My husband had a dark brown wart above his eyebrow and partially in it. It was ugly. He taped the banana peel on it everyday. Finally it crusted up, came off, and did not return. What I like is that is no scar and no loss of hair.

I've had warts in the same location since I was a teenager. They usually go with nitrogen but not this time. I finally underwent laser surgery (it HURTS), but it came back.

I read about using banana peels and how it creates an autoimmune response. I realised that I haven't had a 'fever' for some time which supposedly helps some people (and cancer).

Keeping in mind that I've been battling this for over a year - I started using the banana peel treatment 2 days ago. I took a small piece, stuck it over the wart and covered it with a bandage tape.

It has worked really well - the first morning after, parts of the wart turned black along with tiny bits in the area. after the second day, the small bits have fallen off and there is a 'dent' where the main wart is. Part of it has fallen off and the bit left over is black (which some websites have indicated as the wart dying).

Will be doing it again tonight - but so far am really happy and wish I tried this sooner!

Very effective cure against footcorn

I had a very unpleasant adorn/clavus/corn on my foot, which for a long time did that I almost could not walk. Bought Verrumal from the pharmacist - it did not work. Searched online and found "Banana Peel-cure". Thought at first it was a joke, but after two weeks the clavus disappeared Price: $ 0.00!

After 3 weeks of banana peels on my 1/2 inch wart now I'm wart free!! Didn't really believe it but I was out of options, dermatologist tried everything for a year but only made it worse, I mean isn't it unethical from the medical community to deviate patients into their methods that don't work instead of guiding the unsuspected public into a cure that really works and knowing that banana peel really works not provide the guidance a professional should provide? To me its an outrage, for all of those who don't believe in banana peel think again what has worked for your wart so far? Give it a chance, you wont regret it, to all of those bloggers out there thank you for posting your experiences if it wasn't for you guys I'd still have that disgusting thing on my finger.

Thanks again and good luck to those who are willing to try the banana peel!!

banana peel wart remedy

i came back here to tell the story of how a banana peel cured my wart while nothing else could, but i was amazed to see how many people got to it before me. so instead id like to answer a question i see repeated over and over about the application of the peel.

i think its safe to say that it doesnt really matter how you apply it to the wart. so long as the banana peel gets to touch your wart at least for a few seconds. the chemicals in the peel are EXTREMELY effective against warts. (well some/most warts)

also i believe the chemicals are most potent when the banana is still very unripe. im lucky enough to have a banana tree growing right outside my door, so i cut off a banana that had another month to grow and used the inside of its tiny green peel under a bandaid. i saw a reduction in size and little "hairs" poking out in just 12 hours! compared to other people who say 1-2 days.

this just goes to show you the simplest and safest answers are given to you by nature.

The banana peel is excellent for wart.. I had 2 plantars wart on my feets and a wart on my finger... After one week I was amazed black dots had been drawn out of the wart. I continued with this method for about a month they seemed better and then finished the treatment off. After 3 months they completely disappeared!

I want to thank God for Helping me to find this site and thanks all of you.

My son had a huge wart on his thumb. We tried the over the counter liquid, that didn't work. Went to the dermatologist and they tried freezing it, then they tried using a laser to get rid of it. Nothing worked. I found information on your website to try banana peel and I am happy to report IT WORKED! At night we took a piece of banana peel and put it on the wart, flesh side down, and put a band aid on it to keep it in place. He did not wear it during the day. We did this for about 2 weeks and the wart is completely gone! (I froze the banana peel to keep it fresh.)

I had a mosaic/cluster plantar wart for almost 5 years. I didn't try to get rid of it for about 2 years, as I read that it would likely go away on its own and it wasn't really painful. But, instead it grew and spread even to other members of my family. At that point, I tried salicylic acid (gel and pads), using multiple brands, as well as two treatments with cantharidin (beetle juice) administered by the podiatrist. The latter was extremely painful, and I needed crutches for a few days after each treatment. All in all, the doctor and over-the-counter treatments probably cost me over $300 and a lot of frustration and pain.

Ready to give up, I read about the banana peels. I kept fresh banana peels on the wart 24/7 for about 4 days and then changed to nights only for the next 3 days. I would change out the peels every 12 hours and always ate the banana that I used to get the peels. Well, whatever I did, it worked! I noticed within 3 days that good things were happening to the wart...it looked more dried out. And, then I started to see beautiful fresh pink skin start to appear where I'd not seen nice skin in years. It was the coolest thing ever. Three weeks since I did the treatment, I have no sign of wart and my foot looks perfect. It was a truly amazing thing and made me a believer in at least trying "natural cures" before some of these other things, at least for plantar warts!

After my wife had four treatments of liquid nitrogen that did nothing but multiply the colony of warts on the bottom of her foot and cause unbelievable pain, I found this suggestion on this website. With a great deal of skepticism, she tried the banana peel recommendation. She scraped the inside of a banana peel, applied it to the warts, covered the area with half of a cotton ball, and used medical tape to hold it in place. She put on an old sock and went to sleep.

It took about six months of a daily or every other day treatment to eradicate the entire colony, which covered half her foot. Some disappeared in days, some in weeks, and some in months, depending on surface area and depth. Some of those suckers were like pebbles.

It's very true. My son had warts when he was about 3, 4, or 5 years old. We read about this treatment in a Natural Remedy book for children and it got rid of his wart on his knee. So glad I remembered this and am going to use this remedy now for the big one on his palm. Yay Bannana Peels!!!

WOW THIS REALLY IS A MIRACLE. It really does work 100%. My daughter is 4 years old and was covered in warts they started as a small cluster in the crook of her arm within a month they had spread right down her arm. I took her to the doctor who said to leave them alone they would go within two years. After 4 months she was covered down the whole of one side of her body.It was hard to see any skin. After numerous visits to the doctor and specialists they were still growing but by now they were catching on things and bleeding and were very sore. I couldn't take her swimming or have any of her skin showing they looked so bad, children can be so cruel. I did try other things first like Wartner but they didn't work and just hurt, but then i found this site. Thank you to all who left messages or i wouldn't have tried this. I put strips of banana skin on the warts at night held on by very large dressings because there was so many and in the morning we washed the skin with lemon juice. At first they seemed to get worse and i did think what am i doing but i am so glad we persevered. Some nights her skin was to sore so we just had a few nights off then start again. Banana skin at night washed off with lemon juice the next morning. It took about a month in total some just disappeared others a white core came to the surface so i just pulled it out with tweezers they did bleed a bit but then i just again washed with lemon juice and they dried up.All the warts have gone.Today we have just returned from seeing the skin specialist who can not beleive her skin. Even the doctor could not deney it works he said he had heard of this before, so why not tell people! I have been told they will not come back now they have gone. You will need to use bio oil afterwards to help the skin to heal with no scars, but my little girls skin is back to being beautiful, only people with warts will ever understand the pain of seeing your child so upset because people will not play with her because of the warts. Please if for nothing else other than curiosity or your at the end of your tether try this banana skin wrap.Thank you to everyone who took the time to leave good advise i will be eternally greatful.

An easy way to apply the banana is to scrape the inside of the peel with a small screw-driver or something else with a blade a little wider than the wart. The scrapings can be applied as a poultice, as opposed to rubbing the banana peel directly on the wart. This made the application of the peel to the warts much more convenient for me and I was able to leave the scrapings on the wart until they dried. That said, after several weeks the cure did not seem to be working so I moved on to using white vinegar, which completely cured me in about two weeks. There are about 100 different types of warts so perhaps that explains the apparent lack of effect of the banana cure on my particular variety. I had used salicylic acid for about 4 months before trying either cure and while it removed the wart the wart kept coming back from the roots.

Banana peel for warts: I normally don't leave feedback, but felt I had to on this subject. I was recently looking for an alternative way to get rid of a wart on my daughter's foot. She had a plantar wart last year on her heel. Went to the doctor and did the freeze off method, by the way, she did not like that at all!!! It was very painful for her. So now this year there is one coming on her big toe. So I came across this website and read the reviews for the banana peel for warts. While reading I'm thinking to myself that this is crazy!!
So I gave it try, why not anything is better than the freeze off thing. It has now been 3 days and the wart is going away, it's shrinking!!!!!

I clean her toe right before bed then take a piece of the banana peel and rub it on the wart until well coated. Then cut another very small piece off and put it on her toe with a bandaid around it overnight. In the morning take the bandaid off clean the toe off. I do this everynight before bed. Now on day 3 and everything is looking great. The wart is flat and the inside is drying up.

Thank you for this website and all the other reviews!! My daughter is very thankful!!
We joke with her now and call her banana toe!! ha ha ha

Banana peels for planter warts works. It worked on my 12 year old grand son after about eight days of rubbing banana peel on nightly. My daugher cancelled his dermatologist appoinment. When she tried to explain the cure to the doctors office they hung up!

Banana Peel for Plantar Warts Worked! After two attempts with more persistence the second time - after being inspired by the testimonials here the Banana peel cure has worked a treat for me.

Initially, I was very excited to discover the Banana peel cure for Plantar warts that has seemed to have worked for so many. I'd had my first and only Plantar for about three months on the middle of the sole of my left foot. Previously I'd tried acid prescribed from my GP which hardened the skin - which i scraped with a scalpel but to no avail.

When i tried the Banana peel first - changing daily - i was on holidays and in the surf daily, and it didn't seem to work well.

On the second attempt, I was more persevering and instead of daily changed weekly using a combo of the duct tape. Also I ate more Bananas (about one a day) which I don't do previously as i wonder whether this may be part of the cure.

This is about my third week now and i must say no more pain. My food still looks a bit shabby with peeling skin etc but no pain or stony lump that characterized the wart. I'm confident its 98% cured. Will post again once its 100%.

Here's the method i followed:
1) Cut a small piece of fresh banana peel about 2cm square
2) Put it with the inside bit, the bit where the banana is, against my foot where the wart is/was
3) Rub it around a bit
4) Seal it to the sole of my foot with medical fabric tape (bandage-like duct tape)
(note i covered it with two pieces of tape broader than the peel so as to seal it - which was pretty much watertight)
5) Wait one week, remove clean, dry and repeat from 1)
