For mold the best thing is to stop all sugars. Eat raw foods that are organic. Eat lots of green vegetables and make sure they are rinsed with white vinegar. Look for a detox regime that will help get rid of mold. Wash all clothing, sheets and towels with an odor eliminator and get a good quality air cleaner for the home. Get a water purifier for your shower and drink bottle water that is alkaline. Take supplements that will strengthen your immune system, that's key. Drink some organic chlorophyll follow instructions on bottle. Soak in Epsom Salt and with a little ACV. I hope everyone gets some relief. Prayer helps too and getting close to God.

You may want to take natural cures because steroids aren't the only thing to take. The 3% ammonia should work in a bath, as well as in washing clothes. I have found that tinctures such as Jojoba, Oregano Oil, Olive Leaf, Argon Oil, Grapefruit Seed, Kalmegh, Coconut oil all help. You can add these to tomato juice. Wipe down all surfaces with Colloidal Silver solution (Fungicide/viruside/anti-bacterial). Get an air cleaner with very good filters down to .003 microns. Get full testing and Infrared Thermography to check hot spots for mold and mycotixins. After remediation, get clothes cleaned environmentally with OZONE. Take lots of vitamins and little sugar. These things should help.

I tried the Horsetail Extract for Silica for healing but experienced absorption problems and irritated colon. Eventually I tried Diatomaceous Earth with other minerals in footbath with healing results.

So, another good natural source of Silica is Diatomaceous Earth.

Think about trying bamboo capsules. After taking too numerous remedies to count for severe health problems (several), I have improved dramatically with silicon. Best natural source with the most silica is bamboo, then there is also horsetail. There is also organic silicon, but it is rather expensive to me. So the two I have taken are: bamboo capsules and organic silica from horsetail. For myself, I have taken the bamboo capsules 1 - 4x daily or the silica 3 - 3x daily. Actually, I have doubled that dose for awhile. That is about equal to the same amount of silicon in each product. Bamboo has the highest silicon of any natural product. This is taking more than the bottle label says, but I am going by the daily dose of silicon recommended by the manufacturer.

In general, there is 25 mg silicon in 50 mg of silica. For me, silicon is a wonder. I know it is promoted to be for hair, skin, and nails, but for me, I think it is an answer for cancer, mold, fungus, mercury poison, and lyme. I just had to take more than the label dose. I realize different things work for different people, but I truly believe in this for me.

Hello! I couldn't help but notice the testimony on here pertaining to internal mold removal and which products to use.

To make a long story short, I had to leave an apartment due to horrendous water damage and mold. I was a tenant for six years! The last week there was fairly hellish. I awoke early to feel something heavy and inflamed on my tongue. Lo and behold, it was my right tonsil.

At the emergency room, I was diagnosed with viral pharyngitis. It took quite a few days for the steady decrease in size but it hasn't returned to its normal size. My doctor, an environmental illness and mold expert, is a great doctor! Mold allergy is serious can be fatal There are so many pathways in the body that are disrupted, and how the body reacts is shocking. A doctor of this caliber knew instantly how to deal with this mold/mycotoxins poisoning. For example I had a fired up parasympathetic nervous system caused heart palpitations, heart was beating so hard my body would shake, and I had tremors. I saw two cardiologist that gave me two different diagnosis. The underlying cause for my heart issue was mold poisoning.

It is best to move from mold house, and do not return even after remediation.( Believe me I know how hard it is to leave your home, but it so not worth it when you might die from mold exposure).Because your more likely will react, statistically that has been the case . Do not cross contaminate your new house with items from items from your old house.

Take several binding agents, because different binding agents bind to different types of mold! I took cholestyramine and few other binders. I did saunas, colonics, and several detoxifiers. I was also on specific kinds of IV's for releasing the mold toxins in the tissues, causing faster detoxification. Also injections into the ganglion centers was offered to reset the body and help the parasympathetic system.

Move out! Asap! If its in ur hvac then the mycotoxsin from the black mold have probably gotten in your belongings as well. Mycotoxsin are very dangerous to your health they are extremely toxic. I'm dying of long term & acute exposure to massive amounts of Aspergillis, Stachybotros, and various Cladosporium.

Have too many fungal infections to list and even though I cut my hair short every time I wash it I lose a ton and it breaks, and every morning all I have to do is shake my head and a cloud of fine dust-like cotton flies around.

Ive tried so many of the things mentioned here but can't find a doctor who knows or cares - even though I knew what the problem was I was almost hospitalized psychiatrically.

I realize some time has gone by TN222222, I have become a bit of a mold expert out of nessesity and bleach does not kill mold. mold and bleach both have a positive charge, you need something with a negative charge to deal with mold. Bleach kills bacteria and bleaches mold but does not kill mold. "Clear Amonnia" (it says clear on the label) is what you want. It has a negative charge and will kill mold. This was taought to me by a pathologist Dr William Croft. 2 cups in full load laundry should take care of clothes or anything that will fit in the washer. in a spray bottle 50% water 50%amonnia to spray smaller arias, please note you still have to remove all contaminated materials, once the area is gutted and cleaned than spray again. Of course I am not reccomending anyone clean mold themselves but small areas, issues with mold throughout the rest your life this can come in handy. I periodically wash my clothes with amonnia to freshen. Just dont breathe it in:)

Lauriciden, Olive leaf extract, Colloidal silver, oregano oil are some of the best antifungals and probiotics.

Please apply 3 coats of bleach (1/4 cup bleach powder in 1 quart water) on all the walls/ceilings/furniture/everything to kill the fungus. Then, scrape of the whole paint of the walls, ceilings. Re-paint with borax mixed in the paint.

Our compound is 10 years old and has five floors, each level at one time or another has been ravaged by black mold. Water leaks from the roof and leaky plumbing in units has exasperated the problem along with no treatment for years. Ongoing employee illnesses are all the same as exposure to black mold symptoms. The top two floors are covered in black mold now and in our units mold creeps in. Wish I could attach a picture.

Will borax eliminate this type of severe mold issue? After a year of no response the company will now apply borax. The AC system is infected. I am really asking can this type of chronic mold infestation be addressed or is moving out the solution?

Few more things I've learned working with specialized doctor regarding mold poisoning - Taking Cholesyramine carries mold/mycotoxins out of the body. The broken cell wall chlorella does the same thing; take it an hour away from food. Avoid taking it at night, might keep you awake I read the broken cell chlorella maybe very be superior to cholesyramine. Also for sinus issues, consider distilled water mixed with 1/2 tsp xylitol mixed with few drops SSKI and 2 to 3 drops liquid dmso in a neti pot; it breaks the biofilm down and attacks the infection.

I tried Dr. Shoemaker's protocols with a Dr. trained by him. I got MUCH worse. I found that colonics, coffee enemas, getting a portable IR sauna and doing veggie smoothies has helped. Also, things that bind toxins in your stomach to help move them out, like bentonite clay. I tried the hi-pro, low carb diet and got MUCH worse. Both Dr.'s I'm seeing now said that's a bad idea. Proteins are harder on the body and slow down assimilation and detoxification. I'm better now, but still have MCS and can't eat a lot of things. Still, most days I can think!! I read that women are 4x more likely to get adverse reactions to toxins like mold than men because of lower testosterone. Hmmm. I got my testosterone tested because I'm in perimenopause. ZERO. No testosterone. So I'm going bio-identical. Hope tht helps. BTW, if you do a home sauna, cover it w/ towels and wash often as the mold will get in it.

I found healing with whole foods by Paul Pitchford the most amazing book of all time. Although he rely's on cooked food. If you're fighting any disease you need more of a diet like hippocrates health institutes diet. I have cancer and massive candida and I am addicted to carbs. When I eat 3 salads a day and drink wheatgrass juice twice daily along with green juices I see the tumors go down to nothing. Also I use massive amounts of barley grass juice. Also taheebo tea!!!! Is the greatest anti bacterial, anti microbal, anti cancer herb out there. There are thousands of enzymes that go to work in barleygrass juice. they kill the fungus. The only problem with this approach is there is a massive die off reaction. You will be sick for a week or so. Use a good probiotic seperate from taheebo tea because taheebo tea will kill the good bacteria. Also they sell bee farm bee propolis extract 1000. Propolis is nothing short of amazing. Silver edge sells a great colloidal silver maker for cheap (truly a life saver).

These people are expressing their sadness and the facts. They're not just rants. Add another 8 yrs onto the woman crying with her mother for all her suffering for 13 yrs and she might not have any friends & family left, missed the boat for having her own family, some people cry for just that alone, & she might have become so allergic she has to live by herself in a car.I found where Ted has written about hydrocarbons; tiles and carpets so he believes it is possible you can't live around building materials and that the liver is compromised. The electrical made me much worse. I was probably too toxic. Taking Chlorella is one of the best binders, and taking activated charcoal is another binder that my MD recommended to me. Along with Pectaclear detox. Cholestyramine is great, but I really prefer Chlorella since Chlorella is a natural binder .

I had a re-exposure to mold at a newer hotel we stayed at so I took a bath with a couple tablespoons of ammonia ... I did wear eye goggles while I soaked in the bath. This helps

I noticed now that so many places have water leak issues and /or mold so be mindful of hotels, restaurants, the work place, car, even going to old antiques stores or an old historical building can now trigger issues.

Precious Robyn: So sad you are dealing with so much! (Cyber hugs to you! ) And, sorry I am coming to this conversation so late!

Yes, stay away from apple cider vinegar, even the very best brand, as it is fermented! For me, after my very recent mold exposure, ACV was one of the things I was using to treat the symptoms (I broke out in a horrible case of hives---excruciating! ), totally unaware I was only feeding the problem!

I also can not eat naturally fermented sauerkraut, for the time being. That is really killing me, because I love the stuff! (And it was one of the things I purchased to help with the hives! ) Also, have to stay away from beer & wine, for the same reason.

I have done several things, including biofeedback (L.I.F.E. System), Bio-Electric resonance therapy & chiropractic. These 3, I feel, have been key for me. I feel the bio-electric resonance has done wonders for the mold issue. Another therapy, which I do not have access to currently, is RIFE treatments. Any of the better frequency-based treatments should prove beneficial, IMHO.

The bio-feedback session pinpointed some of the major contributing factors in my health crisis, including the fact that vinegar was excaberating the problem. (I can use distilled white vinegar with no problem. Use it in laundry & for household cleaning with no side-effects.)

Also, far-infrared will help. I used a friend's Bio-Mat and I feel that helped me as well.

I hope you can continue to explore ways to settle your body down, but I dare say that it is a daily challenge, since you have no place that is really 'home'. I am so hurt for you.....Hang tough.....Some of the best ways to heal our bodies do not cost all that much......And prayer does help, too......

We moved out of our house and I had been taking the cholestyramine. For some reason my recovery seemed really slow. So I started taking more activated charcoal and chlorella. Then I accidently stumbled onto something that was miraculous. I began to notice I felt so much better! Then I realized about 10 days ago, I had started drinking 2 to 4 cans of coconut water daily that was made from fresh coconuts (NOT dried coconut since dried coconuts has mycotoxins in it and since mold creates mycotoxins dried coconut must be avoided) So I called the company to ask them about the coconut water and it was made from fresh coconuts. On the can is C20 this is 100% natural. Apparently, coconut is anti fungal, anti-viral and anti-parasitic, there is a long list of it's miraculous effects.

I apologize, I left out of couple of important things. The item is called Gama Detox-FX is on Amazon . Drink oregano oil and olive leaf extract in water throughtout the day. Take high quality probiotics. A couple of other things to do is go on a anti-fungal diet or candida diet this diet; this stops the food source for the mold so they die. It took me many months to feel better but according to Shoemaker who is the mold authority he prescribes Cholestryamine which is supposedly the best product for mold poisoning. People on Cholestryamine generally feel better in two weeks unless you are severely ill so that is worth thinking about.

The only way that I know of to kill the mold/ spores. mycotoxins is ammonia . You must wiped down your stuff with water and ammonia, Wash your clothes with some ammonia. I have read about using thieves oil in a humidifier for kills spores, however I haven't seen the research behind it.

Once you're exposed to black mold and your body has a reaction to mold/mycotoxins then it is best to avoid it forever! I have read about taking a bath in like a 1/4 cup of ammonia I would wear protection Eye goggles if I was to do that, but I think it is too risky to me. The best thing to do to save your health is move out. It is suggested strongly to avoid re-exposure since the may cause permanent problems. My doctor suggested we move out of our house which we did. I washed all my clothes in ammonia, wiped all the furniture down and threw away tons of cloth furniture. Take Choleystramine four times a day; it is the most effective mold binder in the states.

An environmental doctor in Ann Arbor says to add a cup of 3% ammonia to your bath. And to bathe a few times per day. This along with a strict anti-candida diet and cleaning up your environment is supposed to do the trick. I am just embarking on this process so I can't testify to its effectiveness.

Oxine is used to clean mold from ductwork commercially, so if they use it to clean your ventilation/heating system you would be breathing what's left. Could you seal the area being fogged? Or you could mix it in a spray bottle and wet the surface? Then you could limit the amount you would breathe in. Personally, I would get a timer to turn off the humidifier and leave the area--what little (if any) remains in the air I wouldn't be concerned with. What's on surfaces degrades quickly into harmless elements (water, I think, but you could look it up). You have to balance the mold issue v the oxine.

I have been looking into Oxine AH for use in a humidifier because of mold in our home but I cannot find any information on if this is okay for human use. I know it is okay for farm animals though, since they use this method for chicken coops. Any help on this? Thank you!!

Because I've been homeless for 5 yrs because of severe chemical sensitivity & other extreme symptoms I had to consider mould. It is also one of my big allergants, amongst many many others. I tried cholestraymine for 2 mths. Mine had saccharine in it. But constipation was an even bigger problem than normal. So I thought I'd try charcoal. I've tried many enviro doctors but they are at a loss. Hope you are doing better. Vinegars - does this include acv? I have severe copper toxicity so coconut oil is a no go. But I can't find what can relieve the pain. I've known people wheel chair bound from mould. And someone who got better from cancidas IV daily - very expensive but she is now normal. No more living in a tent or in a car because you're allergic to all building materials. We can't get it in this country.

Be careful if you have pets in the home if you do some herbal bombs. It may be advised to mix w/ water in a spray bottle for topical application, but then again, household Ammonia cleaner would be best. And if the home or vehicle has been flood damaged, it would be almost necessary to do several days of Ozone shock while the place is vacated.

I we had hidden black mold in our new new house and I began to get ill slowy first itchy eyes, tiredness, sinus issues, rash, nausea, dry heaves, dizziness , weight loss, stiff neck, tremors, heart palpitations, shortness of breath , blurred vision my brain was misfiring like it was on fire brain fog memory loss, and flu like feeling at this point I was totally home bound. It seemed like I saw a hundred doctors they had no idea of the cause. Two years later the wall cracked from water leak and the reason of my illness was made clear. I had black mold/mycotoxin exposure and inhalation illness. Most doctors do not know how to assess , test, or treat myctoxoins / black mold illness so if you suspect that you have this illness find a specialist . I have an MD that is an enviromental specialist. and another MD that knows how to treat mold illness. First thing both doctors told me was to MOVE OUT of the house we did. One MD subscribes to Dr Shoemaker's method of taking cholestyramine (3- 4x a day) which binds to the mold /mycotoxins and gathers it and takes it out of your body. I believe there is an alternative to Cholestyramine . Dr Shoemaker mentions some other things that are very effective being used in other countries but it is not used in the states, of course big pharma got the market cornered here

This is what I gathered from both of these medical doctors. One is get on a fungal free diet which I felt was pretty close to the SCD diet. Stop all sugar, grains, dairy, vinegars, cotton seed oils, hard cheeses, coffee, alcohol, peanuts and anything made from DRIED coconut oil. The list is longer you can look it up on the web. Nuts have mycotoxins on them and need to be treated before eating I just avoided them altogether. Take a high quality best probiotics take on an empty stomach for greater efficacy. The SCD diet has the method of making yogurt that was recommended that I use . This diet was imperative in healing the body. This diet is literally starving the mycotoxins of their food source so they die.

The was also given Gamma Detox FX the MD gave this to me is a very powerful detox formula with 50% zeolite laumontie, 50% calcium bentonite. A rare form of calcium based zeolites called laumonite, a form of zeolite for gentle and full body detox. Medi-Clay is a quantum-state, rare desert clay (calcium bentonite benonite clay zeolites) binding agent that carries all the toxins out of the body.

I was also given a few other natural things by my MD ZeoForce ( zeolite) , Mycotoxin inhibitor x20 , and ACZ nano extra strength this is activated cellular zeolite spray

Interesting when I got sick I had super low ferritin/iron and I was taking supplementS but iron was not building up. Ted on Earthclinic, nailed it he said fungus eats iron. When I started iron IV'S I had been on a fungal free diet so I know that I was getting the iron not feeding the mycotoxins.

Now here is the catch apparently cholestryamine has sugar in it. Please be aware of this fact , a good compounding he pharmacy can make it sugarfree.

The efficacy for Cholestyramine seems superior , to many other binding agents .

A couple other things is taking charcoal pills, and drinking 1/2 tsp baking soda in a glass of water daily helps kills fungus so does a couple drops of oregano oil in water kills fungus , Grapefruit seed extract is also great antifungal. Borax 1/8 tsp in a liter of water is helpful , you can also get the pellets in homepathic dept of the store

In order to not cross contaminate our new enviroment . We put everything in storage. Moved into all wood floor home. Since ammonia kills mycotoxins before moving I wore glove and eye goggles and we washed all of our clothes with ammonia and wiped out the dryer and washer with ammonia. That kills the myctoxins, I wiped down all our leather furniture, wood tables chair with ammonia and water and we tossed all fabric covered furniture pillow blankets

Mold/ mycotoxin poisoning disrupts many of the body processes /pathways. It can become very complicated , very quickly I think it is important to find a someone that is specialist that can slowly bring you entire body back into balance.

So I'll answer from my perspective in case Bcnu misses your post.

Bcnu said she/he took CS for two days and ended the mold infection. If me, I'd take three times daily two tablespoons per dose for a month (on empty stomach and away from mineral supplementation). But if symptoms are gone in two days...great. Stop after you are sure the infection is killed.

My workplace flooded. After a week, they let us in to remove important/personal items. I had a stack of documents w/ red mold growing on them that I had to box up to send to be dried. I most certainly was exposed to mold of all sorts. How do I make sure I don't get a reaction? I'm sure some moldy items are now in our new location; don't know that there's any way to prevent that. I have wiped down all the surface that I can, but I can't control the other folks. What should I do to protect myself and detox what has already entered me?

Hi, I personally would not recommend taking Ammonia baths, particularly if you have Lyme. Ammonia is a neurotoxin left behind after killing Lyme along with Quinolinic Acid. I am very sensitive to Ammonia and when I get near an Ammonia bottle, I have head tremors. Most of us with Mycotoxin illness have faulty methylation due to mutations in our genes. Many of us already have too much Ammonia in our bodies because we have a faulty Ammonia and Sulphur detox ability. I would only use it to clean up mold on window sills or around the house, but remember our skin is one of the biggest organs and absorbs what we put on it.

Hydrogen peroxide is definately a cheap remedy for some tough illnesses. Got Black Mold in my lungs from living in an apartment with unforseen mold under the carpet. Hot water heater blew in the 2nd month and the maintenance man (sent over by the slum lord) sucked the majority of the water out but installed 2 blowers under the carpet to dry it out. When I saw the mold I told him straight up, "That's going to blow Black Mold into the air and we could end up getting mold spores from breathing it" I'm sure he blew me off like he does all the other apartments he maintains because his lips weren't moving but he said to himself, "ugh, .... Another hypocondriac."

3 months later, I was extremely ill. Hadn't even considered black mold yet, due to on going esophogus problems for 15 years. The doctors said the only way to tell is to do the endoscopy at $750. I paid for the intial visit, was able to get on a $25. Month payment plan and when the time came to go at 6am, the receptionist wouldn't adhere to my agrreement due to the fact that the business department didn't come in until 9. I panic'd due to the fact that I felt a 2nd round of pneumonia approaching, and my lungs were only taking in maybe 20% of it's capacity. I did my research and found that the only way to survive a combo like this ( I have a fantastic nurse practioner that actually listens, and admits, she learns too) was to prepare myself.
