Hi Peter from Austin :-), I am writing to thank you so much for posting this; I have actually posted this very question just now, before I found this. Now, thanks to you, I am able to extrapolate from your post what I should do, and I feel that I have enough information to proceed.

BTW my Fulvic/Humic came from the same place ( :-) great people :-) ), except that it sounds like you might have got it as a mix, whereas I got the powdered Fulvic and granulated Humic acids separately.

Once I get my stuff blended and tried out and have an experiential opinion on it, I will post back here; I do not know how long that will take though. I do want to put some safeguards into my blend which will not impair the Humic/Fulvic activity, yet will be precautions for sanitizing things in case it is necessary because of processing, etc...

Thanks again for posting Peter :-). I would be interested in hearing your further thoughts on this BTW, if you have any further experiences to add to it by now...

Stay well, Linda

I bought some fulvic acid to use as fertilizer. It is concentrated at 75%. I was assured it was the highest quality, it is a golden yellow color.

My problem is that I do not know how to mix it. My seller in china speaks broken english and his mixing instructions seem waaaaay too strong.

Can you pull up a website from the company you bought it from, or a phone number you can call and ask? Different companies may have different dilution ratios, it best to contact them if you can. Peace, Rena.

Posted by Brad (Cherry, Il) on 12/29/2014

Fulvic Acid does not have a standard for measuring the concentration by chemical testing. The standard is to judge the concentration by comparing the color (colormetric) to a chart, When your color matches up with the chart then you have a relative idea of the concentration. I have been involved with the agricultural side of the 12 molecules that make up the humic or humate complex. I buy a concentrate that is almost black in color that is sold to me as a 3% by weight solution. There is a specific molecular weight to the Fulvic molecule and this is the way I buy material for cropping uses. I can tell you that if the liquid you buy is golden that it has already been cut by probably close to 100:1. Most times I see a product offered that has been cut 150:1 and is more the color of iced tea in the north. At this rate we would use a quart to the acre for growing crops. For human consumption, you can make your own determinations. Thanks for all your contributions, it helps find out what actually does work.

One of the cheapest and most bio-available sources of fulvic acid is Blk water. It can be purchased in most health/grocery stores. It is purified fulvic/humic trace mineral complex + spring water from near Polar Wisconsin. Since it's already in a liquid form, I believe that it's the best source of fulvic/humic acid (Shilajit). The mythology (which always contains truth) is rich and vast concerning the healing potential of this substance. In Ayurvedic medicine, it is at the top of the list as far as healing, detox, and longevity.

Hello!

Can someone please advise me on how safe is it to use shilajit everyday? It is one of the ingredients in a green food powder I am considering to take and I do not know much about shilajit. Is it an herb that is suggested to be used for a period of time only? I think I read somewhere that in texts it has been suggested for use for one year at the most.

Thanks!

The highest grades of fulvic acid have a low ph until they are consumed. Once consumed it functions the same way a lime or lemon does.

The amount of humic acid in peats are so small you cannot do it. Most humic acids and fulvic acid are extracted from near ancient prehistoric deposits on top of coal. In coal mining they resemble a very low grade for heating purposes only, bituminous coal deposits.

However, humic acid are softer than bituminous coal deposits for which they are extracted with humic acid. You cannot do it from extracting from peats, it takes many tons of peat just to get only a handful of fulvic acid or humic acid. The best way to make money from fulvic acid is to mix them into fertilizer to improve the uptake of minerals by the plant.

It causes fertilizer chemical to be biologically available. To date there is no fertilizer chemicals
using this process, but it works well.

I am doing the Candida Protocol and a few days ago I took a couple of drops of Optimally Organic Fulvic in distilled water. A couple hours later I was throwing up and having sharp pains in my abdomen. It took two days for my stomach to feel right again. Felt lousy, no appetite. So I ordered Wu Jin San and today I mixed the lowest dose 0.5 oz in 6 oz of distilled water...and again a couple hours later I was throwing up and having sharp pains. I could not even hold a sip of water down, it's like my stomach just shut down and was rejecting anything. After several hours of misery I sipped a tiny bit of water with a little baking soda in it and felt some relief. What am I missing about Fulvic? Are there some people it is simply contradictory for?

I would like to know if someone have used fulvic acid from mineral logic http://www.fulvicmineral.com/? they have very much information on their site and have done several laboratory analyses, they even claim to have tested many other companies products and gives results to those analysis showing how their product is superior respect others. I am using Optimally Organics fulvic acid and mineral logic states on their site that it Optimally organics has very high cadmium level on their product. I wrote to Optimally organics about that claim and they responded that they are aware of that false claim and their legal team is on to that. So it seemed to me that mineral logic has great product and they even own the fulvic acid deposit and harvest, extracts and manufactures their product but are they making false claims about other companies products or are they real and others are making false claims about their own product...

The other thing is that mineral logic doesn't sell their product on the site and when I emailed them to know where to buy it I got no answer. After second email they had redirected my email to arcadiasupplements.com who wrote me that they handle distribution of mineral logics fulvic acid. So If someone has used arcadiasupplements e-lite fulvic acid, please let me know was it effective.

I'm commenting on Siri from NYC post here as I also had a reaction similar to theirs. I also used the same company 350x Fulvic Acid. Was only using a drop and then up to 3 a day, however it wiped me out, headaches, fatigue, wakefulness, and general stomach achiness. I wasn't nauseous, and it seemed to constipate me. I also thought perhaps I had food poisoning. I mistakenly started it at the same time I was taking a strengthening herb mix, as well as a green formula and liver formula ( Exsula), so it;s hard to tell what might have caused it. Stomach still not right 3 days later. Slowly getting better. Will attempt to introduce slowly after symptoms subside.

Anyways, I finally got some 100% pure humic acid powder. Now, my question is, when I mix this it is completely black but it does have a taste to it. This is not suppose to have a taste, correct? Fulvic Acid is yellow in color, however it shouldn't have any taste whatsover. If it does, then most likely it is not pure and chemicals have been added. Pure Humic is Black in Color and should also be tasteless if its pure. There's a company Regeneration USA that sells Humic & Fulvic Minerals which are I believe the purest available and aid in dealing with a host of issues from acid reflux, digestion problems, it also re-mineralizes the body and assits in removing toxins from the body. Hope this helps

Re: silajit, though it may be harmless in its pure form, at least one Indian manufacturer on the UK market has been done because their product was full of added heavy metals. Six months later: product still being quietly sold on the UK market via various websites. It's one of those things I'd love to try if I could find a guaranteed pure source for it, but as things stand, I'm very wary - it may just make things worse.

I've found fulvic acid products a bit too strong in the past, though I seem to tolerate them better now. One alternative is moor mud, dug out of an Austrian bog and pasteurised. Absolutely delicious, but criminally expensive, at least in the quantities that I am drinking it. The moor mud sold for baths is a quarter of the price, but I have to figure out how to replicate the effects of pasteurisation without just boiling it to death (part of the goodness of the moor mud is in the bacteria, so I'm reluctant to kill the lot) - any bright ideas on this front?

I don't know if you are aware, but the brand you are using isn't just fulvic acid, it's ionic minerals in a fulvic acid base. Not that you may care, just to let you know. I also bought this brand first, then I realized what it was, so then I bought the other from bioag which is just fulvic acid, and am currently using both. May I ask how old you are, and how long have you been using it? Also, what conditions are you using it for? It is wonderful stuff isn't it, Peace, Rena.

Optimally claims their Fulvic is alkaline, but the pH on test sheet shows 1.26 (acidic). In water that has organic material can claim they have Fulvic, but the ancient material comes from humic acid>>then you extract the Fulvic acid. If they are using distilled water for extraction, you can't get an alkaline end product. Be careful with these companies that claim to be the best in the world has been my experience. Do your own due diligence for your own health and safety.
