Castor Oil Packs are near miraculous!!

My 12 yr old son caught his big toe under a door and part of his nail ripped off. He was in a alot of pain, and is somewhat of a nervous nellie-patient, so I only had time to wash it with warm soapy water and then lather it with manuka honey and turmeric. While this worked great for a week or two, there was a minor infection underneath the nail and a scab, that he would not let be touched. Castor Oil packs to the rescue! I was able to wrap his toe in flannel and then some plastic wrap, with a hot water bottleon top for 1hr two nights in a row. This was able to turn the skin pink and healthy immediately, and then the scab and torn nail flaked off on their own the next day. The packs were able to heal from the inside. I never woud have even heard of them without this site. I luv EC!!

YES! After calling several walk in clinics after my BF got bit by a feral cat we feed, I went to Earth Clinic and searched for cat bites. We tried the turmeric powder suggestion (after applying diluted grape seed oil extract first). Worked like a charm. One week later you can't even tell my BF was bitten and it never got close to being infected!

Charcoal Poultice

Don't take the Cipro. It is a member of the flouroquinolones class of antibiotics. These antibiotics cause significant damage to many systems in your body for a significant percentage of people who take them. The percentage of people harmed is much higher than the few percent reported on the black box warnings. The effects are commonly seen weeks or months later and may require more than one round of treatment before they are seen. My daughter spent nearly 2 years suffering horribly from this drug. There are other much safer more effective antibiotics.

Oregano Oil

5 drops of Oregano Oil topped off with a carrier oil (I use EVOL or Coconut oil) in a vegetable capsule 3x a day will murder whatever nasty infection is creeping around in your body. I swear by it!! I can feel the change in my body after the first dose. Everyone needs it in their medicine cabinet, right next to the Tea Tree & Peppermint 👌🏻

Apple Cider Vinegar

Over a year ago I got some skin disorder from wearing dirty gloves. I ended up with about 10 patches on my hand where the skin would constantly peel off. I tried all sorts of moisterisers, then I had positive results from fungle creams and lotions but still kept coming back.So the Doctor was next, His medication never worked either. Then a bloke I know who proclaims to be an Alchemist said "Half water, half apple cider vinegar in a squirter bottle. Spray on the hands a couple of times a day. Plus drink a cap full". And wulla, its gone. Apparently it evens out the PH levels in the skin. I advise to use natural oils (eg. Coconut) to moisterise the skin also. Now to see if it can cure my reflux.

Raw Potato

Swollen & infected with a deep sliver or something, the tip of my great toe was hurting. Leaving town the next day I thought I should go to see my nurse daughter. Looked up remedies here, had a small potato in the house & I carved a place for my big toe & wrapped it in gauze.

Next morning, the swelling was gone, redness way better and by the second day--any sign of infection was GONE!

Hydrogen Peroxide

I'm surprised H2O2 doesn't get more attention on EC. Used in conjunction with DMSO (which gets the peroxide into the skin) will quickly nuke a skin infection.

I let the dmso/peroxide stay on the skin for a while. After the bubbling stops I mix colloidal silver gel with calendula gel (remarkable stuff! ) and apply. Cover with a large gauze to keep clothing from rubbing on the area. Has worked many times.

Charcoal

My 84 year old father was visiting and had an infected finger, sort of like an infected hangnail. The finger was red and a little swollen and it looked like it had some puss. I put a charcoal/flax poultice on his finger for the day. By evening, when I checked there was A LOT of puss. (The charcoal draws the infection to the surface.) I sterilized a needle and gently poked a hole in the skin, which was soft from wearing the poultice all day. I got out a lot of thick, opaque, puss. It was pretty gross! I put a new poultice on it over night. It looked pretty good in the morning but I went ahead and dressed it again and send him with some poultices "to go" since he was returning home that day.

A few months ago my father had scraped his arm and it wasn't healing well and was inflamed looking. I put charcoal poultices on it day and night for several days and it improved so much and finally did heal nicely.

Hydrogen Peroxide

For skin infections and folliculitis: Hydrogen peroxide is very helpful for diminishing the size of skin infections. I also believe it speeds recovery time. It is also a gentler (but not less effective) alternative to rubbing alcohol for those with sensitive skin. Hope this helps!

Cat Bite Infection

Two items will work wonders: For bites use echinacea, an herb. Buy the extract and apply onto white cloth or white paper towel and let dry against the bite. Apply ten drops more and let dry. Do it again.

One spider bite case I came across, I had the application on the bite (neck) for a dozen applications over a twenty four hour period.

While this poultice is working, take five drops of the echinacea in a glass of water and drink over an hour. An hour later another five drops in a glass of water and drink. I learned the amazing wonder of echinacea anti venom effect reading a book written by a Texas doctor who used it for any spider bite and even snake bites. The book was written about 1910. (Certainly I'm not saying to ignore going to an emergency room in case of any bite such as snake or dangerous spider.)

And also don't forget colloidal silver which can kill virus, fungus and bacteria. Apply topically with the same technique as echinacea discussed above. Also drink two tablespoons every waking hour for two days... Longer if the infection has been present for over a month. In the case of a long term infection the "bug" could have gone systemic and so I would keep using the silver or two months to make sure the infection is killed.

The bite you describe would have me using both echinacea and the silver. But if you can't get one, use the other. Echinacea also works great on ANY bite that I've come across... Any insect and when I get odd "itches" on tops of feet or hands, legs etc. , I just drip some echinacea on top of irritated area (any itching spot) and let the drops dry. Ten minutes later I re apply. It will dry slightly "tacky" but after the second application, the itching is gone.

Re: cat bites. I have had many rescue cats and not many bites at all. The ones treated at hospital took weeks and were unpeasant. But here is THE remedy. Would you believe next morning you can hardly discern the bite, all looks good and normal, no pain? The remedy is good quality turmeric. Stick your affected part into the powder and press it on right away. The bleeding will stop, the pain disappears. I always have turmeric in at least two places in the house. Any bleeding will be stopped. Antibiotics suppress the immune system so govern yourself with common sense. Next morning I could hardly see the tooth mark. By the way, when a cat bites, something is wrong with the animal and try to find out what you can do to help. Turmeric is a gift from the gods! Om

evaporated milk over bread you use it to an infected area n it draws out the infection. it even removes glass from your foot.

Calcium

It is more likely the magnesium cured the infection as it is a major infection fighter. It does many other things in the body also like stop migraines, regulate the heartbeat, normalize blood pressure, reduce pain and muscle tension, and on and on. Very research worthy.

Hydrogen Peroxide

I scraped my foot on a rock at the beach and didn't try to squeeze any blood out nor treat it with disinfectant, thinking it would just heal ok on its own. Unfortunately it got infected. I tried all the remedies listed on EC plus some creams recommended by a few pharmacists in different countries.

One thing I noticed is that the infection was always not painful after getting deep sleep, but then it would get painful during the day. So deep sleep is always key, but it wasn't sufficient to fully heal. Next, I noticed that simply keeping the wound moist was critical. Even soap water on some paper taped onto the area helped a bit. Any EC remedy which keeps the area moist without allowing more pathogens to grow will help.

But the only thing that actually strongly fought the infection during the day was 6% h2o2 taped onto the wound. It would need to be reapplied every few hours as otherwise it dries up. The reason I think this works better than other EC remedies (which exception of DMSO which wasn'tt listed but should work), is because the 6% h2o2 literally dissolves skin (slowly) and scab formation, so it is able to slowly penetrate into the area in this way despite not being able to penetrate skin directly or immediately.

I was really shocked that neither AI nor any medical professional knew how to treat a skin infection correctly. I am glad I had this learning experience because it's a very common problem for many people.

Flaxseed Poultice

Flaxseed for infection, boils, etc

Grind flaxseeds to a powder in a coffee grinder. Make a paste by adding warm water. Make a pouch out or linen or cotton cloth and put paste inside, the size of the pouch depending on the area you want to cover. Replace with new wet paste as the original starts to dry. It's important to keep flaxseed wet or it won't work. Place on infected area and watch how it will draw the pus. Usually you will know it has completed the job because there will be a hole where the infection was. Keep it clean and the body will heal the opening.

My son once scraped his temple area on a picnic table (he fell). I put hydrogen peroxide on it. It got way worse! The ER doctor told me to never use it on the face area.

I have used h2O2 on my face many times with no problems. I use it for cold sores mostly. Try to put it only on the affected areas and maybe dilute it by half. Be careful around the eyes of course. I usually apply with a cotton ball to prevent any possible splashing.

Oregano Oil

I recently fell 30 feet off a ladder shattering both my feet and severely breaking my left ankle. After two surgeries to fix my left ankle, I started to get an infection in the hole my bone popped through. My doctor gave me some antibiotics to take for 5 days. Shortly after taking all the meds, the infection got worse and spread to the surgical incision. A friend recommended using oil of oregano to battle the infection. I started taking 3 drops 4 times a day under my tongue. Within 2 weeks my infection was gone and the wound itself was reduces by more than half. Needless to say this has won me over to natural remedies.
