I had h pylori - mastica gum (is not a chewing gum) took 4 capsules before breakfast, lunch & supper and before bed.

I also took marshmallow, cats claw, slippery elm and dgl licorice 3 after each meal for 2 weeks.

Also bought edible clay - 1/4 cup with aloe vera with spring water -take away from other medications other it will bind and be no benefit to you. Take plenty of probiotics too. Take urea test when finished with h pylori. Take plenty of water & cranberry juice to get rid of hp in one's bladder.

I wish this worked for me. I am what I consider a severe case. Bedridden for weeks. Have had to get IVs, for the dehydration due to the constant vomiting and not being able to eat and drink. I have tried so many things, this was one of them. Did not work for me.

Hey Vonna......

Some of the things that helped me:

Grapefruit seed extract / LDM-100 (direct from Barlow Labs only! ) / having my chiropractor 'adjust' my pyloric valve (it can get irritated and inflamed, which can cause it to spasm & narrow, adding to the problem - caused me lots of vomiting) / drink equal parts George's Aloe Juice & silver mixed together (ex:1 or 2 oz each) / activated charcoal (taken away from any other supplements) / far-infrared heat mat.

I did not follow a specific regimen......Just rotated these different things

Take Care & heal naturally!

Have you tried Manuka Honey yet? Lots of info here, as well as medical studies done showing its efficacy. Best of luck to you. I hope this works. Any brand will do, so please don't get hung up on Brand name or UMF Factor or anything else. Manuka Honey was prescribed by a Naturopath to a friend and it works for her.

Mastic Gum, Probiotics

Editor's Choice

To treat H.Pylori (confirmed by an Endoscopic biopsy), I sought out my Naturopath, who prescribed Mastic Gum and Probiotics.

Probiotics were taken 30-60 minutes before breakfast, and at bedtime on an empty stomach.

Mastic Gum (aka Mastica Chios) was 1-2 capsules (400mg each) twice a day, on an empty stomach between meals (for the first 5 days start with one capsule, then raise to two capsules if well tolerated); until the bottle of 120 capsules was finished. T

wo months later, I asked my Physician to requisition the urea breath test, which confirmed I was free of H.Pylori. I never did tell my physician that I did not fill his prescription for two antibiotics plus an acid blocker. I sought to try an alternative to his treatment first, as I had read that low stomach acidity (not to mention antibiotics) can wreak havoc with your gut bacteria, and lead to a plethora of health issues.

Very glad it worked, and that it saved me from taking an unnecessary round of antibiotics!

Matula Tea

I am a nurse, and about a year ago I was seriously ill. The doctors did every test... then blood test which tested positive for H-pylori... I was soooo desperate for a cure... because I could not tolerate the "standard" treatment of antibiotics, antacids; I turned to the internet and found Matula Tea... it saved my life. You have to understand this nasty bacteria had me bedbound for 6 weeks... with one 2 day stay in the hospital for dehydration. After one month of taking the tea, I was tested again and no sign of H-Pylori. I started to feel "Alive"again.

But here I am yet again with the bacteria. I believe I know the source now, because people too can be carriers of this disease with no symptoms. Well this time I decided to try the "Standard treatment" and had a severe allergic reation to the antibiotics, and still have H-pylori positive. I have learned my lesson, I am ordering Matula Tea once again, and the person who I believe infected me is to be tested and treated.

I had stomache pain for over 2 years. My doctor denied that I had the bacteria and didn't do the test. We did scat scan, MRI, X-Rays... He found nothing. Then I got Acid Reflux really bad. Took 2 Prevacid and 2 Carafat each day. A biopsy at an endoscopy found the bacteria in my stomache and barret syndrom 1st stage.I took the pills for 9 months and had a lot of side effects. A specialist told me,"millions of people live with this and take the pills every day. This is nothing." I started Matula Tea and had no side effects. After 2 weeks I reduces my medication, after 3 weeks I stopped taken it. I emailed Customer Service from Matula Tea some times and asked for advice. He told me to take other remedies with the tea.(Slippery Elm, L-Glutamin, Betain) It worked for me. I had an Endoscopy two months ago, my bacteria is gone, my barret syndrom is gone, as well as my acid reflux. If I will get acid reflux or the bacteria again, I will take the tea again.

I have been suffering with very badly with H.pylori for at least the last 5 years. I had 10 treatents of antibiotics during this time without any success. Everytime I had the breath test it came back positive. I was getting so desperate about my health and even changed my Doctors several times after they all started to tell me that it was because I was panicking so much that I wasn't getting better. I finally searched the internet and found Matula Tea. I am pleased to tell you that Matula has proved to be a real winner and it has given me back my health again. A month after I completed the treatment I did the H.pylori stool antigen test and it came back negative. I was so happy I couldn't believe it. So much so for the antibiotics and other drugs that simply didn't work. I feel duty bound to let other people know about Matula Tea and how it has worked for me. ' What I found great about Matula Tea is that I didn't suffer any side effects like I did with all the antibiotic treatments. I hope that all you people that are suffering just like I did will find my story beneficial to your future health.

WARNING!

dear friends, STAY AWAY from matula tea which is sold in the internet. I bought it and when I got it brewed it for about 5 or so minutes. I took a FEW SIPS and minutes later became very ill, allergic reaction. Called 911 and ended in the Emergency Hospital. Be careful folks with some of the things you put in your body. Remember, be careful, as many of these people selling these remedies first objective is to make a buck.

You have to be careful about condemning the product when you get a bad reaction - because the reaction may not have been to the tea itself but could have been the bugs reacting to it and throwing out some kind of toxin that your body reacted to. We assume when we get an 'allergic' reaction that it is to some kind of food, but is our body reacting to the food, or a toxin that is being produced by the microbes?

Some people need to start with a very small amount and gradually build up to the full dose. I have found this with other things - many react to things like eggs, or coconut oil when they first start a Candida diet, but by just starting with a teaspoon, or even half a teaspoon and gradually increasing it, eventually they are able to tolerate the full amount. It is not them reacting - but the Candida. Just to bear in mind too, that things like diarrhea, rashes, nausea and vomiting, etc. , are actually detox reactions and are not necessarily bad. Your body has to get rid of the microbes and other rubbish some way!

Agree with Alib.

Matula Tea helped me tremendously, and certain people can have bad reaction from normal food, such as peanuts or milk, so like with every new product try and see. It is definitely MUCH safer than antibiotics!

In stead of the expensive matula tea why not use greek mountain tea which you can find in every greek shop. It's been used for h.pylori. Also if you use this together with the mastica it would be a very good combination I think, the greeks use both and are very healthy.

H. pylori stack - starting to feel better

I am stacking several supplements after having severe stomach bloating particularly in the evening. I have been diagnosed with H. Pylori in the past and I belive it has come back. I have been adjusting for the past two weeks and I am now starting to feel some relief...by adding oregeno oil, green tea, cranberry and Pepto Bismol after meals. Last night was the first night without bloating in a long time. Here is what I'm doing:

Personal Gut Healing + H. pylori Support Notes

(Updated protocol — HCl removed due to irritation)

Mastic Gum

• Directly antibacterial against H. pylori (damages its cell wall).

• Reduces gastritis and promotes mucosal healing.

• May lower stomach pain, reflux, and nausea.

• Use: Take on an empty stomach twice daily (morning and bedtime). Wait 20–30 min before food.

Pepto-Bismol (Bismuth Subsalicylate)

• Kills and suppresses H. pylori directly.

• Prevents bacteria from attaching to stomach lining.

• Coats and protects gastric mucosa; reduces inflammation and discomfort.

• Use: After meals and optionally at bedtime (up to 4×/day). Take 10–15 min after eating.

DGL Licorice (Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice)

• Protects and heals stomach lining; increases mucus production.

• Soothes gastritis and reflux; may mildly inhibit H. pylori.

• Use: 20 minutes before meals. Chewable tablets or powder form.

Marshmallow Root

• Coats and soothes irritated gastric tissue.

• Promotes mucosal repair and reduces burning/discomfort.

• Use: Between meals or before bed. Separate from medications/supplements by at least 1 hour.

Cranberry Extract

• Prevents H. pylori from adhering to stomach walls.

• Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory; may reduce recurrence.

• Use: With meals (capsule or unsweetened juice).

Berberine

• Potent broad-spectrum antimicrobial; targets H. pylori, yeast, and harmful gut bacteria.

• Anti-inflammatory and supports healthy gut microbiome.

• Use: With meals, 2–3× daily (usually 500 mg). Cycle: 4–6 weeks on, 1–2 weeks off.

Oregano Oil (Enteric-Coated)

• Strong antimicrobial and antifungal; disrupts H. pylori biofilms.

• Synergistic with berberine and bismuth.

• Use: With meals (never on an empty stomach). Take once or twice daily for 2–4 weeks, then cycle

off.

Green Tea (EGCG)

• Antioxidant and mildly antibacterial; reduces H. pylori activity.

• Helps reduce oxidative stress in gastric mucosa.

• Use: 1–2 cups daily, preferably between meals.

Fiber (New Addition)

• Nourishes beneficial gut bacteria; binds and eliminates bacterial byproducts.

• Promotes regular bowel movements and detox support.

• Use: Add slowly, away from supplements by 1 hour.

Probiotics (New Addition)

• Rebuilds gut microbiome after antimicrobial phase.

• Reduces H. pylori activity and improves gut healing.

• Best strains: Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 or ATCC PTA 6475, Saccharomyces boulardii.

• Use: 30–60 min before meals or before bed.

Notes and Observations:

• Betaine HCl removed due to stomach upset.

• Focus: soothing mucosa, suppressing H. pylori, and supporting microbiome rebalance.

• Avoid taking Pepto-Bismol, mastic gum, and marshmallow root together — space by 30–60

minutes.

Here is my schedule:

Time

What to Take

Notes

Upon waking (empty stomach)

Mastic gum

Wait 20–30 min before food/drink. Strong anti-H. pylori.

Breakfast

Coats and protects stomach.

Mid-morning (with small snack)

Oregano oil (enteric softgel)

Take with food, never empty stomach.

Hey, dear friends at EC, Please put this up at the top with my other posts because it will give people a real strategy to follow. Love you all.

H pylori got me deeper than c diff : I got past c diff in a few days with black seed oil, Manuka Honey Sac boulardi probiotic etc. H pylori festered in me for a month before it attacked hard.

Now for some deep in advice. You have to kill them, right?.... so how.

Firstly, you can make a hostile environment that they cannot live in. You do that by not letting them spew out the enzyme, urease, which makes your stomach alkaline. They like alkaline and propagate in that environment. So, you keep your stomach in an acid state by drinking a bit of cranberry juice every hour or so and eating some zinc each day and eating vitamin C (simple ascorbic acid) with each meal. The h pylori is so savvy as to keep your stomach, alkaline so your food takes longer to digest and ferments in your stomach and they love that and grow more. This is a good reason to not ever eat too big of a meal. I have been guilty of that for decades as an athlete. Eat many small meals per day.

Now, the doctors offer you a PPI (proton pump inhibitor) simply, Prilosec, which slows the production of stomach acid.. They are treating your symptoms and allowing the antibiotics to work better but allowing the h pylori to increase in numbers. Their strategy is to leave you enough acid to digest food. If you have ulcers, you can take 1/4th to 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 4 oz of water a couple of times a day. This is a "Ted" remedy because with a small amount of water, the baking soda will move quickly through your stomach, give you a bit of relief from ulcers.and move on into your intestine, helping the alkalinity there and putting your body into an alkaline state, which is good for fighting disease. Now, Pepto bismol is a better choice than Tums (which is calcium; do not drink milk because the calcium alkalizes the stomach and you don't want that). Pepto Bismol has bismuth in it and treats the stomach lining and is not just an antacid.

It is a tricky balance but keep the stomach in an acid state as much as possible.

Next, you can stop the h pylori from making and sending the urease, by taking black walnut extract or cranberry (unsweetened) or cedarwood extract or others you can look up. If the pylori cannot excrete the enzyme, and if your stomach stays acid, it will die.

I made the mistake of only trying to kill off the bacteria with, hydrogen peroxide, or silver, or fulvic minerals etc where now it is dieing off daily because I keep it from producing urease and keep the stomach in an acid state.

Finally, you need L reuteri, Sac boulardi and acidophilus and bifidus probiotics and some soothing substances like licorice, slippery elm etc.

OK, so kill it off, make the environment so they cannot live, and shut off their enzyme . Go get "em!!

Geez EC, I forgot this in my last post but it is so very important.

Why Mastic Gum? If you don't get any adverse reactions to it, Mastic gum (is not very recognized on this site) can be magic against H pyori. Why. Mastic gum has 5 different "terpine" substances that all kill bacteria. Look that up. Mastic gum also has no known toxicity and so the dose they recommend could be exceeded if it does not give you problems. So I am eating two 500 mg mastic gum capsules 4 times a day instead of 2 times and it is working like crazy good. I watched a video by a British guy who did nothing else but double the dose of mastic gum and he completely eradicated h pylori.

I offer you this, along with my post on keeping the stomach in an acid state and stopping the urease enzyme that h pylori must excrete to survive. You can do this. Get rid of it.

Kill all stomach, small intestine and large bowel bacteria with the threefold attack:

Hello EC, I hope you can put this up as an overarching commentary on all stomach, small intestine, and large bowel infections.

  • The Exposure!!! Baking soda 1/4th to one half teaspoon in water between meals to alkalize the body and intestine and get the bacteria out of the biofilm. Take between meals.
  • The Kill!!! You know, turmeric, manuka Honey, black seed oil, humic and fulvic minerals.....it's all here on earth clinic. Take also between meals but one hour away from the baking soda.
  • The rebuild!!! Strong probiotics like Florastor and V3 etc with meals.
  • I'll add, The soothe!!! Aloe juice or Aloe Vin, glutamine, slippery elm. Take somewhere between the others.

That should about do it for... H pylori, small intestine infection or candida, and c diff.

I have recently been diagnosed with this little bugger. I believe several rounds of strong antibiotics a few years back threw my good bacteria off.Since then I have had lethergy, bloating and brain fog.I am thankful that I dont have the severe issues that others are suffering.I had my physician order the breath test and I tested positive fotr it.She suggested triple therapy along with a PPI. I asked her about other therapies as she is a ND, and she told me about mastic gum, rhubarb tincture, and VIT C. I have not tried the gum or rhubarb yet, as I have been researching the heck out of this. A couple things I have tried for a week now are as follows:

1 I make a cocktail of 3 grams of VITC, 2 TBL CRANBERRY CONCENTRATE, 3 OZ OF ORGANIC PURE ALOE VERA FROM BARBERDARIS MILLER, I then add 8 oz of distilled water to this. I take this before bed on an empty stomach.

2. I take 2 tbl of grounf organic tumeric, along with a little black pepper for absorption, in a big glass of water.

3. I have changed my diet, and have cut out ALL BREADS, PASTRIES, CORN, FLOUR, GLUTEN, WHEAT, PASTA., along with cutting back on sugar as well.

3. I take 2-4 TBL of EVC daily in 2 doses on a spoon topped off with 2-4 drops of organic oil of oregano .IT helps the oil go down better so it does not burn mouth or throat.

4. I am trying to eat more raw foods, and clean sources of meat. I find eating lighter helps, increasing my fiber intake as well.

5 I have a protein smoothie that has probiotics, greens, and vit, omegas in it.

6. I am taking acidophilus 20 billion living cells per 2 tbl serving it also has a prebiotic in it.( now some have issues with dairy I dont seem to) Quantum has a non dairy one

So far, this has been my result, it is very early and I am cautious to say any success as far as true eradication, as I am realistic and know natural things take persistence, patienc, and time.

so here goes.

My brain fog has been ALOT BETTER

I have alot more energy, and desire to do things, as opposes to lack of desire.

my bowels in morning are emptying completely, some days they are somewhat loose and with a strong odor, but I believe this is dieoff, as I am feeling alot better, and my stomach bloating has gone down after only a few days of this protocol. These were my main complaints, so I feel it is helping me feel alot better. So I do plan on adding garlic, ginger to this along with strong polyphenols such as resveratrol, green tea as well.

I just didnt want to add everything at once and thereby cause supplement confusion..lol.

I hope this helps you, and best wishes in your health journey:)

Hi, I've had h pylori since childhood, for several years I have been severely affected suffering notable deficiency of b12 and blood iron levels amongst many other symptoms, I have managed to adjust my diet enough to improve and control symptoms well enough to carry out serious research.

I also noticed that when I eat Japanese umboshi plum it instantly makes me feel 'good' inside' my palate also changed quite immediatel. I looked this up and discovered that it is indeed powerful against h pylori.

After thorough research I have ordered ingredients for preparation including but not exclusive of propolis and mastic gum, as I have discovered knowledge to indicate them as being most efficient at eradicating h pylori, at 1 gram 3 times a day with a diet free of carbohydrates and processed foods, after min 2 weeks max 6 weeks for complete treatment.

For extra fool proof I shall include plum and colloidal silver which I have found to help. Also I shall be constructing to teas to help detox liver and kidneys to aid elimination of toxins and reduce die off symptoms and discomfort.

I shall return with updates on recipes and how they work for me, along with any side effects I find in my observations.

I first found out I have the nasty pylori bacteria about 1.5 years ago I have been trying some tiny changes my diet and some oils that never helped me for long. It helped me for few weeks and then I felt the gas, pains and mental unclearity again. I started reading more and more about it. Trying to figure out how to kick it out of my life for good. For the past 2 months I have tried those 4 things that REALLY makes me feel so much better! I have not checked myself if I have it or not but I just feel good now!
1. I started taking zinc-carnosine twice a day. A little expensive pill (abut $40 although you might able to find it cheaper- depends on the brand). have been taking it for two months now.
2. Coconut oil- two spoon twice a day.
3. acidophilus (good bacteria for stomach)- once a day one pill
4. THE MOSTIMPORTANT- RAW FOOD DIET. I have been a vegetarian for the last 10 year so even for me going completely raw was hard. (no coffee as well).I started educating myself and searching more and more knowledge about this raw food vegan movement. I feel so great, so energized. My digestive system has been amazing for the last month.
I would recommend YouTube about the Raw vegan diet. Watch people such as FreeLee, FullyRawKristina, Megan Elizabeth and more.
I am not a doctor of course and this is personal to my case but I so know how it feel to be in this awful pain. Give it all a 2 months try and I really hope you would feel the difference!
