I have been adding Turmeric to every food and Thanksgiving leftovers are perfect!! It is wonderful on turkey, stuffing and used with plain yogurt as a vegetable dip. I drink lots of water too. "

"When we made a pot of vegetable soup last winter, the flimsy packaging of turmeric slipped and about 4 tablespoons of turmeric got dumped into the soup pot. We had made blended soup with green peas, green beans, 2 sweet onions, 5 cloves of garlic and vegetable stock. We thought it would taste terrible, but after adding cayenne and pepper it turned out to be delicious!"

TURMERIC, BLACK SALVE, TEA TREE OIL

1 YEA

[YEA]  02/18/2009: Lon from Stanhope, NJ writes: "Boils, possibly MRSA, and tumeric:

My son was hospitalized for serious, rapidly spreading cellulitis, which started with a boil. He responded well enough to antibiotics to come home, but although the culture indicated the boil was not MRSA, the boils did not respond to the various antibiotics the Drd tried. He developed multiple boils on and around his privates which wouldn't go away. By the way he's been hospitalized, had many surgeries and on intravenous and antibiotics many times for a digestive disease he was born with. The celulitis came back three times, while following the infectuous disease Dr's advice to control it, which was exhausting, frustrating for both of us and ineffective. Of course the Drs think you're not following their directions if their strategy doesn't work. Then I found this site! I gave my son one turmeric capsule three times daily for three days. A nutritionist suggested I watch the acid alkaline balance of his diet. Topically I applied black salve to any full blown boils. If I noticed any small emerging boils which have not yet formed pus at the tip, I apply straight tea tree oil to the tip only, being careful not to get it on the surrounding skin. I discovered the effectiveness of these particular topicals by observation after using so many topical remedies. The advantage of the black salve is that it stays on without a dressing. I couldn't use bandages/poultices because of the location of his boils. Nothing has worked like the turmeric, supported by the topical application of black salve and tea tree oil for healing the boils, as well as watching the diet. He now takes one turmeric a day for prevention. The origin i think is candida, but we're working on that.

My son has Down Syndrome, Hirschsprung's disease (never could spell it.), and an ileostomy, so you can imagine the difficulties with nutrition. It was an ordeal I thought would never end. I worried constantly that the celulitis would return. It's been almost a year without boils or cellulitis. Thank you for this site! If it wasn't for this site we probably would have continued with the endless cycle of antibiotics and hospitalization."

EC: So glad to hear the remedies have helped. We have just created a new cellulitis remedies page with your post -- thank you so much for the wonderful feedback!

TURMERIC, GARLIC

1 NAY

[NAY]  02/21/2010: Swimmer from Cumbria, Uk writes: "Hi

I have recurring boils, they stated out solely on my inner thigh but now I get them in other areas too.

After reading through your site, I am currently taking Turmeric capsules 800mg per day and Garlic 400mg per day, and if anything it seems to be bringing out more boils, I now have two on my stomach.I have just started the Garlic capsules 3 days ago but have been taking the Turmeric for a couple of weeks.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

S"

EC: Unfortunately, most of the people reporting Nays are using turmeric capsules, which contain other ingredients like magnesium stearate, a filler. The same may be true of garlic capsules. Much more successful a remedy (and far cheaper) is turmeric powder found in bulk at international grocery stores! Organic turmeric powder in bulk can also be found on the internet.

02/22/2010: Shaun from Old York, Uk replies: "Turmeric worked for me. I had an open sore (later discovered to be MRSA) on my cheek, which I thought I had gotten from either rugby (a finger nail scratch), or a scratch from something picked up in sub aqua diving in the ME. Anyway, I tried everything to clear this up (at one point I even convinced myself I had coeliac disease). What eventually did work was one teaspoon of turmeric 'mix' 3 times a day. Basically my mix was a heaped tsp turmeric powder dissolved in a tsp of virgin coconut oil. To complement this I took a tsp of black peppercorns (this catalyses everything and makes it more efficacious). After 10 days there was no sign of any sore what-so-ever. Seriously, turmeric is the business. No question."

02/22/2010: Dj from Pdx, Or replies: "I started to take Turmeric for a boil and found out it helps acne. I use Thompson brand. In an orange bottle. On the ingredients they list "Guaranteed 95% (285mg) Curcumins" My store carries 300 mg capsules. I take 2 in the am and 2 in the pm. I am no expert but from what I understand Deirdre has indicated most brands are not this pure.

Use directly on a boil. I make a paste of turmeric and castor oil. This stuff stains so make sure you get big band-aid patches and wear your grubbies to bed.

I hope this helps some of you having negative experiences with Turmeric."

02/23/2010: Cured from Niceville, Fl replies: "I am clueless when it comes to converting measurements but...it doesn't sound like you are taking enough turmeric. Up to 1 teaspoon/day, I take 4-7 "0" size capsules a day. This keeps them away until I slip up (usually on a weekend) and don't take then one will come up. I start taking up to 7 capsules and within 2-3 days it is gone.

I make my own because store bought ones have too many fillers. I just use the spice out of the spice aisle though now ordering online because I use so much. Also when you make a paste just use straight turmeric and water, no need for anything else."

TURMERIC, MAGNESIUM, APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

1 YEA

[YEA]  11/10/2008: Nicole from somewhere, New York writes: "I started using Turmeric for my painfull boils in my bikini line after reading the posts on this website. After a day or so, I was able to maintain my daily activities in life...SUCH AS WALKING ...HELLO! The Tumeric actually made my boils shrink, and helped me to not get HUGE boils- but they were still there, I didn't care because the pain I had before was nothing to what I had experienced before. I then started reading more on this website and decided to add magnesium with the Turmeric. In just one day my boil, my boil that would get as large as a grape, shruck down to just a small hard mass. No drainage just a hard, flat, little mass with a little swelling. Day two with adding the magnesium, it's gone! I also started using Dial anti bacterial soap and use a lofa scrub if I decide to shave in that delicate area. I had these results by taking two capsules 2 times a day of Turmeric and 2 capsules of magnesium. I have also thought about adding a little ACV into my diet.

Just want to share, and thank the creators of this website. Also since I have taken these supplements I have lost weight. This website has changed my life, any one that has suffered these type of boils anywhere on their body I am sure can relate to the pain and embarrasement it brings on to your social and private life. I am so happy to walk and feel comfortable with my body again. God is great, and I know he gave me the wisdom to find this site. I encourage anyone to talk to their PCP to ask how they may be able to implement supplements in to their life in a safe and healthy way."

TURMERIC, SEA SALT, LEMON

1 YEA

[YEA]  03/23/2007: Dave from Peoria, Arizona writes: "I suffered with boils and impetigo infections for years. The allopathic treatments have been a complete failure and have only made matters worse not to mention very costly. Started to use internal turmeric. Started cleansing wounds with sea salt and water in varying concentrations to remove exudate and puss. Applied raw honey to the wound bed several times a day, everyday. I drank: 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt and washed that down with 16oz. of water 4 times a day. I drink several cups of green tea with honey and raw lemon per day. I would take 1 gram of turmeric 3xday. This combination approach from the inside out is impressive. The honey is amazing. If you think about it honey is protected by antibacterial, anti fungal agents in order that it does not spoil in nature. There is much research done on honey and infections from many credible resources. It works better than any antibacterial chemical product. I have tried many."

TURMERIC, TEA TREE OIL

2 YEA

[YEA]  05/02/2008: Trisha from Walled Lake, Mi, USA writes: "I've had a boil in the groin area for the past 3 days. I was shocked to see this bump and googled bumps and everything i read was genital warts (GW). It couldnt have been because i dont believe they'd pop out of nowhere on me. Anyway i put ACV and the next morning it had shrunk and it in the meantime i was trying to let myself come to terms with the fact that i had somehow got GW. Second day i decided to switch to garlic- put it on for 15 mins and it burned like crazy my whole leg was sore but after a while it stops burning. By the end of the day the skin on and around the 'gw' had come off and it was raw and extremely painful i had to take some tylenol with codeine. 3 day in the morning i felt a lime size lump and almost had a heart attack. I had to tell someone i had a 'gw' but didnt and just said i had a boil on my 'butt'. I was in pain the whole and waiting to see this thing shrink and fall off so the whole night til 3am i searched a bunch of staff on 'gw' including pictures and trying to compare and nothing looked like wat i had so i looked up boils and first thing in the morning bought some tumeric and tea tree oil, came home and put it on the boil- now i believed i had a boil and was kind of relieved. The tea tree oil soothed my whole body- no more pain- joy. 2 hours later i decided to take a peak after taking more tylenol. I rubbed it with a moist warm cotton ball, I started squeezing it and 'SQUIRT'! a bunch of blood mixed with pus. Hooray it was a boil. So applied more tumeric and tea tree oil- soothing and i'll let u know what happens in the next 5 days."

05/07/2008: Lisa from somewhere, u.s.a replies: "I have some sort of cycst on my face. My dermatologist told me I will have to have it cut out and it might come back. I tried acv, castro oil, warm compresses and some medications. NOTHING has worked. I'm going to try this. "

[YEA]  12/25/2008: Kelly from Pekin, IL replies: "Thank you for the info. This is my story on Turmeric and Tea Tree Oil

12-14-08: Day 1

I had one huge boil in my armpit well I had to take antibiotics for 10 days and since it only went down half way they put me on another 10 days finally it was gone. Than about a week later I got 1 in the armpit again just in a little different spot, I finally got it down by lancing it myself and cleaning it but now I have 7 small boils in my armpit and I can not take this anymore so I went searching for some kind of cure. I came across this site and began reading a lot of the post more good post than bad so I thought I would try this Turmeric, well let me tell you folks hope you read what they say really good before trying it, I messed up I thought it read 1 to 2 TBS in warm water so I heaped up those TBS and mixed it up and oh my goosh I thought I was going to puke it was one of the most disguising taste that I think I have ever tasted. At that moment I thought I can not do this I am getting the pill form, but to find out it says 1 to 2 teaspoons and it don't say how much water use more than 4 oz like I did made it even worse and hard to swallow. I am still going to get it in pill form I do not think I could drink that mixture at all ever again.

I made a paste of Turmeric, Neosporin, Baking Soda, Lemon extract & Apple Cider Vinegar and tried to go to sleep ya right it wasn't working the pain was so unbearable.

Day 2

I woke up and washed my underarm to see and feel those things where still there and nothing had changed with them in there appearance or soreness. So this time since I am allergic to tape and I know I am but I had no way of keeping the paste on. I now have caused redness even more so around those things and some raw skin because when I tried to take the tape off it took my skin with it. I am in so much pain it has given me a headache. So now I think what am I going to do, I didn't have a clue, I decided to put some calamine lotion on all of it.

I seen that the roads where horrible out and I thought to my self oh no I am not going to be able to go to Wal-Mart to get those pills, so I decided to try 1tsp of the turmeric on orange juice it does not dissolve in orange juice, it was gross to say the least, maybe if I heated up the orange juice it would have dissolved but that is horrible hot OJ not for me.

Tonight I drank some more with warm water still disgusting as ever and this time I feel like I could absolutely puke, it has upset my stomach so much I will not do the powder thing again, it will have to wait until I can get it into pill form. Still no relief I keep taking 2 - Tylenol 650mg ever 4 to 6 hours, I have tried so many things the last couple of days I am about ready to give up and call the doctor.

Day 3

I slept with the heating pad under my arm on and off all night long it was the only thing that gave me any relief. I decided it was time no matter what the weather was like to go to the store and get some Turmeric (500mg) in pill form. I step outside and it is snowing and a blowing I was like oh my goosh, I didn't care I was going to get some of those pills. I knew I would not be able to drink another drop of that powder mixture. While I was there at Wal-Mart, I noticed they had some Tea Tree Oil and I remembered reading something about it but couldn't remember what I didn't care I bought some anyway, I was here and it was getting nastier out and I knew I would be stuck inside for a few days. I didn't see the Turmeric pills at first and I started to panic it was like dang gone it I drove out in this crap you all better have some, so I searched and searched and on the very bottom kind of slide back there they where. I dabbed me a bottle of them and by the way it was the only bottle left most becoming very popular around here. I came home took 2 right away and took the Tea Tree Oil and rubbed it on my boils and man does that stuff stink, thank god I am not out in public people would be telling me I need a bath. I had a couple of them break open but hardly anything came out of them.

Time for bed I took 2 more of the Turmeric Pills and I went and washed them again with antibiotic soap and doest the boils with the Tea Tree Oil and than put the heating pad on them.

Day 4 -9 did Turmeric and Tea Tree Oil regiment and used Heating pad at night
Day 10

They are all completely gone I am a firm believer in this now and Love the pills ;o)"

TURMERIC, VITAMIN E, TEA TREE OIL

1 YEA
1 NAY

[YEA]  07/27/2008: TJ from Chandler, AZ USA writes: "Tumeric, Vitamin E, Tea Tree Oil, Neosporin curing my boils. I had what I had thought was a pimple get severely infected so that it had spread down my inner thigh. About one week later, I had five very tender areas on my upper inner thigh. I ended up with 5 boils. The area from my groin down to my knee was swollen & red. I was deperate and started serching the internet for cures. I found Earth Clinic. We had tumeric on the spice rack. Started taking it immediately. I mixed one tsp in a small glass of warm water four times a day. AMAZING!!I also applied very warm water compresses every two hours for 15 minutes each. Within 8 hours, two of the most painful ones had come to a head. Within another 4 hours the other 3 had come to a head. After two weeks, they were healed. I had a few hard bumps left and came back to Earth Clinic. Discovered Vitamin E for the hard bumps. I now have tumeric capsules (450mg per capsule)! I have found that thanks to onset of menopause, the boils will continue for a while. I now take one capsule of tumeric/two capsules of vitamin E in the morning & one capsule of tumeric at night before bed. The hard leftover bumps fade out faster. I made the mistake of skipping the tumeric/vitamin E for two days and had a very nasty boil flair up! Tea Tree oil mixed with tumeric and put on the boil helps to soothe and bring to a head. Make the tea tree oil & tumeric into a thick paste (1/4 tsp of tumeric & a few drops of tea tree oil)and spread on a bandage, apply the bandage to the boil, change every four to six hours. After the boil opened with a little help from a sharp needle dipped in alcohol, I made a paste of neosporin and tumeric, spread on a bandage, and applied the bandage over the boil. After three days from start (Thursday) to today (Saturday) the boil has opened, is draining and the pain is fading fast!My sister who has dealt with boils for years and spent over $5000 on doctors, medicine and first aid aupplies. I have spent about $50! THANK YOU EarthClinic!"

09/12/2009: T from Maryland, Usa replies: "TJ, I buy a particular grape jelly for my son that doesn't have HFCS in it. I know we can't really give brand names so I'll just say it's in a slender jar and is "all fruit" :) They make a variety of HFCS-free fruit spreads (blueberry, strawberry, etc.). This is carried in my local grocery chain. It can also be bought online if you work out the brand name."

09/12/2009: Tj from Chandler, Az Usa replies: "UPDATE ON BOILS: While I still stand by my orginal cure, I have something to add. I had a MASSIVE outbreak of boils about two weeks ago. After doing a very careful evaluation of diet, vitamins, supplements and general life issues...EUREKA! I had upped my "high fructose corn syrup level"...sad to say, NO MORE GRAPE JELLY, Store bought creamy-style dressings, granola bars, etc.! My mom and I went through the kitchen and proceeded to read labels. Over half of the foods (including some wheat breads, granola bars, salad dressings) had the stuff in it.

Since cutting way back on foods with high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup solids and the such, I have in ONE week: 1) Seen a dramatic healing of all SIX boils, 2) dropped about 4 pounds and 3) have more energy.

NOTE: My daughter, who does extensive research on additives and is studying nutrition at college, says that it's because I'm getting rid of the "bad" sugars in my diet.

I had also skipped some dosages of vitamins and supplements. Now that I'm back on a full range. Life is much better. There is no way that I'll be able to cut out all of the offending/threatening foods from my diet. So, it will be in "moderation."

I still take Turmeric, Multi-Vitamins, Calcium w/Vitamin D, Extra Vitmain E and ACV. I know that there are a lot of comments on the the taste of Turmeric and ACV...well, who said the "medicine" was always supposed to taste good? It's not candy for the taste buds, it food for the soul and the body. I buy my Turmeric pills at WalMart (great price) and I keep some Turmeric in a small container in my first aid kit. You never know when you'll need some!

I drink roughly 32ounes of ACV in water daily. One large mouth water bottle, 2-3 teaspoons of ACV, One small package of a Sugar Substitute or a 1/2 teaspoons of Honey, 4-5 ice cubes, fill with water, Cap the bottle, then shake to mix. My water bottle holds 16.5 ounces of liquid.

Hope this update helps some of you out there. I'm not into over complicated cures. I like it simple and direct. Thanks to EarthClinic for everything!"

EC: Thank you for updating us after so long!!

09/13/2009: Dolly from Cairo, Egypt replies: "Hello TJ

I saw your post on earth clinic today, and I am interested to know something pls. did you get your outbreak even while you were using Turmeric? as everyone says that as long as you use it there will be no boils or outbreaks?! I was diagnosed with HS which is different than normal or acne boils, and I take Turmeric powder, so that's why I appreciate if you can let me know. Thank you so much.

Dolly"

[NAY]  09/30/2009: Tj from Chandler, Arizona, United States replies: "First, sorry about the delay in response!! Oh YES! You can still get boils while taking Turmeric. I am battling a VERY major one right now and was/still am taking Turmeric. I even added more Turmeric to my previous intake. (2 500mg tablets 3 times a day AND one teaspoon regular spice in warm water 3 times a day) I have now added 2 garlic cloves in the morning and 2 garlic cloves at night. After 24 hours, NO RELIEF! It has taken my left breast from a C cup to a DD cup! I'm going to try cream of tarter next. Good Luck and Bless Be"

10/01/2009: Tj from Chandler, Arizona, United States replies: "G'Morn! My apologies to the moderators for posting this one too while the most previous post if still pending. I can only hope that the posts are in order. ;-)

UPDATE: I never got to the cream of tarter. I went to the bathroom for a round a warm/hot compresses and (drum roll please) it was draining! A little background here: One of the boils had developed into a hole that I had thought was healing. I had even done some hydrogen peroxide to clean out any residue. I now think that was a big mistake. Jump forward to draining: four gauze pads later, it had slowed so that I could bandage it and have some dinner. I walked out of the bathroom to the kitchen and informed my mom that I didn't care if the cloves of garlic (chewing, putting fresh in food) played havoc with my stomach for an hour afterwards...IT WORKED!!!!! I promptly took out a large clove of garlic, chewed up half, down some water, chewed up the other half, drank more water, grabbed a spoonful of strawberry preserves (NO HFCS) to clean out the taste. We had chicken chow mein and mom informed me that there was a least 5 cloves in it. LOL

Mom also gave me some Tylenol 3's for the pain. The circles under my eyes for lack of good sleep is very noticable. I took a nice warm bath, warm compresses, more drainage. Then washed with Ivory. I know, I know, most people are recommending Dial BUT that soap is way too harsh for my skin and had proven to be the cause of my acne from teens to early twenties. I won't touch it. The Ivory (which I had used on my babies with no problems) gets me clean and is proving effective at clearing up the smaller boils below the waist.

As of 4.30AM, it is still draining (YIPPEE)! The pain is going down and so is the size. I do prefer my regular bra-cup size. Mom and I will be hitting the local dollar store for more garlic. Am I still taking Turmeric? Oh yes!!! One teaspoon (Not the measuring spoon!!) in a glass of warm water 3x a day. The glass size would be referred to as a "juice glass" or about 180mL. I don't do anything extra with it other than drink it before eating. That way my stomach shuts up and behaves!

I do hope that I've covered everything. If I haven't send me an email (my address is on the first post under this heading) or post it on the website. I am deeply greatful to EarthClinic for all of the wonderful info!! Bless Be"

10/02/2009: Susan from Bountiful, Ut replies: "My spouse took tetracycline for a boil because we didn't know what else to use. He's never had another boil but if he did I would have him try tko Orange around it. Boils might be a systemic problem tho."

11/04/2009: Tj from Chandler, Arizona, Usa replies: "UPDATE: Well, the good news is: I don't have MRSA. I did have a bout with MSSA (another form of Bacteria Strep). Landed me in the hospital for a week. I had the whole serious triple pack of I.V. antibiotics, pain medication injections, and gauze packed in my breast.

BACKGROUND: My right breast started to swell and within one week had gone from a C cup to almost an F. Skin started to peel and the infection was showing under the skin. I had to have surgery to lance it. I have now a 4" long gash, 1.5" wide and done to the breast bone. The consensus is that I would have been better off with a masectomy. I have also been diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2. Another nasty factor that contributed to all of the flair up of boils.

I'm going to start back on the ACV to help with the blood sugars. I still stand by a lot ot the remedies. As soon as the doctors clear me..I'm racing back to my vitamin E (internal) and Vitamin E/Coconut Oil mix (external) for the scaring.

ADIVCE: If you are avoiding the Doctor and are having repeated outbreaks...GET YOUR BUTT TO THE HOSPITAL ANYWAY!!!!! The doctor's opinion is that if I have waited another week...I wouldn't have survived."

TURPENTINE

1 YEA

[YEA]  08/30/2007: Joe Worsley from Advance, North Carolina writes: "In the early stages of a boil or common pimple or even pimples on the face or other parts of the body try dabing them with Turpentine - YES Turpentine. It's a old time remedy for a lot of things. They used to sell small bottles of what was called Rectified Turpentine in drug stores but it's very difficult to find these days. Art supply stores sell it for a high price. Common painters Turpentine works great. At the start of one and several times diring the day dab some Turpenting on the spot. You will be suprised most of the time that it will stop development at that point. I once told a Dermatologist about it and he said that it was highly allergenic. And I told him that it probably worked better than anything he could prescribe and he agreed!"

EC: You can still find turpentine in pharmacies and grocery stores throughout the in the USA. It's usually found right next to small bottles of iodine.

July- Duncan, OK. - I got chigger bites that got infected on the lower front of my leg.

Aug.- The infection spread showing up in new spots on the front of my lower leg. The new spots looked like oversized Zits with a white puss head 1/8 and a hardness under it of %uFFFD across.

Sept.- The spots on the front of my leg cleared up as new spots showed up on the back of my lower leg.
Mid Sept. - I went to clinic and the doctor gave me a ten-day supply of Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim. ($100) The sores cleared up and no new sores appeared until--

Nov.10th Duncan, OK. New sores with a different appearance appear on back of lower leg. These sores start as little red bumps and become red and scabby with a clear discharge.

Nov.28th 2007- These new sores have moved to the front of my lower leg and the old Zit type sores have reappeared

I returned to the clinic and the doctor re prescribed The same prescription ($140) but this time it had no effect. I have tried a number of things to dry out the sores to no avail they only got worse. Then I tried rubbing Vix vapor rub on the sores and saw improvement overnight.
I rubbed Vix? vapor rub on it twice a day morning and night. Then I draped a piece of sheet around it which I pinned to my shorts and tucked into my sock to keep the Vix off other stuff. The sores cleared up and were gone in about a week or so.

Dec.8 2008 about every 3 to 4 months a rash starts to reappeared and I just applied a little more vapor rub on it and it goes away again. This vapor rub need not be of the "Vix" name brand Walmart --equate-- works just as good.

After age 21 I had terrible huge pimples. When my pharmacist told me that some derms prescribed Vitamin A, I started on it immediately.. It was like a miracle, a moderate miracle. The huge deep pimples stopped and my skin improved in other ways.

I used to take 50,000 units a day but now I would limit myself to 25,000 units per day. Just be patient and don't stop the treatment."

VITAMIN D

[YEA]  03/16/2007: Julian from Bathurst , NSW Australia writes: "A common factor for most of the boil sufferers is the time of year, late winter when Vit D reserves are at their lowest. Vit D is a necessary part of the immune system. The Vit D Council (Google it) gives free information on doses and some amazing facts on its effectiveness for many ailments. I have used Colorless Iodine for unbroken skin pimples or puncture wounds for years and never get infections, Betadine for scrapes and scratches.Castor oil for sun blemishes, age spots and sun cancers. I work outside, get plenty of those. Used to get boils before I found Colorless Iodine, its getting hard to find (not much profit?) but some chemists will make it up."

WATCH YOUR SUGAR INTAKE!

[YEA]  09/06/2007: Sage from DETROIT, Michigan writes: "re: Turmeric works but not with a lot of Sugar consumption. Thanks to this site,' Turmeric has helped alleviate my boil problems in the past. However after a recurrence last month, I was reminded that sugar does inhibit the immune system. I ate some cotton candy (Straight spun sugar), and four boils popped up in the groin area two days later. I have already cut out pop/soda drinks which helps. Again I was reminded that plenty of water, fresh fruits, and veggies help keep the boils away. I know now that I am asking for problems when I consume too much sugar (also candy) and baked sweets. I hope that this helps others and I am very thankful for this site."

I mixed a tsp of Black Seed Oil with 1/2 cup of plain unsweetened yogurt, 1 tsp of Turmeric, and 1 crushed clove of garlic. I also drink Burdock/Goldenseal/Echinacea Teas to help boost my immune system."

Some times over night. Apply Watkins salve to the boil and also apply some to a band-aid and cover boil with band-aid. Works every time for me."
