I have been struggling with a ongoing sinus congestion causing severe headaches on waking and thick drainage down the back of my throat for almost 3 months. I had been taking over the counter remedies but had resigned myself to a trip to the doctor for something stronger to knock out what I believed to be a low level sinus infection; it wasn't clearing up and today was worse than ever when I woke up. I remembered reading about honey and cinnamon remedy for "something" so thought I would look to see if there were something for sinus problems. On your site I found a remedy - 1/4t cinnamon with 1Tbl honey. Well, I tried it and within 15 minutes I could feel the pressure lightening, the drainage becoming thinner and less - I feel wonderful! I am not often moved to write a comment, but I just can't keep this one to myself - Thank you so much!

I was reading your cure for acid reflux - ACV - and wanted to add one of my own. Cinnamon sticks simmered in water for about 20 minutes or until they make a 'tea'. I put 6 sticks in a regular size stove top kettle. Drink hot or cold - usually a juice glass full will remove acid reflux instantly, if not repeat. It ALWAYS works!! Also delicious! Many other health benefits too!

I too have osteoarthritus Since I have been taking the honey and cinnamon I have had wonderful results that I never had with ANYTHING else I've tried I had a limp for 4 months was taking 10-12 Ibeprophen a day just to walk without so much pain! Since I've been taking it for two weeks my limp has dissapeared and no longer take any nsaids at all- honey and cinnamon has been a GODSEND to me.

I'm not saying everyone will have the same results but if it can just help one more person as much as it has me, I recommend TRY IT OUT

I sprinkle powdered cinnamon on my oatmeal every day, and include it in every recipe that it works with. The bedbugs don't bite me anymore. They have all died of starvation. I figured that if bedbugs hate cinnamon, then why not get it into me, to make it even more effective. It's tasty, and good for you, too. I ingested some cinnamon every day for about three months to totally get rid of the bugs. WARNING: We're only talking about the powdered cinnamon that you buy from the spice shelf at the grocery store. (NOT the concentrated oils in Rest Ease which would be highly toxic.)

I battle cystic acne in spurts. I went to Arizona for 3 weeks and had no breakouts. I came back to Texas and bam...at least 10 cystic acne bumps in 2 weeks. I realized that these breakouts occur a week before or during my period. I found this website and began trying everything, airborne tablets, turmeric, coconut oil spearmint tea, and even urine therapy. Nothing gave results. The coconut oil seemed to smooth the rest of my skin but did nothing for the cystic acne. I began looking elsewhere and here is what is finally working for me:

When I first feel the cyst tingling I began to ice it (15 seconds on and off), which seems to help it considerably. Then at night I take a dime size amount of unrefined raw (thick) local honey mixed with the same amount of organic cinnamon and make a paste. I put it on my cysts overnight. Day 1 the cysts didn't hurt anymore and swelling decreased by 50 percent and by day 2 it is pretty much gone! All that remains is redness, no knot underneath the skin anymore!!! What a blessing!

I warm about a cup of water in microwave for a minute. Then, I add a tsp of ceylon cinnamon and a tsp of honey and drink on empty stomach in the morning and again before bed.

The arthritis/swelling in my wrist goes away within half an hour and stays away for about 12 hours! I can't recommend it highly enough."

3-6 grams is more like 1-2 tsp of cinnamon.

Sitting in the sun for calcium is true but it would give you only vit d3, you would need magnesium and importantly vit k2 mk7. This puts calcium into the bones as opposed to the soft tissues, arteries etc.

I read all your remedies using a teaspoon or more of cinnamon a day, but then when I did an internet search, I found all sorts of wanrnings about long-term usage of cinnamon. There can be a real danger of liver damage. I'm a big fan of honey for helping lose and maintain weight loss. i have been drinking honey and cinnamon tea for about a month and have lost 10lbs i don't really change anything about my diet, however i noticed somedays i do eat less and do not have the munchies, but somedays i will pigout and not gain any weight,,, i drink it mainly at nite, and sometimes in the morning if i have time,,, i do add a ginger/honey flavored tea to it to mask the taste of the cinnamon and honey

recipe, i put in two shakes of cinnamon
one spoon of honey to taste, if it doesn't taste good you're not going to drink it, so adjust accordingly and use a tea that is to your taste,,,

it is important to use ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum Zeylanicum) not cassia cinnamon (Cinnamomum Cassia) because ceylon cinnamon only has .004% Coumarin and cassia has 5% Coumarin. Relatively small amounts of coumarin can damage the liver of particularly sensitive individuals.

i also found if i used pure raw unprocessed unfiltered honey the results were much faster,,, raw unprocessed honey is not runny and is in a solid state much like butter.

Essential Oil Inhalation cure for Bronchitis, Sinus Infections, Pneumonia

I regularly get sinus infections due to a deformity in one of my sinuses. Until a few years ago when I found this cure I had regular bronchitis and lastly in 2005 I had serious pneumonia. I opted out of health insurance years ago so I had to take responsibility for my own health.
I got onto one of those $39.95 sites with the magical cure but this one WORKED! So here it is for all of you.

The following essential oils are 89% antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal. Cinnamon, Clove and Oregano. First, get the best quality you can.

These oils work magic together BUT, you can use just one or a combo of two if that is all you can get. Put 2-3 drops of each oil in a steamer or a steaming pan of water. BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET THE OILS ON YOUR SKIN...They burn. Cinnamon and Clove burn. (Cinnamon Oil is the main ingredient of all those lip plumpers :-) Now, inhale the steam with your eyes closed and take it in as deeply as you possibly can, breathing through the nose and the mouth alternately. Marion from Riverside, California: I would do the honey and cinnamon in the morning, and the ACV and baking soda at bedtime. My reasoning? We are most acidic in the middle of the night, so the ACV and baking soda would be most apt then to help mitigate any acidosis conditions that may develop. Honey and cinnamon helps satisfy me in the morning and quell my appetite (Thanks EC!!! ). If Honey is a prob because of glucose level for you, try ACV and cinnamon in the morning. The 'famous' ACV brand also makes an apple cinnamon drink, which is delightful, like apple pie in a bottle! Hope this helps you.

Hi, I used a honey and cinnamon remedy that I heard about from my friend. If you use about a table spoon of raw honey in a cup of warm water (hot will kill the enzymes) and some cinnamon (I don't know exactly how much to use, I just use a couple shakes from the shaker). It speeds up your metabolism, I've lost a little weight, I have yet to weigh myself, but I can already tell, so I suggest trying it.
