Hello,

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The doctor told me that it is a non-aggressive cancer. So the doctor suggested we periodically monitor it for changes.

I am 85 years old and the diagnosis is as follows:

Grade and score on the Gleason scale of 3 + 4, clinical stage T 2 and a PSA of 7.25 ng/ml.

I heard that MBCure (methylene blue) taken together with baking soda might make this cancer go away.

With 1 gram of MBCure and 100 ml of distilled water I can produce a 0.1 solution which seems to be recommended. With this formula I will have a total quantity of 100 ml of MBCure.

As my weight is 78 kg (172 lbs), I would like to know how many drops I should take each day to get a good result.

Also does it have to be taken with vitamin C and can it be taken and mixed with baking soda?

In addition, I would like to have your opinion on these products:

There is Deuterium-depleted water that can be consumed to reduce the Deuterium in our body to around 120 ppm.

There is also Zeolite Clinoptilolite which seems to be another product that can improve cancer treatment.

Thanking you in advance for your advice and for all the people who may benefit from your advice.

JC,

On the chance that you don't get the replies you are seeking, two other potential adjunctive treatments for PC is Melatonin and Berberine as discussed in the following links below:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33251599/

A relevant quote :

' This is the first demonstration showing that melatonin impedes metastasis of prostate cancer by suppressing MMP-13 expression in both in vitro and in vivo models. Thus, melatonin is promising in the management of prostate cancer metastasis and deserves to undergo clinical investigations. '

https://biosignaling.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12964-021-00723-0

A relevant quote :

' Recently, melatonin emerges as a prospective therapeutic agent with a series of beneficial effects on human cancers over a wide range of concentrations and tumor types. In this review article, we predominantly discuss the anti-tumor effects of melatonin on human PCa. The underlying mechanisms of how melatonin inhibits the growth and progression of PCa were related to the promotion of AR exclusion, activation of MT1 signaling, modulation of PCa metabolism, inhibition of angiogenesis, regulation of neuroendocrine differentiation, induction of apoptosis. Moreover, melatonin also exerts synergistic benefits while incorporating with other chemotherapeutic agents and is an effective adjuvant to androgen depletion therapy. Melatonin is also hopeful to be a noninvasive biomarker for predicting PCa since a low urinary melatonin level is highly correlated to the incidence of PCa. '

https://www.oncotarget.com/article/27757/text/

A relevant quote from the study :

' In a multivariate analysis, melatonin administration proved to be an independent prognostic factor and reduced the risk of death of PCa patients by more than twice (p < 0.0001). '

Another consideration is Berberine :

https://aacrjournals.org/mct/article/10/8/1346/91129/Berberine-Suppresses-Androgen-Receptor-Signaling

A relevant quote :

' Berberine inhibits prostate cancer cell growth and induces apoptosis. A, structure of berberine. B, BBR inhibited the growth of LNCaP. Cells were treated with various concentrations of BBR for 24, 48, or 72 hours. MTT assay was conducted to determine cell viability. The viability of control cells was set at 100%. The data plotted are mean ± SD; n = 8. C, BBR induced apoptosis in LNCaP. Apoptosis was quantitated by cell death ELISA in LNCaP cells treated with indicated concentrations of BBR for 24 hours. Data plotted are mean ± SD; n = 3. *, P < 0.05; **, P < 0.01. '

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8658774/

A relevant study quote :

' BBR has been shown to suppress the capacity of prostate cancer cells to spread and infiltrate, these cells being strongly metastatic [49]. The inhibitory activity of BBR resulted in a substantial reduction in the expression of a panel of mesenchymal genes that control developmental EMT. High BMP7, NODAL, and Snail gene expression in metastatic prostate cancer tissues is associated with shorter survival in patients with prostate cancers and offers potential therapeutic targets among the EMT-related genes downregulated by BBR [49] (Table 2). '

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6382680/

A relevant quote from this review :

' Importantly, the active ingredient of berberine has clear inhibitory effects on various cancers, including colorectal cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, liver cancer, and cervical cancer. '

I have always felt that topically applied colloidal silver (CS) with a DMSO primer to allow the CS to penetrate the skin and dermal layers in the area of the prostate would be useful, but it is only speculation on my part so I can't even recommend it, just me thinking out loud.

Is there a use-by date for Methylene Blue? I bought a 250 ml. bottle about 12 months ago.

Swine Flu

Posted by Ted (Bangkok, Thailand) on 07/22/2009

... I have encountered a person who was dying from swine flu, pretty much the doctors have given up. Tamiflu simply didn't work both as prevention and in advanced cases of the swine flu, or the 2009 Viruses. The only thing that has helped this man in ICU was actually the hourly dose for 24 hour of 1000 mg of lysine. For weeks he was on high fever, and the only thing that can tame his fever was actually the lysine. When he did get better and body temperature became normal, the lysine dose was switched to 2000 mg every two hours, since every hour prevented him having long sleep. Lysine was fed via tube. Ideally the lysine dose can be spaced much further if there is no increase in any fever. Since this man was a confirmed H1N1, where it took a week to found out he did have H1N1, the swine flu ate away about half of his lungs, from excessive mucus, and the man was not able to breathe on his own, and has to be on an artificial respirator. As a result, the excessive mucus was controlled with 4 tablets of chinese herbal supplements ganmaoling tablets, taken every 4 hours so it may again disturb his sleep schedule. Within the first hour, there were clear indications of reduced mucus, and it was this that ate away his lungs. His inability to breathe was placed on artificial respirator, as a result two more supplements needed to restore his normal breathing using methylene blue 0.1% taken at 2 drops one in the morning and two drops one in the evening. Since methylene blue did restore or return his breathing and was taken off the artificial respirator within the week, the methylene blue caused him to sleep less as he now has more energy. Therefore the dose was reduced to one drop in the morning and one drop at 12.00 p.m. Tamiflu was not helpful both as prevention and when people did have it since some were on tamiflu."

...

10. The Swine flu scare is not real.

It is real and the numbers are much larger then what authorities say. However the real scare is to spread it and for people to get vaccinated and then it gets deadly. It eats up the lungs over long term flu. I am as yet trying to fine a cure to restore lungs after they have been eaten away by the flu. What I am currently looking is the lysine, methylene blue and the Ganmaoling chinese herbal preparations.

The way the media in this country ran with the story, it did look like a hoax. And then so few cases were discovered despite the apparently urgent need for vaccines and face masks. And the people who succumbed to it were already ill. It has been said that other types of flu that hit do more damage and receive less media attention. It did look like a hoax, possibly an attempt to force the public to demand the borders be closed. Thank you for the clarification, Ted :)

Using Methylene Blue

Posted by Wydo (Ventura, Ca, United States ) on 08/26/2010

Hi Bill, I would like to try Methylene Blue. I trust the Methylene Blue but I am worried about other ingredients in the aquatic products. One of them has Sodium Benzaote and I don't know if this is toxic or not. Other products just don't list ingredients. You also mention vitamin C and I would like to know what kind I could use such as sodium ascorbate. Can you mix the vitamin C in the water with the Methylene Blue? Thank you for you time Bill, in advance.

Hi Wydo... There are few problems with Methylene Blue(MB) bought from aquatics shops. Fish are very sensitive to chemical toxins, and if the MB purchased at the aquatics shop started killing fish, no one would buy it anymore. Sodium Benzoate, as Ted has mentioned, is a deep acting viral killer and is quite safe to take in small amounts.

I buy Vitamin C as Ascorbic acid powder, which is the purest form. When you buy the Ascorbic Acid tablets, they add adhesive fillers which I don't like, because these fillers inhibit the Ascorbic Acid going into solution thereby inhibiting absorbtion into the body. The ascorbic acid powder is the purest and cheapest form you can buy.

To create Sodium Ascorbate I just add half a teaspoon of Ascorbic Acid to a glass of water and then add Baking Soda(Sodium Bicarbonate) -- Arm & Hammer BS is fine -- to this mix until the fizzing stops. Now you have Sodium Ascorbate in solution -- in its most absorbable form. Then I just add the drops of 0. 1% Methylene Blue(usually 3 to 8 drops depending on your needs) to the Ascorbate or Vit C solution and just drink it down.

Hello again Bill and thank you for your information. I just have one more question. Could you please tell me if you can mix the Methylene Blue with vitamin C powder in the same glass of water?

Hi Wydo... Yes, mix them together. Add the Ascorbic acid to the glass, then add water and mix into solution. Then, if you can, add the Baking Soda, or Sodium Bicarbonate to this solution to make it alkaline(in order to preserve the bicarbonates in your own body). Now, just add the drops of Methylene Blue. This mixture is taken outside mealtimes.

I found out the hard way. Methylene blue is sometimes deliberately contaminated with arsenic, possibly to prevent us from benefiting from a safe effective product. The type I bought had a warning label not to be used in food producing fish. I called the store I bought it from, they said it did not have arsenic. This was a lie.

I suffered greatly from severe arsenic poisoning. I wish there was a way to be sure the source was pure, because aside from the arsenic, methylene blue was great stuff.

HI

I really need methylene blue since I have a genetic disorder(Methemoglobinemia)

But I cant seem to find a way to purchase it because it is not available to buy in my country.

Is there any way you can help me with that. Thanks

EC: Have you tried going to your local aquarium supply store or online? They should all carry it. MB is added to tanks to prevent superficial fungal infections of fish.

Here's an example of such a product on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00025646W/ref=psdc_2975478011_t1_B002YE5X16

Heavy Metal Detox: There is a company that produces Methylene BLUE that also produces a product called Rid Metal for eliminating heavy metals in aquariums. I emailed to ask how toxic (if at all) their products are to people, and asked for ingredient lists. The 4 ounce bottle of Methylene BLUE says it is a 2.303 percent solution, and adds that it is zinc free, but it doesn't say what other chemicals are in it. The bottle cautions that it "is toxic to plants and is harmful to biological filtration, preventing nitrification and resulting in a rapid rise in ammonia and/or nitrite levels.

The response to the inquiry is (truncated): "For use in aquarium and ornamental pond keeping the K----- products Methylene Blue and Rid-Metals are safe to use by humans who follow the printed instructions in the proper use of these products.

K----- Rid-Metals is a water conditioner that eliminates heavy metals in the water. It does not eliminate heavy metals in the fish. Therefore, as a water conditioner, Rid-Metals is meant as a preventative to eliminate heavy metals before they can become a problem to fish and aquatic invertebrates.

The Kordon brand Methylene BLUE concentration from the pet store here is 2.303%. The product's Website says:

"SPECIFICATIONS
Contains zinc free, chloride salt of Methylene Blue. Provided as a 2.303% water solution."

Is this the correct product?

I was looking for a very pure MB solution - not one found at at aquatic store - which are supposedly loaded with arsenic and other impurities So I found a supplier today here in the USA and would like to include her email answers on the purity of their product. EC, hope this is OK.

Hey,

We always vet products with independent testing. Here's the test result for the current batch of methylene blue: https://www.bluebrainboost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/methylene-blue.pdf

It's over 100% when it's more pure than the reference sample from Sigma Aldrich. The actual purity is probably between 99-100%.

Does anyone know of a Canadian source for methylene blue? I've searched aquarium and science supply websites, but can't find anyone willing to ship to Canada.

Also: my husband has used both glutathione (intravenous and also as an inhalant) and low-dose naltrexone (not at the same time) for Parkinson's. Each was very effective for about a year.

Methylene blue is from an aquarium supply shop or online. That is how I buy ours.

Ted here on earthclinic says that to balance and treat fish and tanks it must be high quality and effective. I have found this to be true. Janet
