Top Natural Remedies for Fibroids

I have suffered subserosal fibroids along with endometriosis and endo cyst in the left ovary for 5 years, the pain used to be crippling but I was given prostap injections along with mirena coil and it worked wonders. 5 years on and all hell has broken out. I have absolutely no pain but the fibroid and cyst started to flare up again, I was given another round of prostap which has shrunk the cyst slightly but teh fibroids have remained the same. They are not keen on giving me a hysterctomy as they said it was too dangerous. I am currently taken a herbal rememdy of Angus Cactus and Female Essence but have seen no difference. Would the ACV work in reducing the fibroids or is it only effective if you are having bleeding as well?

For Lady who have FIBROID / NON-STOP BLEEDING, I'm not sure if this can cured but it works for me. Earlier, I had non-stop period. So, I went for check-up and the doctor said that I've fibroid. But unfortunately, he said there is no medicine to cure or to stop my bleeding. So, I have searched through a lot of articles and found one that stated anti-inflammatory tea can work for fibroid. So coincidence, I have a tea in which my mother gave it to me. I looked through the box and saw the word 'anti-inflammatory'. So, I took the tea and the period/bleeding had stopped. After that, my period turned normal. The tea name is 'CAT'S WHISKERS TEA'. Maybe you can try and see if this can cure your fibroid or avoid from getting more.

Tania, Just curious to know if you had any shrinkage of fibroids since taking Apple Cider Vinegar in nov 2011? I just started taking Apple Cider Vinegar a week ago. Today my period started and over 7hours and still haven't change a pad... Just spotting. Hoping this will continue. Would like some feedback on possible shrinkage or fibroids be gone.

Thanks Saphire.

I am extremely thankful to earthclinic. com and all the people who have posted their responses regarding the effectiveness of Blackstrap molasses for menstrual related and fibroid related problems.

I am a working woman aged 50 and had been having a terrible time since the last 5 years. I was suffering from heavy bleeding during my periods which was progressively getting worse by the month.

In Dec 2007 I was told that there was a fibroid in my uterus which was about 4 cms. But the gynec suggested that once I reached menopause there wouldn't be any problem. So I decided not to do anything about it. A year later the sonography showed it to be the same size. So I wasn't too worried. But my periods had become a little more painful and heavy. I attributed it to approaching menopause and still did nothing.

In Dec 2009, my annual health check up revealed that my hemoglobin had fallen to 6. 7 and the fibroid was now slightly larger, around 5. 8 cms. By now I had reached the stage of dreading my periods every month as now the number of days had gone from 5 to 8 with the second and third days being extremely painful. Sometimes the pain used to be so intense that I used to literally faint.

The period after that was one long suffering as now I would have incessant bleeding for upto 15 days at a time. Still, I held on in the belief that menopause would surely happen and I would be free of this torture.

However, the sonography in Jan this year showed that the fibroid (still one in number) was now 6. 7 cms, hemoglobin was 8. 4 (after taking an iron supplement everyday). Everyone, family, friends, office colleagues started berating me for my inaction, urging me to go for a hysterectomy. By now I too had become tired of the constant torture. My life revolved and was governed by when my periods would start and stop.

So finally in March I went to see the gynec to finally resolve the matter. She said there was no way out except surgery.

That was when I googled "how to shrink fibroids naturally". I came upon ur site and was highly encouraged by the responses. But I wasn't sure how I could procure this product in Mumbai. But luckily for me, a few searches and phone calls later I came to know that it is available in Mumbai. I immediately placed an order which was delivered to me in 3 days time.

I started taking it on 10th March. 1 tbsp every morning in a glass of warm water. Today is the 5th of April. My last period had lasted 14 days with extremely heavy bleeding and HUGE clots almost for the entire duration.

This month, my period started on 3rd April. 3 days are over, but I just cant believe this. There has been ABSOLUTELY no pain, hardly any bleeding and simply no discomfort. As if the past few years never happened.

I shall keep you informed of future developments. A big THANK U to all.

Maria, Thank you so much for putting this important information out. I have had many doctors tell me that I didn't need my uterus because I wasn't having anymore children. I felt who were they to tell me that I didn't need my uterus. As a woman I just feel that this is what makes you a woman and why should we let someone take that away if not necessary. If someone faces an emergency situation then they may not be able to avoid it, but otherwise, keep your uterus.

I do not have insurance and that makes it really hard to get a Dr to help you. Well on top of no insurance I'm also very obese so every time I do complain to a Dr all I get told is "lose weight and it will get better. " Well, I've tried losing weight and I am working on that but it's very slow. Anyways, for the last yr and a half I have been bleeding. This bleeding is very random, sometimes it is a 24hr thing and other times I may bleed only an hour a day. If I don't take 2 or 3 advil every night I usually get woke up with killer cramps that usually require me to hurry up and take some advil and get in a hot bath, then I just wait for the horrible bleeding to start, and don't get me started on the clots. But, my point is, this is an everyday thing for the last 2yrs.

I found this site and decided I would try the apple cider vinegar and baking soda. Oh my, I started this 2 weeks ago, and after 3 days I stopped bleeding. I haven't gotten to the point that I would have a regular period yet but I feel like it might be normal. Just to have these last 2 weeks and not cramp or bleed has been a blessing.

Hello.. I am 47 yrs old and was diagnosed with fibroids about 1 year ago.. My gyno said the only option I had to deal with them was a hysterectomy.. This last cycle I bleed about 8 days, lots of clots and severe cramps.. So I decided to start the ACV and BSM regime two days ago.. I put 1 tbsp of ACV and 1 tbsp of BSM in a cup of red rooibos tea in the morning with a wee bit of stevia and it makes for a tasty tea..... Oh yes, I also quit drinking coffee four days ago and going to cut back on meat products because those that are not organic feed the fibroid growth... I drink more water since I'm not peeing as much now that I've stopped coffee and going to exercise on a regular basis.... I just finished my cycle so I'll keep you posted on how my menstrual is next time around...

Hello All, It gives me much joy to report that I am on the ACV and BSM regime and IT WORKS!!!! Many thanks to the person(s) who created this blog and took the time to share their information about these two wonderful products. When I first read about it, about a month ago, I figured why not, I didn't think it could hurt, but now I wish I'd known about it soooo long ago.

I am an AA woman, 46 yo with no health insurance and have been diagnosed with fibroids and cysts. I had a fibroid myomectomy (sp) approximately 5 years ago and have been informed that they have returned, mostly on my right side. I am overweight with a history of cancer, hypertension and diabetes in my immmediate family, so time to get to work! I am on an otc iron supplement, I work out and am taking the Apple Cider Vinegar (4 Tbs per day) and Blackstrap Molasses (2 Tbs per day). I've cut back on the dairy, am taking additional otc vitamins and have incorporated shepherd's purse in my diet, not consistently, but in my diet as well. I use the shepherd's purse when I see/think the spotting will begin.

Sooo.... I am currently on my menstrual cycle, I'm on day 3 and my flow has been reduced DRAMATICALLY!!!! I have only had to take 6 pain meds (taking 2 at a time) over the last three days and I can't begin to count the number of pain meds I normally would have taken by now. By now, I usually would have gone thru at least half of a package of SUPER LONG MAXI pads, I've only used maybe 6, no more than 10 so far. I am still clotting, but the pain is MINIMIZED and have not had any MAJOR accidents, some small ones, but that's getting better. I'm not taking the baking soda due to the sodium content.. Don't want to chance it, but overall, I am sooo much better. Thank you so much for the information and will continue to keep you abreast of my progress. Fibroid and cysts removal for all!!!!!

Peace and Blessings, CP

Hello Maria come off the pills, you do not have to tell your ob, these people just want money they do not care about your health. I was also on the pills and they did not help me. So I stop taking them. And never went back to a doctor. Then I took some cayenne peper and BSM and they stop. And you have to stop eating meat, egggs, cheese let's say you have to go on a diet veg and fruits you can also try the beets and carrots, Blackstrap Molasses and red wine. I wish you wellness.

Hi all, I am 27 yrs old and has been diagnosed with multiple fibroids with a couple of them as big as a red plum.. I had this severe pain on to my back running down thru the sides of my thighs and under my abs.. I always had pain during my periods but last month it hit me the worst with 3 continuous sleepless nights.. My husband tried to call after hours doc and they didn't respond.. I felt like I was going thru labour..

It was after this episode of severe pain, while I got a small cramp, I was praying to God to heal me that I googled up for remedies and I found this site. I could not believe the number of testimonials here.. I was so happy to find it.. And went to find the ingredients... Had to search for a while to find Blackstrap molasses.. For all those in Australia.. Try looking for them at health food or organic stores... I found one in a store called The Natural City.. Under the brand name Willowvale organics... I am not having a lot of pain in the last 3 days since I started having it.. But I am scared to death as my next cycle is approaching.. I really hope that this will help me.. As I will be starting to work from next week and it is going to be my probation.. I hope I will not have any problem to conceive a baby which I am hoping to happen some time soon.. I hope all of get better soon and will be able to lead a healthier life.

Hello Ladies, I'm now 54 and 4 years ago began menopause, not one period since then. Yeah!!! I used to have problems with fibroids and still have the fibroids but no problems unless I dont listen to my own adivce. I wanted to share what was reccommended to me by a holistic Dr..... Change your diet!!! Chicken, meat and eggs are coming from animals injected with hormones and these same hormones are feeding your fibroids and helping them grow. Have you seen how big chicken wings are now days!!!! Hormones! When I used to have myperiod I had huge clots ( like liver and onions) but when I changed my diet , it all got much better, no clots, no cramps and I felt much better. I still love chicken but now I buy it from Whole Foods and buy cage free eggs , the extra money is worth the freedom to be able to eat and be pain free. Ive shared this info with some friends and it has helped and I hope it helps someone out ther too. I chose this option because I dont want to have a hysterectomy. God Bless us all, we go through so much at least give us our chicken!!!

Hello, I am a 45-year old South Asian woman (not Oriental) who has been on orthotricyclen for fifteen years. Within the last two years my fibroids grew and now they are the size of a 5-month pregnancy. My symptoms are: I get full relatively fast when I eat; have to pee once an hour; and one heavy day in my 4-day period; and slight bulge in my profile. My OB suggested a hysterectomy. I was about to do it and then saw the rate of prolapse post-hysterectomy and that horrified me. That was when I began to look for other ways to lose the fibroids.

On your website I saw the hundreds of testimonials about ACV and BSM and beets so I tried it four days ago (for four days) and I bled yesterday - a full week before my regular period. Mind you, I've been like clockwork for 15 years on the pill. I'm still on the pill and cannot believe I am bleeding (unsulfured BSM). But for some reason the bleeding did not annoy me: instead I was elated, and I felt as if a curse had been lifted after 15 years. I bled about an hour, just a little; then today again I am bleeding a bit. It's not blood blood, but still blood, if you know what I mean.

So obviously this means that my homeopathic experiment can absolutely bust through the synthetic hormones that I am getting through the pill. Now I've noticed on this website that a lot of women who are NOT on the pill are controlling and even shrinking their fibroids through BSM and ACV. My question is, what do I do now? I know that estrogen feeds fibroids but I also see that almost no doctor will say that the pill feeds the fibroids (as you know the pill is a mix of estrogen and progesterone in varying ratios). But I'm starting to think that the fibroids are indeed being fed by my pill; and that they are growing bigger now because I am making less progesterone (as I age and get closer to menopause). I am thinking of going off the pill by first going on a lower dose pill (currently on 35 mcg) and then weaning off that, while doing the BSM and ACV the entire time. I will tell my OB but she's going to freak out, I know it. Especially when I tell her about the BSM and ACV.

Any suggestions?? Anyone know what will happen once I stop the pill? Will the fibroids get really big if I stop the pill?

A hysterectomy may lead to a prolapse about 5-10 years down the road. The uterus is not just there for holding a fetus; it's very important in helping support the abdominal organs such as the intestines and the bladder. The abdominal organs stay in place due to a network of ligaments and pelvic floor muscles. When the uterus is removed as in a hysterectomy, this support system is greatly weakened and so these other organs have a lot less support, and tend to fall down or move into spaces they normally don't. (please google images) If you have a partial hysterectomy, the top of the vagina could fall down; sometimes the bladder herniates and sometimes the bowel moves into places it should not- all these lead to more surgeries down the road.

Interestingly, when my OB suggested hysterectomy to me for my fibroids, I do not remember her saying one single word about a prolapse down the road. I wonder if she is shilling for the OB surgeon. It's also possible that prolapse happens more often if you have a weak pelvic floor to begin with; but, as a woman ages, her ligaments and muscles get weaker anyhow, and chances of prolapse get higher even if she has a normal pelvic floor. I do not want to contribute to that by having a hysterectomy- not if my fibroid symptoms aren't that bad.

I use to bleed very heavy and some times I think I went three months straight, and sometimes my periods will come thee times in one month and it will last for eight to nine days. And I will bleed a lot thru two pads and I will have to take a bed sheet and tear it and make myself a padding that will try to hold all of that blood. I did not go to no doc because I know that they cannot help me, they will give me pills that will not solve my problam and then they will tell me get a operation and take out my womb. And then they may kill me trying to take out my womb. I do not trust doctors. Because I know women that have this bleeding problem, and some of them end up dying on the operation table. I am telling you that to tell you this, I believe in God and I believe in his words and he say in his words that the herbs are the healing of the nation and I do not believe that GOD give us women a womb to be taken out. The chemicals that mankind put into the animals feed does destroy our health imaging God make male and female to produce a yong one and they having female chicken laying eggs without a cock (male) by just putting chemicals in the feed, and they just produce eggs the chicken, eggs, let's say meat is damaging our body...

Let me tell you what I took to stop my bleeding, cayenn pepper and, black strap molasses, or molasses and apple cider vinegar. I know because I am a living proof of what I write and tell you. I am healed. I do know that this will help.

I'm 43 and found out about 5/6 years ago I had a 1" cm tumor in my uterus and every year I had my physical and complained of heavy bleeding and abdominal pain. And my doctor never ordered anymore test ultra sounds ect. So this last summer I insisted and she had her nurse call to tell me it grew and to see the gynecolgist she reffered and do whatever he says. The gynecologist himself called me and said it grew and there were now multiple tumors and my uterus is enlarged becasue of it. So we're trying to reduce the size with birth control pills but he's almost positive they can't just be removed I may need a hysterectomy.

Now I'm furious because my own doctor could have watched them and I could have caught them in time for just the tumor to be removed now it's too late.

I wanted to know if this is medical neglect or not?

Hi. I am battling with fibroids too. I found out taking seven seas oil reduces blood cloth and heavy bleeding. For those who are unsure about blackstrap molasses. They increase your energy level because of the sugar content and they are also good as a source of iron. I felt better after taking blackstrap molasses in terms of energy levels, I still take it now and again.

In my own research for this problem or cysts I have used ACV now as a regular part of my life. (btw put it straight on a bu bite and itch/swelling gone w/in minutes). Aloe Vera Juice is also a regular in my regimin. People, just add a few drops of stevia to either for better taste or a juice like Cran/Rasberry something non citrus.

I have read that Myrrh has been used for years with female issues successfully and helps colds etc. Just google 'Myrrh fibroids'. I also read many testamonies about a product online Fibrovan which the main ingredient is Nannokinasse (great for the heart too).

Biggest issue with Fibroids is associated with Stress, Fear, Unforgiveness. I'm a Chiristian so I use the Bible and prayer for the above. My life recently had a series of stresses that I know are the root of my issue. We must deal with the root causes for complete healing. I read about a woman who fought w/ her ex constantly, then left for an extended vacation in another country (6 months I think), she went to the Dr and her Fibroids were gone, she returned to the USA and more fighting with her ex and the fibroids returned.

I learned about Myrrh benefits and others at www.herballegacy.com Yellow Dock is also beneficial according to Dr Christopher's experience. Just do a search there for Fibroid. Cleanse your body and start with your colon first since everything is eliminated through it. I've also read good things on using progesterone (look for pure as some creams have parabens) Eliminate all Paraben creams/cleansers from your life. (see dr john lee's books/website). There is another website that shares about cleansing the reproductive organs and has kits available at http://natural-fertility-info.com/ even if you are not trying to get pregnant they have great products to keep your organs healthy.

Hope this helps and blesses someone! Be Well!!

Hello Ed from South Africa,

I wanted to say to you that the soya could've have made the fibroids grow because soy has estrogenic properties and too much estrogen in the womans body can do all sorts of harm, including causing fibroids. I myself, recently had given up meat and only ate soy products. After a year of this diet, my menstrual was completely off and I have developed cysts. I am going to try this black strap molasses and see if it helps. Will keep everyone updated.

Margaret from Somewhere, Iowa, did you find out for sure whether your fibroid shrank, (with a scan)? That would be great if it did, and it would give me some hope at least!

I have a fibroid uterus, the size of a 10 week pregnancy. Most distressing is the large fibroid that's pressing on my bladder and causing all sorts of bladder and urethra pain/spasms.

I am desperate for a natural remedy as I don't want to have surgery, and have been painting iodine for the last week or so. I'm also drinking lemon water, and have just started molasses (2 teaspoons), each morning.

I've read a few posts that say painting iodine shouldn't help, as your body absorbs so little of the iodine with this method, and it's not worth doing. Is this true?

So far I haven't noticed any difference, but I know it's really early days. I expect it to take more than two weeks for me, as I just have so many fibroids and have had them for a long time.

Has anybody else had luck with iodine painting? Did it work, and how long did it take?

Hello, I'm doing practically the same thing than you with small variations; I got a fibroid of about 10cmx8cm. It's really big and scared me a lot. My doctor said that was the size of a newborn's head.

I have no kids and I'd really like to have at least one. I'm trying the natural option first if no signs of shrinking are showed I will go for the surgery.

I started with the ACV and BSM like 5 months ago, and I don't really know if my fibroid has shrunk but for sure my symptoms now are less notorious. My sexual life improved a lot, before was very painful and I didn't enjoy being with my husband because of the pain. Since I started with the treatment I have no more pain.

My belly was hard like a rock but now little by little you can notice how is getting softer and I can bottom my jeans without worrying about the pain.

I will have to visit my doctor to check how my fibroid is going, but I thing is too early to notice significant changes. I will continue with the treatment for another 2 months before going for a check out.

My treatment includes:

*ACV (morning), BSM (morning), TRIVINOL (has a complete supplement of enzymes, Amanu & Llanten (once a day), Magnesium (to eliminate the calcium in the fibroid), Vitamin E, ACV Tablets (afternoon), BSM Tablets (afternoon).

My fibroids are GONE! This is what I did. I bathed in filtered water which I sometimes added frankensence essence or chamomile. Go Berkey. (I avoided plastic bottles, telflon), gave up all dairy, I drank dandylion tea for awhile. I did the forum (emotional work), I drank chlorophyll, I did Vitex capsules and blackstrap mollasses for a month. Oh yeah. And I master cleanse for 18 days. I also visualized them shrinking and knew they were shrinking. I went to acupuncture 3 times. Ten months ago I had 3 tumors 50mm to 80 mm. My last sonogram was completely normal!!!

Hi I live in Pretoria South Africa and aged 46. Iam generally healthy though I have high blood pressure and medication daily. I started taking unfermented soya porridge every morning since january 2011. I went for my gyno examinations including pap smear in jan 2011 and all was clear. To my surprise, about 4 months ago I started getting urinary tract infections that would not respond to 3 types of medication. My periods became painful and I would feel a lot of pressure and discomfort in my pelvic area. I would keep running to the toilet.

I went to see my doctor 3 weeks ago and he said I had 3 fibroids 3cmx4cm and 4cmx3cm.

1. My question is this the cause of the pain I feel?? Is the size of the fibroids too big??

2. I have read that Blackstrap Molasses helps. I have gone to health shops and all I see is nature's choice sweet mollasses de-sulphured , and nature's choice bsm, I have asked the shop owner if the BSM is desulphured and he doesn't know!!!!!!!! What brand is desulphured as I am allergic to sulphur?

3. Could the soya have made the fibroids grow??

4. I really like it as my breakfast cereal- can I ferment the flour myself??

Blessings to you all.

I have a question. I have started taking ACV for my fibroids. I read here that it should be mixed w/ BS. But vinegar and baking soda= Sodium acetat (salt) co2 water.

Are u sure we should mix ACV w/ BS? Is it ok to take it on its own w/ water? Also I have low bone density. How can I address that? Is calcium bad for fibroids? Is coffee bad? I love coffee.

Thank u all . I love u guys. :)

Ok... I have never offered a testimonial before but here goes... 4 years ago I was diagnosed with fibroids (6 over 10 cm each). I had transfusions in hospital and was given progesterone. 2 years ago I went off of it and things were relatively normal until this month when my period was back to gushing and clotting. The doc phoned in a prescription for more tablets but I haven't made it to the pharmacy yet. Why? Because, as I am sure you are familiar with, the last two days have been period hell. The furthest I have gone is bathroom to bed.

Lying in bed at 4 am today I realized I was going to miss my usual Saturday women's group breakfast. I grabbed my iPad and found this site. Apple Cider Vinegar? Really? so I went out to the kitchen swallowed two huge tablespoons, choked back some nausea and hit the shower. I felt better than I had so I got dressed and headed to town... Half an hour away... Armed with supplies to make a quick change when I got there, but didn't need to. Sat for an hour and got up last making a mad dash to the restroom to stop the gushing. But, no gushing, hardly a trickle. Could it have worked so fast? Stopped by the market for a few things. The more I walked the better I felt. Bought ACV tabs. Drove the half hour back home... Went to the bathroom, no gushing or even bleeding. No pain. Not even that tired...... I can't believe this is happening but I am glad for it. Can't wait to update you all on the results of my next ultrasound. God bless you for this.

I am responding to the asthma comment. I am 47 and had asthma since I was 14. I stopped eating ALL gluten and my asthma symptoms drastically reduced in about 3 or 4 days. About 2 weeks on the gluten free diet no more inhalers or antihistamines. 8 months later, still gluten free, I no longer consider myself an asthmatic.

Debbie, I have read where the use of caffeine is contraindicated in the fibrous condition which you have, as it strongly agonizes the production of Fibrin.

Apple Cider Vinegar

I was diagnosed with a uterine fibroid the size of a plum about a month ago. I started with Blackstrap Molasses and Apple Cider Vinegar (2 tbsp twice a day) about 3 weeks ago. Plus, I included some herbs that are good for softening fibrous tissue and scar tissue (Arnica), Lugol's Iodine and Milk Thistle for my liver which is supposed to have been impacted somehow (not really surehow, just thought it would be good to add this). I also use Vitamin E, digestive enzymes (which is supposed to break up the tough fibrin outer layer of the fibroid). The Lugol's Iodine is supposed to be good for fibrocystic breast disease (of which I have been diagnosed and had 3 lumps removed over the years) and ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids as well.

I should mention that within a week after I started the ACV and BSM (I also used 1 tsp of baking soda with this which essentially detoxed the hell out of me! Did that the first week and then ran out of baking soda so I just continued with the ACV and BSM), then got my period. I was pleasantly surprised when my period came w/o the usual extremely tender breasts, pre-cramping and first two heavy days of bleeding. In fact, during the whole cycle, I probably used maybe 7 pads and 5 or 6 tampons, this includes nights which were more problematic and nerve-wracking. My energy level is up, and in a related development, my seasonal allergies are even gone! Amazing!

As you can see, I've been doing a lot and just a few days ago started having some steadily increasing spotting. It's not time for my period again yet so I don't think that's what's happening. I'm hoping that this is a result of the fibroid breaking up and coming out of me??? I don't know but I wanted to see if anyone else had similar experiences. I hope that some of you had success with your situations. I have an ultrasound scheduled for October 31 so I'm trying to hang in there until I get results. Hopefully they'll say the fibroid has either shrunk significantly or it's just gone. Praying for the latter! The last time I had a fibroid was 2 years ago and I had a Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), not a bad procedure, just don't want to have to do it again b/c it left me with medical bills even though I have insurance. I will post the results of my ultrasound in a couple weeks and hopefully good news too!

Ted's Remedies

Ted: I plan to try your recipe of 2 Tbsp ACV (Heinz) and 1/4 tbsp Baking soda in 1 cup of water to remove fibroids and excessive bleeding and clots formation and severe pain in periods. I have understood that it has to be taken 5 days a week with 2 days off.

But my query is :

a) Whether we have to take it 2 times or 3 times a day??

b) Whether it has to be taken 3 times a day during periods also or stop it at the time of periods? Once Periods are over, start it again??

Thanks.

I also have very painful menstruation with heavy bleeding turning into big clots n my cycle has increased from 3- 6 days and these days are nightmare of my life. Always have to take off from office for 3 days and take 6 fenac plus after 6-7 hours on diagonsis, got to know that I have a fibroid in uterus and multiple choclate cyst in ovaries.

Now I will also try 2 tbps Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/4 tbs Baking soda so that my menses pain also goes away and fibroids get disappears.

My query is do we have to take 7 days a week for full whole month??

Do we have to take during menstruation cycle or not??

For 2 tbps apple cider vinegar n 1/4 tbs baking soda in 1 glass of water or half glass of water???

Am glad to say that the ACV is helping me with my monthly PMS and period. For once in a long time I had pain-free period and hardly any PMS. I did not even realized I'm having my period until I went to the toilet. And guess what, I am also losing the extra fat around the abdomen that I had problem wearing my old pants - they are loose now. I will continue to take the ACV; hopefully it will help to shrink my fibroids. Will update again the result after my gynae appt in early Nov. Pray for me ya :)

Soya contains estrogens. Its not good for people with fibroids. Fermented soya (natto) on the other hand is better and can help with fibroids.

Castor Oil Packs

★★★☆☆

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences, I just want to add that, if you're going to use the castor oil pack, please, please DO NOT USE any cream on your body before you do so, I had used a progesterone cream earlier in the morning after my shower, and at night before I slept I used the castor oil pack for 30 minutes on my stomach as I was trying to shrink fibroids. Luckily I usually use it for 1hour, but only spent 30 minutes that day. Then I went to sleep when I woke up the next day having had another shower and about to towel my body, I noticed some severe black criss-crossing lines all along my stomach area where I had placed the oil pack, it had eaten deep into my skin, so I stopped using the castor oil pack altogether. It's 2 months since and only still beginning to fade.

I did Uterine Ablation last March in 2010 and now for the past couple of months have started bleeding again. I really don't think surgery is really necessary. Many natural remedies that we have around us work just as good. I started using ACV tablets in April and began to see a big improvement right away. Make sure that the tablets you purchase only have ACV some will have Soy in them which actually will feed your fibroid. So if you want to get rid of it stay away from Soy and Caffeine it has made a BIG improvement.

Hi Lady D -

I am now 50 with no signs of menopause. I have had fibroids and ovarian cysts (off and on, mostly on) for about 20 years. They are SO MUCH better now. I take ACV daily when I have my period, and just once in a while the rest of the month now.

(One oz ACV mixed with 1/2 tsp baking soda, when it stops bubbling add 14 oz water and 2 oz orange juice for taste killing properties. ;)

Taken during my period it about cuts my heavy (and I mean HEAVY) bleeding in HALF. I am not even kidding. If it is mind over matter, that is one hell of a suceptable mind I have. lol.

I am writing to say that if you seem to not tolerate the ACV - as not everyone does for some reason - I would suggest you start taking 1 tablespoon of (UNSULPHERED) Blackstrap Molassas every day. I take mine in my coffee. Since I started taking it daily I have backed off of the ACV daily - as it has made me feel darned, darned GOOD, and also seems to have taken away the heavy bleeding as well. It is full of minerals and it is amazing stuff. Lots to read about the benefits of BSM here on Earth Clinic and on the web re menstrual issues!

I buy mine on the baking isle at the grocery store. At first I wasn't terribly fond of the flavor, but now my coffee just wouldn't taste right without it!

Best wishes of good health to you - I feel for you. ~Carly

Apple Cider Vinegar, Blackstrap Molasses

After reading here about Black Strap Molasses - unsulfured and Apple Cider Vinegar - with the mother, I went out and got them both two years ago. I began by taking 1 tablespoon of each mixed together in the morning and once at night. I was shocked by how soon the month long bleeding stopped. I saw improvement the same day. I cut caffeine out of my diet and cow's milk as well.

Now, two years later, I'm not cured but I don't suffer at all like I use to. I just spent my period week on vacation with two trips to the beach like a normal person.

For maintenance, I only take the molasses and vinegar mixed on day one of my period in the morning and at night. The rest of the days are only once at night. My period lasts for about five days and I have a normal 23-28 day cycle.

My doctor told me at my last appointment with him that this was just a "witches brew" when I questioned him about molasses and ACV as a natural treatment. I was scheduled for surgery two weeks after that appointment. I went to Sprouts instead and started that same night. Needless to say, I cancelled that surgery and never saw that doctor again.

If this doesn't work for you, please make sure that you have the right ACV (with the mother! ) and the right BSM (unsulphered). Next, make sure you have made some changes in your diet like eliminating caffeine (25 mg of caffeine now will start my period in the middle of my cycle), limiting/eliminating diary (soy milk is what I drink now).

This is not a cure, but a treatment. It should be thought of no differently than if your doctor put you on a daily pill regime that came with a list of do's and don'ts. The good news is, unlike most medical solutions, this isn't a life-long regime. After menopause, fibroids diminish on their own so you can discontinue ACV/BSM at that time. This is the best $8 investment I could ever make. I just wish I had researched this before my first fibroid surgery that cost the insurance company over $6000 and me over $800 out of pocket.

I had an awful experience with endometreal ablasion and some of the risks include vaginal burns, bowel perferations, and uterine rupture. My proceedure was with Gynecare Thermachoice and it was as painful as childbirth. The machine malfunctioned and I have been left mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually traumatized! I am glad your experience was good and you have achieved relief, but I have no relief from baseball sized clots and changing pads every hour. I read the risks and thought- That won't happen to me... Well, I was wrong! Be very careful with your body- it's the only one you've got!
