AGT
07/08/2010: Agt from Phoenix, Usa writes: "I am a previously healthy 35 year old male. Worked out 5 days a week before this mysterious illness started. I have always been prone to fungal skin and nail issues had some minor asthma and a lung infection. Couple broken bones and was diagnosed with seborrheac dermatitis 12 years ago or so. Had blood poisoning as well in my teen years. For the last 7 months myself and my close family have exhibited odd symptoms. Mine have been very severe and included about 45 pounds of weight loss that has been almost continuous no matter what I do or eat. I have run lots of blood tests and scans and found little but a bit of elevated albumin levels, fatty liver and swollen spleen with neck arthritis. My pH is almost always acidic and I have been on a pretty clean and healthy diet for months now. I can't afford all the necessary supplements but I am taking a fibrin reducing one, probiotic, digestive enzyme, organic multivitamin and glutamine 12-20grams per day. I try to keep in stock b50 complex and vitamin c if I can afford it. My naturopath has been trying to rotate support and attack herbs but as we only know there is a systemic yeast infection and not the root cause we try to work on that. I have diverticulosis as well as mild gastritis and my organs are really weak as is my digestion. I am trying to figure out where to start and what are the most important supplements/foods and ideas to keep alkaline without eating nothing but raw and no meat or fish. I realize the importance of alkalinity and know that I probably have leaky gut and parasites which seem to be pervasive. There is also an unknown vector of something reinfecting myself and family. Unsure if it is fleas or lice or what. Hoping you can get me on the right track to manage my yeast so my body stops catabolizing itself. Alkalinity and proper protein and nutrient intake as well as helping digestion and increasing absorbtion and possibly someweight gain would be nice. Organizing supplements in order of importance and possibly helping to stop this weight loss would be awesome. I have seen some drink recipes with baking soda but worry with poor digestion it will get worse with those. Thank you so much and God bless you. This is to Ted in the Candida forum. My email is pedro43017@yahoo.com and my name is Adam."
Replies07/09/2010: Tom from Regina, Sk replies: "Agt:Have you had any known exposure, either sudden (acute) or over time (chronic) to pesticides of any kind?
Your symptoms such as the fatty liver and swollen spleen do sound like poisons of some kind. If pesticides, then you can find out how much is in your blood literally with a 'chlorinated pesticide' blood test, done at private labs in the USA. Any search engine will give you results there. Maybe your HMO would know of it, but this test has been known and available since the 1980's, yet most don't know of it. I don't know the cost (maybe $150?)
Till then, the fastest way by far to help heal a fatty liver is to get some plain non-GMO lecithin from a health food store. A few tbsp per day should do it. It seems the overload of toxins have backed up the Phase I-Phase II toxin neutralization pathway and temporarily injured the liver cells. The other possibility for toxins you may have, since you mentioned your family, could be outgassing from some new furniture fabric, bedding, carpet, or clothes?
Finally, it's also possible it could be mould (mold) neurotoxins in your system perhaps from between the walls, in which case you can look at Dr. Shoemaker's site at www.chronicneurotoxins.com to match up your symptoms and read up on treatment."
07/09/2010: Bill from San Fernando, Luzon, Philippines replies: "Hi Agt. . . I had Candida 4 or 5 years ago and managed to get rid of it using Ted from Bangkok's remedies. First, here is a link that will help you to understand the necessity for body alkalinity which would certainly be very effective at getting rid of your candida problem:
Alkalinity and Sodium Bicarbonate
Here is a link to a comment stream where, in several detailed comments, I completely describe what protocols, herbs and supplements I used to rid myself of candida(my old anti-candida protocol):
Candida Protocol
When I used this protocol I did not know what I know now from Ted's remedies -- 4 or 5 years later. My old remedy took a whole year to get rid of my candida, but Ted has said that you can get rid of it within four months. Here is the protocol I would use now to get rid of candida now:
To Improve your Body Terrain
*Take Ted's Lime/Lemon alkalizing remedies at least 2 times a day as recommended. These alkalizing remedies create the worst possible environment for the candida while simultaneously creating a healthy body terrain. Also take the BS with water remedy on it's own one hour before bed - this will help you get a good nights sleep. If you have problems with this, then use Ted's Carbicarb remedy -- this is more balanced and incorporates potassium to balance any sodium issues. Potassium citrate can be taken to more directly aid intracellular alkalization. See this link and read Ted's description.
*Take at least 2 tablespoons of VCO per day to help constipation and intestinal issues. VCO contains mainly medium chain saturated acids, very protective for the intestines, liver and blood. Contains lauric acid, caproic acid, caprylic acid and myristic acid -- these act as anti-microbials helping to destroy the candida as well as protecting the intestines from any further external microbial invasion. See this link. I don't use vegetable oils anymore, I cook only with VCO now.
*Take herb supplements like Milk Thistle or Dandylion because the candida die-off will create a big strain on both your immune system and the liver which will have to clear the dead candida debris and toxins from your blood. Think of this as taking out the candida trash. This die-off will give you flu-like or liverish symptoms and perhaps some diarrhea. Accept this and work your way through it as it should disappear once your body gains control again.
*Detox and get rid of heavy metals from your body. Due to diet and if you've taken medicinal drugs for any length of time you will have an accumulation of heavy metals. To get rid of this just drink green tea 2 or 3 times a day and eat Cilantro 3 times a week in salads. You can also use Sodium Thiosulphate to get rid of heavy metals, arsenic, cyanide and chlorine. These will get rid of heavy metals over time. Heavy metals create an ideal acidic environment for candida as well as for nanobacteria. Se this link for more details on ST.
Remedies that Directly Attack the Candida
*Drink 1/4 teaspoon of borax(20 Mule Team Borax) in a litre of water throughout the day. Take this for 4 days on then rest for 3 days. So, 4 days on, 3 days off with the Borax. Borax is the ultimate anti-fungal, also good for bones and helps to balance the hormones as well as leeches out the fluoride from your body. Borax affects and raises your male hormones or androgen levels, which is why you must rest for 3 days -- to avoid gland over-stimulation. Read about Borax here.
*Methylene Blue(MB). You can buy this at any aquatics or fish supply store. Used to get rid of fungal and bacterial infections on fish. Also used throughout the last century as a successful anti-malarial. Taking MB on its own will turn your urine green and the whites of your eyes blue, but if you take at least 1000 mgs Vitamin C with the MB, these side-effects will not occur. Dosage: Two drops of a 0. 1% solution of MB in a full glass of water once or twice a day. Do not take MB after 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon - it gives you alot of energy so you will not be able to sleep! ! (I learned this the hard way. . . LOL) MB is a deep acting anti-fungal that is able to penetrate the blood/brain and blood/bone barriers of the body. MB is also a marvellous mitochondrial super anti-oxidant for your brain -- gives you lots of energy. Read about MB here.
*Supplementing with at least 12. 5 mgs of 5% lugols iodine per day -- two drops a day in a glass of water. You probably know the story of Dr Orian Truss, candida and lugol's iodine. See this link. Iodine will also help to balance your hormones and is also able to remove dangerous halogens like fluorine and bromine from your body.
*Hydrogen peroxide(food grade) I just use a capful of 3% HP in one litre of water a day when I need it. Sometimes I splash 3% HP all over my body, this kills everything bad topically as well as being absorbed quite well transdermally into my body by this method. Very potent against all forms of bacteria, viruses and fungus. See this link for more on HP.
Additional and Useful Vitamin and Mineral Supplements
*Vitamin C - Taken in the more alkaline form of Sodium Ascorbate -- at least 1000 mgs twice a day. Vit C is an anti-oxidant and also chelates heavy metals as well
*Magnesium -- Taken as Mag Chloride, Mag Citrate or Mag Gluconate. Dosage: 250 mgs twice a day. Magnesium is involved in over 300 major enzyme body processes and also gets rid of any staph or strep bacteria quite well. Magnesium Chloride is the best form of magnesium in my opinion. See this link.
*Natural Sea Salt or Fulvic/Humic Acid. Both of these will act in the same way as absorbtion synergists as well as help createà a healthy intestine and help to supply other much needed minerals to your body.
Diet
Avoid the following: all sugar and sugar foods, dairy, vegetable oils, aspartame, sucralose, saccharine, soft drinks, junk foods, fried foods, baked goods containing white flour, red meat. Your diet should contain low amounts of white meat like chicken, turkey and fish with high amounts of vegetables. Rice is OK. See this link for more descriptions from Ted on Candida.
For parasite problems see Ted's recommendations here:
Parasite Problems
Another useful anti-parasite protocol is Hulda Clark's -- using tincture of Black Walnut, Artemesia, cinnamon, clove etc.
Regarding your common family illness problems you should investigate the following as possible causes:
* Poor common family diet
* Fungal and other infestations in your house. Poor plumbing, septic tank leakage.
* District or Common neighbourhood medical problems caused by poor local sewage disposal, poor water supply or a nearby chemical processing plant etc."
03/09/2011: K from Sacramento, Ca Usa replies: "Bill, I have symptoms of candida. Used a drug to help kill parasites and suffered immediate, severe hair loss. I stopped the drug immediately. What would you do to promote hair regrowth if you were me. I see so many things and don't know which to do. I am afraid topicals will make it worse, thinking of cayenne and olive oil topically.
thanks"
06/28/2011: Emily from Paducah, Ky replies: "Hi Bill from San Fernando, Luzon, PhilippinesI was wondering if fruit is allowed while on this diet? Thanks."

06/23/2011: Aj from London, United Kingdom writes: "Hi I'm 34 yrs old female, had my baby 2.5 years ago. During last trimester of pregnancy I got melasma on my cheeks. Post delivery I ate about 12 Kgs of Carom seeds, black cardamom and fennels seeds over a period of 6 months with a vegetarian diet. I stopped breasfeeding after 6.5 months of delivery, but my melasma didn't fade, in fact I started to have constipation. Now my skin is very dull, its sagging and melasma is still there, plus over a period of time my constipation has become so bad that I can't pass on without taking a medicine.. I was diagnosed with Zinc deficiency (through hair analysis test) about 4 months ago, then I started to take Zinc supplement (45mg daily). M I'm on above supplements for about 15 days (except the ones I started later like GSE, Sellenium etc. ). Since I have started this my joint pains have increased to a great extent, all my joints are very stiff and its hard for me to walk properly. My melasma looks a bit dark at times and my skin is getting very dull and a kind a dehydrated. I get headaches frequently (though not severe) and have vomit feeling as well. At times I feel like dizzi and not alert, at times feel like I will fall, tired and weak. Though I wasn't very health before starting these supplements but since I started them it has become much much severe then it used to be before. Not sure if all is working fine, since read copper detoxification gives rise to such symptoms. Anybody expreinced the same or similar stuff?? how long is it expected to continue?? how would I know if my copper is balanced now/ Recently my GP has taken a blood sample (results awaited in next 2-3 weeks) to test Artheritis, Thyroid (since I have started feeling too cold, I switch on my heater even then others will be moving around in sleevless tops complaining of hot weather), calcium and vitamin D imbalances. Any idea what all could be going on with me??"
07/25/2011: Crystal from Kennewick, Wa replies: "Hi AJ,Sorry to hear about your troubles. Have you looked into essential fatty acid deficiency? I didn't see where you are supplementing your intake of efa's and some of your symptoms do sound like an efa deficiency, especially omega 3 and 7. You could do some research into this. The rule of thumb I go by is 15 mg of omega 3 per lb of body weight.
Good luck and health to you.
Crystal"
09/20/2011: Mcp from Magnolia, Tx replies: "I am new to this site but read about your difficulties and would like to suggest you read up on ingesting food-grade diatomaceous earth for your skin, hair growth and joint problems. I would never have believed something so simple could achieve the positive results I've gained - some I wasn't even seeking at the time! I thoroughly stir 1 tablespoon of Earthworks DE into (any) chilled tomato juice morning and evening. The tomato juice density keeps the DE suspended and therefore easy to swallow all. Anything thick works best.I agree with the addition of EFA's and Vit D. Many benefits to those. I also use GSE for illness but not that many drops as a preventative measure. It might be caustic on your sensitive stomach right now.
Wishing you renewed health."
09/24/2011: Sally_oh from Escazu, San Jose, Costa Rica replies: "Just wanted to put in my 2 cents for D.E. (food grade) and iodine for my thyroid (my resting body temperature had dropped to 96 degrees which is quite low). I take 10 drops a day of Lugol's 2% solution and 1 Tbsp of DE in a little water before bed. A little while after my BS/ACV after dinner cocktail!"

Then with shortness of breath, fever, and blood in his bowels. They have run so many tests on him and sent him to another doctor. They say that he does not have mrsa. They look just like mrsa sores. I am afraid that they have gone into his lungs that's why he has shortness of breath and chills. He has been broken out now for three weeks he has about 35 sores some are large and very painful some are small. He has been very very sick. He has not been to a specialist yet. I just want him to see a doctor and find out what in the worlds whats going on with him."

05/01/2011: Ally from Jerusalem, Israel writes: "Dear Wonderful Earth Clinic Friends,
I love earthclinic and have used many remedies from this site. I started hydrogen peroxide inhalation method and it has been fantastic for my scleroderma pain. I have a question, though -- I have a problem which is that my "hair hurts" -- sometimes it can be tremendously painful. I guess there is a problem with the folllicles. If I shave my head -- ie no hair -- then I have no pain (this is not a big deal for me as I cover my head for religious reasons anyway)! However, I was wondering if there is a solution for this problem? Thank you in advance!!"
Replies05/01/2011: Mmsg from Somewhere, Europe replies: "my solution for this is: drinking plenty of water. If I don't, I get this same thing, especially when washing my hair. shaving won't help much, I tried that too."
05/02/2011: Pam from Casper, Wyoming,u.s.a. replies: "It may not be a problem with your hair but the weight of your hair. When my hair was waist length it would also hurt. If I pulled my hair up into a bun or pony tail it would hurt even worse. After I cut my hair just below my shoulders and cut layers into it no more sore hair and a lot fewer headaches. You can try scalp massage for lymph drainage as well."
09/24/2011: Sally_oh from Escazu, San Jose, Costa Rica replies: "About 3 months ago, I started washing my hair with baking soda. I have short hair so take about 2 Tbsp in a plastic container in the shower. I mix a little water in it and pour it, little by little, on my head (I ignore the ends of my hair). I rub in well and comb my fingers through my hair until it feels kinda slippery and I know the BS has dissolved all the way. Then I rinse and dry. I don't use any other product on my hair. At first, I couldn't get my hair really clean and I was told that is because my head was producing a lot of oil to make up for the harsh detergents it had grown accustomed to. It took about 3 weeks (and no one noticed that my hair was not super clean -- it just didn't look shiny) for the oils to settle down. Now my hair is shiny and soft and looks great. AND I had a small skin cancer sore that is gone and a mole on head that is almost gone. Maybe it will help with a sore scalp!I got my son to do this -- he has long thick hair and his hair looks so good now. Shiny and the ends are no longer dry. Really a nice change! "

11/28/2011: Connie from Slc, Ut writes: "Hi Anonymous ; It's encouraging that you have some improvement, but the remaining symptoms are still to hard to bear. My guess is that the B12 in the supplement isn't being absorbed properly and that there is a need for more of it to be taken in a more easily absorbable way. Consider adding a sublingual lozenge of methylcobalamin ( an active type of B12), daily. 1000-5000 mcgs. is the average amount for many people, some need more or less. This is what helped with my own multiple chemical sensitivities.
As I recall, it took some months to recover, 6 or so. It was slow, and I would forget that some odors no longer bothered me. Of course, some odors are warnings that we should avoid them. I see here that people have made excellent suggestions to you, so I'm just adding the B12 to them. It also lowered my pulse rate, stopped my dizzyness, and improved my lung function, in time. The brain fog can get in the way of remembering to take it daily, so it helps to set it out in a prominent place for a while, and to take it at the same time daily. Morning is a good time."
Replies12/15/2011: Anonymous from Gothenburg, Sweden replies: "Thank you so kindly for the replies, I sure have some ordering to do. I went to get a darkfield microskope analysis, with a live on-screen blood testing and the results were horrible.. It was even worse than expected :-SI have bad candida, beginning of blood clotting with fibrinic threads multiplying too rapidly, my immunity is so low that the doctor could not even believe it. She said it was the worse she has seen in my age, and that my stress level was so immensely high and that in combination with blood clotting, I could die from heart attack or stroke any time. I also have a very bad heavy metal poisoning and there are undigested food particles flowing around in the blood. My metabolism is incredibly slow which is why I probably can´t lose weight after birth and look bigger than during pregnancy. People keep thinking I am pregnant! Which I am not due to the fact that I am not capable of having intercourse due to pain down there after the birth. My healing is probably slow due to my low immunity. She said I risked rheumatoid arthritis and that she had seen 80 year olds with healthier blood. That together with my lung fungus and the fact that I so often am paralyzed by my multiple chemical sensitivity (or hyposmia, have hard time deciding) as well as chronic fatigue, dizziness, joint and backpain, breathlessness, ocd, as well as bouts of emotional instability after all this (can u blame me?) and aggressivity, sadness, hopelessness and then pain in my heart, my chest and my lungs makes me think I have no future.
The fact that I am aggressive and angry so often, and smash things makes my husband mad, and if I get angry at him for instance for spraying on parfume or opening a room where it smells like paint, I start fainting, losing breath and get rapid heart beat, when I wake up, I get extremely angry at him for exposing me to chemicals, and start screaming and crying, he tells me the worst things, pushes me back really hard if I push him, it ends with me scratching him, screaming in agony and shaking and fainting for hours. Doctor said that even small stress could make me get a heart attack, and he knows it. Still he tells me he hates me, I disgust him, that he wants me to die etc. That does not feel like there is a reason for me to live. I right now sleep on the bathroom floor since the isolation is good, and no smog from outside comes in. He sits outside screaming at me and calling me names. I cannot hold my child since his clothes smell like detergent, no matter if I clean it without. I wash some of his clothes with chemical free soap when I feel ok enough and then I can hold him. He doesn´t smile at me anymore and my husband said I am crazy and that he feels sorry that I am his son's mother. Hearing this day after I find out I will probably die was not exactly encouraging. I need energy to live and I have none and no real inspiration. Most people we know smoke, and they all think that I exaggerate and that smoke is nothing to complain about. That I keep fainting is just normal I guess. So, nobody comes to us since they can't smoke, I can't go anywhere, since everybody smokes. And not to mention parfumes, detergents, smog and everything that makes me faint, feel nauseous and breathless.
I am so sorry for the depressing post, if somebody helps me to survive, I promise to post a daily joke here, every day, and that I will be the most uplifting person ever ( I usually am). I just feel so alone, doctors cannot help me, and I have no support. Any suggestions are welcome, I will be forever grateful :-) Love u E.C. and all u dear, helpful beautiful people!"

10/17/2011: Anonymous from Gothenburg, Sweden writes: "I suffered immensly from mold exposure during pregnancy. The pregnancy fortunately went well despite this, and I was fine after escaping the mold, however, after the birth it all went downhill. I have several issues, mostly regarding ear itch, congested throat, excessive plegm, often with gray things, blue or lime green balls in it, (sometimes it also looks like dried blood), lung fungus, horrible back pain (inside the back if it makes sense, mostly not the bones themselves). Have been sleeping on the floor for months, the only place where it does not hurt to lie down, however, it is horrible to wake up, since I am always in lot of pain. Also my joints are painful and my knees hurt a lot. I have random pain everywhere, sometimes inside my arm, my hand, my leg, anywhere really. My sinuses and my throat, as well as my ear feels clogged. Every time I went to the doctor, they try to feed me antibiotics, which can kill me due to my lung fungus (don't know the sort, but that was the diagnosis, with the blood coughing and the rest... ). Last time, I was prescribed 6 (SIX! ) different antibiotics. Needless to say, I did not take any and do not want to go to the doctor anymore. They treat every single symptom by itself and make me sicker..
However, I am tired all the time and dizzy. I gave birth 4 months ago, but have no energy for my baby and running out of milk, which is horrible since he does not tolerate formula and breaks out in eczema so I do want to breastfeed him. I also have eczema on my left ankle bone and on the foot. The VCO has not helped much regarding the eczema or anything to be honest. My condition worsens every day and I am on the verge of suicide, have no energy whatsoever. I also experience signs of depression, OCD and agression. I find it extremely painful to have intercourse and am unable to use a small tampon even. It is extremely hard on my marriage and my husband has become emotionally and physically abusive after this hard period. He does not understand what I am going through. I have become extremely allergic to many substances after the mold, dust, smoke, detergents, strong smells... He does not take me seriously and aggavates it all by not being careful and fighting with me constantly, calling me names and causing me enormous stress every day. My health worsens by day, I have no wish nor energy to live, and I can't even stand up sometimes since I am so dizzy.
I have no idea what is wrong with me.. I assumed aspergillosis or systematic candida, do you think this is what it sounds like? I started taking collagen for my back, which helped, but I have such a strong brain fog, and forget taking stuff, doing daily chores etc.. I did oil pulling with sunflower oil, but had horrible side effects, too much plegm, rash, acne, eczema that I still have etc... Virgin Coconut Oil did nothing when oilpulling.. Virgin Olive Oil has been ok, but I feel not much difference, takes up phlegm a bit, but that is all.. I also take a probiotic shot with vco, and I take some sodium bicarbonate in water sometimes. When it gets bad I inhale some h2o2, but nothing really helps.. It does help to drink a bit for energy, but the day after I have some very bad side effects and I get dizzy and cannot get out of the bed because of the fatigue... I am not sure if this is because of the h2o2.. I also sometimes take magnesium citrate. I do not remember to take any of it regularly due to the brain fog.
My life has been taken away from me and I do not know what to do.. I have cut down on sugar, but I live in Sweden, where even dark bread is made with sugar... And I have such a low energy, and I breastfeed so I cannot change my diet dramatically.. Less bread, no added sugars, no aspartame or sweetners and almost no milk products except for probiotic and ricemilk. I cannot cook due to the pain and most of the food I eat is health portion microwave food. In the last few days I also started experiencing chest pains on the left side. I thought that I was having a heart attack, although no numbness on the left side. The blood pressure is rather ok, but my pulse has always been high, while the bp was sooo low during most of my pregnancy (due to mold?) Now it is normal- 117 -75, but the pulse is 91. I had some cayenne pepper yesterday and it actually went away!! But this morning it was back, which I again remedied with cayenne pepper. The Virgin Coconut Oil I am using every morning is without smell, and a yellow liquid which made me wonder, it seems it's not virgin.. The virgin one is supposed to smell of coconuts, right? Now I am thinking the chest pains are due to the Virgin Coconut Oil (CO?) after reading some warnings..
I am soo so lost. Feels like I am going to die, and when it doesn't I just want to die because I feel so tired of just barely surviving.. I really am on the verge of giving up, I don't want my son to grow up like this, watching his mother dying on the floor, walking like an old woman at the age of 30, not being able to use a deodorant or eat a cake or have a normal life. Watching me crying in agony over back, join and chest pain and screaming and yelling due to instable mental state.. I cannot do this anymore.. You are my last hope, PLEASE HELP ME.. Thank you for existing!"

10/17/2011: Debbie from Melbourne, Australia replies: "Hi, one of the best things you can do is to take iodine supplementation (lugols 5% if you can get it). Most people are deficient in iodine because it has been taken out of our food supply for the most part."Iodine is by far the best antibiotic, antiviral and antiseptic of all time" - Dr. David Derry.
If you have a fungus issue or mould iodine is the best option. If you have an iodine deficiency then the fungus and heavy metals and other problems take over the body. Iodine will also remove flouride and bromide from the body. The iodine is the key, the thing that keeps the body healthy. Also it is very safe for your baby and probably needed. If you have fungus/yeast, you have probably passed it along to your baby, especially breast feeding. The iodine will not harm your baby but antibiotics can wreak havoc on the good bacteria in the body for both you of.
Please spend time researching iodine. There are lots of youtube videos available. Curezone.com has a great iodine supplementation forum with people who have years of knowledge you can access and ask questions. There is a great book by Dr. Brownstein about iodine you should get if you can - google him.
Below is a link to what is needed to have with the iodine - they are called "companion nutrients" because the iodine works better if you have them. The Drs that devised them did so for breastcancer patients but they apply to anyone. They treated over 4,000 patients with the protocol.
Many people have a detox from the bromide overload in our body and there is info on the link on what to take if that happens. I usually take 1/4 tsp unrefined sea salt in water followed by 16 oz water until urination occurs. This allows the bromine to leave the kidneys. That is also mentioned on the link below.
Also stay away from microwaved food. It kills all the nutrients in food. You are better off throwing it away.
10/17/2011: Debbie from New London, Ct replies: "I am listening to every word you are saying and you sound exactly as I did about 4 years ago when I went thru an extremely scary case of anxiety/depression. What alot of people don't know is that when you are suffering from anxiety it drains your energy. In order for your organs to keep working properly the body automatically starts to shut down the outer part of the body to compensate. When this occurs you will have symptons of numbness/tingling in fingers and toes. Extremities will feel colder, extreme fatigue and feeling as though you can't get out of bed in the morning because you woke up drained and exhausted. Now here is where the real problem is. When you have all of these symptoms you will worry more and feel as though you need to see all these different doctors and take all kinds of test in order to relief yourself of this additional anxiety. What you really need to do is to tell yourself that these symptoms are just your body compensating to protect your vital organs and once you get your anxiety under control you will see these annoying symptoms gradually start to fade.A great website that helped me to understand this is AnxietyCentre.com. You don't even have to join the site, just read the information and listen to all the people who have written in with similar symptoms.
Best of luck to you. You are going to be OK."

You are fighting the good fight and are seeing some good results however short-lived. I have come to visualize "layers" of illness, and the tunnel syndrome of just where one is located somewhere from the top to the bottom. The further down the slope you are, the harder it is to get back up.So you Must fight the many symptoms all-at-once, to show at lasting progress. If someone in your area offers detox foot spa, go for it, if not, consider buying one for yourself. Also detox foot pads work well. Use garlic as food or supplement. For energy Ginsing, Ashwagandha, Foti. Get to a health spa and do major sweating. Take whole food multivitamin supplement w/ every meal.. Take some Lysine for immunity. Try ACV for cleansing and energy. Pray to God for sustanace, guidance. Milk your local physician for all he/she is worth. Take notes of your symptoms and discuss them with your Dr. Keep coming back here on E.C. for support. Ask your family and friends to be considerate of you as you are facing major health challenges."
10/22/2011: Maria from Gippsland, Australia replies: "Hi Anonymous from Gothenburg, Sweden, I don't know where to start so please bear with me. We have been through similar and have found that very few people understand how devastating it is. Anything you do seems futile but we did find that light at the end of the tunnel. I too had the coughing up of blood and we both had fatigue and severe depression. As I could not take an anti-depressant due to my liver we went on St Johns Wort and Vit-Bs 100mg for 6 months and they worked for both of us.Fenugreek taken as capsules may help with your milk supply. If you have family then ask for their help. Ask if they can help with meals and help care for your baby. If you do not know of any support groups in your area then ask your local council and maybe your Dr if they know of one.
You need to treat your lungs and your liver. What helped our lungs was the herb Tulsi also known as Holy Basil taken as tea and also as capsules plus the herb Arjunna taken in capsule form and the herb Neem taken as capsules. I bought them via an ebay seller. As your liver has been dealing with a massive toxin load it can cause bouts of anger. I took an ayurvedic product called Liv-52 DS (DS being the double strength one). As my liver was already damaged due to Hepatitis and Cirrhosis then with the mould exposure I was definitely in a bad way. After being on these 2 years my liver is now ok. My blood tests for liver enzymes now come back normal and I have no jaundice episodes.
Magnesium is also needed and alkalizing using Ted's recommendations. As we have lemons we used it. http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/alkalizing_formulas.html
Sunshine on bare skin will help with the pain. Most of all please know that there really is light at the end of the tunnel as some of have found. We will keep you in our prayers. Please post again with any questions or if you need encouragement."
10/27/2011: Anonymous from Gothenburg, Sweden replies: "I cannot thank you enough.. So encouraging, this made my day.. I just ordered a huuuge 9 kilo package from iherb and hope to get well... If it was not for all of you I would have given up.. I also developed psoriasis the last few days, so I hope to remedy this.. Maria from Gippsland, THANK UUUU, SO SO MUCH. I am excited to see my lungs clear up, I am forever grateful! And thank you all beautiful earth clinicers!"
11/27/2011: Anonymous from Gothenburg, Sweden replies: "Hey all, not getting better, only worse.. Now when the smog is in the air, Ijust can´t breathe at all... NOT EVEN INSIDE! My smell of smell is too sensitive, I feel the smell even inside, THROUGH THEWINDOWS! I am sitting on the floor in the bathroom and holding a towel over my mouth just to be able to breathe... I dont know if this is due to lungfungus I have but I feel like the smell is unbearable and feel like I will die from suffocation, that is how bad it is... I cannot feed my child, or eat or go outside due to smog.. I just want to die, I cannot take it, I don't want to live like this every day, I can not function. My depression is better, but I just cannot take this any more.. I take b50, quarcetin, neem, holy basil, magnesium citrate, cayenne, niacinamid, d3 and chlorella sometimes.. Somethng of this makes my urine smell horrible and it makes me sick. It also makes me unable to take any smell. What is wrong with me.. Just losing hope. I have been listening to all advices, but it is just getting worse.. HELP ME PLEASE!"
11/27/2011: Oscar from Syracuse, New York, Usa replies: "I have been experiencing very similar feelings, thoughts, and physiological conditions. I attribute these symptoms to my very diifficult birth. Did you have a difficult birth ? One where your oxygen supply was cut off due to a compromised umbilical cord ? Dr. Janov has discussed people who have had such birth experiences at length. He developed what he calls PRIMAL THERAPY and has a lot to say about all this. For now I just go with the feelings which are scary. Also codiene does offer some temporary relief, BUT, the symptoms can come back worse than before once the codiene wares off. Janov calls that phenomonon a PRIMAL REBOUND.I have not resolved this feeling yet but manage to get by with a combination of primaling it as best I can and the use of some codiene when I need to function. I would think you could get a prescription for codiene if you see a doctor familiar with the symptoms you described. There is a short discussion about such feelings here and there are other links from here about all this: http://primal-page.com/reflect1.htm#crybabies
Sadly, this PRIMAL THERAPY is NOT readily available, but there are a lot of self primalers out there who do make progress on their own. If you can manage to get help through Janov`s Institute, that is by far best. Most people cannot. If you are interested you may wish to give Janov`s Institute a phone call to find out if there are any certified therapists in your area. I could not find any on a web search but Janov`s Institute will know what is available. Here is Janov`s website: http://www.primaltherapy.com/
The reason I responded is because I seem to be going through something very similar myself and felt I should at least tell you about Primal Therapy....Oscar"
11/27/2011: Debra from Brisbane, Australia replies: "There are many of us like this. Do you also react to chemicals, perfumes, etc etc. They call it mcs or multiple chemical sensitivity. When I could live in a house I would fall off the toilet unconsconscious when a car came past (if the window was open). It got that way I could only go in a house if I had a blanket over my nose. I discovered eventually it was the paint and the floor coverings. There is some mention on here from Ted about a person who also couldn't tolerate formaldehyde and Ted himself used to have trouble with petrol. You can email me if you like debraphappy(at)yahoo.com.au. It can get THE most difficult way to live and so distressing (you need to be in a bubble) but there are some reasons for it. Some have been chemically injured, others it has built up slowly - metabolic disturbances, bad liver etc."
11/27/2011: Stella from Havelock, Ontario, Canada replies: "Hi:If there is a possibility that you have any kind of fungus living anywhere in your body, your answer to getting well, is Lugol's Liquid Iodine (5%) a drop each day in water for one week and then add another drop, until you reach maybe 8 drops or more.

11/28/2011: Debbie from Melbourne, Australia replies: "Dr. Orian Truss in the 1950's cured many people with Lugols iodine because he thought a lot of diseases were as a result of candida. He didn't just give one or two drops a day - he had great success with 6-78 drops 4 x per day for 3 weeks... He had great success.Read the article I have linked to. Best of luck
11/28/2011: Anonymous from Gothenburg, Sweden replies: "Thank u so so much, I will look into all of the options and get my vitamin levels checked on Wednesday. I already purchased b12 actually but have not taken them since I am already on b50 suppement and did not want to overdo it since I still try to breastfeed in the mornings. MCS sounds so, so, so much like me.. I cannot take this burning smell, smog, cigarettes, some detergents and perfumes, smell of firewood etc.. It does NOT come frrom the inside of my nose, other people smell it too, just hours after I smell it, or in less intensive way. So thank u for the suggestion, sure sounds like e, and it is much easier to look for help if I know what it is! I will try to order lugols.Today was a good day, however, I took boron yesterday and drank some sodium water, after reading Ted's suggestion about smell being ruled by hormones sometimes. I have not been able to lose any weight after birth probably due to imbalance in hormones. I took chelated boron and sodium and today I have smelled it, just not as bad. And some eucalyptus oil inhalation was enough to keep me in the living room... So boron is a good tip, at least it seems like it.. Will try the lugols and b12 and report back. The hard birth is probably not the reason since my mum had no problems with having me at all, but thanx for the comment, it might help many people in similiar situation! Thanx everyone 4 keeping me alive!"
11/29/2011: Debbie from Melbourne, Australia replies: "Oops meant to say 6-8 drops.... not more"

10/17/2011: Connie from Slc, Ut writes: "Hi Anonymous ; This is an urgent situation. If there is any chance of harming each other and children, contact should be avoided. An excellent counselor needs to be contacted. ( My strong opinion about counselors is that they should be able to set a good example themselves to be able to treat others. ) Next, the emotional symptoms listed : Depression, Irrational Anger, OCD, and even Suicidality are associated with B12 deficiency. Dizzyness can be a neurological symptom of B12 deficiency. Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, chest pain, and pain anywhere that there is a nerve may also indicate low B12. These symptoms mean that the B12 deficiency, for whatever cause, are advanced. Oftentimes, the whole family may need treatment. Injections may be needed either at first, or for life.
Supplements may also be effective, such as sublingual types, (methylcobalamin), 1000-5000 mcg. Daily. The symptoms may take months to improve. Dizzyness may continue in the first month, so stay steady. The whole B-complex is needed, low dose. Niacinamide is very calming and may be felt in an hour or so. I recommend 500 mgs. Or less. Sometimes more at one time can trouble the liver and cause nausea. 5HTP with B6, can also be calming, also takes about an hour. I see you're taking magnesium, good, transdermal applications are great because you can feel it when you need it. A high potassium diet, with mostly vegetables is great for nerves and moods. It's good to avoid simple sugars, simple carbohydrates because they disturb moods. Vitamin E and CoQ10 help nerves and dry tissues. Nutrient dense foods are most helpful, good fresh liver, fishes, etc. are great sources of B12."
Replies10/17/2011: Sylviag from Vista, Ca, Usa replies: "I have been on the receiving end of information from this wonderful site but felt compelled to now offer you some advice---PLEASE---pick up your phonebook, call your family or call your local hospital and talk to someone. You are suffering alone and you do need to speak with someone--if you cannot do it for yourself -do it for your baby---in the USA we have women's shelters and they are full of women who have husbands who "didn't understand"--don't worry about that--please try to ask for help--I'll say a prayer for you. The Chinese Herbalist is a wonderful idea- Do not give up."
10/17/2011: Anonymous from Gothenburg, Sweden replies: "Thank you so kindly, I have already ordered some b'complex and I have 5htp at home, but am relactant to take it since I am breastfeeding and a, not sure about the effects. My husband currently takes it and we are about to seek help and councelling. This has been taking its' toll on us, and I have not been myself for a year- smashing things, being irrationally aggressive and mad about everything, screaming and hitting, then forgetting what I was mad about 5 minutes later. During one period I had forgotten when my baby had eaten and one time he went 10 hours straight without food. Both me and my husband were convinced he had eaten about two hours earlier until we started counting hours.. So you are right, we both need some kind of help, since he also has been exposed to mold and caughing up blood... I most certanly will try the b-compley and slowly introduce the e vitamine and the recommended enzyme. By the way, after the cayenne, my chest pain is GONE!!! My chest is like new, no pain, no tightness.. True miracle! Thank you so, so much for taking your time to help me!!"
10/17/2011: Bess from Calgary, Alberta, Canada replies: "Dear Anonymous from Sweden - My heart goes out to you. No one should have to suffer like that. It looks like several people on this forum have given you excellent advice.I am wondering if you suffer from CFIDS (chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction syndrome). Also, after having a baby, your hormones can fluctuate wildly. According to Digestive Wellness, people with CFIDS are so fatigued that no amount of sleep is refreshing and the relentless tiredness reduces the individual's ability to function normally. Some of the symptoms are: inability to concentrate, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, muscle pain, multiple-joint pain, headaches, sleep disturbances, flu-like symptoms, low postural blood pressure, fevers that come and go, light sensitivity, depression (because of the extreme fatigue). Many people with CFIDS also have thyroid insufficiencies and other hormones that are out of balance. Most CFIDS sufferers have dysbiosis (which can manifest itself as irritable bowel syndrome, eczema, autoimmune illnesses and a host of other diseases) as well as candida.
If at all possible, please see a naturopath doctor or a nutritionally oriented health professional. Conventional doctors, as you have experienced, just hand out antibiotics which add to the problem.
I wish you the best of luck on your journey to renewed health. I hope you have access to family and friends who can support you emotionally, lend you a hand around the house and help take care of the baby while you take time to recover. Take care, Bess"
10/18/2011: Timh from Louisville, Usa replies: "Anonymous from Gothenburg, Sweden, Once my body & mind got all crazy like that and I made the transition from cheap over-the-counter vitamin/mineral suppliment to a real, live, and health-promoting V from health food store. I experienced major detox and relief of symptoms. If you are experiencing toxicity issues, it will no doubt also be expressed in your baby, so watch for those symptoms. As for mood, try eating Turkey for your last meal as it contains high levels of Tryptophan which is a parent amino acid to 5-hydroxytryptophan. Also, I find the German Dr. B. Hendel's Homeopathic Detoxifyer to work very well for me. Hope this helps and good luck!"

I have a long story but I won't bore you with it although, I will tell you please please check your B12 and your Vitamin D3 levels I suffer deficiencies of both these vitamins and had most of your symptoms which in turn affected my thyroid (also check this). A deficiency can do awful things to our minds and bodies unfortunately the doctors don't always check the simple things and miss it. If you are not getting outside to get enough sun this will cause your deficiency in the D3 and I have found most of us with allergies do suffer from B12 deficiency also..
Just by correcting these two vitamins will make you feel so much better and at least enough to be able to cope and have more energy to look after your baby, and most of all give you hope. Once you have started the vitamins it works very quickly and I would also take some magnesium, all these vitamins will help you with the dizzy feeling the aches and pains and also depression. I find the D3 and B12 make me feel happier, my B12 was so low I have to have regular injections and my D3 was also low that I could hardly get out of bed and I would just feel so bad I would just cry because I used to feel I was never going to feel better but I did so don't give up hope you will get better just keep trying different things until you know what suits your body. One more thing if you are still suffering a mold problem please take a Probiotic regularly. Good Luck...."

Aloe vera- Take off the sharp spikes, Cut up and eat, the cover skin, inside all healthy for you. Purlsane looks like weed.- Wash and eat, check to make sure no chemical spray on it. BILL
04/13/2011: Bill from Philly, Pa writes: "I have a question for Ted (and anyone else who has had a similar problem) since the end of October, about 6 months ago, I've been having a strange and gross anal discharge/leakage.
It started as a white kind of thick, pastey like substance. Over time it seems to have gotten thinner, more of a waxy and yellowish color. Sometimes it's very little and sometimes there's a little more. Never to where it's running or anything. Just to where I can feel it and need to go to the bathroom and clean up or take a shower if I'm home. Some days it seems to go back to the thicker white phase. Almost like a really thin cream cheese. Most of the time it's more of a greasy/waxy yellow. (I haven't actually touched it with my bare hands, I can only assume from wiping with toilet paper)
I've been checking on line for months now and haven't found exactly the same thing. A lot of people describe orange oil from eating fish or cashews. It's not that. Some describe a clear oily or puss like substance. It's not that either. I've also found people who describe a really disgusting fishy smelling stuff. After 3 or 4 months I finally forced myself to (close my eyes) and smell it. It hardly has a smell at all. Very faint and not like anything I could describe. Certainly not like anything that came from there, and not disgusting or fishy. Very strange. Also people have had these symptoms go along with their condition: stomach pains, constipation, diarrhea, painful BMs, bleeding, gas, cramping. I have had NONE of these. I don't believe it's from something I'm eating because there's nothing that I eat that much of for it to be going on for so long. I've checked here many times and haven't found anything either.
A few people with some of the problems I've described tried a peroxide enema (with water) and said that worked for them. But since their problems weren't really the same as mine I haven't done it yet.
The few that said they went to their Doctor have not gotten rid of it. They either gave them antibiotics that didn't work or just keep trying something else. One even said they had surgery that didn't do anything.
I know Ted is very busy with many requests for help and that is why I've avoided asking for so long and tried finding the answer myself. Now I'm really starting to get worried once I realized how long it's actually been. I would really appreciate any advice. (44 year old, male) Bill"
Replies04/13/2011: Dreedesoto from Houston, Texas, Usa replies: "After having anal fissures, hemmorroids, and colon cancer I can understand your wanting to find out the problem. Please look up this site - it has several causes -http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/symptoms/rectal_discharge/causes.htm
When I read your post I thought of Crohn's Disease but of course I'm not a doctor - Get it checked out Bill - Colorectal problems are NO fun."
04/15/2011: Donna from Swedesboro, Nj replies: "Bill you must see a Doctor because this may be the signs of Pancreatitis. Can become serious if left untreated for long periods. Until you can get to a Doctor, please follow a low-fat diet, this will ease the strain on your pancreas."
04/17/2011: Laura from Wake Forest, Nc replies: "Hi Bill,Sounds like either pus from an infection or candida. In either case, an enema of H2O2 (diluted to 3%) once a day for a few days should help, along with a protocol of no sugars, dairy, processed foods, plenty of probiotics taken on empty stomach, aloe vera juice added to the ACV tonic and consider taking H2O2, food grade, a few drops in 8 oz of water on empty stomach each day."

D.
06/06/2010: D. from UK writes: "dear ted
i am a forty one year old male, and i have suffered with bad health for approx twenty years now.
i lived life in the fast lane from about the age of 17 to 22, working, training and drinking and looking back now my diet wouldn't have been great either.from what i can remember it was around the age of 22 or 23 i started having trouble with my stomach, it started with acid reflux and so it was around this time i was diagnosed with the antidepresent prozak. i would have taken this for a few months without really thinking too much about what they were, obviously the results must not have been good as i went off them. that was the start.
over the next 12 or 13 years i had numerous hospital appointments where they put cameras up and down and done biopsys and found nothing, so they put it down to stress and called it irrital bowel syndrome. this is quite possible because when i think back now i was very stressed out at the time and didn't even know what stress was. i would have also taken different antidepresents during these years but never for more then a few months. i also tried alot of supplements.
most of my life i felt run down and as if there was something lacking, and i put it down to pushing myself too hard at work as i am a roofer and my job is very physical.
as time went on the irrital bowel got worse and i needed more sleep breaks due to headaches and fatigue. after reading up on these conditions i feel that this developed into leaky gut syndrome.
approx 5 years ago,the problems got much worse when my partner left and took my three small children with her.this caused me a great deal of stress and basically i think i suffered a nervous breakdown. i was prescribed more antidepresents including zanax, amitriptyline, centrax, seroxat and cymbalta which altogether i would have taken these over the period of two and a half years. when i did notice a slight improvment in mood and the ibs they did nothing for the headaches and fatigue.
i have not worked in the last 5 years as a new symptom has appeared and the best way i can describe it is a car with a broken altenator, when i do any physical work i get mentally shattered and takes me days to recover with lots of rest it's as if the battery runs down and theres nothing there to recharge it.
some nights i sleep okay and others not but one way or another i have to sleep for two hours maybe more in the daytime due to a pain in my forehead that only sleep will cure.
due to this wonderful website and your brilliant advice i'm having good results stomach wise with the alkalising formula of lemon/bs for three or four days a week and baking soda on its own after meals for the rest of the days. i also started using acv and cayenne pepper on salads and anything i fry is done with grapeseed oil but the fatigue and the headaches haven't changed.
i recently got my children back and since finding this website i finally think that i've found someone who knows what they're talking about and so i'd be really gratefull if i could get a reply from you ted detailing what i need to do so as i can get on with my life and look after my children in as normal a way as possible,
thank you so much. "

09/04/2010: Carly from Seattle, Wa Usa replies: "My 50 year old husband had very similar symptoms - he had his testosterone levels checked (be sure to include your "free testosterone" level as well) - and he had the T level of an 80 year old man! (actually, he had less than that) Look up the symptoms of low testosterone and see if any of them fit... Good luck to you."
02/16/2011: Christy from Ny replies: "Hello,
My brother was diagnosed with hypogonadism and his symptoms were very much like yours. Might be worth having your thyroid checked for this. He must use a topical steroid every day (which I hope will end some day) but also he has changed his diet dramatically (Paleo) and has had amazing results.
Grain or gluten intolerances might be triggering some of your symptoms too (and these are also related to thyroid problems which happen to be hereditary in my family). Grain/gluten intol would also explain your leaky gut too.
Hopes this might help a little bit. And I pray that you are on the road back to wellness ASAP! .
All the best,
Christy"

DEANNA
05/17/2011: Connie from Slc, Ut writes: "Hello Deanna; I see you have many horrific symptoms and that you have used exhaustive measures to find their cause. I would like to suggest that a B-12 deficiency may be a part of the cause of most of these symptoms. It has been used for allergies to sulfa drugs, molds, etc. It has also been used, in conjunction with B-Complex, to treat hyperpigmentation of the skin along with various lesions, including papulosquamous skin disease. B-12 is used to treat many neurologic conditions, including Bell's Palsy. I have found it to help with my own cachexia, in that it increased my appetite and I was able to rebuild muscle. I take a good B-complex orally, (it helps with stomach acid formation for appetite), and I take a sublingual B-12, methylcobalamin, because I have a malabsorption difficulty. This active form of B-12 doesn't need to be converted by the liver, so it is more easily utilized by the body if there is liver, stomach, or intestinal absorption trouble. Testing B-12 serum levels may be helpful, but results may be skewed by instances of; dysbyosis, (sometimes excessive B-12 analogues are formed but are not usable), a troubled liver may be expelling B-12, or autobodies may be causing a large release of B-12 into serum. A serum test reveals status of active and inactive B-12, and the active form is most desirable. But still, its the best we have, with that understanding.
Many patients and researchers believe that the normal range should be higher than it is now. Here in the US, the normal range is, 193-982 pg/ml. Some people only feel well at levels above 1000 pg/ml. Some researchers feel that the normal range should include 600-2000 pg/ml. Some people respond well with monthly injections, and others combine them with daily sublinguals. I'm still finding my own range, so I'm taking between 2500 -5000 mcgs. of sublingual methyl B-12 daily. When beginning therapy, it is recommended that dosage should be more frequent and or higher initially, then may be reduced after a month. Potassium levels should be observed because they may drop due to new blood cell formation. I hope this may provide relief for you."

I was healthy almost 2 years ago this july and I got bit in my yard and was also exposed to toxic waste from sewer and exposed to rat and mice feces and rotted vegatation. I sat in an unclean doctors office, everything I can think of from being healthy to my state now. I broke out in hives after the bite, then sores started to spread, I went to the doctor who gave me sulfa, I am allergic to sulfa. Sulfa and sulfer are not the same thing right?
Anyway I was tested for mrsa, 2 times negative, lymes by blood test 2 times negative, scraped for scabies nothing , then biopsied and they found on my arms squamous cell carcinome, my legs are horrible they called that post inflamatory hyperpigmentation but from what? Why did my legs get dark brown spots and scales, my back looks like acne scars and still red sores but nothing. Saw a psyphologist he said they are not stress sores. They come sometimes these spots 3 in a row to 15 in a rown all brown spots all over my body. I did have what I thought was ringworm til my face got bells palsy. My biggest concern is what this is and why I had clear lungs now I do not. Can it be fungal ? My concern is Cachexia.
I am 5'1 and weigh now 100 pounds. I look anorexic. I want to live and no doctors really want to help me. So I am here no other place, I am trying to alkalize my body for the squamous cell, I do not know what to use for an anti-fungal and or parasites like hulda says parasites causes cancer but also fungus causes cancer. So how can I treat this all at once and regain my health. I do not know where to get black walnut ground fresh cloves and there was one more for anti-parasitic. Garlic for fungal, and what else do I need. What vitamins will bring back muscle tone? There is someone on the net selling vitamins for cachexia but I know someone will know here.
Also phil from dearing posts a lot here. On the news here local news, many people getting sores in Augusta, and no doctors can diagnose it, it wa broadcast on WRDW News. Many here walking aroung with unknown sores. I have no fibers, sometimes black granules but they may be small scbs underneath the scab. I threw almost everything away and matresses, clothes all in plastic bags just in case. How do I get rid of the brown thick spots? My skin is ruined bad and no one ever had this in my family.. Where can I find the answer to my post on latest posts. Ted I send everyone I know here. I believe the Lord had this site for all who do not want radiation, chemo, or any illness from any diseases. My ph is still 6.5 so should I do 1/2 teaspoon full 2 times a day and get magnesium and potassium. Should I add the apple cidar vinegar. Please help me get better. I am sick of being sick. God Bless You all.

Please consider finding a LLMD, Lyme Literate Medical Doctor and have your Lyme test done via Igenex Lab. Your symptomology is screaming LYME! I am by no means a doctor but have been through the crazy Lyme roller coaster over 12 years. The testing is extremely unreliable, the medical professionals have been misinformed by the CDC and IDSA. There is a covert effort to keep the true facts regarding Lyme quiet. I can offer a written explanation with cited studies and facts to back my claims. I have no desire to be correct and you in fact do have this because it is not something I would want any person to endure the devastation it has the potential to do to ones life. This is an emerging epidemic on a larger scale than Aids, West Nile combined and too important for me to not at least tell you all these things. I risk my personal reputation to do the right decent thing. The link below is the summary of the paper I mentioned with link to full paper with cited sources of studies etc. , for backing up the statements with explanations why this cover up exists. http://lyme.kaiserpapers.org/20-reasons-why-lyme-disease-is-undiagnosed-summary.html
This is not a boring read and I guaranty you will be amazed what is happening . I can say from my own experience with skin issues just like you describe, identical in fact, that what helped mine is head and shoulders shampoo in the blue bottle with selenium sulfide in it used as a body wash daily, a mixture of ACV and hydrogen peroxide equal parts and a little water applied daily for 15 minutes and then gentle use of a buff puff all over and then rinsed off. Daily use of Oxy pads salicylic acid. This regime followed takes some time to clear these up but once started no new spots have appeared for me. I do still have the dark but scaling is diminished and dark fading. I get white spots too where the pigment is lost. There is a fungal component to this and ketoconazole 2% shampoo may need to be used as an alternating wash for a few weeks now and then.I have suffered 12 years with this and this regime is the only thing that has helped even though slow as the dickens. But this will be my first summer I will be able to wear shorts and sleeveless top with out total embarrassment. I was told it was all sorts of things same as your self, scabies and all right down to the cancer. I am a registered nurse and am telling you what my years of research found that worked for me and not saying it will for anyone else so please don't take as medical advice, just my shared experiences :) I also drink two tall glasses of water with a lemon juice daily to help alkalinize, many pathogens don't like it so helps them from making themselves comfortable in the body. I wish you all the best and answers come for you to heal. Vicki"

Re: Open to Debate: What's with this salt/Vitamin C Lyme disease cure?
Hi Rita,
This is Rosemary from Australia. We emailed each other a few years ago and I got a lot of help from you. I have Lyme 29 years, misdiagnosed as CFS 22 years. Four years of anti-biotics did not work as I was in the last stages and believe I was dying. I used a walking frame for years and a wheelchair sometimes. I was falling over due to lack of balance, had terrible neurological problems, was mostly housebound, etc. My doctor had run out of ideas. I suggested the salt & C. She is a very conservative orthodox doctor, but encouraged me to try the protocol as she sould not see any dangers in my case.
I began slowly building up the doses of salt & C until I reached about 8 grams, which was OK for my very low weight. I knew the salt & C was helping me and 3 years down the track I am on a low maintenance dose and doing really well. The treatment was gruelling and not easy, buit it has worked! I traveled to Canada, USA & Hawaii last year. I hiked in mountains, slept in a tent and did things I only dreamed about prior to salt & C. This year I have been traveling in Australia. I am doing many things I haven't been able to do for nearly 30 years. I can even drive again.
I had very low BP, but salt & C has really helped so much. My eyes are finally yoking together and my neurological damage has mostly reversed. My doctor agrees and is amazed by my progress.
I have a Townsend article which explains how salt & vitamin C cause osmotic shock to Bb. I also have a Pub Med article which explains how Bb cannot reproduce in certain concentrations of salt.
I am happy to send them to you.
I love salt & C and believe it has saved my life.
Kind regards,
Rosemary."05/17/2011: Debbie from Melbourne, Australia replies: "Please note the salt is celtic salt or real salt (unrefined) not table salt."

The fingers and thumb on my right hand seemed to move in together (and sort of clench) and for a split second I could not move my fingers and then it seemed to relax and all was fine. No pain just a weird sensation. My hand even looked strange. Nothing like that has ever happened to me before so I was wonderful if anyone has a clue if it is the start of something?"
Replies04/17/2011: Shakonda from Los Angeles, Ca replies: "Hi Debbie, I had these same symptoms as a child and had to visit a nutritionist to find the answer years ago. My potassium levels were low which caused the involuntary clenching of my fingers. I was told to eat more bananas. These days I take potassium and kelp drop which I just add to water. Got them at whole foods for around four dollars."04/17/2011: Kay from In The Valley, Ca replies: "I hate to be an alarmist, but I would get to a doctor asap. I don't think this is something to be ignored. At the least, maybe a muscle spasm, at the worst, a mild stroke. It could have been a warning sign of something worse to come. Don't ignore it! This could be your chance to stop something from progressing. At least if you know where you stand, you can make your own decision as to your course of treatment. Good luck."04/17/2011: Debbie from Melbourne, Australia replies: "Shakonda and Kay thanks for your responses. I will go to the Dr today and see if I can get a blood test. I actually do think I might low potassium because one of the symptoms is the skin above your eye coming down a bit and mine has. I have also been sick quite a bit lately (vomiting) and don't know why I have. Maybe they are related. Thanks."04/19/2011: Lily from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia replies: "Hi Debbie, vomiting will cause potassium deficiency. Molasses is very high in potassium, maybe give that a try. Lily."04/20/2011: Debbie from Melbourne, Australia replies: "Thanks to all who responded to my post. From the attached article I am wondering if I was ingesting too much bicarb soda and I was becoming too alkaline. I was adding bicarb soda to my ACV and also taking Green powder. I was taking ACV morning and night and adding the bicarb both times.
I also read that baking soda neutralises the stomach acid and stops the acids from breaking down the food.
I also had a couple of baths with baking soda which may have disrupted my sodium/potassium balance & overloaded me with sodium depleting my potassium.
I am rethinking whether we should add Baking soda to ACV. What does everyone else think?
04/20/2011: Lily from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia replies: "Hi Debbie, I take the baking soda in the ACV just sometimes. I used to take it in the ACV all the time but decided to try it without and found my acid reflux was eliminated, whereas before with the baking soda it seemed to stick around or return later. I don't know if baking soda depletes potassium but there are so many things that do. I googled potassium rich foods and found sites that explained all the details of potassium deficiency. Cheers Lily."

I have visited many doctors without much results or any real treatments. I even had neck surgery and later found I didn't need that type of surgery. During reading my medical records I found written by a phd found the patient to have some thing foreign/not sure until further tests.
I was later diagnosed by a neurologist so many things there isn't enough room here to write it in this forum. How-ever another phd report states some thing organic(?)Now I do know that all diseases start in the brain and settle in the base of the spine, when an immune system is comprimised that disease what ever it maybe will arise and cause deep trouble unless treated right away. I did find that organic is mold/fungus; as a young child I lived in a very cold damp house, when I was sleeping room my temp. Would go way down instead of opposite; thus my room was already cold & damp plus my body felt like it was below zero. In the summer I was very cold but my face was burning up. So today I am handicapped and doing my very best to stay above water and beat the system as a science project and either try to reverse my problem or the least try to stablize the problem.
Since I have come into this god send of an awsome website, I am feeling a bit better and not quite as many dizzy spells. My best feature is I have an open mind and willing to try most anything, of course there are a few stepping stones where I do read up on much more of the info. Before just jumping into any situation. I'm the type of person thats in a great hurry to find my cure, but again God allowed me this freedom and this amount of time to do what I need to do. So here I am searching. As I said this American state of mind has found this country to be 100% musty, moldy, humidity, continous dampness therefore we all have chances of mold/fungus(as Drs. quote) according to how we live? enquote: good luck, keep up the good work and keep searching and asking those questions, even if you don't get an answer right away it comes to you in other ways."

1BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS 01/16/2011: E.m.d. from Recluse, Wy Usa writes: "Hello, everyone. After perusing this site for a few months, I've finally decided to post something in the hopes that you might have some good ideas for me.
I'm a twenty-nine year old female with an undiagnosed health condition. I've had this condition to varying degrees for as long as I can remember. It worsened around the time I was twelve, backed off a bit for about thirteen years, and got very bad after I had our beautiful daughter two years ago.
In terms of symptoms, mine can rapidly become extreme. They start as a "brain fog" and the loss of fine-motor skills. I become irritable (which is not my usual demeanor), and my ability to reason logically is greatly impaired. Next, I usually start to hyperventilate, and then my breath catches and I am not able to breathe in. That's the really scary bit, but I think it only lasts for a few seconds. Then I collapse, curl up into a ball, start crying (if I haven't already), lose all basic control of my muscles, and on occasion have mild hallucinations. The odd thing is that I have never passed out. However, I have short-term memory loss during that time. I will remember one thing very clearly though; it's usually the color of the ceiling, a couch, etc. to pull me out, we have to give me about a quarter of a diabetic sugar tab and a couple of large spoonfuls of peanut butter. It will take me a few of hours to recover fully, but on occasion I have not been back to normal for a couple of days.
Now, I start to have symptoms every two hours. That means I have to eat about every two hours. Nuts, meat, and eggs usually help to keep it under control. However, there are times when I will "crash" no matter what I eat. For a long time, I thought that protein was the key. Unfortunately, beans, soy, lentils, quinoa, buckwheat, and milk products (cheese, yogurt, etc. ) do not help at all. Sugar and glycine will pull me out of a "crash" quickly, but, as I said above, I have to counter them with nut butter.
I understand that my symptoms are very similar to a blood-sugar imbalance. Yet, I've been tested three different ways for that, and they all came back saying that my insulin levels were, not only okay but, very healthy. I have had a basic heavy metals test, and a food allergy test: They both came back with nothing very unusual. I had a brain chemistry test done through a company called Neurogistics (they're a great company who treat brain imbalances with over the counter supplements). My test came back that I'd been under high stress for a long time, but there wasn't anything terribly off. I went followed their recommendations on supplements, and it helped my brain to relax and cured my insomnia. However, I did not help my pre-existing condition.
My symptoms can also be triggered by stress. Yet, I do not think it is psycho-somatic, because my Mother and my Sister also have similar symptoms. I do have a slightly under-active thyroid, but, even when I was taking a prescription, it did not help.
I am currently taking two tsp. of ACV twice a day, and a glyconutritional supplement. I have not noticed any long-term differences with the vinegar, but the glyconutrients do help me to recover faster. I know glyconutrients are a bit iffy for some people, and I am not sure exactly what it is in it that helps. I have wondered if it is the aloe? I would love to know, so that I wouldn't have to spend so much on the supplement I am currently buying! Also, sports drinks tend to help clear up my head, and I can only assume it is the potassium. I exercise six days a week, and am in every other respect a very healthy person.
I've seen a slew of Dr.s and people who practice natural medicine. However, I keep just getting more puzzled looks.
I am sorry for the long post. If you have any ideas I would be very grateful. Plus, you would probably help my whole family! Thank you so much for reading this and for your help!"

Is there any way to get to an emergency room and have blood work done while you are suffering an episode? My heart goes out to you, raising a todler is hard enough when you are in perfect health. At times with adrenal insufficiency your blood sugar tests may appear normal when they are not. There's a great book called Adrenal Fatigue: The 21st Century Stress Syndrome by James L. Wilson that may help you in your quest for information. Hope you are feeling 100 percent very soon. Wishing you all the best!"01/17/2011: Laura from Redondo Beach, Ca, Usa replies: "From reading all your symptoms, it seems more like a nutrition issue to me. Without knowing your regular diet I cannot be sure, but it is hard to get all the nutrients we actually need sometimes even on a very good clean diet. I would suggest a green supplement, Amazing Meal. I would suggest making a blended drink with this and adding 2tblspoons chia seeds (soaked in 1 cup water), 1 or 2 pieces of organic fruit and some non filtered apple juice. I would drink this everyday for breakfast. It will give you much needed nutrients, the chia will sustain you for awhile and provide you with omega 3s and antioxidents, and the barley grass in the amazing meal and the chia will cleanse you daily. You could also add 1 teaspoon of Maca powder. It is known for regulating hormones and is great for overall vitality. You can order all these products at vitacost.com or get them at a good healthfood store. The symptoms you have are very mysterious and confusing. I wouldn't be suprised if this took care of it completely, but even if it doesn't, I think you will benefit from the extra added nutrition you will be getting. I wish you well!"
01/19/2011: Lemarque from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia replies: "Hi E.M.D.I found your post regarding your unexplained symptoms very interesting. It seems as though you have thoroughly examined the blood sugar aspect and as yet have found nothing to explain your symptoms. I read also that you have had neuro-testing which has shown high level stress but otherwise nothing predominantly physiological. I note that you feel that your symptoms are not psycho-somatic, and strictly speaking, I would have to agree.
However, I think you may have to consider that your symptoms in the absence of a physiological cause could be a rather severe form of "anxiety-attack". I have seen and treated several people with anxiety that presents with very acute physical symptoms. For one person it was almost as if she was having a grand mal epileptic seizure, for another it was like a severe asthma attack. Interestingly you say that your mother and sister have similar symptoms and I assume they too have not been able to find an underlying cause. "anxiety attacks" can have a strong familial trend especially in the female lineage. Since this has been an issue since a very young age with yourself, it is important that you sit with your family and try to figure out if there was any traumatic or upsetting event that occurred in your childhood or theirs that may have been a trigger to your current situation. It may be worth while seeking the help of a counsellor to do this, as often what seems like an insignificant event turns out to be the causative agent.
In the meantime you could try a 2 week course of Rescue Remedy (Bach) or Emergency Essence (ABFE) and follow that up with a more specific essence for anxiety such as a combination of Aspen, Cherry Plum, Olive and Star of Bethlehem (Bach) or Calm and Clear Essence from ABFE. I hope you find your answer Best Wishes"
01/22/2011: Granny Laura from Waco, Tx replies: "Have you tried chromium? My late husband would get really ill if he was late for a meal. That is, until I insisted that he take 200 mcg of chromium each day. After that, if he was late for a meal he would be really hungry but he never got sick from low blood sugar again."01/22/2011: E.m.d. from Recluse, Wy Usa replies: "Thanks everyone for your replies! I'm sorry it took me awhile to write back. I've been out of state helping some friends, and I've just made it back to a very snowy WY. It's exciting to have some more ideas, and I'll let you know what I come up with!To Kay from CA: I've also wondered if it was a hormonal imbalance for the exact some reasons. To be honest, I can't remember everything I've had tested. However, I've been meaning to get a copy of my files from my Dr. I'll have to let you know when I get the paperwork. Thanks for your empathy and encouragement!
To Deb from AU: For an extended period of time, I did take a very good B-complex. It kept me from having any lows after I ate, but it did not do anything for my overall symptoms. Thanks for your idea and the link though! P. S. : I spent three months in AU and really liked your country! I hope your enjoying the sunshine!
To Mother Earth from KS: I haven't looked into Adrenal Insufficiency, so I'll have to read up on it. Thanks for the tip!
To Laura from CA: My diet is overall a very healthy one. I also saw a nutritionalist a few years back. Unfortunately, she was as puzzled as everyone else. I have debated taking a green supplement, or something with kelp, so I will look into the one you suggested. I take some very good vitamins, but I know supplements are not as good as fresh healthy food. I'll also check out Maca powder; it sounds intriguing. Thank you, and I'll let you know what I find out!
To Lemarque from AU: Thank you for sharing some of your expertise. I did glance through some info. on anxiety attacks, but I'll have to take some time to look more thoroughly. When we were trying to determine if my symptoms were simply psychosomatic, I did see a counsellor for a short time. She said specifically that I did not need to be treated for trauma, and my mother had her symptoms long before I was born. I can have a very fun and relaxing day, and still suddenly crash. Yet, I appreciate your feedback, and I'll spend some time looking into anxiety attacks. I've recently looked into some of the Bach's Flower Remedies, and I'll go over to their page to check up on what you suggested. Thanks! "

"04/19/2011: Saliza from San Jose, Ca, Usa replies: "Your symptoms of hyperventilation, collapsing, lost control of muscles, hallucinations and short memory lost are very much similar to the condition of my niece who was diagnosed with lupus. To recover from this episode, someone has to sprinkle her face with water and then she has to drink lots of water. It usually lasts a few minutes and can attack her at any time, any place. Did you check this condition with your doctor? Hope you are better now."[BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS] 08/21/2011: E.m.d. from Recluse, Wy Usa replies: "Hello, everyone! I thought I would write again and give you a few updates. I'm sorry I haven't written back sooner, but I was looking into your wonderful suggestions.I did switch from the glyconutritional supplement I was taking to pure inner leaf aloe vera juice. Surprisingly, the aloe gave me the same effects with a fraction of the cost. The only thing you have to be careful of with aloe is that it can cause stomach pains, gas, etc. I found that if I took it with something very acidic, such as grapefruit juice or ACV, I usually did not have a problem. Then one day, out of curiosity, I made up some dandelion coffee (roasted dandelion root tea). I was amazed. Not only was it tasty, but my brain started to clear up part way through my first cup. I did some research, and apparently you need to take dandelion root for a few months before you receive the full benefits. So, I've been drinking three cups (one after every main meal) for quite some time. Dandelion is wonderful, guys! The root helps with sluggish livers, resets your internal ph level, helps to kill yeast, and, although it is a diaretic, it does not deplete potassium from your body. Although I loved all of this, I had to stop taking ACV because too much gave me heartburn. Therefore, I also stopped drinking aloe juice (without the extra acid, my stomach was upset all day). However, with just dandelion alone, my body still retained the extra stability that I had felt with the aloe. So, I don't regret switching over.
I have also started taking some of the Bach's Flower Essences to see if they would help with the stress that can aggravate my condition. I cannot say enough good things about them. They have helped to focus my brain so that I can really see what is causing the stress instead of just dealing with the symptoms. When I started looking into them, I was VERY skeptical. However, I went ahead and ordered some. I made the mistake of taking a few drops directly from the bottle, and it was so strong my head spun. So, if you order/make any, please be sure to dilute them first. They can also be applied directly to your skin. If I have a sore muscle, I'll rub a few drops into it, and, within seconds, there is relief. It doesn't last very long, but there are no side effects and I'd rather do that then take lots of pain killers. When I had a cold, I rubbed some across my sinuses, and it caused them to drain. There are a lot of applications, and I am pleased to see that my skepticism was proved wrong.
Wow, so that's what I've been doing the past couple of months. I did spend some time in China several years back, and I would love to see a TCM practitioner. Unfortunately, I live in the least populated state in America, and there is no one who does complete TCM. We did find some acupuncturists in the nearest town though. I am planning on seeing one of them in the next month or so. I'll let you all know how that goes.
In the meantime, I appreciate all your ideas and your patience. If you think of anything else that might help, let me know. Thank you all so much!"
08/22/2011: Connie from Slc, Ut replies: "Hi EMD: I remember reading your case in January, and seeing that I was having many of the same unusual symptoms. The strong craving for peanut butter was one of them. I thought it was probably because I needed the niacin, but at that time, I was taking extra niacinamide day and night. In fact, I began reaching for more supplements that had helped in the past, for other symptoms that were recurring. For myself, It turned out to be a B12 malabsorption problem. My guess is that maybe this condition could be a possibility with you and your family. It can be difficult to diagnose because testing is still inaccurate, and some people may only have some of the symptoms from the large constellation. The symptoms you listed : Dizzyness, Hyperventilation, Brain Fog, Crying, Irritability, Memory loss (even temporary), and even Hallucinations are included with B12 deficiency. Even those of us who get plenty of it in our diets, and supplement with an oral B-Complex, can still end up deficient. It is so difficult to absorb and transport, and it is so easily destroyed, that it's no wonder that I'm seeing this possibility with so many of us here. ( I must also account for my own bias. Pardon) I have found that taking a sublingual lozenge of methylcobalamin daily has helped me with all of these symptoms, and has helped increase availabilty of the other B's, which are also crucial. It may be worth a trial for 6 months."

FATHER-IN-LAW
01/15/2011: Lisa from Longmont, Colorado writes: "Hi. I hope someone could shed some light. My father-in-law started radiation treatment for prostate cancer in September. They had to recalibrate the radiation machine during his treatment and they shut down for a week. Shortly after starting the treatment, he became ill and the doctors said it was the flu. After 3 weeks, he could no longer move and checked in to the hospital where they ran every test on him. They found nothing except a bladder infection. After 3 weeks in the hospital, they sent him to a rehab nursing home to learn to walk again.
He was weak and had no appetite, but tried to do what he could in the rehab hospital. Three months later, his legs and ankles are still swollen, red, and hot to the touch and he can't move about without a lot of pain. After a brief increase in appetite due to appetite stimulants, he's back to no appetite and is getting very depressed and weak. He still can't move and lays in bed all day.
Does anyone have any possible causes or treatment? The doctors are stumped, but continue to run what seems to be the exact same tests again and again. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you. -Lisa"

The hair grew back within about a month but then I started scratching a lot and I think I scratched that area in my sleep and irritated it because I got another bump in the same exact spot but this one was a little bigger and more painful. It went down in about a week and left another bald spot... It was a little bigger this time... Between a nickel and a quarter... and my neck was stiff.
Did some research to see what this was and Im thinking maybe its either a: spider bite, boil, scabies, or a scalp infection. I dont know what it is. I just really want help. Can anybody help me?"

Am a member of earthclinic, where you contribute a lot. Please advise what supplements can help my conditions..
Symptoms of ENT problems :-
Ear - tinnitus buzzing/ringing, sore ear canals
Nose - very dry nasal passages (had a lot of mucus in my twenties, now in my forties all mucus has dried up), bleeding from my nasopharynx, nose canals bleed easily, gnawing pains from my nasopharynx area.
Throat - sore throat, blood in sputum
Headaches - weird head pains seem to be connected to my nasopharynx area also
I am worried as symptoms seem to be worsening. what can I take to stop the unnatural bleedings and cause the inflamed tissues to heal and restored to normal?
e.g. will taking bloodroot internally help? I have been using saline nasal rinse, but tissues seem to be still dry. please advise urgently. will provide more info as needed, thanks."12/23/2010: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Dear J:
Often dryness of the nasal is connected to metabolic acidosis, low vitamin A, low potassium, and low glutathione. This may be helped perhaps by taking potassium citrate or potassium carbonate roughly 1/4 teaspoon after meals 30 minutes twice a day. Vitamin A 25000 iu a day may also support so moisture a little. A good glutathione supplement is best taken as N acetyl cysteine form at 1000 mg a day. To allow reduce bleeding vitamin k I might use between 100 to 300 mcg a day. Smelling perfumes for some reason reduces or stop nose bleed. Taking supplements such as aloe vera oil 1 teaspoon or 1/8 teaspoon of beta sitosterol and helps healing. Ringing of ears maybe due to dryness of ear or taking too much pain killers or restricted circulation to the ears. Stopping pain killers, taking 400 mg vitamin B1, taking 1/ 2 teaspoon of baking soda 30 minutes after meal and taking magnesium chloride, magnesium glycinate might be helpful at 100 to 200 mg a day. Often if nerve transmission is weak you can get tinnitus bought on by dryness of nasal area. In most cases it is helpful to take vitamin c 500 mg 4 times a day for a 2 or 3 months to help healing. It is also helpful for healing if 1000 mg of lysine and 1000 to 2000 mg of glutamine. This supplement is used for me in healing of damage tissues.Ted"

JARC59
01/05/2012: Jarc59 from Affton, Missouri, United States writes: "My son has been going through a lot. He has been vomiting every few nights for almost 3 months now, having lots of diarrhea, and weird stools, but during the day is 100% happy and healthy and eats normally (for a 2 year old). The other day, his stool was black mucous like and had things that looked exactly like red kidney beans in it. I have been going through so much with him, that I decided to mush the bean looking things and they mushed just like an uncooked bean. He has not eaten anything that looks remotely like them. The pediatrician just wants me to wait and see if it happens again and we do have a g.i. specialist appointment later this month, but I would LOVE to know what is going on with my baby!"

04/12/2011: Jennifer from Venice, California writes: "The past few days I have had a weird cell-phone like vibration on the left side of my pelvic area. It feels like a cell phone is vibrating there! It doesn't happen all the time, just on and off mostly when I am standing or walking. I put my symptoms into google and it turns out that many women experience the same thing! Funny that they all describe it as a phantom cell phone vibration! The closest thing I can find out about this mystery vibration is that it may be fasiculations of the pelvic floor muscles or a problem with the psoas muscle. The most successful treatment appears to be a chiropractic maniuplation. I have had some sciatica issues off and on over the past few years, but nothing too serious. Besides visiting a chiropractor which I will do if this doesn't stop, does anyone have any remedy suggestions that might help? Thank you very much. Oh there it goes again. I guess it happens sitting down too! 1 second, then stops. Ovary region. Help!"
Replies04/13/2011: Sand from Atlanta, Ga replies: "Had a fluttering feeling in my left pubic area(maybe this is what you're describing as a "cell phone vibration") Don't think mine was that strong but definitely felt something. Found out later through ultrasound that a fibroid was found in that area on the uterus and on the cervix. Your situation could be totally different but you may want to check into it."

JMH
11/15/2010: Jmh from North Pole, Ak writes: "Several years ago I had a case of what I think was athletes foot. I was able to get rid of it, but then I developed a skin problem on my feet which includes burning, tingling, a "crawling" feeling on my soles, shiny redness, and extreme sensitivity to pressure - if I kick something, it hurts many times more than it should! Has anyone ever seen or heard of this and if so, have you found something that works to get rid of it?"
Replies02/12/2011: Kelly from Cinti, Ohio replies: "Hi JMH, I can tell you what I used to treat a big toe that had athletes foot fungus so bad that squeezing the toenail caused a brown pus to come out from under the toenail (sorry to be so graphic) and the toenail itself was black. Believe it or not, from advise of a poster on EC, I took about a tbsp. of vapo-rub (brand no-matter) and mixed it with a crushed clove of garlic (fresh). Wait 10 min after crushing garlic before mixing to get full benefit of enzyme. I kid you not, there was a dramatic change in just 24 hrs. Totally gone in 1.5 to 2 days. I forgot to mention, I also wrapped the toe in a loose but secure bandage. If you suspect fungus as the culprit try this. It is harmless to you but, great to kill fungus. Make up a bit of it (about 3 tbsp. vapo rub w/a clove or 2 of garlic crushed and layer on foot w/a sock on ovenight."
