I am 54yrs old. I have had a couple of injuries that continued to cause me pain in my neck and left shoulder. Also diagnosed with Degeneritive Arthitis in my neck, probably due to injuries. I was in so much pain in the morning, so stiff I could hardly move. Also pain thru out the day. I was miserable. This has been going on for approx. 6 yrs.
I came across this web site and read the many comments for BSM and ACV. I figured it couldn't hurt me any more that it already did. After using this formula, 2tsp of each in 6-8oz of warm water, 2x a day, on the 2nd day I was almost pain free. I got up that morning and I wanted to dance for joy!!! I am 65 years old and I had a severe hip injury 6 months ago and had great pain in walking and sitting. After taking hot baths with 2 cups of apple cider vinegar at bed time and showering clean then soaking myself in H2O2 I was able to walk and sit like a normal person the very next day.

I had extreme shoulder pain and limited movement as Little Wing described in a 2012 post on Magnesium Oil. Had also been looking into surgery, and had begun the process of having X-rays taken, when I remembered that we used to do arm circles in gym class for a warm up.
These arm circles are like this: hold your arms out to your sides, palms open, fingers extended. Begin rotating your arms in small circles. After doing this each night for a month, all of my movement limitations were gone!
For the pain, I saw in a video on YouTube to hold your arms out in front of you, clasp your left wrist with your right hand, and push your hands forward/ahead of you. Do the same thing, but overhead this time. Doing this for a month loosened up my shoulders and removed all pain!
For those who have foot pains/leg pains I have been using Arnica cream and the tiny lil Arnica pills (dissolve in mouth), also I am back to drinking Apple cider vinegar too and it helps too.. But the Arnica cream and pills are a quick fix and a great substitute for Advil, Aleve and or Tylenol.. My favorite is the Arnica cream because I take a lot of vitamins by mouth already, but sometimes I do take the lil Arnica pills too.. You can take the lil Arnica pills with the cream also.. Works for me especially at nite and with walking during the day.. I am also on a forced regiment of drinking enough water.. You know as we get older and wiser we tend to loose our tastebuds for thirst so must keep muscles, body, brains ect. hydrated!! Love this earthclinic website!!!!!!!! Hope this helps you too!!
I was discussing a very simple mixture on another forum for topical pain relief that is easy to make and fairly effective so I thought I would mention it here since many people here at EC probably already have the ingredients.
The mixture is coconut oil and eucalyptus oil. I am not a big fan of the smell of eucalyptus oil so I thought I would not like this topical that initially smells much like Vicks, but what I found is that the smell faded away in about 5 minutes and seemed to work fairly well as a topical pain reliever. It is warm right now so my coconut oil is in a liquid state which made it easy to mix with the eucalyptus oil. I just used 15 drops of eucalyptus essential oil in about a half ounce of coconut oil. I just mixed it and applied it so I don't know how lasting it is, but so far it seems to be working fairly well and I can't smell the coconut oil or eucalyptus oil. Also, the eucalyptus oil seems to help the coconut oil soak in quickly which means that it doesn't leave you feeling oily or greasy by the time the smell goes away! It also leaves the skin nice and smooth!
I suspect this may be useful for other things like sinus issues, but you can just let your imagination go to work!
I was suffering unexplainable joint & muscle pain and, at least, 70% of my pain disappeared when I eliminated Aspartame in my diet. I have done great research on Aspartame and it poisons people. All diet products contain Aspartame and it is in over 5000 food and beverage products.

To say I was horrified as I read all the info about aspartame on this website is an understatement!! I too was a diet coke drinker for years, anywhere from 2-5 a day. In the spring of 2004, I began experiencing severe pain in my left heel. As it got worse, I got a cortisone shot. The first shot worked great. However, about 5-6 months later when I started hobbling around again (I teach in an elementary school and am constantly on my feet)the second cortisone shot did not work. I used to use castor oil to treat carpal tunnel syndrome acquired during my previous employment. Or was it aspartame poisoning? Anyway, the castor oil worked really well--I massaged the foot every day for over 6 months, and then I read something in our local paper's "Ask the Doctor" column about a woman who had burning and pain in her feet, and she quit drinking diet coke. So did I, and lo and behold my symptoms started disappearing. I made the mistake of drinking a couple of diet sodas with Splenda (after reading all this I see that's not such a great idea either), and while the symptoms haven't been as proounced, I'm going to quit those too. I still massage my foot about every two weeks or so, and, oddly enough, the pain has moved from my heel to the top of my foot around the ankle area. I'm hoping all this will go away once I've eliminated splenda also. Thanks to everyone who took time to write---what an eye-opener!!
New to this site! A lot of posts re Lycopene? I have two tomatoes in my salad every evening, but am experiencing pain in my legs! This apparently is caused by the lectins in the core and skin
I have switched now to canned whole peeled tomatoes, and the leg pains have decreased markedly.
It is also worth noting that "force fed " tomatoes have a larger core and thicker skin.
Arm and Hammer baking soda for pain. .....
I take 1 teaspoon in the morning, noon, night with 8 oz of water mix well until glass is clear. If. I have pain I add the same dosage every two hours.
For constipation and relief of muscle and knee pain, I take half a teaspoon of baking soda when I get up in the night to void. It produces results soon after getting up for the day, muscle pains are much less and after doing this for several days my knee pain is gone. There is no happiness like an empty rectum. I'm 82.
About a month ago I got out of bed one morning and couldn't walk very well. There was a continual dull pain in my upper left hip area that turned into a shooting pain whenever I tried to walk. It was quite painful and, much more annoying, prevented me from going on my walks every day.
I had a think and then took the following supplements:
A decoction of Makabuhay (Tinospora cordifolia) -- Also known as Gudduchi in Ayurvedic medicine. Took it to get rid of the pain -- worked a treat as usual. This is the best remedy I have for any inflammation or pain problems in the tissues. Half a glass of the decoction, with water and fresh fruit juice, twice a day. Very bitter.
Alpha Lipoic Acid (300 mgs twice a day with food)-- To heal any nerve problems.
Lugol's iodine -- 8 drops a day to kill any involved pathogens. Also helps to heal bone problems like osteoporosis.
MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) -- To heal tissues problems and to reduce pain and inflammation. One teaspoon (5 grams) a day.
Brewer's Yeast -- One tablespoon a day to heal the nerves.
Borax (1/4 tspn per day in water) -- To kill any pathogens involved in any arthritic or rheumatic problems. Also balances hormones and removes fluoride from the body.
Magnesium Oil (sat solution of magnesium chloride) -- 10 drops twice a day to help heal bone/tissue problems.
This is how I took the supplements.
Took the Makabuhay first thing in the morning and last thing at night on its own. This remedy was free from my own garden.
Mixed Borax, MSM and Sodium Bicarbonate(1/2 tspn) in a large glass of water. Taken once a day. Sipped this throughout the day. Occasionally added magnesium oxide(1/4 tspn) to this mix for higher alkalinity. Taken outside mealtimes.
Drank lots of water.
Took Magnesium oil, Brewer's Yeast and ALA at mealtimes with a glass of water. If I got the ALA burning sensation after a meal -- I just took a glass of sodium bicarb with water (1/2 hour after the meal) which would get rid of this problem in minutes.
Lugol's Iodine -- 8 drops a day in a glass of water outside mealtimes on its own.
This protocol has worked well and the pain in my damaged hip has all but gone now but I'll be staying on this protocol for another month at least just to make sure.

My mother has suffered from back, knee and body pain for more than 10yrs. She had to have surgery on her back 7years ago to ease the pain and she was fine for a few years. She recently began to get the pains again and this time she had knee swelling as well. She would wake up at night very sad and in pains. Sometimes she would shed a few tears of frustration as she didn't want to have another surgery.
One night, unable to sleep from the pain, she suddenly remembered that a neighbour had once told her about a boy who had leg swellings that defied conventional medicine so his family decided to mix equal parts olive oil and black seed oil and rubbed on his swollen legs and he was healed. My mother remembered she had both oils on her dressing table so she got some, mixed and rubbed on her her and knees. WOW! She said that the relief was almost immediate. She said she was asleep in less than half and hour and even over slept the next morning! She hasn't looked back since.
She told me this and I was happy for her but didn't really think about it until I also had serious back and leg pain from walking around so much and lifting heavy suitcases while on a holiday. I have used it since then too and have been very satisfied.
My husband used the mixture on his swollen calf two days ago and the pain and swelling was down by half after just a few hours. As of this evening, all swelling is gone and the pain is less than 10%. Just google Black Seed oil and its benefits. Its available in most health store. It's an ancient Aran/Asian medicinal oil.
My doctor indicated my right knee had a meniscus degenerative tear, I even got a second opinion and surgery was recommended. I was tired with the pain killers and I wanted also a natural form of calcium. A friend suggested I use Blackstrap molasses... I take a teasppon every morning before breakfast. I hardly experince pain, I have lost a few pounds and I feel great. Blackstrap molasses has add wonders to how I feel on a daliy basis... It is a renewed feeling. I have not done surgery.
I am new to using BSM...4 weeks ago had an MRI which showed I had a torn meniscus in the right knee, along with arthritis. Orth doctor said at this time, there is no need for surgery. He recommended I take 500mg of calcium a day to help heal the knee and help the bones. This got me very down because I am very active. I have been taking molasses in warm milk and agree it is like a latte. It really tastes good. Also, my leg pain has lessened and I can go up stairs and walk much better. I am also taking the vinegar and baking soda which I didn't think was doing much, but when I added the molasses drink I think it made a big difference. (My doctor says I have very bad arthritis. This is the first relief I have had. These remedies are highly recommended by me.
