In 2007 I had all the systems of Hepatitis C and had genotype 1. I searched for natural cures and found Colloidal Sliver. After taking Colloidal Sliver everyday for one year my Doctor said he could not believe it because he could find the virus in my blood test at all and that it was gone.

Can you please tell me if these cures are effective for Genotype 4 also? My fiance is Egyptian and they have a huge Hep C crisis there but its mostly genotype 4. About 50% of his family is suffering severely. Thank you.

BHT seems to be an effective treatment for ALL types of hepatitis C for many but NOT ALL people. Also: Those who keep or kept this treatment simple are those that had the best results. You have to try the BHT treatment to find out if it works for you or not.

If it works for you: You should see a rapid improvement in: Liver function tests and viral load count tests.

The recommended dosage is 250mg to 500mg of BHT with water on an empty stomach. Start with the 250mg per day and work up to the 500mg per day dosage of BHT. Very large or heavy people may need more: the same as any other medication.

Hi, I just want to thank all of you for this site. I was diagnosed with Hep C genotype 2 this past December and have a viral load of over 5 million. My abdomen has started to swell and my blood pressure is rising. Will BHT help with these symptoms or should I be taking complimentary products also?

My support system seems to have shut down right in front of my face. Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.

If one is taking selenium this concern is not as critical. Selenium easily binds with mercury keeping it from settling in organs. This same principle is true when it comes to mercury content in many fish. Many of the fish that have slightly high mercury content also have ample amounts of selenium making it highly unlikely that one will absorb mercury and become toxic.

Dan, You can use I-P 6 (phytic acid) and get your ferritin levels down...With ferritin levels down you enzymes will also go down. It usually works for about 30 points per months...Experiment with strength...

I would still not give up looking for a doctor that would give you monthly phlebotomies...there must be one doctor in Canada with ethics that would help your condition. Don't give up!

Suffering debilitating consequences of a twice compromised immune system, as evidenced by chronic viral, bacterial, fungal, and mycoplasma infections, I braved and fought as long as possible but continued deteriorating and started approx. 1.5mg Naltrexone Dec 13, 2014. Thanks to Mr .Ree and Rsw for the replies. Firstly, I have tried to get phlebotomies prescribed for me but with no success. There is no hemochromatosis in my genes as proven by lab work. I am in Ontario and it is almost next to impossible to try and get a physician to work with me on this. I even tried to show a specialist the clinical study proof of being bled to reduce ferritin levels which in turn will bring down ast and alt levels-wasn't interested. I've asked the same question of the Earth Clinic audience...whether anyone has had success with Hep B or C usings CS. I THINK CS works to kill all viruses but don't know that for a fact. So I just add to your request to ask the EC audience if anyone has used CS for Hep B or C...let us know your results.

Bonnie, I know this...IF I HAD HEP B OR C...I'd sure try the CS or a few months and monitor the results. Because I am convinced that it would sure be worth the minor effort of drinking CS a few times daily to get back readings one way or the other. Wouldn't take long to get an indication of effectiveness.

In 2007 I went on H202 Therapy and knocked out 18 million copies of the virus. It went from 23 million copies to 5 million copies. I didn't even finish the protocol because of the fasting that it takes in between meals.

I am back on the protocol again because I have been having some liver sensitivity and fatigue and already I am feeling better while only up to the 19 drops. It is also making my arthritic hips and neck feel better.

The protocol can be found at Educate-Yourself.org or I will be glad to email the protocol that I am using but they are very similar. In the protocol that I am using I am adding colloidal silver in the mix.

I just had my viral load down last week and I am at 5 million (and change) copies and will try to remember to post the results when available when I finish the protocol.

There is a woman on the low dose naltrexone (LDN) site who has kept her Hep C viral level low by using LDN and alpha lipoid acid. Many others have done the same thing on the Yahoo LDN site. She also says she keeps a high Ferritin level down by taking IP6 capsules, which will chelate iron from the body. This may give you an alternative if the BHT is a problem for you. An additional benefit of the LDN is that it has a high success rate for Crohn's disease, and is currently in Stage III trials. Have therapeutic phlebotomies...It will lower you ferritin and your enzymes as well...It will also remove some of the virus...I have found that it will lower both enzymes and ferritin significantly after each treatment...You want to get your ferritin in the 30 range regardless of what your doctor says...

At that level your enzymes will be close to normal...Of course Dr's know this...but...

Also, get checked for hemochromatosis...If you have both genes you have it...Then you can automatically be qualified for phlebotomies...

Is there anyone out there who had a bad reaction to BHT? I've had hep C for 40 years and I am heading into stage 3 liver disease. I have always self treated and seemed to keep the virus at bay. However, in recent years my levels have gone way up and my ferritin levels are in the 500 range. I am on blood pressure meds, (which I am not happy about). I tried the BHT at 2 x 250 per day and it made me feel ill. I cut back to 1 a day and after 2 weeks I couldn't think or hardly function in day to day activities. I want this to work but I seem to be allergic to it. Oh, I also have Crohn's disease. Any advice would be appreciated

I have hepatitis c. I recently took Solvadi-Ribaviron-Olysio for 80 days. I had a test after a month that said "Virus Undetected" and my enzymes were 22 and 26.They came down from 140 and 56.I got the same results a month later as in "Virus undetected and low enzymes again.I finished the drugs and had another test and the results were virus 155,000 and ALT 365 and AST 128.These drugs cost my insurance company $84,000.00.

The results are WORSE than I started out with. My doctor said, "Well the drugs weren't tested that long." I said, "but they were approved by the FDA for big money." Readers BEWARE!

I just recently went thru this treatment, and it worked for me. At the end of 12 wks there were no signs of the virus, and that was in July 2014. I will be retested for hep c in Jan.

You have to understand though every person and case is different. It will depend a lot on what stage you are in. All I can say is it worked for me, and trust your doctor.

Oscar suggests not to use any herbals while taking BHT. I asked him the same thing about taking a multi-vitamin with included herbals & he said to just stick with a standard multi with just vitamins & minerals.

I thought maybe using smaller herbal amounts that would be included in some multi's would be OK but he suggested not. It's best to not take a chance & just give the BHT time to see if it works for whatever you're using it for. Thanks & God Bless!

Dear Penny from Chico, I am glad to hear of improvement with BHT. But, it is very important that you stay with taking BHT on a daily basis. This stopping and starting the BHT treatment is NOT the way to get good results. Every time you stop the BHT treatment you are allowing the virus to spread to uninfected liver cells. I want to see you get well and stay well. It will probably take at least 2 years of daily dosing with BHT to be truly CURED. You are truly CURED when you test NEGATIVE with the HCV antibodies test. Testing NO VIRUS DETECTED is NOT being cured. That simply means the BHT treatment is working the way it is supposed to. Those viral load count tests are a blood test. The HCV and HBV viruses reproduce in the liver cells and NOT the blood cells. I know of people who got to NO VIRUS DETECTED with the viral load count tests using BHT and stopped the treatment. Those people ALWAYS relapsed eventually. The same is true for people using the prescribed treatments.

Like I said it takes at least 2 years of daily dosing with BHT to be truly CURED. Liver cells live on average about 200 days. One person did get CURED in somewhat less than one year. But he was very lucky. So stay with the BHT treatment UNTIL you test NEGATIVE with the ANTIBODIES test.

Most doctors do NOT know this. It seems obvious to me. But they are taught erroneous information about all this. I have been at this since 1997. The hepatitis C websites devoted to the conventional treatments are FULL of stories by people who got to NO VIRUS DETECTED with that viral load count test only to RELAPSE in a few years .

So, just keep taking the BHT like you have been and eventually you will be CURED. Keeping the treatment simple like you have been is the way to do this treatment. Just stick with it until you test negative with the ANTIBODIES test. That usually takes a few years....Oscar

I took BHT for three weeks in January and then again for the entire months of April and May. I am trying to cure Hep C. In June 2013 my viral load was 1,570,000 and in June 2014 my viral load is 1,000,074. My numbers had been increasing each year since 2006, so this is a great improvement. I didn't take anything but BHT.

Hi Bill, Thank you for the feedback. I am back on the Lugols and borax protocol for 1 1/2 days and my neuropathy is much better after stopping for just one day..

Next week I'm going on a 3 month treatment with Sovaldi and Olysio for my hepatitis c. Would you know or speculate whether I could stay on my iodine and borax remedy while on that treatment? Maybe it might even help my recovery...I'm an optimist.

Dear Rsw from Uniontown, OH, Thank you for your kind remarks. They do mean a lot to me. It is worth noting that what BHT can treat it can also prevent. By that I mean taking a moderate daily dose of BHT per day can go a long ways in preventing the many viral infections BHT is effective as a treatment for, from ever establishing themselves in a persons body to begin with. It is much easier to prevent a viral infection that it is to effectively treat one. Infections such as herpes are all to easy to catch. Oral herpes can be contracted from kissing someone with a sore on their mouth for example. And genital herpes can be contracted the obvious way. Your children may wish to consider that. And the different flu viruses and such.

This BHT stuff is for real. It does work when nothing else does. I have explained how at length. It is the right size to penetrate those lipid coatings so many viruses have. It is readily attracted to said lipid coating because of it`s high hydrocarbon content in the same way and for the same reasons oils do not mix with water. But, unlike vegetable oils it does not have a long hydrocarbon tail group and will NOT neatly fit in said lipid coatings the way the lipids that make up vegetable oils of all types do. BHT also has so called hot spots that compel these bulky metabolites of BHT to move about rapidly tearing the lipid coatings apart. I go on about this in hopes of educating people about BHT....Oscar

I'm going on Sovaldi, Olysio and Riboviron next week for my hepatitis c...It's a 3 month run. It has a success rate of 94% (so they say). Hi Diane...Using borax should be useful for peripheral neuropathy if the problem is fungal or if it involves mycoplasma. Borax should not cause problems with your liver .

Other supplements which might also help your neuropathy problem:

Alpha Lipoic Acid (300 mgs twice a day)-- helps against neuropathy, heavy metal chelation, removes poisons from blood, regenerates Vitamins A, C, E, D; regenerates Coenzyme Q10 and Glutathione as well. Strong liver supportive.

Milk Thistle(450 mgs twice a day) -- liver support.

Selenium(200 mgs twice a day) -- Generates glutathione for liver support. Glutathione is one of the master antioxidants for the body.

Take B50 complex once a day. The B vitamins are extremely beneficial for nerves, digestion, heart function etc.

Take B12 -- methylcobalamine -- on a daily basis. Also good for the nervous system.

Dear Art from Vancouver, It is great hearing from you. Please tell our friend Bigmac I have never forgotten him and never will. He was the strength that held the BHT cures groups together and without his support and dedication the BHT cures groups struggled along but eventually failed. This failure was probably not possible to prevent. Too many members whose reason for joining was always a concern. I am sure Bigmac understands the issues I am reffering to.

We did a lot of good and many people were cured and others did get much better if not truly cured. I am glad to learn you lost the weight you did. That diabetes is a very serious health concern and that is an understatement. We are about the same age and weight. I am having my own problems as a result of my well over 50 years of smoking cigarettes. The BHT helps but those cigarettes take a toll on your lungs and heart.

I am sad to learn that this shingles vaccine has caused new health problems. Timh reports the same with some vaccine he took. You really can not trust the medical establishment with many issues. Amazing to me that so many very bad mistakes are being made by people we should be able to trust.

The BHT 250mg that I have been using now for over two and a half years has made me feel a lot better and increased my energy, although it has failed to cure me of Hep-C. I have been monitoring your posts here and am encouraged to see you are helping a lot of people. My friend bigmac says hi as well.

Now I would like to update my condition. I am 67 years and have had to change my diet due to recently going from Borderline Diabetes to type 2 Diabetes, after taking R+NAC for 1 year. I was so bloated that I could no longer sit and tie my shoe laces and I was getting a lot of gut pain.

Turns out that I am Lactose intolerant and have to use Lactose free milk. As well I have had to stop eating all processed foods and all whites including breads and anything with Gluten in it. I was shocked to discover how much sugar they use. Now I eat a lot of Salads, chicken, pork, unsalted peanuts, Golden Delicious Apples with a dab of Sugar Free Peanut Butter on it, and eggs with Pears for breakfast. I hope I didn't screw things up. My last blood draw showed 51 ALT on my Liver function test and I will have another Ultra Sound on my Liver soon. As for my other aches and pains, they come and go just like before taking the BHT.

As for the Milk Thistle, I quit using it a couple of years ago after finding out that it can cancel other meds and herbs by trying to protect the Liver. I am glad I don't have to waste the precious little money I have on it.

I do find that if I feel a smidge sick over night that Ginger Root Extract cures that. I suppose I should take it ever day but don't.

If you are fortunate enough to have access to said treatments I see no reason not to use them. In the past I promoted using BHT. But you will NOT get the carefully monitored results if you go the BHT route. From what you stated you have been holding your own with the supplements you discussed. But that could and often does change, get worse. It seems to me well worth giving these new drugs a try. Your doctor will be carefully monitoring the results. What more can you expect or ask for....Oscar

I was diagnosed with hepititis c and cirrhosis about five years ago, I have been keeping it under control with green juices, diet and exercise. I have just been told by my doctor that I qualify for the latest drug on the market, Sofosbuvir, which is supposed to have amazing results with minimal side effects. What should I do?
