I've had Lichen Sclerous (anal area) for 15 plus years and tried every remedy imaginable. The I read a blog on Substack by a Mid Western Doctor about DMSO. So I ordered a DMSO cream from Amazon and applied it to the affected area. To my amazment it seems to work, especially on the intense itching I had every night. Last night I didn't itch once. And the thick, infected skin around the area has thinned out and looks and feels better. Nothing I ever tried worked this good so I'm having a flicker of hope that this might get this nasty disease under control.
