THIS WILL bring your blood PH back up to 7.35/7.45 where it needs to be and your blood stream with natural t/killer cells will work properly. This will even destroy dormant cancer cells in the body because cancer cannot survive in this environment. Well, after recently recommending that someone should use pH test strips, I thought to check my own pH this morning. I was excited to see that it was about 6.5, which I believe was a great number for the morning, especially when I had had coffee. Then I realized that perhaps the pH was good because I had been drinking an alkalizing drink yesterday, and have been for days, since I discovered a new recipe. I thought I ought to share my recipe. This is really helping me to stay hydrated in the heat because it is so delicious that I drink a lot of it!

Lime Alkalizing Drink

  • About 8 fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4-1/2 cup of lime juice (I have bottles of organic lime juice that I am using for this. I don't measure, this is a range I think I am using.)
  • 1/2 gallon of water
  • 15 drops of Stevia
  • Put basil leaves in the bottom of a glass jar. Pour lime juice over leaves. Use the end of a wooden spoon to bruise the basil leaves in the juice. Add water. Add Stevia. Refrigerate. Drink as desired.

Fresh basil is my second favorite thing about summer. (Fresh tomatoes are my first.)

Basil is easy to grow and can be easily grown in a container on a porch or maybe even in a sunny window.

Something to Think About, Regarding pH -

pH is all about water. Your pH is the pH of the water in your body.

Regardless of whether "your" pH is too acidic or too alkaline, the *reason* it's "too" something is because of "too much" of what's IN it. It's CONCENTRATED and it's concentrated because you're DEHYDRATED. Which, most people are, but the point is that the BEST buffer and the way the body FIXES itself is with WATER. Plain old water. Not tea, not juice - WATER. Which is what creates the profound time difference between starving to death and dying of dehydration. The body needs a constant, steady supply of plain WATER. There's no way around that.

Regardless of which system is handling which problem. it's handling it with WATER.

Too acidic, too alkaline, it doesn't matter. It's ALL just dirty water. In a properly hydrated system, it's created by normal "housecleaning" but the body knows when it's housecleaning and "dumping" dirty water and refilling with clean water is all part of the process so it's temporary. UNLESS you're DEHYDRATED. In which case, it's chronic and ALL of the housekeeping your body is trying to perform is an attempt to clean things up and keep you alive is being done with DIRTY WATER. It has no CHOICE when you're dehydrated. It MUST use dirty water 24/7, when you're dehydrated. It can stretch things out by rationing and even by sacrificing less vital organs by taking them off the housekeeping schedule - but not forever. Systems will be breaking down the whole time.

THAT'S emergency mode and most people are operating from that state of dehydration and dirty water. Water you wouldn't even want to TOUCH, let alone wash in or drink. Filthy, dirty water.

SOO, set the timer on your phone to go off every 2 hours during waking hours and drink 10 good gulps of water when it goes off. 10 gulps. That's it. Easy peasy. That's about 8 ounces. Every two hours for 16 hours a day. That's 8 cups of water. Even if you THINK you drink plenty of water, which, for some reason, people convince themselves they do when they don't - do it for a week. And that's PLAIN water. No baking soda, no mineral powders no herbs - just plain water.

Trying to heal or feed an organ or subsystem that the body is deliberately sacrificing to keep you alive is pointless and using chemicals in an attempt to force it to abandon those efforts and do what the puny brain wants it to do is dangerous.

Your body knows what to do but it needs water to do it and clean PLAIN water to do it correctly and effectively. Every bodily function requires water. CLEAN water. NOT water full of the stuff you're trying to use to fix the effects of not drinking enough water.

Once you start a regular regiment of drinking it, you'll start recognizing the body's signals that it needs more. Signals that are probably mistaken for hunger or other cravings.

Can I add Sea salt to ACV and not effect the PH or alter it in a way that takes away from its full benefit. I noticed that when I add the large grained sea salt it disolves very quickly. While in water it takes some time while stirring it briskly.

Ted from Bangkok often advises us to alkalize the blood using just Sodium Bicarbonate in water. But what does alkalize the blood mean in plain English?

To illustrate this, let's just consider the effects of Chlorine in our water supply. If you take a shower or two every day with chlorinated water then your body will absorb 25% of the chlorine in the shower water through the skin. And if you also drink chlorinated tapwater, then this will also increase the chlorine in your blood. And when chlorine goes into your body -- to keep it simple -- this is the reaction of chlorine with water:

Cl2 plus H2O ==> HCL plus HCLO(hypochlorous acid)

So we should notice that Hydrochloric acid (HCl) forms in our blood from the chlorine and this is continuously happening because we shower and drink chlorine in our water every single day -- and so it begins to accumulate in excess.

(Please understand that the the above description is considerably more complex than described above -- but I've kept it simple for comprehension -- since outcomes are the important thing. )

As a defense, the body uses its Sodium (Na) ions to neutralize this excess acid in our blood by converting the hydrochloric acid to Sodium Chloride which is then cleared from our blood by the kidneys. And the result is that more and more sodium ions are removed from the blood until electrolytic imbalance occurs which disrupts all the important sodium pumps in every cell and organ in the body -- thus upsetting the nutrient and excretory diffusion gradients between the blood and the cells.

After a certain point, the body then starts to remove calcium from the bones to neutralize the hydrochloric acid. The body also breaks down tissue proteins into Ammonia which is also used to neutralize the chlorine and which creates dangerous chloramines in the process. And the whole effect of this process is caused by continual acidification of the blood by chlorine intake, resulting in wide disruption of nutrient pathways further resulting in sudden and continual loss of weight through body tissue wasting.

And I haven't even mentioned the extra acidifying effects of processed foods or fluorine or heavy metals or drugs in our diets yet which also helps to cause and aggravate the same acid problems and conditions.

But if you take sodium bicarbonate to alkalize the blood -- this reacts with HCL thus:

NaHCO3 plus HCl %u2192 NaCl plus H2CO3

H2CO3 %u2192 H2O plus CO2

So taking just sodium bicarbonate with water is highly beneficial against acid blood caused by chlorine. Notice also that Carbon Dioxide is increased in the blood -- which has the further effect of increasing oxygen intake into the blood by the lungs via the CO2/O2 gradient. The effect of taking sodium bicarbonate alone is therefore a lifesaver for people with severe acid blood condition with body wasting problems.

Many people seem not to bother with Sodium Bicarbonate with water but, in the above, I have tried to explain just one aspect of the importance of alkalizing the blood with this method. And as you can see from the explanation -- it can be a life saver!! Perhaps now more people can more clearly see the importance of why it is so necessary to both alkalize the cells AND the blood.

From the above, here are a couple of simple and easy experiments you can try that are quite useful as rough guides.

First fill up a glass with ordinary tapwater and add 1/4 tspn of sodium bicarbonate to it and stir it in. If the water immediately tastes quite salty, your water supply is significantly chlorinated or fluorinated -- because the sodium bicarbonate is reacting with the chlorinated (acid) water to immediately form salt. This experiment tells you how badly chlorinated/ fluorinated your water supply is. The stronger the salt taste, the higher the chlorination factor.

Second experiment. Ensure that you have not drunk anything or eaten anything for at least an hour. Now take a small dab of sodium bicarbonate on a spoon and put it in your mouth. If it immediatly tastes salty, chances are that your body is acidic. If it does not taste at all salty then your body is fairly alkaline.

These experiments are only meant to be rough guides but I still think they are useful.

Why were you thinking of taking such a high dose?

Hi Heavenlightly... Regarding diet, I myself did not eat a raw diet when I cured my candida -- although eating a raw diet would certainly help. I just ate no dairy(including no yoghurt), no sugar, no sweeteners, no canned food, avoid all anti-biotics or drugs, only ate red meat a few times a month, and usually only ate white meat and fish with alot of veg and cooked everything in VCO(which is cheap in the Philippines). My problem was that I had eaten too much processed food for so long in the UK, before I moved to the Philippines. When I moved to the semi-provinces, I bought virtually everything from the wet market, no processing. This also helped.

Muscular aches and pains are usually caused by body electrolyte imbalances ie the body calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium need to be re-balanced. To much unregulated calcium always builds up in the muscle tissues causing acidity and pain. Nowadays, due to a bad diet(with everything is now heavily fortified with calcium), achieving excess calcium is easy. Calcium has therefore been overstressed in its importance in diet in my opinion. The emphasis, especially for older people like myself, should therefore be on proper magnesium and potassium intake, which are always lacking in Western diets. Magnesium regulates calcium in the body and is also involved in over 300 enzyme reactions in your body which makes it one of the most important and essential minerals in your diet. I now take a liquid mixture (only sold in the Philippines) containing all necessary minerals in a solution of fulvic acid and sodium ascorbate solution which I find ideal to replace minerals in the body as well as as an aid to neutralize body toxins. But just using natural sea salt everyday would also have similar effects.

Milk of Magnesia worked well against my jock itch and was all I needed. Another simple mixture I now use consists of:

2 tablespoons Milk of Magnesia
2 Tablespoons 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
1/2 teaspoon Borax(20 Mule Team)

MoM specifically kills all bad microbes with its high alkalinity and because it is hydrophobic, therefore dehydrating and killing the bad microbes that way as well. Hydrogen peroxide kills fungus, bacteria and viruses electrically by oxidation. And the borax is introduced to specifically kill any other associative fungus/mites involved. This is also a remedy originally recommended by Ted on EC for topical use. It is very effective -- even helped to get rid of a friend's psoriasis when none of the drugs recommended by his doctor's worked -- and the nice thing about it is that all the constituents are cheap and easily obtained.

Regarding your sinus allergy, the use of Lugol's is very beneficial to the body, and is another body friendly element that the body is usually lacking. Doctors will only ever talk about iodine wrt thyroid. However, it is also well known that iodine is used in every mucus gland in your body, including eyes, nose, throat, mouth, throat, intestines, uterus, prostate and breasts. In mucus, iodine is therefore one of the first lines of defense against infection in your body. Recent research has also revealed that iodine also has anti-histamine effects on the body, when taken in larger doses. The RDA recommended for iodine these days is 150 micrograms. This will cure some thyroid problems but no other associated problems because the rest of the body requires over 100 times more iodine than is recommended. Here are some links to the most current research concerning the benefits of iodine:From a speech by Max Gerson(Cancer and Tuberculosis Therapy) regarding the usefulness of minerals and iodine wrt allergies:

"The patients are given thyroid and lugol solution (lugol's solution is iodine plus potassium iodide) I learned first through the so-called Gudenath tadpole experiment that iodine is necessary to increase and help the oxidation ability. Then we gave the patients large amount of potassium. (12) It took about 300 experiments until I found the right potassium combination. It is a 10% solution of potassium gluconate, potassium phosphate (monobasic), and potassium acetate. From that solution the patient is given four teaspoonsful 10 times a day in juices. That large amount of potassium is introduced into the body. (12) At the same time 5 times one grain of thyroid and 6 times three drops of lugol solution, ½ strength. That's 18 drops of lugol which is a large dose. Nobody was observed to develop heart palpitations from that, even if some patients told me that they could previously not take thyroid because they would develop heart palpitation. And all allergies disappeared! Some patients claimed that they could previously not take one teaspoonful of lemon juice or orange juice - they were allergic. But when they are well detoxified and have plenty of potassium, they are not allergic. Allergies and other hypersensitivities are eliminated."

Whole Fruits cured my acidic problems. The Acidic problems of today are because we under Alkalined! If you go search for Alkaline diets, they will give you a list of Acidic foods and Alkaline Foods. You will see immediately why you are having Acidic problems. Once you concentrate on eating Alkaline Foods for a few days, you will see that your acidic problems are gone. Once your system is back in balance, then you eat like you like and just correct when need be. But the most important thing is that Whole Fruits, which are Acidic, are ALKALINE once in the stomach!!! One Cantaloupe or an Apple does it for me.

Very interesting that you didn't mention mixing the baking soda with lemon juice. I keep telling people not to mix it and no one believes me. It only makes sense that if you activate the baking soda by adding lemon juice by the time it gets into your system its potential would be less or non effective. Baking soda is actively strong only once.

Mixing it with plain water allows the baking soda to react with the body's acidity thus making more alkaline.

I also like your suggestion of having it in the bathroom. This increases the chances of taking the remedy. If I haven't start this treatment maybe this is the reason why. When walking into the kitchen my first thought is "coffee" and I've been trying to make it be "baking soda". Having it in the bathroom will take the coffee out of the picture. Great point. Thank you.

I'm taking 2000 mgs of MSM and my PH level has gone from 6.5 to 7.5. I was taking baking soda but that's a hassle trying to take it in between meals. I just realized this today bc I was actually taking the MSM for my terrible arthritis, so now I hope it helps resolve my pain.


Alkaline Urine

Hi Ella...If you have systemic Candida(in the blood, tissues and organs), you will have to do much more than just alkalize to get rid of it. Perhaps, since the doctors cannot determine what's wrong, it's best for you to find out more about your problem.

First you should get a hair analysis done to find out what minerals/vitamins are lacking in your body and diet. A hair analysis is much more accurate(and cheaper) than a blood analysis. A blood analysis will only really tell you what minerals and vitamins you have eaten that day. Much better to get a hair analysis which will show you a good average of the nutrients that you are lacking over a specific period of time.

You also have a reflux and burping problem. To help to get rid of the reflux, follow the advice given in this link: The GERD Protocol.

If you think you have Canidida, then you can follow this protocol: The Anti-Candida Protocol. At the end of this document are two Alkalizing Combo protocols. To make it easier, I would just start taking both the Lugol's Iodine alkalizing combo protocol and the Borax alkalizing combo protocols on alternate days(don't take them both on the same day). These two protocols are strong anti-candida protocols. If you get a Herx reaction from any of these two combo protocols then just reduce the dosages. Later on, when there is no more Herx, you can also perhaps start the main protocols in the above link.

The sour taste in your mouth is usually an indication that your cell pH is too low(acidic). So continue taking the ACV + water + bicarbonate protocol at least twice a day outside meal times. I would also continue with the bicarb + water protocol if you can -- you should always take this one an hour after eating your meal. Taking it this way will also improve and aid main stage digestion in the duodenum and should also help to alleviate your digestion problems.

For normal blood pH, your urine should be within pH 6.4 to 6.8. But as I've said, your problem isn't with your blood pH -- your problem is perhaps more due to a lower than average body cell pH.

Lastly, to help with your iron deficiency and anemia I would take at least one tablespoon of Blackstrap molasses every day. You should also take Zinc(25mg) and B6(2000mcgs) every day for the anemia.

The constipation may well be due candida issues but you could also try taking ox-bile + pancreatin tablets together with Senna tea(once in the evening). Senna is a gentle laxative that will also help to kill any unwanted pathogens in your intestines.

For the pain in your upper abdomen and back -- this could perhaps be due to gallstone problems. Taking Chanca piedra as a tea or as capsules -- 500 mgs twice a day with meals -- should help to dissolve any gallstones if you have them.

The remedy for acidity is drinking plain water and sea salt - either on your food or a tiny bit under the tongue, to keep your electrolytes in check. Set a timer to go off every waking hour and every time it goes off, drink a half cup of water. No "sipping". It can take up to 2 years to rehydrate and senior citizens seem to get dehydrated by avoiding drinking plain water for fear of incontinence but dehydration is what puts the urgency and inability to make it to the bathroom in incontinence. Dehydration and diuretics make it worse, not better.

G: Your body is very toxic and it will take some expertise & time to get well again. For now, take whole body hot water bath and add 1/2 cup Epsom Salts once a day every day for 7 days, then one every-other day for maybe one month. At which time also add 1/4 cup Borax (sodium tetra borate).

More detox & cleansing remedies will be needed so come back here and give us updates on your progress.

Hi phoenix...I read your article with interest, though I do disagree with some points. Your belief that alkalizing is not useful for the body's balance and homeostasis -- or specifically useful to maintain the pH of your own body is incorrect from my own direct experience with these remedies.

As you know from another post, I had candida, and the only regimens I took to specifically target the candida were Ted's lime/lemon or ACV and baking soda remedies from this site. This was the main protocol I used for my candida problem. I used no other drugs or special diet here. Other than the normal symptoms described for candida, I was also always constipated and my saliva was always thick and tasted quite sour.

I took Ted's regimen daily, plus molasses and coconut oil every day as well for minerals and the constipation. And I say again, I took no other medical drugs for the candida. The point I'm making here, is that after 8 years of suffering candida and all its various internal and external symptoms, the only possible thing that could have cured it was Ted's alkalizing remedies. But it did take a year of using this protocol to eradicate the candida. And there is absolutely no way I would except any judgement that my candida just disappeared "by itself". If you know anything about fungal infections, rarely do they just go away...

I've also noticed in my own surfings on the internet concerning alternative herbal and chemical therapies, that much of the so called research, for instance, that is supposed to disprove the efficacy of herbs like Pau D'Arco(lepechol) against the likes of cancer and other ailments -- is nothing more than what I call "spoiler research" -- or poorly executed research specifically instigated to fail and disprove any claims made for any herb regarding its efficacy against cancer. They still use the Pau D'Arco herb even now in Brazil and Paraguay as an effective treatment for cancer where it has been used as a reviving tea for centuries(doesn't this alone qualify Pau D'Arco is a GRAS herb?). Fortunately, the dirty influence of the FDA has no reach or influence in South America. And so the US cancer industry -- or cut, poison and burn -- as it is so affectionately called these days, is fully preserved.

You might want to investigate the ordinary chemical called DCA or Dichloroacetate, which is causing quite a stir at the moment regarding a cancer cure. DCA is currently used as an accepted(by the FDA no less) protocol for a genetic lactic acidosis problems. DCA effectively neutralizes the lactic acid and stops the pain of lactic acidosis. Strangely, since the effect of lactic acidosis also occurs widely in cancer due to its method of respiration by glycolisis or fermentation, the neutralization by this acid, as well as the alkalizing effect of the dichloroacetate would seem to be the prime reason for its curative effect on cancer. And yet the pharmaceutical industry have already said quite openly that they are not interested in DCA as a cancer protocol -- no patent possible, so no profit possible. You can study all the evidence for this, just type "DCA cancer" in Google -- you will get thousands of hits.

The difference between your posts concerning the use of, specifically, Ted's alkalizing remedies and my posts on alkalizing, is that I have used all of them, and they have generally been a complete success -- and I still use them. So I am speaking from direct experience and you are from a somewhat weaker position.

Your arguments against alkalizing using the body's mechanism of homeostasis that alkalizes the body on its own, are very poor and lack simple logic I think. For instance, it is well known that the body, when asleep works its hardest to maintain homeostasis, which tries to return the body to a balanced electrolytic state and in particular -- to it's own safe pH zone. Well known also is that the majority of heart attack deaths occur at night when people are asleep. Could it not be that the person's body is just too acid due to excess process food and bad diet and pollution? You make the mistake of just assuming and believing that the body's homeostasis mechanism -- as well as, perhaps, the immune system -- is just in perfect balance all the time. A gross mistake I think.

If you are going to comment and judge any of the protocols on this site, the best way is to try them. I guarantee, from my own experience, that the majority of these protocols are completely safe with little or no side-affects. And they worked for me, and no amount of FDA research spam will change my view at this point.

There's really no argument against that is there ?

Hi again Everyone...Concerning this acid/alkaline state and what state is good or bad for you, I have read numerous amounts of medical research from Medline, PubMed and other sources concerning viruses, fungus and cancers.

It is fairly well known that either an internal state and pH 9(very alkaline) or 5(very acid) would not be beneficial to your body. Also well known is that cancers, viruses, fungus etc prefer acid mediums or body states that are always acid because it aids in their lifecycles. The first reason is respiration, fungus and viruses excel in acid environments because this helps with their respiration or glycolosis (anaerobic fermentation). In certain research I have also read that viruses penetrate host cells using acid enzymes, and also, once inside the host cell, viruses also use acid enzymes to help in its reproductive stage within the host cell. This also applies to fungus. So, as Ted says so often, this is why it is so important to alkalize both your extracellular fluids(blood) and your intracellular fluids when you are ill with a virus, fungus etc. When you alkalize, the virus reproduction and spread is therefore slowed and hindered, giving a better chance for the immune system to overpower the virus eventually.

As well, if your body is too acid (or even too alkaline) -- or out of its proper healthy pH zone -- then it stands to reason that your immune system will also be affected and its defensive capabilities against foreign microbes will likely also be depressed.

Another point, your gastro-intestinal tract or intestines also needs to be slightly alkaline as well as oxygenated for exactly the same reasons as above because bad microbes can also breed and spread there. The intestines, strictly speaking, can also be regarded as external to your body like your skin, because there is no blood. Intestinal Candida will take hold easily if junk processed food is eaten too much. Once inside your intestines, and if nothing is done, the candida may go systemic via the blood or into the mesenteric cavities, eventually affecting other major organs like the liver or pancreas or kidneys, as well as helping to invite other diseases into your body because of a depressed and overworked immune system.

So the best way to stay healthy is to provide and maintain a healthy body terrain for yourself. And since most of us eat acid forming processed foods, containing a barrage of strange chemicals, heavy metals and dangerous halides like chlorine and bromine in our diets, and since this creates the perfect acid medium or body terrain for bad microbes to engage and spread rapidly within or bodies, it would seem to make sense to help your body by simply alkalizing your body terrain thus helping to return your body state to its own proper and healthy optimal alkaline pH zone.

Hi Cindy...My protocols for getting rid of my candida are defined elsewhere on this site. Here is an older post by me which describes this protocol:

"I had candida three years ago. My symptoms were psoriasis, eczma, BM and toilet only once every 4 days if I was lucky, tired and sluggish all day, severe grogginess and brainfog in the mornings, jock itch(tinea cruris) and overweight. I also regularly caught colds, flu etc many times a year on a regular basis.

This is what I took to cure candida:

* Ted's alkalizing remedies using either whole squeezed lemon/lime or 2 tbspns ACV plus 1/2 tspn baking soda(Arm & Hammer brand) two or three times a day. This is Ted's Alkalizing Remedy and this is THE NUMBER ONE CURE for Candida in my book.

* One tablespoons of virgin coconut oil stirred into my coffee at least 2 - 3 times a day.

* Blackstrap molasses in my coffee, no refined sugar or aspartame sweetener allowed in my diet. BSM also added more potassium to my diet and also helped to balance the extra sodium from using the baking soda.

When I started this remedy at the beginning, I got fairly severe flu-like symptoms -- it almost seemed as if the remedy was making me worse. Your liver and kidneys are overworked initially, until your immune system can get on top of it. After this die-off it was easy. All my skin problems just disappeared slowly (except the jock itch -- but that's another story) and I haven't had a cold or flu in 2 years."

I also took a daily decoction that I made consisting of three herbs just to support my liver, kidneys, blood and immune system throughout this protocol. The 3 herbs were: Tinospora cordifolia, Chanca Piedra (Stonebreaker) and Tumeric root. I gathered the fresh herbs and made the decoction myself(I live in the Philippines). But you can other use other simple herbs such as Milk Thistle, Dandelion, Burdock or Liquorice and Ginseng in support just as well.

I got rid of my jock itch(tinea cruris) by using athletes foot powder(because I found out that tinea cruris is exactly the same fungus as tinea pedis -- or athletes foot), and by using Milk of Magnesia at night after my shower(just dab MoM straight over the affected region). The MoM was very soothing, and has a pH of 10, which will kill any bacteria, virus or fungus. My tinea cruris disappeared in only 2 days. I had had this jock itch for 7 years, and no drugs or special creams had ever worked.

Your position is that of the conventional medicine. However, you seem not to be aware that the pH of stomach varies. The stomach pH is not always 2 all the time. It varies between 2 - 6. This has been known for hundreds of years. When drinking water, pH does not get reduced in the stomach. The liquid goes quite quickly through the stomach. The stomach will produce a pH at two when a person is hungry. Most foods such as bread has a component of baking soda. The intestines creates bicarbonates to reduced the acidity. In many cases intestines get irritated whenever the body cannot produce the needed bicarbonates, creating the condition of bicarbonate deficiency, thus causing the irritation. So using baking soda does not create intestinal irritations as claimed by the person below. I was a student of biochemistry and my professor was able to prove that a large majority of the U.S. population has a bicarbonate deficiency which causes the leaky gut sydrome. Apparently, the stomach was unable to neutralize the acid created by the stomach acids because the body's imperfect chemical factory to produce enough bicarbonate to reduce such alimentary irritations.

It was also proven in laboratory conditions that before a virus or a cold conditions, the body's stores of bicarbonates get severely depleted, and there is a mathematical relation between bicarbonate deficiency and susceptibility to colds. The reason, as explained by biochemistry professor so clearly: the body's could not maintain the buffer so adequately making one's body very susceptible to infection.

I am not sure if anybody drank water every 2 hours ever anywhere in the world... People drink water/fluids when they are thirsty 99% of the time. Just observe animals, they will go drink water when they are thirsty...

What exactly do you mean by 'plain clean water'? Distilled water, RO water, spring water, tap water?

Can drinking too much water cause sodium and electrolyte deficiency?

8 cups per day for all body weights? A 50kg woman should drink the same 8 cups per day as a 100kg man?

What about fresh vegetable juices, raw fruit, raw veggies, raw milk? These contain 80-90% clean water...

I know people who dry fasted for 20 days, I dry fasted personally for 60 hours. I know women who dry fast for 13 days every 2 months. I know natural therapist who heals by reducing water intake to 600- 900ml total fluid per day...while other advocate drinking 1- 2 gallons of water per day.

Historically people drank when thirsty and most of the time they drank VERY weak beer and wine.

Something does not add up.

Hi Rebekah, having worked with different types of pumps as my job for a number of years.(I rebuilt them) the problem probably is that the metal the impeller is made of is reacting to the water, could even be the pump body .If they are made from pot metal or aluminum the minerals will react with the metal. The fix would be to replace the impeller with a plastic one or a chrome plated one. Plastic or chrome will not react to the minerals. You would have to disassemble and check for corrosion, rough metal or pits, discoloration depending on how long water has run through it. Hope this helps.

I was taking acv everyday for several weeks and came down with an uti. drank a stronger dose and had blood in urine. Went to Dr and checked my urine and ph level was 6.5. took antibiotics and it cleared it up. Now... should i be adding baking soda to it seeing that i am acidic? And why would i even get an uti when i was already on acv drink.i also hear that when a person has anxiety problems like me, it could be caused from being too acidic. Can someone please help me decide what i should be doing. Thank you so very much

The number you get is the amount you should drink daily

ex 200 lbs. half is 100

therefore 100 ounces is what you should drink daily.

Try aloe vera juice! It wipes out most stomach problems, it most surely alleviates the burning! They sell some with flavoring by the food isle, however I buy the gallon which is organic and no flavor near the pharmacy isle in my supermarket. I take a shot glass worth and immediatly you feel the difference.

My son got sick on me last year, he caught a virus, he thought he was gonna die and begged me for a hospital. Of course I knew he needed a little T.L.C. but again he thought he was on his death bed. I took him cause he said his chest hurt and he was throwing up.

Long story short, dr's prescribed him medicine at $10 each pill. KRA-AAAZY! So I bought a gallon of aloe and gave him a shot, he went to sleep and when he woke up, he was fine! Since then, I've given everybody I know, when they feel ill, with GREAT results!

Amen to that, I have found that natural cures have work so well on me and my dog. My dog was diagnosed 3 years ago for bone cancer and I chose to use a natural method and he is still here. If I had choose the onconolgist method it would have cost 8200.00 instead it only cost me around 300.00, to go natural. In all my studies on natural cures; not one was costly. The doctors and pharmacuticals companies worked together and make billions. So sad that when some doctors take an oath the most important thing was their pocketbook.

I've been using peroxide since 2006 (one year before I found Earth Clinic). Up until this past January, I would take breaks from using 1 1/2 teaspoons with 1/4 teaspoon of borax in 1 1/3 litres of water. I'm using it to increase energy, and hopefully reduce long term mycoplasma. Since January, I've increased to almost 1 tablespoon of peroxide, and a rounded 1/2 teaspoon of borax. Although if I'm fatigued which is quite often, I don't feel much increased energy, but I've noticed my PH is much more consistent, between 7 and 7. 35. I'm just getting concerned if this dose is safe long term. (By the way, since Canada has restricted access to food grade peroxide March, 2009, the price for one gallon has increased from $8. 00 - bulk buy, to $75. 00! ! And that's if you can find a gallon. It's mostly available after registering with the government and buying a large drum. I am looking for Miracle Mineral Supplement (MMS) which I've recently discovered has been re-labelled as Water Purification Drops (WPD) here in Canada, so hopefully I'll be able to switch to this soon.

MMS can easily be made at home with a little care.

2-3 drops of NaClO2 (sodium chlorite) and then 2-3 drops of HCl (hydrochloric acid) are placed in a test tube - not the other way around! . Thereafter, an amber-colored reaction occurs whose vapors are highly toxic. I prevent the vapors from escaping with my thumb on the test tube. Afterwards the test tube has to be filled up with pure water about 5 times in order to rinse it thoroughly. The water is filled up to 1 liter to 1.5 liters until it can be drunk with a little effort.
The effect was increased resistance to viruses. I did this 3 times with a 1 day break in between.


MMS kann mit einiger Vorsicht leicht selbst hergestellt werden.

In ein Reagenzglas werden 2-3Tropfen NaClO2(Natriumchlorit) und danach 2-3Tropfen HCl(Salzsäure) gegeben-nich umgekehrt! . Danach entsteht eine bernsteinfarbene Reaktion dessen Dämpfe hochgiftig sind. Mit dem Daumen auf dem Reagenzglas verhindere ich das Austreten der Dämpfe. Danach muß das Reagenzglas etwa 5mal mit reinem Wasser aufgefüllt werden um es gründlich auszuspülen. Das Wasser wird auf 1Liter bis 1,5Liter aufgefüllt bis es mit etwas Überwindung getrunken werden kann.
Die Wirkung war eine Höhere Widerstandskraft gegen Viren. Dies habe ich 3mal mit jeweils 1Tag Pause dazwischen gemacht.

Why does everybody want to have alkaline urine?

I recently read the book 'Folk medicine' by D.C. Jarvis that is recommanded by this website. It is very interesting because the good doctor made numerous in-depth studies about acidic and alkaline urine in animals, children and adults. He went about very methodically in years and years of observations and found out clearly that an ACIDIC urine is healthy and that an ALKALINE urine is a sign of stress, over-exhaustion and the onset of disease.

These findings make me happy because they co-incite with my own experiences and those of my family. The healthier we are and the more healthfood we eat the more stable our urine is on the acidic side.

I know that the trend at the moment is that everybody wants to have alkaline urine. But why? Are there any studies or any other proof? When researching this topic years ago I could not find any. Can you enlighten me?

Thank you for making so much effort to answer my question. Here in Europe many people are fanatical about getting their urine alkaline. They even swallow many tablets to achieve this - and in Jarvis book there are convincing scientific studies that alkaline urine is a sign of distress. I am worried for all these people who may be going in exactly the wrong direction.

My son, who is 10 years old, never took any medicines, let alone antibiotics, E-numbers, preservatives or any junk food. Just a wholefood vegetarian organic diet with plenty of fruit and green veggies. He is as healthy as any mother would wish. His urine is solidly acidic. So, something must be wrong with the idea that health equals alkaline urine. I am grateful that I found Jarvis' book and wished more people would actually read it and not just quoting it.

Dear friends,

I would like to improve ph. I am considering taking baking soda on a regular basis. One physician said it would cause reflux and that it would interfere with the acidity of the stomach. I recently came to understand that you take soda an hour before eating so as not to interfere with this acidity. I am also considering putting it in lemon juice. I also read a recommendation of using soda 1 week and using h2o2 the next. I have developed arthritis as well as osteoporosis and lung problems. I've gotta start knocking some of this out before everything gives way. I would really appreciate some input. thanks.

After being obsessed with my chronic atril fib for some time now I have studied and studied the problem and have determined the enemy is our food, our diet, cooked food with little or no nutrition with additives that are making us sick and creating an acidic condition inside the body. It is this over acid condition that creates the problem. Cancer can not exist in an alkaline body, parasites and fungus can not live in an alkaline proper ph body, yet they thrive in a highly acidic body such as our diets create today and that is what is causing many of us to be sick. Doctors give us drugs that create even more acid and haven't got a clue about what i am talking about. Apple cider vinegar works because it alkalizes, baking soda works because it alkalizes. These are temporary measures that give temporary relief the end result will have to be a major change in diet and lifestyle for all of us. Any time food is cooked to a temprature of 118 degrees or higher enzymes are destroyed and nutrition is lost. A raw food diet will help many of us. I believe the acid in our case has accumlated around the heart causing our problem, eliminate the acid and eliminate the problem. That's my theory and i will let you know how my condition comes along since i have chronic never ending atril fib that almost gave me a stroke and put me in icu a year and a half ago.any that doubt what i am saying can just google body ph and you will see much has been written on the subject. No chronic degenarative disease can be corrected until the body ph is corrected

The setting of the timer and the amount of water is two-fold - it will highlight the fact that one isn't drinking enough plain water, that sipping isn't drinkiing and SECOND - if you're not feeling good, you're going to feel a whole lot better. It can take 2 or more years to properly hydrate but, iin the process of hydrating, a lot of things are going to happen. Healthy things.

As for the amount, it's probably not nearly enough because the body expends so much water cleaning up after all the other crap we eat and drink. And that's on TOP of the water needed to do the job it's supposed to do in a healthy body.

I respectfully disagree. Historically people drank water or other fluids when they were thirsty, NOT every 2 hours a specific amount.

If the diet contains lots of FRESH RAW vegetables, fruit, raw milk, raw eggs, raw meat, then the water intake will be low.

If one eats mostly cooked, dehydrated food, then, water intake should be high.

IF you feed your cats and or dogs with raw never frozen meat/organs/raw milk, then, they will not drink water at all. If you feed them 'normal' dry cat/dog 'food' then they will drink A LOT of water.

What type of water do you drink personally? Reverse osmosis, distilled, spring, well?

What did you mean by saying not to sip water?

I just thought I'ld put up some interesting information on the relationship between electricity or body voltage and health. This is just another well-reasoned explanation and diagnostic method for identifying and dealing with chronic disease. Dr Jerry Tennant is famous for this electrical approach to diagnose and cure disease. In his view, the body is simply a battery consisting of many smaller batteries -- or cells -- in series. If your body or local voltage is at the correct negative millivolt levels then you are healthy. But if you're cells are too positive - lacking in electron donors - chronic disease will arise.

This electrical aspect to health also ties in well with what Ted from Bangkok has described in the past about using ORP, pH and Conductivity meters to monitor your own health.

Very interesting stuff, here Bill. I have known now for a while that what ever I am dealing with, always responds well with adding baking soda. He never mentioned the dreaded Morgellons, but boy this sure sounds a lot like it. Fats turned into plastics in the bodies cells. Most people who believe they have Morgellons test high for silicone in the body I have read this somewhere. I guess silicone could be a type of plastic.

I watched another video of his, after I viewed the one you posted and he talks about the sleeping bugs inside of our bodies and the damage they cause when they are given the right environment to thrive and use their digestive enzymes to attack us.

I am going to go back a watch this again and make some notes.

Thank you so much for posting this video. I have been doing a lot of research into Morgellons and this seems to make the most logical explanation to me. Like I said he never mentioned Morgellons in the video, but I picked up a lot that to me it sounded as if he was explaining this disease, just not calling it by that name.
