Ted I want to thank you for your remedy with vinegar and baking soda. I used it about 2 months ago with very slow results. I thought about it and came up with this remedy I detox my body. I realize that my colon and liver were so full of food that I did a colon cleanse, liver cleanse and kidney cleanse for 30 days in combination I lost 22 lbs. My food consist of only from the ground food that was organic. I have had so many comments at how great I look on the outside but I have been taking the Vinegar and baking soda now and I feel absolutely wonderful on the inside. I can actually make the comment that there is nothing that hurts on my body inside and out. Thank you...

Dear Diane: Detoxing your body and improving your eliminations is very important towards recovery and if you can do that, it is good. Most of the reason people get sick is the problem of eliminations and acidosis. Those are two primary reasons.

Usually an apple cider vinegar and baking soda improves both elimination with regular bowel movements, as well as normalizing the pH. It does two things in just one shot, but it is not perfect. Apple cider vinegar will work better than a vinegar with baking soda, in case you are wondering, as it have potassium, minerals and many others. Also to use apple cider vinegar and baking soda with detoxing also helps.

I read on your website about the greats benefits of apple cider vinegar and baking soda in water and I would like to know what is the amount of each product you recommend for daily use? (Example: 1Tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1/4 Tsp baking soda in 1 cup of water) I don't want to overdo it. Thanks a lot for your time.

I started taking 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with baking soda once a day. This has helped so much with the fatigue that I was having and has given me more energy.

Thank you for this site. I have a very high insurance deductible and going to the doctor cuts into my food bill! I have been sick for three weeks and the quality of my life has suffered. I went to the doctor who told me take sudafed. I did and it helped very little. Today I woke up from a nap and just started crying. I just couldn't stand the pain and how tired I feel constantly. I tried the ACV and it worked at first then stopped. I then tried it by adding baking soda and it was amazing. I hope it continues to work. For now at least I can get some sleep. I love this site.

Hey guys. First off, I've been following this site for some time now. It's great -- I recommend it to everyone. My grandmother used to take ACV years ago and I'd try it and it was horrible to the taste. So since i have been really getting in to natural medicine. I started taking acv in a pill form. and it gave me a yeast infection. YES, I'm a man with a yeast infection. It's horrible and my pH is always acidic. I'm also a vegan. no meat whatsoever.. I have been like this for 10 yrs, so I read about Ted's baking soda trick. I tried and threw up. I'm a wimp. so what i did was open up the acv pill, empty half of the powder out, and put baking soda in its place. I take two a day every other day.. OMG I tell I woke up this morning and shot outta bed and ran around the house. my wife thought I was nuts.. I told her I have so much energy. I always wake up tired. and aches. TED I LOVE U!!!!!! Wish there were more people in the world like you. Thanks for helping us. Anthony

Take the solution (apple cider vinegar - baking soda) preferably after meals but not right away after eating. It is not advisable to take the solution on full stomach; the solution really works effectively on empty stomach.

I just have a general question about the effectiveness of my routines. I'm not treating anything specific. I teach/train Internal Martial Arts [Tai Chi etc] and work out. I've got some bad joints and familial health issues all over the place. I'm also hypoglycemic. [some background]

I take a teaspoon of Baking soda in 8oz of water upon waking up and right before bed. Throughout my work day I drink a solution of 2-4oz of ACV [w/ the mother] in about 8oz of juice cut with about 20 oz of water. I rinse my mouth with clean water after every swig in case it starts affecting enamel. I don't drink coffee or soda [I do drink a lot of tea]. I don't eat red meat and I stick with dark chocolat [which I do eat about daily]. In general I try and stick with fish and fowl, fruits and veggies and I've cut way back on high salt and fat foods and am trying to stay away from processing. I also take a probiotic in the morning.

Is that regime a decent one? Am I counteracting anything important? Too much or too little of something? I mentioned the other diet stuff to speak to my body chemistry.

Any adjustments needed are appreciated. Thanks.

Dark chocolate is associated with any coffee/sub. However it sounds good to me. Baking soda and ACV sounds to me like an explosive. I also read in a medical journal that a certain amount of inflammation is good as it keeps diseases away from the body. Good Luck with your journey.

Newcomer needs Advice

I have just discovered the mainy benefits of taking ACV and Baking soda. I have started taking Apple Cider Vinegar and baking soda twice a day now (2tsp Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/4 tsp baking soda) and I was wondering is it best to take first in the morning and at night (before meals or after)? I take my first dose as soon as I get up in the morning followed by my coffee so should I wait for awhile before to have my coffee or is this ok?. Also how long should I take this for as I have read 5 days on and two off. Thank you

I'm thinking that might be way too much acid(?) Coffee is suggesting that it too is acidic. Plus taking ACV and baking soda. You will explode for sure.

It may be ok to experiment but this might be a bit much. There are many web sites to do a complete web search first. Good Luck

I have just discovered the benefits of ACV and Baking soda and all of this is new to me. I take it twice a day (2 teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda with 8ounce glass of water) So when is a good time to take this throughout the day? And also I take my first dose as soon as I get up and then I have my coffee. Is it wise to wait awhile to have my coffee or does this matter? Thank you

Can I use ENO instead of Soda Bicarbonate in my ACV and Lemon drink? Eno is a readily available product from Grocers and Pharmacy and contains Soda Bicarbonate and Citric Acid and is used as a relief from upset stomach etc.

Thank you for a great site and God Bless

Hi I am a regular reader but I have some questions for you, I have hypothyroid. Can I use Apple Cider Vinegar because I am using it for the last 4 days and can I use it with baking powder because I could not find baking soda here. Is it ok? Please answer my question as soon as possible as I have stones in my gallbladder also. Waiting for your answer- thank you.

Hi Khurram, no, baking powder is not a substitute for baking soda. Look for Bicarb soda or Sodium Bicarbonate. These are the other names baking soda goes under. Cheers Lily.

I have hypothyroidism also among many disorders, but all I use ACV for is lower my cholesterol. Also I need to lose weight, I feel ACV helps me balance out what needs to be regulated. Why not try out one thing at a time. Also do a lot of web searches. I go to search engine /ask a short version question. Good Luck.

Better But With Side Effects
I have been taking 2 tbs ACV and 1/4 ts baking soda in a glass of water twice a day on empty stomach for three weeks, 5 days on 2 days off according to Ted's instruction. I have been taking it for over all health. I am reducing my weight much faster, more energy, clear thinking, better sleep, no more constipation. I am feeling great. But this remedy makes me urinate frequently. I don't have any kidney problem. Is this normal while on this remedy? or Is this side effect of baking soda? Has any body experienced frequent urination with this remedy? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Am taking 6 oz. water with 2 oz. of apple cider vinegar and 1/8 tsp. of baking soda. Is this good or bad for digestion?

I have been reading all the comments and what I don't understand is how BOTH ACV and Baking Soda can help - are they opposites? ACV is acid and Baking soda is alkaline, right?

I'd prefer to take this formula 2x a day using 1 tablespoon of ACV each dose. Is there a formula for 1 tablespoon of ACV to baking soda? How much baking soda per tablespoon of ACV would be ideal? Thank You.
