Apple Cider Vinegar -

I had an issue where I was actually leaking water. I went on line and did some research and realized that it could be caused by either a virus or infection. I was going to make a doctors appointment but first visited Earthclinic where people were reporting good results with ACV. I took three tablespoons of ACV mixed in a cup with warm water and honey and within 15 minutes the gurgling in my bowel stopped. Took another one half an hour later then went to bed.

Woke up the next morning and had a smooth bowel movement with no excess water. Half an hour later had another similar BM. Nice and smooth. Problem solved. Thanks to Earthclinic and everyone who posted.

I was in complete and total distress. I found myself the night before with food poisoning Im guessing. I have no idea what else could make me so violently ill. I felt fine when I went to bed...but woke about 11:30 pm with the most horrible pain in my stomach area which continued to get worse with each passing minute. Wound up with a succession of vomiting sessions within the next 6 hours. I had to be awake to call in to work at 6 am. I stayed homethat day and didnt really feel bad....but certainly not better rather puny and weak.

This morning, I got up to diarrhea of the watery kind. I knew I had to go to work no matter how I feel. They will fire you for more than 2 points on your attendence...and I already had 2 points....both due to a car problems. Next point would be termination. I sat here at my pc and found the info about diarrhea and the activated charcoal was what hit me as most important. I wound up at WalGreens Pharmacy this morning and found a bottle there. I took it just like someone I had read about this morning had taken it which was 2 capsules. I was so surprised that I didnt have any more bouts with diarrhea. I still didnt feel good and could hardly wait for 4 pm to roll around.

I am soooooo very grateful to Earth Clinic and all who put out there what worked best for them. If it hadnt been for this forum....I dunno where Id be. fired...maybe. Thank you again.

My children caught a highly contagious norovirus from the schools. Within 24 hours, everyone had liquids coming out of both ends, and nothing would stop it...imodium, acv, electrolytes, activated charcoal...all of it did NOTHING to slow this down. In desperation, I experimented on myself with 1 teaspoon of turmeric in a cup of hot water. I wasn't even halfway through the cup when I felt the spasms start to slow, and then stop altogether. Literally minutes before I had been drinking gatorade on the toilet, and it was coming out my back end just as fast. The turmeric takes minutes to work. It's now been 12 hours, and everyone here is doing well. Not one mad dash to the bathroom all day. And mild carbs (rice, coconut water, and bananas) are staying down. It tastes like peppery mud going down, but it is sooooo worth it.

My wife had a case of chronic diahhroeah. In the past, with loose or runny motions, one or two junket tablets, taken with a glass of water has done the trick. This time, not so lucky and after three days, went to the chemist - still nothing worked.

Finally at 5.30am this morning, remembered this site and had a look - apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons in a glass of water! My wife dislikes the taste of ACV, so I suggested she take it in a glass of flat lemonade. 15 minutes later - No diahhroeah. 10.30am had another dose and all seems fine.

Thank you Earth Clinic. Hope this helps someone else.

Three Month Bout Of Diarrhea Resolved With Ginger Root Capsules In Three Days

A friend recently told me she had been having stomach upset and diarrhea for over three months making it almost impossible to leave the house during those three months and her doctor had not been able to resolve the issue. I asked her why she waited so long to mention it and she said that she was thinking that the tea she was using was going to resolve the problem, but clearly it hadn't.

I suggested she try ginger root capsules, but she said she was already taking a combination tea that contained ginger root. I asked her how long she had been taking it and she said about 2 1/2 months. I asked if she felt it was helping at all and she said the diarrhea is still ongoing. I said that would suggest that the tea is not working.

I again suggested the ginger root capsules because they should have the needed potency to help her diarrhea and stomach upset. She reluctantly agreed to try the capsules. Here is a link to the supplement I suggested she try at the label recommended dosing schedule of 2 capsules per day :

https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Ginger-Root-550mg-Capsules/dp/B0019LRYHG/ref=sxin_15_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?content-id=amzn1.sym.dd72f1c7-655d-4b60-b1bd-fe74fe8a5924:amzn1.sym.dd72f1c7-655d-4b60-b1bd-fe74fe8a5924&crid=3PMTD6GUDQU14&cv_ct_cx=NOW+brand+ginger+root&keywords=NOW+brand+ginger+root&pd_rd_i=B0019LRYHG&pd_rd_r=2bb745e7-ebc0-41e1-965a-3eb32aa0e2b8&pd_rd_w=PNIFH&pd_rd_wg=du2q9&pf_rd_p=dd72f1c7-655d-4b60-b1bd-fe74fe8a5924&pf_rd_r=QNCKQSPYGHEPEEFQY42E&qid=1749073006&sbo=RZvfv//HxDF+O5021pAnSA==&sprefix=now+brand+ginger+root,aps,175&sr=1-97-f853d353-bf33-45e7-b5c2-2cb2b31abc9b-spons&xpid=GFY4LPR87DMPx&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9zZWFyY2hfdGhlbWF0aWM&psc=1

I also told her that if she didn't get relief from the diarrhea within five days she would have to go back to her doctor for more testing and diagnosis because three months of diarrhea is very unhealthful for her as it depletes the body of needed nutrients and fluids.

I didn't hear back from her for over a month so I contacted her and asked her how she was doing? She said after 2 to 3 days on the ginger root capsules her diarrhea was gone! She said she is still taking the ginger root capsules just in case. I told her it was fine because ginger root is also useful for diabetes type 2, insulin resistance, high cholesterol as well as raising HDL cholesterol and lowering triglycerides.

She said she is much better these days and able to go places again without fear of diarrhea popping up.

Apple Cider Vinegar for Diarrhea:

I agree with another writer who wrote this stuff is miraculous. It tastes bad, but the results are so amazing, I am happy to chug it.

I put 2T of apple cider vinegar--just the regular kind from my grocery store--into 6 ounces of water. I could feel the difference in about 15 minutes--this after four weeks of agony, and countless doses of probiotics, vomiting and diarrhea.

My guess is that I developed c. difficile colitis related to months of antibiotic use. Anyway, I could barely eat, I was miserable and nothing worked. This did. In spades. Today I have no symptoms.

Last night I drank 3 glasses of the mixture. Today I have sipped on one glass, throughout the day, not because I need it, only because I am in awe of it. This stuff is like some elixir of the gods. Whatever miraculous thing it did to my body, I'm all in. Thanks Earth Clinic .

I had severe Diarrhea for 2 weeks. I was getting weak and dehydrated. it was embarrassing and scary. I took 2 capsules of activated charcoal in the morning, then in the middle of the night I took 2 more. It worked 100%. I'm totally better. I also took ACV 2 tbsp, with 1 tbsp of honey, with a splash of warm water. I am a huge fan of ACV. I think it was the charcoal that cured me though, or perhaps the combo. THANK GOD! I was really sick. I'm good now. Thank you everyone for your posts. :o)

WARNING!

Editor's Choice

Activated charcoal has such great absorbtion qualities but that can cause problems when mixed with medications. I urged my adult son used it for his diarrea and I think it absorbed too much of his seizure medication and he began to have tiny petit mal seizures within a while. Just be careful that you don't absorb a life saving medicine to cure diarrhea.

I was hit with some kind of stomach bug/virus and initially thought it was food poisoning. Just diarrhea and very tired. No vomiting but some nausea. Duration was about 2-1/2 days of straight bathroom, followed by 1-1/2 days of slowly recovering. For 48 hours I ate nothing. I added a teaspoon of ACV to a glass of water and was extremely nervous that my stomach wouldn't respond well, but it handled it fine. I just wanted to lend my experience to reassure people that your stomach can handle it, even in a really fragile state. Just make sure it's diluted; a small bit in a large glass of water. I also had a few little sips of plain kefir.

Well... I do not normally take the time to reply to things I find on the internet, but this is one I felt led to share my thanks for finding. I really appreciated finding this ACV trick for helping with my 5 days of horible diarreah! I was on my 5th day of this terrible bug and had allot of pressure in my belly and within 20 minutes of taking the prescribed dosage, I noticed significant relief. About 3 hours later I woke up and took another dose, which was very hard to get down, but did so and I am Very Pleased to share that I have felt very good today and did not have one episode of stuck on the toilet! Really glad to find a natural remedy! Thanks So Much! - Really!

Apple Cider Vinegar works for diarrhea.

I developed terrible runs from antibiotics..Runs lasted two weeks with no help in site except for over the counter temporary fixes.. Read the post about ACV and tried it out full strength three times a day ..After two days, I'm happy again, things are back to normal.. It's not an immediate fix so just keep doing ACV until the breakthrough.. Thanks be to God and thank you all for the recommendation..

An old fashioned cure for diarrhea is to peel an apple, throw away the peel, grate the flesh let it go brown, then eat. Especially good for children. The flesh takes on change which seems to cure the diarrhea. My passed mother in law told me this years ago and has always worked..

On a recent out-of-state trip, I caught a case of liquid poop. At first I thought it was because I ate a lot of greasy food one night (ive been sick to my stomach before when I ate a funnel cake at the fair; grease bomb!! ), but after a couple days, I figured it was something more serious.

So I started taking that good old pink stuff. However this did absolutely nothing after 2 days. By now, day 4, I was in so much pain from the cramps, and it felt like someone inserted a shop vac up my rectum and kept flipping the inflate/deflate switch. So I decided to check out EC once again for help. I came across the Turmeric cure. So I went to Walg****$ and bought a bottle, and took 6 capsules which is about 1 teaspoon I thought. After that, I thought I was good to go! No gas, no pain, and no liquid poop. However the monster came back just later that night.

So another day went by, another day of sulking. Then I visited the site again and decided to try the dreaded-by-many ACV cure!! Dah dah dahhh. I mistakenly took 2 teaspoons in juice one night, but the recipe was 2 TABLEspoons! So in the morning (when I found out) I again ingested the concoction, this time taking 2 big ones in a glass of juice with honey.

After 6 or so days of diarrhea every 30 minutes, I finally had peace! I was so happy that it was gone. Everything was gone, the cramps, the nausea, the gas surges, and the liquid poop. That afternoon I again chugged 2 more Tablespoons of ACV in juice, just to be safe. Then I was free. That was a week ago, it took me a while to post this but im so glad Earth Clinic saved me again : D Thanks to Jehovah God for ACV

This stuff is amazing! I did a Google search for something that would stop diarrhea. I've had it for a week and it intensified yesterday for some reason. I had to go every 30 minutes (even waking up from sleep and having to go)! Apple Cider Vinegar, apples, and yogurt would not stop it. I went this morning to The Vitamin Shoppe and picked up their version of Activated Charcoal since many people on this site swear by it. I took it at 9 am. I haven't had to go since. DEFINITELY a keeper for my medicine cabinet! I thank you and so does my toosh!

From the military I learned about charcoal for the runs. Hence if plagued by this nuisance, I put some bread in the toaster, burn it, apply butter & jam liberaly, eat & within 2 hours all symptoms are gone. Cheapest remedy ever.

Pickle Juice

I stumbled across this diarrhea remedy by accident. Dill pickle juice! I drank about 3/4 of a cup from the bottom of a jar of sliced dill pickle spears and whoa! I noticed that it had worked so well against post-prandial diarrhea that I became constipated for only the 5th or 6th time in my life! So use it in smaller amounts, but try it, it tastes great and garlicky and interesting too. It seemed miraculous because I'd almost daily or more often get diarrhea after eating so many foods for the last 5 years or so, and had even curtailed trips to the store or anywhere until I was sure I was "empty" and even then sometimes I'd have to dump my shopping cart and make a B line to the store bathroom, so anxiety-producing! But now the diarrhea is cured as far as I can tell. I mean I now have a totally normal bowel response with no running off within 5 minutes to 1/2 hr. of eating formerly diarrhea-causing foods. It has been about 2 weeks now and I seem to be normal, like other people who just eat and travel and so on without worrying about how far to a rest stop or how close ot a toilet they are. I can hardly believe it. Dill pickle juice (or dill pickle relish) work. I only found the remedy by craving pickles suddenly. I had both a little relish and a few spears plus the juice left in the jar sitting nice and cold in the fridge and man they seem to have done the trick within 10 mins or so, plus long-term. So cheap, so easy, so fast so open the jar and get some down yourself. I only wish I could drink more but I think it works too well because before I had figured out that was what had stopped diarrhea, I was enjoying them so much that I bought a new jar of pickles to eat and of course I overdid it and then got constipated, a new and unwelcome experience. I treated that finally after a few days of no-go with 2 capfuls of milk of magnesia because I was totally unaccustomed to constipation and found it very uncomfortable. Then I was perfect just like others. Only someone who's been under the misery of chronic diarrhea or sudden diarrhea can appreciate what a life-changing thing that cure can be. Travel! Go out! Stop fearing "what if" problems and go eat out or swim or anything. Dill juice rules!
