Heart Palpitation Remedies

Updated: 11/03/2009

rss feed

"A palpitation is an abnormal awareness of the beating of the heart, whether it is too slow, too fast, irregular, or at its normal frequency. The difference between an abnormal awareness and a normal awareness is that the latter is almost always caused by a concentration on the beating of one's heart and the former interrupts other thoughts. Palpitations may be brought on by overexertion, adrenaline, alcohol, caffeine, disease (such as hyperthyroidism) or drugs, or as a symptom of panic disorder. More colloquially, it can also refer to a shaking motion. It can also happen in mitral stenosis.

Nearly everyone experiences an occasional awareness of their heart beating, but when it occurs frequently, it can indicate a problem. Palpitations may be associated with heart problems, but also with anemias and thyroid malfunction.

Attacks can last for a few seconds or hours, and may occur very infrequently, or more than daily. Palpitations alongside other symptoms, including sweating, faintness, chest pain or dizziness, indicate irregular or poor heart function and should be looked in to.

Palpitations may also be associated with anxiety and panic attacks, in which case psychological assessment is recommended. This is a common disorder associated with a lot of common medications such as anti-depressants." (Wikipedia)

[YEA]  01/06/2009: CH from PD, USA writes: "I have been having Heart Palpitations, Tachardia about every 4 months for the past two years. My doctors have ran all kinds of heart test and can not find anything wrong with my heart. I had a serious one Sunday night and had to call 911, while I was waiting for them to ge there I thought I was going to die. I ran in the kitchen and took a few sips of apple cider vinegar straingt and the heart began to slow down, by time the ambulance got there my heart had slowed down to 110 beats per minute and my blood pressure had droped to 210/110. Apple Cider Vinegar just a few sips always works for me. Went back to Doctors, They still don't know what is causing it."

07/11/2009: Heather from Brooklyn, NY replies: "to CH--glad you felt better with the ACV, but that bp is very dangerous!!! 210/110 is considered a hypertensive crisis and is truly a medical emergency. As an ER nurse, that is far FAR too high to see someone's pressure, especially if you're experiencing cardiac symptoms. I hope that you're being followed closely by a doctor, and that they're keeping tabs on how your BP is doing, regardless of the treatment you choose to use (pharmaceutical, natural or a combination.) Good luck!"

07/15/2009: Loren from Orlando, Fl replies: "To CH from PD: has anyone tried using motherwort or hawthorne to help with the palpitations? Just google it guys and see the nemerous health benefits. As a plus it also lowers blood pressure. Also CO Q10 is also very helpful in any heart problems. Good luck to everyone and god bless"

07/16/2009: Luis from Cali, Colombia replies: "Dear Sir:

There is a small cavity at the end of the insertion of the thumb in hand, over the wrist. This is an acupuncture special point to calm palpitations and to make normal the rhythm of heart. You can pressure it with the thumb of right hand in cases of emergency, or to use a band of acuppressure.

To your best days.

Luis"

[SIDE EFFECTS]  08/15/2008: Debra from Sligo, IRELAND writes: "Hi, debra here from ireland, thanks very much for everyones advice.i have tryed apple cider vinegar but i had to stop taking it as it makes me feel sick. today i started taking a tablet called magnesiam ok its got magnesium and potassium and lots of vitiams in it so i hope this helps my heart as palpitations are pretty bad this week.hope something works for you kimberly. i let you no if the magnesium works (fingers crossed).any more advice would be great. thanks, debra."

08/17/2008: Joan from Palo Alto, CA replies: "Hi, Debra. If you drink caffeine, you might want to come off it as soon as possible. Give it a couple of weeks before you introduce it back into your system. I get terrible heart palpitations whenever I drink coffee. Tea is okay, as long as it is diluted. Also, be careful with preservatives in food and artificial sweeteners like sucralose. These too can cause heart palps. I also read somewhere (Earth Clinic?) that corn syrup might cause irregular heart beats. Good luck and let us know how it goes."

[SIDE EFFECTS]  07/02/2009: Christa from Ft. Campbell, Ky replies: "I have had a heart arithmea for about five years now (runs in the family) I had it well controlled with a magnesium supplement. I started taking ACV for PMS and beautiful skin, been taking it for a week, but it gave me the worst heart palpitations yet!! I tried it by its self, and when that made me sick to my stomach I added 1/4 tsp baking soda to 2 Tbls ACV. But the heart palpitations really worry me.... "

[YEA]  04/15/2007: Hank from Florida writes: "ACV for acid reflux(heart palpitations)...I started having heart palpitations last October and went to my family doctor who referred me to a cardiologist who did a stress test and an echocardiogram and put me on a heart monitor for a month. He then referred me to an electrocardiologist for possible pacemaker. This Dr. referred me to a sleep clinic for sleep apnea. I now have a cpap machine, for sleep apnea but the palpitations were still coming quite frequently. I'm not sure the cpap machine is the answer unless that is something else that is going on, but unrelated. Out of desperation, I went to the internet and started doing some 'research' and found your web site. This is my 4th day on Braggs apple cider vinegar and the palpitations have all but stopped, except last night I decided to try some plain vanilla yogurt which I thought would have a soothing effect. The palpitations started almost immediately and quite severe after eating the yogurt. I took another glass of water with 2 tablespoons of ACV and the palpitations stopped! Do you have any idea why the yogurt would cause this? Needless to say, I am very amazed at the effectiveness of ACV. Hopefully, the effects will last. What caused my reflux? I had taken ibuprofen for several years for back pain and have been on Tramadol(generic Ultram, which I was on before the generic came out) for several years. I definitely believe these drugs have caused a train wreck in my stomach. I am also on Zocor for cholesterol and Altace for blood pressure. Before the back pain(degenerative disc), I was a runner and had none of this although I did take ibuprofen some of the time during my running days. So far, I am looking at ACV as a miracle. Thanks so much!"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Dear Hank: Apple cider vinegar (with appropriate buffers such as bicarbonate or baking soda) removes the body of lactic acid, which in excess kills the cells and causes heart problems.

Yes, yogurt causes heart palpitations because it has lactic acid. Lactic acid is peculiarly toxic to the cell's mitochrondria. Atheletes dread lactic acid buildup and wish one day they can rid of them. Well there is a remedy, it is the acetates (and can come from apple cider vinegar and the side effects are also reduced with citrates - from lemon and bicarbonates).

As a student when I studied biochemistry I would cringe at the idea of lactic acid. If I do a cell cultures, and use lactic acid as a pH to adjust to ideal biological conditions, the cell cultures would immediately die. This is a well known fact.

Since the heart is the source of constant energy, mitochrondrial health is extremely important. Lactic acid buildup intracellulary is dangerous, and this is why athletes have short lives - from long lactic acidosis causing muscular fatigue, thus heart attack is frequent.

In my opinion, magnesium acetate and potassium acetate are an ideal form, and this is found best whenever apple cider vinegar and baking soda is added. May I dare say that apple cider vinegar and baking soda is a food for the heart.

The other issue is the calcium buildup which causes the cells to function improperly. Usually a citrates, found in 8 teaspoons of lime juice (or lemon) plus 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda is taken reduces the serum calcium buildup which clogs the cells. This should also help.

The best detoxification of lactic acid is either sodium acetate, potassium acetate, magnesium acetate. These acetate forms are found whenever apple cider vinegar is taken, in any brand, and it is reacted with the body's bicarbonates to neutralize and convert to acetate. The cells use the acetate to rid the body of lactic acid. The problem about ridding the intracellular is half of the problem. The other is the body needs to neutralize the acid extracellularly also, which I think is best handled with baking soda and citrates (lemon juice). I remember that whenever a person has a heart attack, they use Harvey Teams (in hospitals) to inject a large syringe of baking soda. This is a quick remedy, but not a complete one. Acetates, magnesium, potassium, and bicarbonates is the preferred remedy to use, in my opinion anyway.

I recently have a friend who came to visit me one day and told me her heart had a terrible heart palpitations that she would nearly faint and breathing becomes a problem. I knew it was a simple electrolytic imbalance. After taking 1/16 teaspoon of potassium citrate, 1/16 sea salt, 1/16 teaspoon of magnesium chloride, and some sodium citrate, the conditions stopped within minutes and never came back.

People never realize that these electrolytes are the power cells that gives cells their electrical energy. In the olden days, they use salt with a cardboard in layers to create electricity (Alessandro Volta). If you have a multimeter, most salt solutions do have electricity. Usually it is about 1/2 volts, in case you are wondering. Just imagine what happens if the body's electrolytes are imbalance or lacking, the heart needs electrical energy for normal heart beat too."

08/10/2008: Debra from Sligo, Ireland replies: "Hi, I'm a 34 year old who has had palpations for years, last year i had a defibulator fitted in my chest in case things get realy bad. i have read your storys on the apple cider viegar and it sounds great so i am going to try and get some to try and hopefully it will work for me. i am at that stage where i will try anything, so if you no of anything else i can try please email me. I'll let you no how i get on all the best debra

08/10/2008: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "Hi Debra, If you on-line search "excitotoxins" you will find the two major excitatoxins are monosodium glutamate (MSG) and aspartame (nutrisweet) and both are found in altogether too many of our food products. You will also find a long list of troubles both of these cause, including panic attacks, mood swings and palpitations. Another thing that helps to regulate heartbeat(rhythm) is magnesium, which a lot of people are found to have low levels of."

08/11/2008: Alain from Ottawa, Canada replies: "Hi, Debra: Have you considered increasing your source of magnesium?

Here's a few posts relating heart problems with lack of magnesium:
http://www.ctds.info/heart-palpitations.html

"Until I changed my diet to get more magnesium, I had heart palpitations for most of my life. I'd be sitting in a chair or resting quietly and then all of a sudden, for no obvious reason, I could start to feel my heart beat really fast. After a few minutes it would go back to normal, and then, maybe a day later or even a few hours later, it would happen again. Often it would happen when I was lying in bed at night."

There's many supplements from which you can get magnesium. I personally take a pinch of EPSON salts (preferably food grade) with my blackstrap molasses beverage.

Good luck!

Nausea, dizziness, heart rate going at about twice what it normally does... I found this site after looking for quick ways to lower my hart rate because I was having trouble breathing. I decided to give the cold shower treatment a try and, while I regretted it for the first five minutes or so, I am now feeling totally back to normal. I'll be sure to use this method in the future as it works so much faster than any medication I have tried."

FOOD TRIGGERS

1 SIDE EFFECT

[SIDE EFFECTS]  12/05/2007: Jasmina from Old Greenwich, CT writes: "Hello. I wanted to share with you an issue that has popped up for me in the past couple of weeks. I am suddenly intolerant to caffeine and I think it may have to do with ACV and Baking Soda creating some kind of vitamin or mineral deficiency.

Brief background... two weeks ago I took ACV and baking soda (2 Tablespoons ACV and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, but it could have more more, I didn't measure) in the morning and then again at night... The next day I did the same and also had a few cups of black tea. I started to have a racing heart, and when I lay down to sleep at night, it felt like an intense pressure on my heart... the next day, I was better, but my heart started beating irregularly when I worked out, seeming like it skipped a beat every few minutes. After researching remedies on Earth Clinic for heart palpitations, I went to the health food store and bought some powdered magnesium that dissolves in water. I also bought magnesium and potassium at their recommendation (said it was great for heart palps). Things calmed down after that, but my heart still felt a bit weird. I did continue to drink a few cups of very weak black tea a day. Then last Friday, I did the same thing as before, I took 2 drinks, morn and eve of acv and baking soda. Saturday we went out to eat and I drank what turned out to be caffeinated root beer. Well 20 minutes after the rootbeer I was in the grocery store and my heart started to race like crazy, pounding through my clothes. Then I started to feel my legs go weak and was about to pass out. I crouched down in the aisle and breathing slowly, called my husband on the cell phone to come and get me! It lasted about 10 minutes... racing heart, panic attack, feeling like I about to pass out. It was very scary... I thought I was having a heart attack and my life was going to end right then and there in the grocery store aisle! Went to the emergency room and they ran all the tests (EKG, blood tests, blood pressure, etc) ... everything checked out okay...I have been drinking black tea for years now and am wondering how this could happen. I told a friend of mine about it and she reported that she stopped taking apple cider vinegar because it was giving her heart palpitations. She too become caffeine intolerant literally overnight and told me that even carbonated beverages cause heart palpitations. One more note: I was also wearing a bra that was extra tight around the chest (thank you Calvin Klein irregular sale item) the last couple of weeks and wonder if that didn't exacerbate things. Hope this information will help someone else experiencing a racing heart. Take magnesium and LAY OFF THE CAFFEINE AND HOME REMEDIES!!"

12/12/2007: Rhonda from Tallahassee, FL, USA replies: "Baking soda and carbonated beverages- I'll spare the details of how, but it has alot to do with magnesium. If your magnesium is low, carbonated beverages and baking soda has been shown to cause problems, including anxiety-like behavior. This is due to mineral imbalances. If you are drinking black tea and didn't have heart palpitations before before, you may may experience what's called "refractive tachycardia". This is the same thing that happens to some people who take NOS (nitric oxide synthase) supplements. This is because black tea induces nitric oxide release. Some people with mineral imbalances will experience tachycardia with a single cup of black tea. This happened to me one time, and I could not wait until the feeling ended."

12/17/2007: Jasmina from Old Greenwich, CT replies: "I was reading the Latest Posts section today and saw other women having side effects from baking soda & ACV and realized that I needed to follow up from my post a couple of weeks ago re heart palpitations. Thank you, btw, to Rhonda who gave a fantastic reply to my post. 10 days had passed since I started to have my first bout of heart palpatitation and I was feeling worse and worse. I went back to the ER a week ago Sunday after having sudden and unusual anxiety attacks and feeling faint all day long. I also became glucose intolerant all of sudden. Any sugar or carbs would make my heart pound within 10 minutes and I felt like I would pass out. I began to get scared to get into the car, lest I passed out on the freeway! The ER ran tests on my potassium and iron levels -- they were fine. They then prescribed Xanax and told me most likely I was stressed out and having panic attacks. No, I didn't fulfil the prescription! My doctor ran additional tests and a few days later the cardiologist ran a bunch of tests on my heart. Everything checked out fine, fine, fine. A few friends started mentioning vitamin deficiency, but I didn't see how that was possible since I was taking a Trader Joe's vitamin and mineral drink mix booster. Then I typed in "vitamin deficiency symptoms" into google and came to this website: http://www.1stholistic.com/Nutrition/hol_nutr-def-symptoms.htm

I eyeballed the list and immediately pegged my problem: Chromium Deficiency: 90% of the population is deficient in chromium, according to this website. Symptoms of chromium deficiency include: Anxiety, fatigue, glucose intolerance & adult-onset diabetes. Long story short, I checked my vitamin drink packet and saw that it included only 8% of daily value in chromium. I got in my car and went to the health store, got a better liquid vitamin AND chromium supplements AND Alpha Lipoic Acid and within 24 hours, all of my symptoms had disappeared. The only thing that has reoccured in the last 2 days was a few seconds of an irregular heart beat 10 minutes after eating Japanese Sweet Rice and a granola bar with drizzled chocolate. Other than that, all my symptoms have disappeared.

I feel really good when I take Ted's acv and baking soda remedy. However, I think it does need to have additional supplementation. It is my theory that the baking soda in ACV depleted my chromium levels.. Also perhaps coffee (which I don't normally drink, but started to a month ago). So I suggest to everyone that they make sure to supplement these home remedies with a really good multivitamin/mineral. And to make sure it includes chromium!"

12/18/2007: Willie Jr from Greensboro, NC replies: "I'm somewhat confused, what's the deal with the baking soda / ACV theory. Is this a home remedy that is intended to help cease palpitations or does baking soda / ACV cause palpitations. I'm in my early thirties and I've been dealing with these things for about 12 years now and I had my worse episode ever after eating homemade curry pork for lunch about a month ago. I looked at the ingredients on the bottle and it had lactic acid as one of the preservatives, I also will react occasionally to MSG in Chinese food and KFC chicken. I'm currently not on any medications for palps but I've taken Hawthorn for the past five plus years and this tends to help especially when I first started taking this herb.Went back to the Cardiologist after this last episode and like many of you have stated nothing was found and I was told not to worry and this was a normal part of my heartbeat. However I was assigned a king of hearts monitor for 30 days and I'll you'll posted on the results within a couple of weeks. I do believe that mangesium citrate helps with' elimanating or reduce palpitations. When I was in the Cardiologist office a few weeks back waiting for my EKG there was an 84 yr old man sitting across from me with his wife and daughter and they were supprised to see such a young man (me) in the cards office. They kindly asked me what was I doing there and I told them that I occcasionally have heart palpitations and the older gentlemen spoke up and said I've been having them for 60 plus years. That made me feel alot better and it also let me know that God was in charge."

12/21/2007: Charlotte from Baltimore, Maryland replies: "Jasmina wrote about the side effects regarding caffine and ACV. She ended her email telling you to get off the home remedies and caffeine. Maybe she should have just tried dropping the caffeine. I have been using ACV for sometime for acid reflux and to keep my blood pressure under control. I am not totally off blood pressure meds yet, but am down to one pill a day at the lowest dosage. In regards to caffeine, I learned that if you are doing any type of detox or cleasing (which ACV does), it increases the effect OF THE CAFFEINE exponentially. Caffeine speeds up systems in the body (which is why people become pumped and have more energy). I have had the heart palipation reactions while using ACV and afterwards from caffeine products. When a friend told me that it was from the caffeine, I had to stop and think and found that they were correct. I had breast pain before from drinking caffeine sodas and as so had long ago stopped doing them, but I was still heavy into coffee and chocolate, which caused no breast pain. So, I figured that they were right, and now that my systems were cleaner, the caffeine was having a stronger effect. I cut out the caffeine (except for the occassional peice of chocolate) and have had no problems since. So let me amend Jasmine's advice and say CUT OUT THE CAFFINE, it is no benefit to your body and has too many side effects."

01/17/2008: Jasmina from Old Greenwich, CT replies: "Wanted to follow up with you re the last 2 posts I sent in December re heart palpitations, faintness, glucose intolerance and self diagnosed chromium deficiency. Since sending those posts, I have been to a naturopathic doctor in Los Angeles who diagnosed me as being pre-diabetic. A blood test run by my local physician here in CT has also revealed high glucose levels. Well, my family has no history of diabetes nor am I over weight. However, upon further research, I concluded that this change in my system may have come about over the past year after I moved in with my boyfriend and started going out to more restaurants and drinking horchatas (Mexican rice milk drink with cinnamon), sodas, sweet tea, all beverages that contain corn syrup. I think in the last year that I have greatly increased my consumption of high fructose corn syrup to my diet whereas when I lived alone, I rarely went out to eat and infrequently ate or drank anything with corn syrup. Here is some research that I wanted to share that back up my findings:

http://www.newstarget.com/009333.html

"Earl Mindell and Virginia Hopkins, authors of "Prescription Alternatives," blame our nation's sharp rise in diabetes on increased consumption of high-fructose corn syrup and the resulting depletion of chromium in the body. Chromium is important in helping glucose pass from the bloodstream into the cells. Mindell and Hopkins say that studies done at the US Department of Agriculture's Human Nutrition Resource Center reveal that consuming fructose in this form causes chromium levels to drop, in turn raising LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, and impairing immune system function. "As our consumption of high fructose corn syrup has risen 250 percent in the past 15 years, our rate of diabetes has increased approximately 45 percent in about the same time period," said Mindell."

I no longer believe that my pre-diabetic condition was caused by the apple cider vinegar and baking soda, but, as I mentioned above, most likely the new addition of high fructose corn syrup to my diet. I will keep updating you as I learn more information. I hope this is helpful to people going through some of the same symptoms as I. PLEASE WATCH YOUR DIETS FOR CORN SYRUP!!!"

MAGNESIUM

1 YEA

[YEA]  12/19/2008: Jackie from Cape Coral, FL, USA writes: "Magnesium for heart palpitations/panic attacks: I thank God for this site. I was having scary heart palpitations at night, and I knew it was panic attacks. The only course my doc offered was xanax, and as I was rushed through the visit there was no time to talk alternatives. I am not one of those people who thinks happiness is a pill away. I did my own research, and decided to try a magnesium supplement. The FIRST NIGHT I was heart palpitation-free. I can't believe doctors would rather throw a dangerous pill at you rather than discuss the effects of diet, exercise, and soda (caffeine&aspatame) on your body. Try Magnesium first, and make sure you are getting your potassium too!"

12/21/2008: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "Hi Jackie, Welcome to the world of reality. Your doctor doesn't tell you a lot because of the AMA which is the strongest union in the USA. When they get wind of someone recommending anything that medicine doesn't have control of, they start hollering "Quack, quack" and trying to put them out of business. Psst! Ever hear of that site called "Quack Watch"!? Not many doctors want to run that risk with all the debt from medical school hanging over their heads or even after that debt is paid. It also explains why the big pharmaceuticals, AMA, and other allies making a living in the health field are so interested in closing down the health food stores, making vitamins, minerals, herbs and supplements available by prescription only. I hope & pray that this current attempt will be such a flop that they will never try it again. But play it smart and go buy you a few good books on recognition of and uses of our local herbs that most people call weeds. That way, we might not be able to get herbs from other countrys but we can surely find enough in our own localities to still be winners healthwise.

I am cheered up by people like you and the other one I just read in EC that figured out that mixing powdered blood root (which is a very easily recognized wild flower) with DMSO for skin cancer on her own. YEA! EC readers & sharers, keep using those heads for something besides a hat rack! We can all learn from one another and enjoy better health, and better health starts with what you eat & drink.

I was just reading something about Michigan, which first started fluoridating the public water, supply is now rethinking on the wisdom of this, because of so many reports of connections to bone cancer and other unwanted problems from this toxin produced as a byproduct of producing aluminum which could only be sold for pesticide or rat poison, before somebody got the idea of forcing it on the people on the public water system. I also read where Maryville, Tn. finally got it removed from their public water supply in the past couple of years. If
people keep wising up, our health is gonna increase likewise. But winning the battle with FDA, AMA, MSG, aspartame and the others isn't going to be easy."

MOLASSES

5 YEA

[YEA]  11/06/2008: Judy from Cincinnati, Ohio writes: "I just turned 41 & have started feeling the grips of hormonal changes along with having a history of huge fibroids. I had 5 lbs of fibroids removed last yr in a robotic surgery that went terrifically & preserved my fertility :) I still want to have children & decided to take a natural, active involvement in my health. I have always worked out religiously since I was 15 so I've been in great shape & been able to tolerate the pain of those fibroids. But at age 41 I was finding that I no longer could run on the junk food that I liked to eat & was lacking energy along with not having a normal cycle. I wanted so much to have a normal cycle without the complications of a birth control pill. ACV gave me that :) But I was also dealing with more heart palpitations that I just couldn't control with my diet & vitamin taking. Yesterday, it was really getting in my way of life so I ran out & got the molasses. And I'm so happy to report that it made those nasty heart palpitations go away, gave me energy to go play tennis that evening ( in fact, I was burning the court with my energetic plays) & is helping my chronic constipation. I've gone to the bathroom 3 times since last evening to this morning and that's simply wonderful!!! I urge everyone to try ACV & molasses ~ they are TERRIFIC!!!!"

Every night my heart has a delayed beat (confirmed with overnight monitor) but doctor gave me no treatment beyond giving up caffiene. While that helps, it doesn't totally eliminate it and I admit no caffiene is difficult for me.

After the first day of 2 Tbls Molasses, I sleep through the night with no problems. And this is such a relief as it really is extremely scarey to awaken to no heart beat, over and over and over."

MULTIPLE REMEDIES TRIED

10/16/2008: RON B. from TAVERNIER, FL writes: "IN 1985 I HAVE MY FIRST PALPITATIONS. I WENT TO THE EMERCENCY ROOM AND THE DOCTOR KIND OF BRUSHED IT OFF AND THAT WAS THAT, IT WENT AWAY. IN 1986 WHILE DRIVING MY CAR IT HAPPENED AGAIN AT WHICH TIME I TOOK MY CIGARETTES AND TOSSED THEM OUT THE WINDOW DONE FOREVER. THE PALPITAIONS CAME ON AT CERTAIN TIMES THEN WENT AWAY AND I THOUGHT LITTLE OF THEM. IN 1995 THEY GOT WORSE AND I HAD A MONITOR PLACED ON ME AND THE DOCTOR WAS NO HELP.IN 1996 I GOT THEM REAL BAD AND WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AND BECAUSE I HAD INSURANCE I WAS HOSPITALIZED WITH WIRES GOING TO THE NURSE STATION. I WAS RELEASED BUT WITH NO INFORMATION OTHER THAN SOME DANGEROUS MEDICATION WHICH I LATER FOUND OUT WAS VERY BAD. I HAVE SINCE FOUND THERE IS LITTLE THAT THE MODERN MEDICAL INDUSTY CAN DO OTHER THAN TAKE YOUR MONEY AND FEED YOU DANGEROUS DRUGS.AFTER A COUPLE MORE TIMES IN THE HOSPITAL AND ALMOST HAVING A STROKE TWICE I HAVE REALIZED I AM THE MASTER OF MY BODY AND NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS BECAUSE THE MDS ARE CLUELESS. MY CONDITION NOW IS CHRONIC I HAVE PALPITAIONS ALL DAY EVERY DAY. I TAKE ACV,MASSES OF VITAMINS AND MINERALS,WAS TOLD THE ADRENALS CAN HAVE AN AFFECT SO I AM WORKING ON THE ADRENALS. MY NEXT STEP IS JUICE FASTING WITH MINERAL AND VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS AS WELL AS A COLON CLEANSE, A LIVER CLEANSE, AND A KIDNEY CLEANSE. I SUSPECT THE ADRENAL CONNECTION, I ALSO SUSPECT POSSIBLY A PARASITE OR CANDIDA CONNECTION AND OVER ACID BODY.I AM GOING ON A TOTAL RAW FOOD DIET AND ELIMINATING EVERY THING CAN POSSIBLE BE A SOURCE OF THE PALPITATIONS. ALL THESE THINGS I AM WORKING ON IN AN ATTEMPT TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM. TOO BAD OUR SO CALLED MEDICAL INDUSTRY IS SO CLUELESS AND EXPENSIVE.IT SEEMS THAT THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY CAN BE INCOMPETENT AS WELL AS PROFITABLE. I DID A HAIR SAMPLE MINERAL TEST AND FOUND I WAS HIGH IN ALUMINUM CADMIUM, AND OTHER DANGEROUS METALS THAT MAY BE AFFECTING THE ABSORBSION OF GOOD MINERALS. I WAS LOW IN CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM AND OTHER MINERALS EVEN THOUGH I SUPPLEMENT WITH QUALITY MINERALS. I NOW ALSO DO THE CHELATION TO RID MY BODY OF THE BAD METALS. I AM WORKING HARD ON THIS AND AM DETERMINED TO ADDRESS THE TRUE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM."

10/19/2008: Marinette from Cleveland, Ohio, USA replies: "This is in reply to Ron B. I have had problems with heart palpitations in the past, and had very good success with Peppermint tea. The tea is also very good for digestion and possibly the palpitations are linked to faulty digestion. You mentioned also that you suspect an overly acid system might cause this. I suffer from this also, and take DeSouza's Liquid Chlorophyll which helps a lot. Chlorophyll is great for alkalizing the body. Any brand would probably work, but I notice other brands have added ingredients besides the chlorophyll that I would rather not take. I cannot take ACV because I become too acid from it. You mentioned also that you take a lot of supplements. I would go off of everything and just try the peppermint tea, at least 2 cups a day. Also, 1 tablespoon of the chlorophyll in an 8 oz. glass of water once a day. Also, an excellent remedy for nerves is liquid Celery Seed Extract. You can put 12 or more drops of this in the peppermint tea if you feel that nerves are also linked to the palpitations. I suggest going off of everything you are taking now while trying the peppermint tea, liquid chlorophyll and liquid celery seed extract. Something you are taking might be causing the palpitations to be worse. Once you feel better, you can always introduce the supplements back slowly. I hope this helps you, Ron."

10/20/2008: Crista from Pekin, Illinois replies: "One thing about heart palpitations that was mentioned in the definition in the begining is that they can come from anti-depressants. I was on anti-anxiety pills and was not told by my doctor that they were addictive. They said take up to this many a day as needed for anxiety. I took them for about a week on a regular basis, and the when I was feeling fine I didn't take them. I ended up calling an ambulance that night because I thought I was having a heart attack at the age of 27. So by the time I got to the hospital my paliptations had stopped and they just said to take my medicine as prescribed. I looked more information up about my medicine and realized that the withdrawal symptoms of any drug that has benzodiazapines in them is heart palpitations and other. Because I took these for only a week I was addicted and had to take several months to withdrawal off of it slowly so I would not go through the palpitations again. The website with the withdrawal chart was in a manual written by a UK woman doctor. It is on a UK website.

I talked with my doctor telling them I wanted off and told them the steps I was taking. They were ok with it and just said that if I had problems to call and they could help. They also suggested getting on something else after I was done withdrawing from this one. To finally get off I actually had to be put on a different anti-anxiety pill because I could not take the week where I had to come off all the way. These drugs are very scary to me, but may be needed by some. If you have palpitations though see if you are on this type of drug first to see if it could be the cause of this issue. Unfortunately I didn't try any herbal remedies because I had not thought of it yet. I love this website and plan on using it for many things."

09/09/2009: Bubble from Chicaco, Illinois replies: "I was on a benzo for over a year because of heart palpitations. The doc said I was stressed. I working in the heat (outside), I wasn't eating, and i dropped like 20 lbs in 2 weeks. But he gave me that dam pill instead. He told me I could take it when ever I wanted as much as i wanted.Well, because my job is very dangerous and you have to be a little more than alert with chicago driving, i decided that I could not take the whole pill untill i got home. 1mg...yup 1mg of clonazepam or colonapoison I and many others like to call it, It took me 4 1/2 months to tapper off of this drug which I had help from my online friends to do this. Docs are NOT educated on the withdrawal of these dangerous drugs and will try and have you off of them in a month which most of the time gaurantees a trip to the e.r. Those 4 1/2 months I felt like I was dying and then after my tapper 5 weeks later post acute withdrawal hit and I thought I lost my mind. Another 4 months of mind numbing torture. Please do not take the benzos or even anti depressants. The ANTIS, have simular problems. Google OR EVEN LOOK IT UP ON YOU TUBE...S.S.R.I. or BENZO WITHDRAWAL."

OIL PULLING

1 YEA

[YEA]  09/13/2009: Leah from Nyc, Nyc writes: "I started getting heart palpitations every day for the last month or two. They are very scary. I was told to cough hard to get the heart back in rhythm. That worked for a second or two. I then took Black Strap Molasses (1 teaspoon) and a 1/2 hour later I drank water with 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar. That combo usually stops the palpitations for 1/2 a day.

HOWEVER, I started OP (Oil Pulling) every morning on an empty stomach (1 teaspoon of either virgin olive oil or 1 teaspoon of sunflower oil) and since I've started, I've had no palpitations at all! It's amazing!

If you want to try this, please read up on it (on this website) first.

ORANGE JUICE

1 YEA

[YEA]  12/25/2008: Roy from Spokane, WA writes: "I was surprised to learn that yogurt may cause heart palpitations. However I know from my own experience that I would sometimes develop an irregular heart beat after eating this product. Orange juice or an orange can help reduce my heart palpitations along with calcium and magnesium supplements. Other people have also told me that an orange or the juice works for them as well. I've not tried the apple cider vinegar but will do so to see if it may work for me. I've had nuclear stress testing and apparently do not have coronary artery blockage thus far. I have learned through personal experience that high blood pressure meds (once took mycardis) may cause heart palpitations even after a year or more of use."

POTASSIUM AND MAGNESIUM CITRATE ELECTROLYTE SOLUTION

1 YEA
1 WORKED TEMPORARILY

[YEA]  11/23/2007: June from Ks, Ks writes: "I have read in several different places Ted's recommendations for taking potassium citrate and magnesium citrate for a variety of problems. The latest was a cure/prevention for heart palpitations. I've suffered from heart palpitations (HP) for 10 years. The severity of the palpitations has varied over the years but lately, for some reason, they had become extremely troublesome.

This problem runs on my mother's side of the family and I know my mother and her sister's solution has been to take prescription drugs, regardless of their serious side effects. The Rx approach has never worked for me so I am always looking for alternative remedies. I had used hawthorn to treat my heart issue and avoiding sugar and alcohol are also important. But lately nothing was working. I have taken CoQ10 in the past, but it is very expensive and difficult to take continuously because of the price.

Finally, I came back to earthclinic to do some further research and read where Ted said he had treated a woman with HP using potassium and magnesium citrates to replace electrolytes. I had already searched for these products from my supplement companies I use and could not find them and was wondering how to replace my electrolytes without drinking the sugary sports drinks that claim to replace electrolytes. I found the solution at a local pharmacy this week where I had gone to purchase iodine (another home remedy suggested here). I happened upon a $4 bottle of generic brand pediatric electrolyte solution used for preventing dehydration. The ingredients include: water, dextrose, citric acid, potassium citrate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate and benzoic acid. It's the closest product I could find to Ted's recipe. I figured I would give it a shot.

The result has been very positive. My HP almost immediately ceased upon taking the first dose. I've only had a few mild palpitations since I began taking the product 3 days ago. Even though I had several (mildly sweet) desserts during the Thanksgiving holiday (and two beers) I did not have the normal reaction of terrible HP that I could have previously expected before taking the electrolyte solution.

I know the best remedy is to avoid sugar and alcohol all together. And while I closely monitor my intake of those items it's not realistic for me to give them up completely. I will always want to enjoy a dessert on occasion and a beer once in a while.

I do hope the electrolyte solution continues to work for me. The taste is not unpleasant and is of citrus. It seems like there is only enough dextrose to make it palatable. There were two bottles to choose from, one was clear and the other was colored orange and contained acesulfame potassium, an artificial sweetener I try to avoid. I chose the clear product.

I hope this information helps someone else. And thanks to Ted for the suggestion on an electrolyte cure for HP!"

11/24/2007: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "To June from Ks (ll/23/07) google MSG, aspartame-read unwanted side effects of both- make a list of names they hide them under & then go to your kitchen and look for them in the ingredients in the foods you are eating. Trying to get rid of them isn;t easy. My niece says it takes her 4 hours longer to grocery shop now that she is looking for them in the ingredients before she buys foods containing them."

11/28/2007: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Thanks for the feedback!

I know the best remedy is to avoid sugar and alcohol all together.

Yes, in case the sugar is unavoidable, take plenty of water, such as one full glass. For example if one glass of solution contains 10% sugar, taken an extra glass of water would reduce the sugar concentration by 5%. A sugar level of 2% is generally benign and 5% is tolerable over the short run, but not recommended which is about the same as the concentration of urine sugar in a healthy individual.

Most problems of the heart is the electrolyte imbalance. In one instance when nothing can be found, a simple sea salt, 1/4 teaspoon is helpful too. Sometimes I found a heart palpitation is initiated by a long term low grade fever from cavities in the teeth of all places. In case of a low grade fever and a low level septicemia, frequently an aspirin 250 mg dissolve in 1/2 glass of water, will digest the low grade fever once the aspirin dissolved in water reaches the blood stream.

As a footnote, a famous comedian, Paul Lynde, who was a regular at Hollywood Squares and Bewitched died of a heart attack in 1982. His heart looked like an 80 year old man even though he died at the age of 56. The reason was the alcohol he drinks excessively. Alcohol tends to destroy the liver function and the nutrients in the liver could not supply food for the heart to beat, and this destroys the heart.

To further support heart function, 1 tablespoon of granulated lecithin will help and some weekly dose of vitamin B50 complex and vitamin C sodium ascorbate. It SHOULD BE noted that the most frequent deficiency I seen is the electrolyte, vitamin B50 and vitamin C, all these are water soluble and all these are related to heart problems. It is no wonder why people have heart attack, water soluble nutrients get depleted fairly quickly and we get deficient just as fast.

Drinking alcohol may also increase the free radical iron, and a green tea with no sugar and no milk will bind most of the free metal iron that tends to accumulate in the heart.

Still, electrolyte solution is still the best for most heart palpitation problems. The major electrolytes that is important is sea salt, magnesium, and potassium. The use of citrate is important to alkalize the body and permit healing."

[WORKED TEMPORARILY]  11/01/2009: Will Jones from Batam, Indonesia replies: "After getting horibly short of breath and sometimes even distressed after a sudden bout of heavy exersise (e.g. climbing a few flights of stairs), an ECG reported that I have AF (Atrial Fillibration). I am a 59 year old male who eats of high plant low meat diet but drinks too much coffee and beer.

The local Indonesian doctor who found the AF issue, suggested a typical Big Pharma regimen of nasty drugs. I recalled a friend who said he had dealt with bad heart palpitations using Mg (Magnesium) plus other minerals and vitamin supplements.

Before coming here to EC, I researched the topic and found that in emergency rooms, Mg is often introduced intraveneously to control bad cases of AF.

While visiting Australia last week, I bought some large bottles of Mg Ca K supplements and made up mixture of Epsom Salts (Magnesium Suphate) and water in a nasal spray bottle, which I spray into my lungs.

All this has helped. but it seems that if I let the amount of daily supplemented Mg drop too much, I too easily go into AF after heavy exercise. In other words, I have yet to find the right daily dose."

11/03/2009: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Generally speaking Calcium is antagonistic to magnesium. So taking a supplements of calcium is generally counter productive. The other problem is there is a supplement that sells magnesium, but the ingredients are useless, which consists of magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate and magnesium stearate. Firstly magnesium oxide is poorly soluble in water, magnesium is weakly soluble, while magnesium stearate is more like a wax which prevents the tablets from being easily dissolved. I would also not use calcium since it encourages blood clots in presence of high magnesium and worsens the heart as it is, besides calcium being antagonistic to magnesium. I therefore would likely use two forms of magnesium, magnesium chloride, or magnesium citrate. Some other marketing companies sells magnesium aspartate. That's counterproductive as it is an excitotoxins. When taking the supplements, it's also taken along with magnesium citrate (500 mg), may also include CoQ10, iodine, potassium citrate, and sodium bicarbonate. Electrolyte imbalance has to consider not just magnesium, but potassium and sodium bicarbonate. That being, vitamin B50, is important and it's effect is noticeably improved, at least in one case who was about to go into a heat attack, stopped within 15-20 minutes after taking the vitamin B complex, in form of B50, which are mostly 50 mg of each of the B vitamin, with exception of folic, B12, and biotin, which are often in microgram doses. I believe two most important onces for this condition is the magnesium and the vitamin B complex. A third runner up is the CoQ10, and followed by a natural Vitamin E 200 i.u.

I have a few cases who actually benefited from aspirin 500 mg, dissolved in a cup of water (taken only when there IS a problem) and iodine (lugol's supplement) taken at 2-4 drops plus 1000 mg of vitamin C taken at the same time, preferably in the form of sodium ascorbate. It tends to be warming the heart area when an iodine is taken, assuming that there is subclinical iodine deficienc of course. The iodine of 2-4 drops is taken in the form of lugols's solution, in a cup of warm water, along with the vitamin C. Whether a vitamin C 1000 mg or 500 mg, depend on individual needs, for me iodine seems to work better if 1000 mg of vitamin Ci is taken so that possible side effect of a mild headache does not occur, whenever an iodine is taken. However, if iodine lugol's solution is mixed in one liter of water, the problem of mild headaches doesn't occur as it is diluted one liter, and taken over the course of a day. Still the vitamin C 1000 is needed, but individual preference may prefer 500 or 1000 depending on the size and weight of the individual."

READER COMMENTS

02/15/2009: Jim from Tuckerman, Arkansas writes: "I've been suffering from heart palpitations for 37 years and had every kind of test run to see what was causing the problem. Guess what, the doctors could not find a thing wrong. Sound familiar? I have been observing the palpitations closly for a long time and I have concluded that they are caused by intestinal gas which exerts pressure up on my diaphram and my heart reacts to it, and by the way, one cardiologist said that I have a sensitive heart. This makes sense, since the gas pressure is there the heart will sense that and skip a beat or several in a row. Suggestions from anyone? Jim"

02/16/2009: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "Hello Jim from Tuckerman, That is a long time to put up with irregular heartbeats, but it could be something you are deficit in and/or a combination of that with eating stuff you shoudn't be. Believe it or not, I remember seeing a lady with what we call a bijeminal beat. No doctors had found a cause for it either. I suggested that she switch to whole grain products (including making her biscuits with whole wheat flour). The rest of her diet was very good with lots of home grown vegetables from her garden. Hardly any processed foods. Because she also was having trouble sleeping & admitted to some stress, a good stress tablet at meal times and bed time was also suggested. A few weeks later she dropped into the clinic just to tell me that she was feeling better than she had felt in years. Palpating her pulse while we were talking, her bijem was gone and replaced with a regular, normal pulse.

Now let's talk about those things you shouldn't be eating. Since you are sending e mails, I assume you have a computer and are on line. Do yourself a favor and type in (excitotoxins) in your search window and hit go. You will find that the two major toxins are monosodium glutamate and aspartame. Copy down all those names they hide monosodium glutamate (MSG) under and go into your kitchen and start reading labels on everything you eat or drink and you should also include any chewing gum, snuff, and chewing tobacco. You will quickly learn that almost every processed food in your kitchen contains one or both and both of them are known to cause heart palpitations, panic attacks, and other much more serious things. Don't forget to read labels on your raw meats that you bought at the supermarket, because I found two of the very popular brands of chicken and beef listed chicken broth and natural flavors or natural flavoring. Although MSG wasn't mentioned in either case, the chicken broth in one brand is loaded with MSG, and the other brand of chicken and beef also listed natural flavors or natural flavoring on the ingredients. This is also MSG. I have found a couple of brands of canned vegetables that listed from MSG, and mentioned it again in the same ingredient list under the names hydrolyzed plant protein, and natural flavoring. You are safer in the frozen food section, but stay away from the preseasoned frozen vegetables too because they are more likely to have one or both of the 2 major excitotoxins in them. You can find a few soups, salad dressings, sauces, etc. without them but it takes time, because it isn't easy to find them.

Now one other thing we need to talk about is magnesium, because this mineral has a lot to do with regulating the heart rhythm and the blood pressure. If you are still eating bleached flour products, this in one of those 52 ingredients taken out in removing the bran and bleaching process. Then they add 8 back and call it enriched! Truth is, it is depleted of 44 nurtients after this so called enrichment. Magnesium is one of those things that most of us would check out low on these days. Also magnesium is hard to replenish to the desired level without getting its laxative effect also. But since reading about transdermal replenishment to avoid the laxative side effect, thereby retaining the needed magnesium, it seems that my cup or two of epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) in a good bathtub of warm water should do a decent job of replenishing without getting diarrhea, and rather inexpensive to do when you can get a 2 lb. box of epsom salts at a few stores, like dollar tree, for $l.00. Why don't you give these suggestions a few weeks try and let us know how you're doing. LOL in this case means lots of luck to you."

REMEDIES NEEDED

1 BETTER BUT NOT CURED
1 QUESTION

10/03/2009: Dee from Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa writes: "Hi,

I am a 19 year old male and I have been having very weird heart palpitations and irregular heart beats. I sometimes stay up at night and can't sleep due to the fact that I am very stressed about whether I'll actually wake up the next morning or not (I know that sounds funny but it's really starting to become a problem). i also get regular pains in my arm/shoulder and chest, and I also get regular small headaches.(and I think the stress of this matter is making me physically sick in other ways as well eg: colds, flu, pains, nausea, etc) I have been to the doctor and they said if it happens again then i have to go to the emergency room. as expected it happened that night again, so I went to the hospital, they put me on some kind of machine that checks my heart rate and blood pressure etc. unfortunately I got there too late and my heart was fine again. They just said that my blood pressure it very high but other than that, they don't see a problem... Now I'm too scared to go to the hospital if it happens again because I am scared I am going to make a fool of myself again, and other than that my mom is paying the medical aid so I feel bad that she has to keep paying for something that the doctors think I don't have. I know my body and I know when something is wrong. But what can I say when professionals (apparently)say otherwise?

I am going to the shops today to get some ACV, but I just wanted to ask for some advice regarding how much can I take and how often, taking into consideration my age... I do NOT eat sweets and I have basically completely stopped drinking caffeine and having sugar in almost any form... I am looking for something that will not only take away the feeling but permanently stop the problems if possible.

If you have any advice that could be helpful (other remedies-what and how much?), please tell me. I am getting sick of having to check my heart beat every 10 minutes everywhere I go. I am a firm believer in natural remedies. and believe it is the only way to go... unless the problem is something that involves heavy surgery of course.

Thank YOU very very much for your time and concern

Earth clinic is an amazing website. (I even got a family member checking out a few problems of their own like eczema and many other things, as they too never go to the doctor or drink pills, and so far the problems have just been getting better and better)

hope to hear some feedback asap...

A wonderful day to all!!!

Kind Regards
Dee"

10/03/2009: Margaret from Chicago, Il replies: "Response to Dee regardin heart palpitations.

Dee, I am 57 year old female but was having heart palpitations a couple of months ago, so understand what you are feeling. Do you exercise a lot? I believe that mine were caused by running down my electrolytes by exercising too much in the heat, also I could have had lactic acid buildup in the heart. I found this website and the ACV and Blackstrap Molasses helped a lot. I also learned about oil pulling here from someone else who had heart palps and oil pulling stopped them. (Info on oil pulling is in the remedies tab on this site.) I did see a cardiologist who put me on Toprol, and who doesn't believe the exercise caused it. But I know it couldn't be a coincidence that when I started exercising too much, it started happening. I had also started eating yogurt again, and yogurt can cause palps because of its lactic acid. So I think it was a perfect storm for me. I'm not an expert, but I've been taking a teaspoon of ACV every morning with a dash of baking soda, doing the oil pulling in the morning, drink 1 TBS of blackstrap molasses in hot water throughout the day at work, make sure I drink water, and cut out yogurt. I also had a sleep test (told my cardiologist I thought I had sleep apnea), and I use a CPAP now. It comforted me to have gone to a cardiologist to determine that my heart was strong, but I had to find on this site what I believe caused it. Now when I hike, I put blackstrap molasses in my water and stay hydrated. Hope this helps."

10/11/2009: Bunny from Santa Ana, Ca replies: "Go get a thorough physical, NOW. At your age that collection of symptoms is very worrysome, especially the high blood pressure. Possibilities: magnesium deficiency, amemia or hyperthyroidism. A quickey test for thyroid is basal temperature. People with hyperthyroidism run hot. A Google search can give you details on that. Could also be an adrenal problem, or a problem with the blood flow to your kidneys. Get full endocrine tests-saliva tests are great if you can get them online. If not, settle for the blood tests the doctor offers. Ask for a ferritin test-in case of too much iron (not all that common, but not all that uncommon either). Push for answers-why is (whatever they find) happening. Get details. Don't let them just toss you a prescription and shove you out the door. Do not delay. I hope this helps."

10/11/2009: Mia from Ct, Usa replies: "This is in response to Dee from South Africa.

Dee, I have had exactly the same symptoms that you speak about, heart palpitations and the weird feeling going to bed at night that I won't wake up in the morning. I know exactly what you are going through! Be careful if you take apple cider vinegar because if you have a blood sugar issue it may make your symptoms worse. My issues are caused by something I eat, that I know. Anything with a large amount of corn syrup, like soda, will cause me to get dizzy and light-headed about an hour after I drink it. The symptoms last more than 24 hours. Something else causes erratic heartbeats and the weird obsessive feelings about not waking up in the morning, which I have yet to discover. I read somewhere on this site that someone who had a reaction to bread felt better after eating protein, so I started to do that too when I feel the symptoms and feel much better, but usually the next day.

I suggest you start keeping a food diary and jot down everything that you eat. Be very careful with any foods that have food preservatives, artificial sweeteners or msg. I think you may in time discover what it is that is causing the erratic heartbeat. Oh, magnesium oil around the heart may help you as well.

Let us know how you are feeling."

[YEA]  10/19/2009: One Guy from New York City, NY writes: "For Palps

This is a great site and I tried many of your suggestions. I started to get Palps after some stents were put in and I understand that often happens. Perhaps it was from a temporary med like Toprol, as some suggest..... However, here is what I recently added that seems to have worked... Palps seem gone 98% and that is with having a martini every other night.......

Magnesium Aspartate by Solaray - 400 mg one a day; Vitamin Shoppe Ubiquinol CoQ10 100 mg one a day; 3 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice in a glass of water ( Minute Maid 7.5 oz Frozen from concentrate - find it where the frozen veges are ) with 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, every morning; and Pediatric Electrolyte (must be kept in the fridge after opened, so drink slowly, not to shock the heart to create a palp) unflavored from Walgreens 2-3- oz plain, every evening before going to sleep.

That's it so far, but this, for once, these seem to have worked. As we know, it might be temporary, or even a coincidence but I hope others will say if it works for them.

Good health!"
