11/01/2008: Aja from North Plainfield, NJ: "Be very careful with DMSO (Dimenthyl Sulfoxide). As a chemist, I've used DMSO and it is a great compound because it is an EXTREMELY effective solvent.

The reason that the FDA is against DMSO for home use is because it basically dissolves almost anything and takes it along for the ride. Since it is readily absorbed into the skin, anything dissolved in it is also absorbed. This can be dangerous if you inadvertantly come in contact with a hazardous chemical while using DMSO. Many things that are safe when placed on the skin aren't necessarily so when they are absorbed into the body.

DMSO should be stored in glass containers (not plastic) and whatever area on the body it touches should be extremely clean. Be very conscious of not contaminating your bottle by dipping anything into it and make sure any container you use is also clean. As long as you're careful, you shouldn't have any problems."

11/03/2008: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Basically he made one major error here when he writes,

DMSO should be stored in glass containers (not plastic) and whatever area on the body it touches should be extremely clean.

DMSO is sold by chemical suppliers generally in plastic containers (mine is from Fisher Scientific -picture of my DMSO is shown here) and it doesn't dissolve anything. Alcohol and acetone can dissolve certain things, namely plastic. But nothing dissolves organic compounds, such as skin, tissue, except through the process of digestion. And that is the job of Ebola, MRSA, your stomach acid to name a few. So it is technically doubtful that a REAL CHEMIST would say that DMSO should be stored in a glass container. DMSO doesn't go through the plastic containers sold by chemical suppliers.

DMSO is actually a byproduct of paper manufacturing processes, and the paper mill tried to get rid of it by pouring on to the coal tar roads. It was a disaster, as all the animals, such as deer, squirrels started licking up this miraculous substance. And it was later that a chemist name Dr. Stanley Jacobs was looking for a suitable compound to preserve heart from damage during transportation to protect them and found DMSO by chance. It's antioxidant ability had that capability from preventing damage, but it had wide uses in a chemical fields since it offers cells to receive oxygen where blood vessels can't reach. The woman who posted the cat was right on.

The DMSO can go through the cells receiving oxygen to cells that are dying helping it revived and this is why DMSO is ideal in emergency situations such as a stroke, or brain damage situation.

To make a long story short, I used DMSO mixed with water to reduce irritation, but MSM can do it too, although it won't have that recognition in emergency situation mentioned, since MSM doesn't go through the cells as easily as a DMSO."

04/29/2010: Vicky from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Hi, Ted! Can you help me informing where to buy DMSO in Bangkok?

I plan to do the recomendations of Dr.David Gregg dissolving Vitamin B12 in DMSO:

"The absorption of vitamin B12 requires a highly specialized process which tends to become less effective with age...I realized that if I dissolved vitamin B12 in DMSO, it might carry it directly to my blood stream through my skin. I tried it and the results were dramatic for me, far greater than any impact I had ever felt from oral or sublingual tablets. I put some of my vitamin B12 tablets obtained at a health food store into a two liquid ounce bottle with an eyedropper and filled it with DMSO. It took a couple of days for the tablets to fall apart. Once they did, I put an eyedropper load on one arm and rubbed it in. In approximately one hour I started to feel very good, which was a sense of general strength and well being."

Thanks in advance!"

09/27/2008: Kim from SouthWestern Ontario, Canada: "Please be advised that DMSO is highly absorbed into the bloodstream and has a high risk of causing sterilization in humans. Although I highly recommended pain and swelling reliever one should use great caution when applying it to an animal by wearing gloves or know for a fact you are done having children before using it on yourself. I have used the product for many many years on horses and never apply it without gloves on."

ALso- is DMSO ever taken internally? if so..how?"
01/13/2009: Carolyn from Northwest, OH replies: "DMSO causing infertility? I think that is quite the opposite of the truth: DMSO is used often to increase fertility in animals--most often cows/bulls, as far as I know. I'm sure using DMSO on your leg will be just fine. Also, DMSO is used very often in human in-vitro fertilization. After they fertilize eggs in the petri dish, and form zygotes, they are soaked in DMSO prior to cryo freezing. These frozen embryos make healthy babies at a really good rate after they are implanted."
01/22/2014: A Sojournor from Land replies: "The problem with one misstatement of fact is that it travels around the world in a split second. I recommend reading DMSO the persecuted drug, before making statements like DMSO causes sterility in humans. Either you have not done any research or somebody told you something and instead of checking it out and confirming or disproving, you just posted it. In law a perjured person is a person who has spoken a lie, whether or not intentional does not matter. Now, are you speaking that you personally have been sterilized and the blood tests have come back that DMSO did that to you? Well, please grace us with the report because if that is true then we must be careful to avoid this deadly substance. What ever your issue is, please research before spewing it. Thank you."

He's pretty encouraged, wasn't taking it very seriously when I started him on it but now he's the one reaching for the bottles."
10/06/2011: Bmartin from San Clemente, Ca Usa replies: "I have been doing a DMSO hair growth trial on myself using DMSO, allantoin and phosphytilserine. The DMSO is there mainly as a carrier but it helps as antioxidant. Our bodies natural response to inflammation is to oxidize the crap out of the injured area which isn't always necessary, especially in autoimmune disorders.

03/28/2009: Mark from Sherman Oaks, CA replies: "If you take Virgin Coconut oil, herpiees and cold sore out breaks will be a thing of the past. the DMSO is good but rather than trying to prevent one coming on...the VCO will stop it all together and drop all viral loads to extremely low levels. Also the "BUDWIG DIET" with Flax or HEMP oil also has similar results."
03/08/2012: Blue Monkey from Toronto, On replies: "Wow I've heard of DMSO more than a year ago but never actually used it. Anyone who suffers from years of cold sores needs to know about the High L-Lysine and Low L-Arginine diet. It is this high ratio that keeps viruses dormant. Stress depeletes l-lysine and so does sugar, exercise and sex and ongoing insufficient sleep which also reduces other stress coping chemistry. Think how many times outbreaks occur in conjunction with these events in your life.

It hs basically come down to my finding only 3 really high L-lysine low L-arginine foods.
PLAIN WHITE YOGURT (goats cuz cows are too polluted)
Quinoa (also Gluten Free and complete protein)
Figs wow what a super food, eat freah and dried year round

Any time I still feeling a tingle I go for the yogurt and it stops and dies very quickly. I only found Quinoa 2 years ago and figs last year. I have wanted to give up dairy for years and can't because I need the L-lysine basically to survive without sores.

NOW I am actually gonna go across the street and pick up a bottle on my way to the kitchen and stop eating yogurt for as long as possible ;^)

Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes. Blue Monkey"

I found out about DMSO and purchased some. I put it on my lip as soon as I feel that tingling feeling that comes prior to an outbreak. Since using this product the cold sore does not become visable. I am thankful and recommend others who suffer to give it a try."

I decided to try dmso on it since I had some on my desk. (I ordered it a few weeks ago since I had read that you could use internally which I have yet to figure out what the protocal of that might be) I dabbed it on about 5 times throughout the day. I definetely felt that something was happening but the blister itself remained. About 7pm last night I accidently brushed the blister and it popped, without any pain. The blister was "dead". It is healing today. I HAVE NEVER EVER had a blister that was fully blistered heal so quickly. Once a blister has formed it usually means that you are in for the full program. ten days of a big patch of red gue by your lip and then scabbing and healing finally at the end."
[YEA]  03/13/2011: Jty100 from Manchester, England replies: "I also use DMSO successfully for herpes. If an outbreak starts I put DMSO in the base of the spine and also on the sores themselves. Another great discovery I made recently is that my iron stores get low and this is why I am prone to getting outbreaks. The virus and my immune system compete for iron!"

[WARNING!]  02/11/2010: Deirdre from Atlanta, Ga: "My good friend's boyfriend is a professor in sleep research at a university in California. When I was visiting them a few weeks ago, I asked if he used dmso in the lab and if so, how did he store it? He told me that they use dmso in many, many experiments and that they always store it in glass bottles. When I told him that I had recently put some of my dmso in a small, cosmetic plastic spray bottle to use with grapefruit seed extract for nail fungus, he looked concerned and suggested that I only store dmso in glass.

Ah, good thing I had that discussion. When I got home from the trip, I smelled the little plastic spray bottle that I had been using the previous 2 weeks. It reaked of chemicals! Yikes!! I compared the smell to the dmso in the thick white plastic bottle that I bought from an online vet supply store, which looks just like the one in Ted's photo. Thankfully the big bottle had a typical dmso odor - a faint scent of garlic. Needless to say, I immediately threw out my spray bottle. Until I find a glass beaker or bottle from a science supply store, I am using a glass dropper for the dmso.

Be warned, be warned!"

01/23/2011: Dr. Gerald from Armadale, Western Australia replies: "Hi Everyone

It is best to store DMSO in glass bottles because as a extremely good solved it can leach it or even dissolve some of the ingredients in the plastic. Having said that there are some plastics which can be used to store DMSO (some manufacturers use a plastic bottle not sure what plastic is used in these). More research needs to be done on the effects of DMSO on various disease processes the potentials are fantastic. I have used 1 to 2 teaspoons taken internally with great success the only side effect is a garlic type odour.

kind regards

Dr. Gerald Veurink"

02/03/2012: Mweather from Riverside, Ca replies: "There are different kinds of plastic, and I certainly wouldn't pour dmso into an el cheapo plastic bottle that wasn't at least food grade, but everyone should be aware that dmso is shipped from manufacturers in plastic bottles. I'm guessing they are high density plastic. I transfer mine to PET bottles, but obviously glass is good. Avoid metal caps.

There are people selling dmso online who charge more and make a big deal out of their glass bottles, without mentioning their dmso originally came in plastic. Rather misleading. They also claim it is a superior grade - but anyone can buy 99.9% purity at any livestock/feed store. It's the same stuff.

Also - I would hesitate to use a dmso product that was premixed with some other ingredient. You really don't need aloe or honey pulled through every cell in your body. Honey for one can be contaminated with pathogens - that's why we don't give it to newborns. Binding dmso to a potentially contaminated product and sending it past the blood brain barrier is just silly. If you are using dmso as a carrier agent for another ingredient, much better YOU control that ingredient and its purity."

12/15/2012: Vic from Colorado Springs, Co replies: "Hi Dr: I was wondering what type of DMSO you used where you bought it and for what purpose you used it? Thanks Regards. Vic I would like to use it for COPD.

1or 2 teespoons of dmso oraly Please explain?"

04/15/2013: Fred from Malton, Ontario replies: "All manufacturers use PP, Poly-propylene, #2 in recycling triangle, or HDPE, high-density polyethylene, #1 in recycling triangle, to ship DMSO.

I tried to measure off a little DMSO using kitchen type measuring spoon, and in a few seconds it took the shine off of the spoon. It also melts rubber, esp. Nitrile, which is popularly called "synthetic". Glass is probably best, but hard to find DMSO in glass, and it's expensive. People have used industrial grade DMSO, which is not clean at all, and they live. Except one ingredient which may be in it, which is deadly in larger amounts, or if used for a long time - acetone. I don't know if it can be smelled (smells like nail polish) in small percentege, but I wouldn't risk it. But I am not half-worried about plastic, if it's the right kind. I have a large syringe to measure bigger quantity, I put DMSO on it, and it rooled right off, as if the plastic is greasy, so it's unlikely to do anything.

Now I am drinking it, 2 teaspoons a day, you need grapefruit juice or tomato juice, it tastes awful, but it's harmless. I recommend a book "DMSO: Nature's healer" by Dr. Morton Walker, it explains everything about it. Clinics use it IV - Intra Veinus, orally, injections etc. , in combination, it's completely safe. But he warns to get familiar with possible side effects, they are not harmful but may be scary (for nothing, they go away)"

01/17/2014: Sojournor from America replies: "I just found what appears to be a leaded glass fancy type oil/vinegar bottle with a glass stopper and I poured my DMSO blend into it: The blend was 3 ounces of DMSO and 3 ounces of straight Glycerine and 1/2 ounce of cinamon/cayenne tincture and the later the same day I noticed a little white reside on the bottle. I was wondering if crystal might leak lead or some other chemical. If there is a doubt I will toss the blend I made and use something else to store my blend in. Any thoughts or knowledge about this? Thank you for your responses.."
01/18/2014: Mama To Many from Tennessee, Usa replies: "Dear Sojourner,

I think I would err on the side of caution and throw it out.

~Mama to Many~"

01/22/2014: Sojournor from America replies: "Thank you, Mama to Many, for your response. I think that is good advice. There may have been residue of some thing inside the vessel itself. I was pretty certain that lead crystal did not leach lead into the liquid, but I don't know for certain."

I am going to get some eye drop containers and start the mixing. Question is what is the ratio? mg per ml? do I use just dmso and the vitamin or dilute it with distilled water? how often can I put the drops on my skin per day? also what other vitamins would be safe in this procedure?"

Replies
12/06/2010: Shiloh from Escondido, California replies: "Internal use of DMSO, to Tre from Memphis, Tn, Hi Tre, I have never used DMSO internally, seeing how you have read a lot on the many things you can use this for, just a safety reminder, make sure everything the DMSO touches is very clean, and also if you plan on using capsules or tablet form of vitamins, do a trial run in water first, to make sure it dissolves in 20 minutes or it might not work, but then again DMSO is classified as a solvent, so it might, but just to make sure you might want to put it in a glass to check the disolveability before you put it into the eyedroper. Good luck and please keep us posted on exactly what you did and how well it works."
12/07/2010: Francisca from Michelbach-le-bas, Alsace, France replies: "There is a book on DMSO by the same doctors who wrote one about MSM. I only read the MSM one but what I understood is that it is clear that you can use DMSO internally, I even think that it is usually used internally but that because of the odor you can better use MSM. One of the doctors has ran a DMSO clinic in the US for many years, maybe he still does..... If you go on Amazon you will find several books on both subjects."
12/26/2011: Jerry from Sprngville, Al. replies: "PLEASE : Use food grade DMSO for all human use, buy the book (dmso nature's healer) there are all grades of dmso; horses, swimming, industry, be smart and read up on things before you do harm to yourself."
[YEA]  01/07/2012: Deborah from La Honda, Ca replies: "I just wanted to state that I read a thread about some people in Australia taking a few drops of pure DMSO in a glass of purified water daily and decided to try it. I have pain from soft tissue damage from a few injuries and thought it might help. What I did not expect was that my cronic stuffy nasal passages from allergies would almost instantly clear! The first day it happened I did not attribute it to the DMSO but now after four straight days of being able to breathe fully within minutes of taking it; it is now clear there is no doubt. I have ordered the book recommended here and will see what else I can expect."

Medical Grade vs Industrial DMSO

12/11/2013: Anne from Washington: "Regarding "Industrial" DMSO vs "Medical grade." Several years ago I was interested in DMSO and did quite a bit of research on this stuff. It is truly a wonder product, but I was concerned about the 'purity' thing. So I contacted the company that makes DMSO and asked them about it. This is what they told me. Dmso is Dmso, period. There is no 'medical grade' or 'industrial' grade. It is all the same. DMSO is Dimethyl sulfoxide period. The only difference is how much distilled water is mixed with it. If it is 70% DMSO that just means it has been mixed with 30% distilled water. If it is 99% pure, it means it was mixed with 1% distilled water. If it says 99.9% pure, it has no measurable distilled water mixed with it. PERIOD> So when you read on the internet that 'their' product is "more pure" than anyone elses, you're being "taken". I've seen ads stating that "Our product is only 'Medical grade'" to justify charging as much as 38.00 per bottle!! ? This is ridiculous! I buy my bottle of DMSO at our FEED and SEED store for 7.50!! It is 99% pure and I have been using for years! So don't be taken to the cleaners over this stuff. Do your own research.!!!"

Replies
[NAY]  01/10/2014: Painbomb from Olathe, Co replies: "In response to Anne's post, grade is not in reference to the amount of water in dmso, it's in reference to purity, meaning that dmso that is of pharmaceutical grade is 99.99% pure - the chances of it containing any solvents or other additives is minute. This is the grade used in cryogenic preservation (shipment of organs for transplant), and in transdermal patches. The risk of any other grade is unknown, unless you have access to a testing facility that can tell you what the other percentage is, I.e., the 1% or more which is not dmso. That 1% can make all the difference when it comes to treating the human body, so misinformation can be damaging. I use only 99.99% pure dmso iin my topical pain formula, just as I use only the highest grade essential oils and extracts, organic, extra-virgin coconut & olive oils, and organic grapeseed and hemp oils. 01/11/2014: Robert Henry from Ten Mile , Tn replies: "HI U KAREN, , , , , , , , , , Seems to me that you might be getting caught up in stuff that is much to do about nothing. I buy my DMSO from Dr Jacobs and he is Mr. DMSO and states that DMSO in a poly bottle is good, but if you got a hang up, then he will ship it in a glass container for $ 5 more. He did all the original research on DMSO for Crown Zellerbach back in the 60's . What are your credentials?

What you have to watch is that most compounds distill off at a certain purity and if you want it higher then it is done by it is done by removing the water by decanting with a solvent. When I was a poor whipper snapper at Ga Tech and in Organic Chemistry, instead of stealing ethanol at 95% , I stole the the Absolute ethanol at 100%, because that had to be better. The more I stole for our Frat parties, the worse I felt.

The next summer I had a grad student teaching the class. He covered Absolute 100% ethanol, which was made by decanting the water from the 95% by using benzene and this left traces of benzene in the Absolute. Benzene is accumulative in your body and when you reach 10 grams , then you die. After that lecture , I went to him after class and explained what a friend of mine had done by stealing from the Organic Lab.

He had been down a few dusty road and told me very emphatically not to ever do that again. Since I's SJS , I never did, but I have always wondered how many grams of benzene I do have.

The lady who buys her 99% DMSO from the Farm Co-op will get no flack from me and I question your problem with it.

=========OLE ROBERT HENRY============="

02/26/2014: Man from Sojouring America replies: "I have a question perhaps someone can direct me to the source of information on this. I just bought DMSO distributed by "FWI, Tulsa, OK" and it says 99 % purity. The representative of the company said it is actually 99.9% purity and that they are using the old bottle because they have them and will use them up and then switch to the new labels.

Is anyone familiar with this distributor (FWI, Tulsa, OK) and do they have a reputation in the community for honesty.

My reason, logic and common sense says that 99.9 % purity is probably fine for purity. Does anyone have any reason to say that this brand/label is anything other than what it claims?"

My boyfriend gets constant and debillatating migraine headaches for the past several years (about once or twice a week)... it is what first brought me to Earthclinic many months ago when I started researching. He has ever since been by guniea pig!! I think that there's a lot of it to do with nutritional defficiencies (which I am still figuring out...) but I FINALLY came up with something that works QUICK in the meantime until I figure out the root cause this treats the symptoms.

I was reading about DMSO and how it could theoretically be used to treat a stroke in an emergency, and I was thinking that headaches have similar problems of lack of oxygen to the brain... so when he came over this morning w terrible headache that had lasted all night and not been relieved by Amerge or Flova prescription migraine pills... I mixed him a cocktail of organic "Monster C" juice, about 1 cup (8 oz.) with a tiny bit (about 1/8 t. DMSO and added a few drops of food grade 35% hudrogen peroxide. We applied an icepack to his forehead and within 20 minutes the headache that had lasted for about 8 hours went away completely! So happy! Hopes this remedy helps someone else."

04/15/2013: Fred from Malton, Ontario replies: "DMSO is harmless, used in emergency sugeries to minimize swelling in head injuries, etc. So if it doesn't work, it's very unlikely to do harm. BUT Watch out, DMSO on all sensitive tissue is prone to biting, burning, itching etc. So you should be ready to flush it out, but you may still suffer discomfort.

It's also good in combination with conventional remedies, it delivers them right where they are needed and boosts their effect."

10/29/2013: Olieann from Texas replies: "I would be VERY CAREFUL about douching with DMSO. It is used with Cystitis via catheter in the bladder, but you need to make very sure you do not have any kind of infection vaginally, like any STD. Because when you douche with the DMSO any infection you may have will go directly to the bloodstream and that can be very dangerous. So If you are using it for a Herpes outbreak, you really need to be careful there is not anyother STD going on also. Use with caution. I am using it on my Rheumatoid Arthritis and all I can say is, Thank God I found this stuff...."

12/01/2013: Jedi757 from Portsmouth, Va replies: "I'm new to DMSO. A doctor gave it to my husband to use after his back surgery b/c he had terrible swelling in his legs and feet. His feet looked like pregnant lady feet. I applied the DMSO around the suture and within an hour his legs were no longer swollen (they were swollen for 5 days after surgery). I applied the DMSO around his suture again that night before he went to bed. The next morning his feet looked normal. I'm now trying it on a MRSA scar.

If I have any luck with it reducing the scar I will post my results. Do know, MRSA toxins are nasty but if you can find a doc to give you a vitamin C IV get one. It will mop those toxins up and make you feel a ton better. I had undiagnosed MRSA for 3 years in my nose. I could smell a burning matches type smell all the time. One doctor actually told me I was hallucinating. I ended up septic, after about 6 months sepsis I found an integrative medicine doctor and he gave me the vitamin C. It made me feel so much better immediately. It pushed the toxins out through my skin. I had cystic like knots all over my head the day after the infusion and they disappeared later that day. After that I got 4 more infusions weekly and I was soon healed. The MRSA popped up 2.5 yrs later and I finally had a smart enough doctor to swab the wound in my nose, we found out it was MRSA, I was finally put on a MRSA appropriate anti-biotic and I combined it this time with 40k mg of IV vitamin C, this finally knocked it out. For the first time in my life I don't smell burning matches. Vitamin C in conjunction with the right antibiotic works miracles. Don't take fluroquinolones as the antibiotic it will make it worse, I used rifampin. I also took likes of niacin. I suffered through the flush but the niacin is to get blood super close to the wound to help heal it faster."

12/02/2013: Robert Henry from Ten Mile ,tn replies: "JEDI, you bring up a good topic with flushing Niacin as it dilates your capillaries which allows blood to get to places it normally can't go. Also it allows your body's toxins to pass out. It is a must with any Detox program. The problem is that most Md's have no clue and most folks start with a 500 mg capsule, which is normally far too much and thus, the flush is way too strong and unbearable.

Some 10 years ago, I was fortunate enough to subscribe to a Naturopath who started me off on 100 mg capsules and you found your level that would give you a mild, but tolerable flush. I think mine was 300mg. This lack of knowledge turns people off flushing Niacin and that is a shame.

Did you consider Colloidal Silver for your MRSA?

12/02/2013: Bill from San Fernando, Philippines replies: "Hi John Henry...I'm with you 100% with what you say about niacin. This is why higher dose niacin should be in so many protocols where there are problems with the extremities of the body -- like the head, hands, feet and other areas that sre difficult to reach. Niacin safely opens up the arteries, veins and capillaries for more efficient delivery of nutrients to these regions. Niacin(not niacinamide) changes the blood -- it thins or unclumps thick blood safely. Other side-effects of niacin supplementation at higher orthomolecular dose are that it seems to be highly beneficial for problems such as CFS, Depression, Diabetes, Dementia, Arthritis, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Heart Disease, high blood pressure and alcoholism.

But you won't achieve any of the above beneficial effects with the lower RDA dosage of 15 to 20 mgs for niacin.

I also much prefer the niacin form and take it regularly. If your niacin flush is unbearable then just take ordinary aspirin 20 mins before supplementing the higher dose niacin. This greatly reduces the flush. Niacin is also much cheaper than either niacinamide or inositol hexanicotinate (slow release niacin).

Niacin Therapy Details -- Hoffer

Regarding DMSO, I came across an interesting article the other day. I think that most people are aware of the transdermal benefits of DMSO and its ability to carry nutrients through the skin and into the blood. Well here's something that might help people with excessive plaque on their teeth or gum disease.

Hulda Clark suggests taking DMSO as a mouthwash. Use 50% DMSO, one teaspoon twice a day as a mouthwash. What could be simpler?

It's also well known that DMSO is an anti-microbial that also can kill mycoplasma(which is why it works so well against arthritis). DMSO also has rather remarkable anti-inflammatory and pan-killing properties. Furthermore DMSO also dissolves biofilms or plaque.

The DMSO acts more deeply than just ordinary anit-microbials because it actually penetrates the gum line to help disinfect and remove pathogens from the all-important root canals. I am thinking of using DMSO and lugol's iodine in combination as a mouthwash. The use of lugol's with DMSO should greatly help in removing both pathogens and biofilms or plaque from the teeth and jaw areas.

“DMSO, 25% in water. Take one tsp. as a mouthwash, twice daily. Swish slowly over gums. Hold several minutes. Swallow for maximum effectiveness. This “pushes” your supplements into your tissues. It also helps to draw toxins out of cavitations. You may add wintergreen drops to the mouthwash. 50% DMSO is preferred, if available. Must be edible quality.”

[YEA]  01/22/2014: Man from Sojourning replies: "I am very interested in this Niacin issue. I find that a 250 mg dose of Niacin will keep me warm in very cold weather. so If I am going to go out int 5 degree Fahrenheit weather, then a dose of Niacin will work. I know this works. So now the question arises whether dissolving the Niacin in the DMSO would work even better? I am off to the lab to check this out. If I don't come back, please don't send flowers."
[YEA]  02/11/2014: Jedi from Portsmouth, Va replies: "To Robert Henry: Yes I tried colloidal silver. The MRSA was between the layers of my skin. The silver didn't help. I'm still using the DMSO and I think it is helping but not enough. I really need to be more consistent with it. I think Niacin works wonders for so many things. I think it has helped my blood pressure too. It use to be 120 over 80 in my 20s and teens. I'm now in my 30s and my blood pressure is 90 over 60 consistently which is much better. I also are much more cool headed but I think that might also be because of the magnesium I take when I'm stressed although I have read where niacin helps with mood disorders."
