Hi, Im female, very elderly, and suffering with a lot of pain in my hips and pelvic area. Also, my balance is not good, and I dread the time when I'm unable to get out and about. I've been told by the medical profession that I do not have arthritis. Over the years I've taken many supplements but none have helped. I was prescribed by the doctor to take Co codamol, but whilst this eased the pain a little it caused awful constipation. Trawling through back posts on Earth Clinic I came across a recommendation for Guaifenesin to ease pain, and did find some cough linctus containing this. I took a generous teaspoonful, and discovered it did take the edge off my pain. So my questions are how safe it is to take on a daily basis, and has anyone else taken it for pain relief?
