Folks, is it ok to combine Organic AVC, Coconut oil and Anti-Depressant medication through out the course of the day. I cant seems to shave off insomnia, excessive thoughts, panic attacks, anxiety, depersonilization, muscle tension and Fatigue syndrome. My doctor want me to start the Anti-deppresant medication to help ease some of the symptoms for at least 3 months.

1. One Tablespoon of ACV in the morning with honey

2. Cook with one table spoon of Coconut oil

3. Take medication at night.

Any thoughts or advice will be greatly appreciated. I hope they dont counter act each other

Thanks

No, ACV and coconut oil are kitchen items not medications. You won't have any problem taking them with medication. Lily.

Surulere, depression can come from toxins, have you ever thought of that? If no major event has occured in your life and you are depressed you might have too much toxins in your body. I am reading a great book right now which refers to that. Taking Vit. C, at least 1000mg a day seems to help quite well. You might be able to come off your depression medication which, if the problem is indeed the toxins, is not doing you any favours. Sorry I can't help you with the combination you are taking as I have no idea of the consequeces.

Francisca - Depression is an illness, not the result of "some major event that occurred" in someone's life. That type of depression is situational (lost a job, divorce, etc. ) and the depression will pass with time. No med's would be prescribed for that type depression.

Surulere - All of your symptoms listed would benefit more - MUCH more, from a benzodiazapene (CNS depressant used to treat anxiety, panic attacks, sleeplessness, racing thoughts, muscle tension) than an SSRI (antidepressant).

I would get a second opinion. I truly would. I work in the medical field and when I read your symptoms, I thought; "Why is the doctor prescribing SSRI's/antidepressants?? She's not depressed, she has textbook ANXIETY issues and should be on a benzo."

Returning to your question though - yes, you can absolutely continue taking the ACV, honey and coconut oil regardless of the type medication. Hope you feel better, soon.

Re Depression: It can also be a chemical imbalance - and not the result of anything psychological.

I do find it odd that so many people are clinically diagnosed and on drugs for it these days (including people I am very close to).... when just a couple of decades ago it wasn't so widespread.

Or maybe it was, and people just didn't know it or talk about it as much?

Thanks guys for all your input. Im not depressed but have lots of anxiety issues that have gone 120%. I had some trauma about a year ago which left me in this stage. Trust me, it not my last resort for a depression meds. Hence, I have a problem with dosage with herbal medicines which are not properly prescribed. The Benzo are not the way to go because of addiction... If only I get one goodnight sleep. That will be the beggining of my success story.

Hi Surulere - If it is a good nights sleep you are looking for - here is something to try:

Calcium - 600mg

Magnesium - 600mg

Melatonin - 5mg (sublingual - the kind you let melt under your tongue)

Take this about 45 mins before bed, and you WILL sleep! I slept SEVEN hours straight a couple of nights ago, and the main new thing I have added is the melatonin. I love it.

Also - do NOT drink energy drinks, coffee or take a B-complex vitamin after noon or it can mess up your sleep big time.

Good luck to you!

OH! I forgot to add - along with the Melatonin before bed, and the 600mg of Calcium and Magnesium - take a good Vitamin D-3 supplement. I take at least one 5, 000 iu a day now. Living in Seattle (Washington State) there is VERY little sun.... Vitamin D is so important for so many things!

The anxiety and panic issues are the tip of the iceberg. They always stem from another deeper problem, unfortunatly. Sometimes you don't realize that you have a problem until the anxiety and panic begins. These attacks are your body's outlet- a type of shut down and "no-more" where your body takes over. The actually scientific problem is the lack of sertonin absorbtion and chronic depression is pre exisiting not from an event. If you are taking anti anxiety meds, DO NOT take anything that causes drowsiness. It puts you at risk of stroke.

All the omegas (fish oil), B12 and gluten free diet ease the symptoms. 15 years of fighting it myself :) Cognitive therapy works.

Hey Bill from San Fernando, Philippines, I just read a Ted quote "A hydrogen peroxide cannot be combined with sodium thiosulfate. Both would neutralize each other, but they can be taken hours apart. " If I have chlorinated water will hydrogen peroxide get rid of it and then go on to give oxygen to my body? I usually add the sodium thiosulfate to a big glass pitcher water and later in the day add some H2O2 drops but I didn't know these would neutralize each other, even hours apart? I was using a new charcoal filter to get the chlorine out but the water doesn't smell or taste the best left overnight. But with Sodium Thiosulfate it tastes fine. Thanks, love this site and all the wonderful people here xo

Hi I leave a 1 litre carafe of water on the kitchen bench all the time and refill it when needed. I find the chlorine taste is gone in about an hour. I read a book called 'Your body's many cries for water' by F. Batmanghelidj and he says leave your glass of water to sit for 1 hr and the chlorine will evaporate out of it. Cheers Lily.

Bill, thank you for sharing your insights. Regarding hydrogen peroxide and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), have you had any experience with taking Chinese herbal formulas within the six-hour time frame after taking hydrogen peroxide, and, if so, could you please share your insights on that topic? Also, regarding taking Vitamin C before taking hydrogen peroxide, could you please share your insights about the time frame that the Vitamin C is in the body before being excreted?

Sincerely,

J.

Thanks Bill for the wealth of info! I eat mini meals throughout the day so I started taking the Borax & H2O2 combo in the evenings to fight candida. I also add green tea for the tannic acid & sometimes magnesum & potassium to this combo too. Hope that's ok, if not please let me know. Thanks again to all the helpful people here!

I found this website while searching for a cure for urinary tract infections. I am so impressed with the cure that I have been obsessively searching everything I can think of that I want to try to cure or improve. I have a few remedies I want to try but I'm not sure how to use everything together. One post said that ACV would cancel out the positive effects of using an oil if I mix them together. I have seen posts by other people who use different oils and ACV but they don't say whether they take oil then take ACV 4 hours later, for example, or vice versa, or if they take them mixed together. Can anyone tell me if they use any oils mixed with ACV and if it works well when mixed or if I should take them at seperate times?

Apple Cider Vinegar, Honey, Vitamin C, Baking Soda, H2O2

★★★★★

Apple cider vinegar, liquid unpasturized honey, vitamin C, sodium bicarbonate and drops of 29% food grade hydrogen peroxide mixed into a yerba mate tea base has now been personally consumed for ten years. The effects have been most beneficial to my health and well being. Consumed instead of coffee it is a wonderful pick me up to start the day. This should be followed with water through the day as the tea is cleaning the pipes. The sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is used to adjust the acidity and flavour (pinch or two). The honey should not be put into a too hot tea 114F max to retain it's full benefits. One of honey's main attributes is that when diluted with water the presence of hydrogen peroxide is tested for to determine the quality, the higher the value for h2o2 the higher the quality of the honey and it's healing properties. H2o2 and honey have a special relationship as long as certain enzymes are still abundant. Honey will also take up h2o2 and act as a carrier. All the other ingredients are rich in anti-oxidants, meaning they assist in controling oxidation and oxidative stress also preventing oxygen free radical damage. The amount of h2o2 mixed in should always begin with 1 or 2 drops and carefully progress up from there. There is nothing that will prevent you from contacting pathogens but how they are dealt with is dependant on your immune response and wether you were affected or never even noticed. Food poisoning was another interesting situation.

We got it as a family my son who drinks the least water and no h2o2 with colloidal silver (cs) was affected for four days.

My daughter who drinks some cs water and bathes in h2o2 (2 cups 29%/ tub) was affected for two days.

My wife who drinks more cs water than my daughter and bathes in h2o2 was affected two days but was better than my daughter.

I had a slight churning of the intestines and an extra bowel movement a couple of hours after the suspect meal. So I never skipped a beat and was able to take care of the other less fortunate souls. There was also a benefit to adding a bit of cs to the water and to consuming an adequate amount of the water.

I love this site, it is very reassuring to see that a lot of people take their health seriously out of the hands of doctors! I like to ask a question. Is it possible to do a H202 cure and take the cider vinegar also? can we do both together?

This is one FANTASTIC site, keep it up.

I've been reading this site for days now. I've decided there are a handful of things I would like to try, but don't feel I have a good handle on how some of these things interact with each other. I would like to try Borax and Iodine treatments for Fluoride and Heavy Metal detox as well as maintenance supplementation. In addition, I would also like to try the ACV and H2O2 therapies. From one of Teds posts, I know not to combine the ACV and H2O2. Here are my remaining questions:

Would a reasonable protocol be to simply alternate these therapies every other day?

Can Borax and Iodine be combined with either of these therapies?

Using Teds ACV advice, could I make a daily tonic of ACV, Baking Soda, Iodine and Borax? Perhaps start the day with a shot of H2O2 and drink the tonic throughout the day?

Any advice on combining these would be appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm confused about one thing however. I thought vitamin C would deactivate iodine, or am I thinking of something else?

Hi Mike, I have read in several places on the www that Vitamin C *decolorizes* Lugol's Iodine solution, but does not deactivate it. I do not remember the exact chemical change which occurs, but I do know that Bangkok Ted has spelled it out in one of his EC posts.

I add Lugol's to the last few tablespoons of my morning coffee, works great and lessens the chemical taste.

I hope this helps.

Hi, I'm starting to take H2O2 protocol for my herpes, but I can't stand the taste, at the moment I'm drinking it down while sucking on lollies which I know is bad for herpes, but that's the only way for me to hold the drinks down. The few times I didn't do it, I always gag and threw up. Is there something else I can keep in my mouth while drinking it? Is blackstrap molasses and H2O2 alright to be mixed together? Thank you.

Additional Remedy Combining

Red, Bill, EC, anyone please, Is it safe to mix small doses of Tetrasodium EDTA, Tannic acid (or green tea), H202, Sea Salt & Borax in 1 liter all together & drink throughout day?

Just so many remedies the body could use daily but how to fit them all in when many require to be mixed with a liter of water. God Bless. Thank you!

Posted by Self (Ny) on 09/30/2010

EDTA & Green tea (probably same for tannin acid, which is in Green tea) are ok, as even Lipton Iced does so

Ted already said, Hydrogen Peroxide, Sea Salt and borax were ok. I think somewhere Ted said Green Tea and Borax might cancel each other out in some way (GT contains fluoride and Borax removes that and there might be more too it). Maybe Tannic acid and borax might be ok?

Ted sometimes says to add Baking Soda to a more acid form of EDTA, so salt is probably fine too (at worst, I think it might just give a laxative effect). I believe mixing Green Tea or Tannic acid is ok to combine with H202. I did see a study where they combined Tannins and H2O2 so I would guess its fine. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1858719

People also mix H202 with milk and juices and I read "It is used in aseptic packaging, such as milk cartons, fruit juices and foods" http://www.tuberose.com/Hydrogen_Peroxide.html

But Ted did say not to take H2O2 with Apple Cider Vinegar (unless its only 2-7 drops H2O2 but I think he said it will cancel out the Vitamin C content of ACV, so not to take it with Vitamin C, & also not with sodium thiosulfate for other reasons. *BTW, Ted did once write of using ACV_H2O2 as an acidic remedy for a sore throat but H2O@ only in the small amounts listed above, otherwise it could become "Peracetic acid" which would be too strong. It has been used in water purification but in extremely small amounts.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/664914

When Ted talked about the ACV alkalizing remedy (best morning and maybe night, depending on urine pH, if its not the ideal 7 on an accurate test meter. The pH strips he wrote in the past aren't the most accurate), I believe he wrote to do the H202 (capful H202/liter drinking water) drinking water therapy six hours later.

"Hydrogen peroxide oxidises sodium thiosulfate to sulfuric acid."
http://www.practicalchemistry.org/experiments/catalysis-of-the-reaction-between-sodium-thiosulfate-and-hydrogen-peroxide,110,EX.html

I think you're fine to mix all of them, except I'd use tannic acid instead of green tea.

Actually, consider taking the vitamin C and baking soda at different times. I have read some saying the baking soda can destroy the vitamin C. Perhaps this is less so with the more alkaline form of vitamin C sodium ascorbate? Also if you take a lot of baking soda, I also read it might deplete B vitamins (especially Folic acid) so make sure to get enough B's or supplement.

Hello Ted.

I found your reviews very interesting and helpful.

I have started to take the following:

10 drops of HYDROGEN PEROXIDE 4 times a day
1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider VINEGAR in a cup with 1/4 cup of water 2 times a day.

Just by taking the ACV I have had a complete change in how I feel!!!! :)

So my questions are:
- how long should I continue this
- what other supplements should I take?
I currently take a
-prenatal vitamin (because of vitamins, not because I am looking to get pregnant)
-milk thistle x1 daily

What else should I take?
What should I be monitoring? (ex urine ph?)

Thank you so much, words cannot describe how I am feeling right now. What a difference this has made.

Question about Apple Cider Vinegar consumption...

I make two power protein shakes every day with 120g whey protein, 2 tbsps BioNatures Flax Seed Oil, 15g Glutamine and was going to add 2Tbsps of ACV but I wanted to check first to see if by mixing it with the other products and using a blender it would take away the actualy positive effects of taking ACV.

With flaxseed for example it can't be cooked at all and loses it's value, but in a blender it doesn't.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions ahead of time.

Everyday Remedies for Optimal Health
Posted by Lori (Delta, Co) on 04/15/2010

I have taken remedies posted on ec for about a year straight. The sea salt, bs molasses, lemon or lime/baking soda, borax, h202, granulated lecithin 2x aday, mag citrate, sodium ascorbate. in taking the bsmolasses I still have lots of new gray hair growing in. mag citrate I swear constipates me. Am I missing something for an optimal health? the lecithin did get my liver enzymes down to normal in a matter of months:)i'm concerned about the sea salt drying my kidneys up? I'm pretty healthy, past the menopause,

my question is what do you take as remedies for an everyday regiment and for how long have you done this?

Hi Joe...Your remedy combination shouldn't cause problems and shouldn't minimize it's effects -- but don't forget to take a "rest" from taking the water remedy for a couple of days every week.

Also, the only reason I use Epsom Salts in my water remedy is that this is the only one available and easy to buy in the Philippines where I live. Epsom salts is better used for Transdermal Magnesium Therapy. The best forms of magnesium to supplement are mag chloride, mag citrate and mag gluconate. Magnesium Chloride seems to be the best all-round form of magnesium to take as a supplement in solution -- because it simply has more beneficial properties than any other form of magnesium salt (because of the Chloride part of the molecule).

Hi Bill, Magnesium Chloride is available where I live, I bought it in a local drug store (sold by weight). It looks more crystalline than flaky and has an 'oily' texture to itthough, I'm guessing it might be from the sea. I just bought it recently and made Mag Oil and it is quite effective.

Is it ok to mix EDTA in the 1 liter of water with the 1/4 tsp Borax or will the EDTA make the Borax useless by chelating it?

Is it ok to add H202 to the 1 liter of water with the EDTA too?

EDTA, Borax, H2O2
Posted by Bill (San Fernando, Luzon, Philippines) on 03/26/2010

Hi Joe...I myself use 1/4 tspn borax, a capful of hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 tspn sea salt and 1/2 tspn Epsom salts(Magnesium sulphate) in a litre of water as a daily drink. This combination is safe according to Ted's Remedy Combinations. See this link and read Ted's safe lists:

https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/remedy-combinations.html#TED

I don't use the EDTA therapy but there is a therapy called Chelox Therapy that combines taking hydrogen peroxide and EDTA by IV. The HP gets rid the arterial plaque from the large arteries and the EDTA gets rid of the plaque from the smaller capillaries. But I would be wary of taking EDTA and HP together or combined, since HP is a strong pro-oxidant and therefore quite reactive.

Not sure about combinations I'm using

I added some daily routines to my health regime after reading the benefits about them. I do ACV w/honey (1tbs. of each 2x daily), 2tbs. of blackstrap molasses 2x daily (1tbs. of a morning and the other 1tbs. at night)and finally 2tbs of VCO...once of a morning and then again at lunchtime. I have been doing this since the first part of December. I eat clean and exercise 6 days a week and am 60 yrs. of age. But, what is bothering me and would really appreciate some input and help is to help me figure out why 2 to 3 days out of the week I become so tired. I feel just worn out. I'm still working full-time. My eyes feel having that burning feeling when I close them and I just feel blah. The closest I can describe it is how you feel when you're trying to catch a "bug". Could it be the VCO, ACV or BSM? A combo of the three? When I did start taking the VCO, I felt terrible for about a month and I thought it was my body trying to rid itself of toxins. I started feeling better after that, but the past three weeks, the old symptoms have returned. Any insight would be appreciated.

reply to Sue.. I notice by your age you are postmenopausal, perhaps you should have a serum ferritin blood test for iron storage disorder This is a common genetic disorder which usually doesn't affect women much until after menopause.. Unfortunately men with this disorder build up iron levels from an early age and have much higher levels. The iron is stored in heart, liver, pancreas and brain, and even in the tissues and gives rise to heart attacks, diabetes, arthritis, liver cancer among other ailments. if you have the gene for this (it is quite common) it could account for your fatigue.. Apparently 90% of patients with this disorder first present with chronic fatigue. If so it could be that you are taking in a bit much iron. I have the disorder myself and limit BSM to 1 tsp day. It's worth checking out.. since I have been getting treatment (simple blood letting) My energy is better, sleep patterns improved and muscle and joint pains are greatly reduced.
