feel... eat good, and don't stress.. you'll get better. The body can take a ridiculous amount of abuse and still heal itself good as new... It's incredible and beautiful. Here's my advice. Take it or leave it."
