I have been using APV and BSM for about 8 days to trat what I believe are large fibroids. I also have pain in my upper right abdominal quadrant that seems to be gas because i get relief from gas relieving meds.
Anyway, my skin feels great but I still feel not so great. Rashs, itching etc. leaves me to think I have yeast issues as well. Long story short I mistrust conventional medicine and pretty much self diagnose when possible. New symptom to report is white froth and what looks kind of like cream in my urine.
i am 49 yrs old and have peri menopause, last period lasted 3 weeks with heavy bleeding for at least a week. My symptoms are keeping me home bound and usually experiencing some varying form of pain and discomfort. I hope and pray i can improve my health somewhat with the natural tratments on this site. I took 2-3 tblsp.each of ACV and BSM , yesterday i added 1/4 tsp.baking soda and started doubling my ACV treatment, once in the morning, once in the evening. Let you know if anything seems to be working.

I am a 40 yr old woman recently diagnosed with multiple uterine fibroids and blocked fallopian tubes. I am curious to learn more about the use of BSM/ACV. I've read the reviews posted on this site but remain unclear about how to ingest the BSM/ACV. I am currently adding 2 tablespoons of BSM and 2 tablespoons of ACV in 8 oz warm water twice daily. Is this adequate or should I be ingesting these first and following with water? Any suggestions? Thank you.

I have been diagnosed with the 5 inch fibroids and blocked fallopian tubes too. I am very depressed about. I am scheduled to go back to the Dr. on December 22. The Dr. want to a partial Hysterectomy. I don't want to have it done. I have not been able to have any children. My husband and I. I have started taken the ACV this week. I feel better and I am not in as much pain. One my friends told me to take evening primrose oil from the health food store. I am praying the Fibriods will go away without having the surgery.

Gee, Praying's good but do something actively as well about it. Like take charge of your health. Start juicing, check your diet, get maca (read about it in my past posts or research it online). ACV and Evening Primrose oil are not going to cut the mustard in this situation. Doing something actively to help yourself will alleviate depression too. Don't just accept the dr.'s diagnosis as final and let them cut part of you out because then you absolutely won't have children or have the chance. First, try alternative healing before you go that route. Lisa

Hi Gee, I want to apologize if I sounded like I was being self-righteous or preachy to you. I wanted to just reassure you that there are many alternative routes and not to get down believing that the doctors have all the answers. No, I am no expert, but I have spent a lot of hours and years studying alternatives in many aspects from birthing, schooling, natural remedies, herbal and homeopathic remedies so, I figure if I can help someone else out there with what I have learned, I will do that. Knowledge is a powerful tool.
And yes, there are alternatives to having your own children such as adopting or surrogate mothers, etc., but that was not what I got from your post. Sorry if I misread what you were sad about. In naming some actions you could take, I was not trying to be forceful but just giving you a few suggestions you could pursue.
I also have seen my acupuncturist turn things around for women who were diagnosed by Western drs. that they would not be able to conceive. Of course, these are all just suggestions. In the end we all have our own right to choice. Peace, Lisa

DON'T be depressed!! DON'T have the hysterectomy surgery, AND I wouldn't go back to that ob/gyn either, myself (up to you though...).
Progesterone cream will sometimes shrink fibroids, and I just read an research report somewhere that indicated that concentrated tomato products, such as tomato powder and tomato paste may be helpful for such things.
DON'T GIVE UP!!!

I was just reading some of the other postings, especially the one for Gee. Im not a doctor but I do recommend getting 2nd and 3rd opinions especially before undergoing a hysterectomy or partial hysterectomy. These are all very personal decisions that we have to make and that even our closest loved ones cannot make for us. No-one should feel coerced into doing anything. Im very grateful that the ACV and black molasses (1-2x a day) have been working for me for the pain and symptoms. While everyone's body is different, and while I hope the remedy works in shrinking the fibroid, I also should share that I recently learned of laproscopy which is a less invasive way of removing fibroids. This may be in some cases be an alternative method of surgery instead of a hysterectomy for those of us that hope to have children one day. I spoke with my doctor here in NYC who is supposed to be the top doctor for this and feel much more at ease as he was my second opinion and the first doctor was very insensitive and didnt mention this option. While I wish they were, natural remedies are not always an alternative to surgery but they can certainly help relieve a lot of unnecessary pain and help the healing process if one does opt for surgery. Thank you all for posting on this site and for supporting each other.

I am following my mothers "wise women syndrome" (menopause) history and don't want to any more. Period stopped for 9 months, started for 2 weeks, stopped for 7 months and is still continuing after 5 weeks. Clots, heavy flow, embarassing moments the lot. I am of average height, weight and exercise x5 days a week, for at least 1hr 30mins each time, eat wholesome (no processed foods) mainly fruit, vegies and meat.
I wish to cease the blood flow and move onto my "wise women syndrome" sooner. I am unable to take AVC because of my very low blood pressure (I have tried and got incredible dizzy bordering on fainting.
I am considering taking Black Strap Molasses ... any advice on how much, how often and what else is out there that could help. Cheers in advance.

Do you think I can try ACV, BSM and baking soda to shrink to fibroid to enable ivf possible? What are the complications with my case? Please give your comments it will help my decision I don't have a child but the Dr. told me I can have one through ivf but the problem is the fibroid.

Our bodies need to be alkaline, sick people are usually acidic, buy some PH strips that determine the acidity of our bodies, tear a piece and place in mouth one second, if it is yellow, not good, if it is dark blue, that's good, apple cider vinegar is highly acidic so someone tell me why it is good for us as I use it a lot. Honey good for us? It is acidic, baking soda is highly alkaline, I put 1/2 teaspoon in my drinking water and a couple drops of h202, that is good for us, walnuts will turn the strip dark blue, thats good, when watching TV, munch on english walnuts, that's good, when you get your little roll of PH strips, everytime you eat something, tear off a strip , insert into mouth and if it is yellow , again not good, dark blue, thats good, I love a baked cake, its acidic, not good, but I love them, I tell my wife not to bake those acidic cakes but she does, wonder if she has ulterior (motives)?

I have read your site about black strap molasses and "hoping" to get rid of fibroid tumors. I have tryed it and it didn't work for me. I think this site is just a way of getting people's hope up. I had my hope up on trying this molasses thing, like i said it didn't work for me. nothing can get rid of fibroids. if there was, the doctors would tell you, and we would't have to have a hysteromecty's. think about it...it's something that grows inside of you..if there was a cure in molasses wouldn't they tell you?? I really don't believe in this stuff. I have tryed it and i can't speak for everyone...but it didn't work for me. Were all here for a little hope and cure, but really it doesn't work.the only thing i did was to cut out coffee, something i found out on my own..as far as im concerned, that helped me alot!! no more heavy periods. now there normal and i have 2 fibroid tumors and they were almost the size of a baseball. i'm not sure if they are gone yet, i still have to go to the doctors to find out, but my period is back to normal. thank you..

Please be careful of that drug that puts you in clinical menapause. If it is lupron. I took the lupron shots for 6 months before having the fibroids removed. They did not shrink the fibroids but they did make my bones frail. Lupron also affected my memory. I never experienced the forgetfullness I have now. Sometimes I just completely draw a blank and cannot remember my thoughts AT ALL. Thanks to the lupron shots. If I had it all to do over again... I would do nothing. My sister also had fibroids. She did not know it. She got pregnant. Because of the fibroids she could not have a vaginal birth. She had a C section. The doctor removed the fibroids after he took the baby out.

Hello Ladies, I'm now 54 and 4 years ago began menopause, not one period since then. Yeah!!! I used to have problems with fibroids and still have the fibroids but no problems unless I dont listen to my own adivce. I wanted to share what was reccommended to me by a holistic Dr..... Change your diet!!! Chicken, meat and eggs are coming from animals injected with hormones and these same hormones are feeding your fibroids and helping them grow. Have you seen how big chicken wings are now days!!!! Hormones! When I used to have myperiod I had huge clots ( like liver and onions) but when I changed my diet , it all got much better, no clots, no cramps and I felt much better. I still love chicken but now I buy it from Whole Foods and buy cage free eggs , the extra money is worth the freedom to be able to eat and be pain free. Ive shared this info with some friends and it has helped and I hope it helps someone out ther too. I chose this option because I dont want to have a hysterectomy. God Bless us all, we go through so much at least give us our chicken!!!

I'm 36 yars old, I just left my OB GYN, I had myomectomy 5 years ago thinking i would have kids within 3 years after the surgery as my Doctor suggested, even though I was not married yet and had no prospects...well here i am five years later in the same social staus with my uterus the size of a 5 month fetus. I had also taken a low dose bc that caused clots the size of my fist and drained me physically and emotionally. My doc suggested I would probably need another surgery but this would reduce my chances of being able to carry a child. Ive cried for the last 2 hours until i read your blogs...thank you ladies! i'm running to the health food store now and with a little prayer, faith, and acv and bsm I will be healed from these tumors!

My uterine fibroid is now 13cm. No diet change, organic food, detox, enzymes pills, TCM per se helped. Last week, I started myself with qi gong and reflexology to tackle stagnation of chi in uterus. I'll allow myself 3 months to gauge results. Hope when I next write in, I'd report good results... BTW, I love this great site for sharing so generously! I am also drinking ACV regularly, and BSM helped with my monthly pain. Thank you so much!

Been 4 months since I've tried qi gong (on and off basis due to hectic work schedule). I find it is helpful in minimizing monthly pain. Had I been more consistent, I believe the improvement would be very much more better. As long as there is very little discomfort each month, I do not care very much if the fibroid is still there. The bulge in my tummy is not really apparent.

Hey there,
Glad to hear all this. I am 29, getting married next month and just recently diagnosed with a 5cm fibroid. I had no heavy periods over the years but just started having major cramps on my right side which took me to the doctor, had an ultra scan done, found out that there was a little cyst on my right ovary and this fibroid. Please, what specific fruits and veggies should I be eating?

Hi,
My concern right now is am in the process of IVF.... Since doctor had prescribed estrogen pills for this cycle... They have scanned today a fibroid in my uterus muscle... he says its not so big but I want to take care of it naturally if there is a way.
My question is Can I take blackstrap molasses when my embryo is getting implanted and when I get pregnant to cure this fibroid. Can I take apple cider vinegar everyday twice... IF so what would the dosage be.... Past period was really really painful like hell I didnt want to take painkillers as it would only harm my body.... Am getting totally stressed with this issue...... I really want some natural cure.... Thats why I was browsing and came across this wonderful thread.... If I can take all this alongside my pregnancy it woud be really great but am not sure..... Pls advise..... as I dnnow if my Doctor can answer this qs.
thanks ladies, Sona

I took BSM during pregnancies with no ill effects. 1 tblsp a day in hot water with ACV, the advice is to start with a tiny dosage. Maybe 1/2 tsp. Or less, once a day, and after a few days, twice a day. but I am wary of going over that amount even not during pregnancy.

Hi Simi, I don't like to say what you can take when you are pregnant because it is a very unknown area for most things, but black strap molasses and apple cider vinegar are both kitchen remedies and I would suggest using them lightly, maybe a teaspoon of BSM a day and a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in water per day. That would be keeping well within what could possibly be in a recipe for cake for example and you would be able to eat cake. (I wouldn't haha! ) Hope this makes sense. Cheers and good luck, Lily.

I passed out and hit my head on the bed, because I lost so much blood. I went to the hospital in an ambulance. My doctor did a new procedure and a DNC. There was a girl there who was 16 years old who had her fibroids removed, how is this possible? I was so scared, but I came through, by the grace of God. I tried all of it and it didn't work.

If like YEA has shares in BSM as she seems to be the only one saying how good it is. I have used it and it doesn't work, it's like eating sugar. I would really appreciate it if anyone had some genuine remedies as I am also suffering. I have had embolisation but this was unnsuccesful.

Hi. I am battling with fibroids too. I found out taking seven seas oil reduces blood cloth and heavy bleeding. For those who are unsure about blackstrap molasses. They increase your energy level because of the sugar content and they are also good as a source of iron. I felt better after taking blackstrap molasses in terms of energy levels, I still take it now and again.

I have huge fibroids, I'm now taking MILK THISTLE, and it seems to be helping my liver detoxify my system.
I've heard that for bleeding you can use CINNAMON. It goes take 1 teaspoon when it occurs, then wait a half and hour (30 min), then if not stopped take more. I have not tried it (luckily, my fibroids do not bleed) but it might help others.
NOTE: Dosage maybe 1 tablespoon but I'm not sure. (the lady I talked with was not too clear.) So to be safe take lower dose.
I've been reading and it said that estrogen was linked with copper. So the more estrogen you have in your system the more copper and the less zinc. the more copper the less the liver can work to detoxify the copper and the estrogen out of system. Too much copper gives you fatigue and like aluminum is support to build up in the brain giving you a sluggish brain.
The girl who was on birth-control pills is probably putting more estrogen in her system than she needs. Also she should stop eating liver or any organ meat as it has a lot of copper in it. I've heard that women need magnesium and zinc to stop the fibroid from growing. BSM has trace elements of zinc and it certainly has a lot of magnesium. The potassoum and calcium cannot hurt either.

Hi. This is Carol. I posted just recently on 11/02/09 about my situation. To sum up, I have a huge uterine fibroid (9.4 cm in diameter, large grapefruit) and ever increasing terrible premenstrual and menstrual cycles with long periods, blood clotting, cramping, and very sore breasts--all of which make my life very difficult for that time of the month every month..... Well, although it is early in my protocol/changes and I have not done everything I plan to do (only things so far I have done are BSM, ACV, and Maca daily), I want to report the following improvements already: My period in the past years has alway been preceded by very sore/tender/heavy breasts lasting for anywhere from 3-8 days before my period starts. However, this month, my period started today and my breasts are not and have not been the least bit sore/heavy/or tender. They feel perfectly normal. That alone is great. Also, my period started a few hours ago. Usually I would have cramping for several hours before the period started, but this time I just got some very light cramping after the period started....So anyway, I am already starting to see some improvements, which I correlate with the Unsulphured Black Strap Molasses and the Apple Cider--and possibly the Maca (herb to balance hormones)--as those are the only changes I have made so far. Well anyway, I will post again with an update as this hopefully continues to work. My overall plan is to deal with symptom control with BSM and ACV, but to also aid in shrinking the fibroid use enzymes and Nattokinase, while to balance hormones use Indole-3Carbinol and Maca. Thanks for this great site that has given me hope!

Hi Carol - I too have fibroids and cysts, along with the horrible bleeding and cramping. The acv works miracles for heavy bleeding. When I have my period I drink it all day long.
One thing to research - look up "DIM" (it stands for a very long word that I can't type) on the internet...(go to a reseach site, not a site trying to sell you DIM!) DIM is amazing. I have been taking one capsule every night for over 6 months now - and will not go without it again. DIM converts bad estrogens (there are three types) into good estrogens. Too hard for me to explain - but well worth learning about if you have the time to search it!
Best to you - hang in there!
EC: DIM is an acronym for 3,3'-Diindolylmethane
"3,3'-Diindolylmethane or DIM is an anticarcinogen compound derived from the digestion of indole-3-carbinol, found in Brassica vegetables such as broccoli and cauliflower.[citation needed] The reputation of Brassica vegetables as medicinal plants rests in part on the activities of diindolylmethane."

Hi. This is Carol from Weston. I posted a few weeks ago. In a nutshell, I have a large (grapefruit size) uterine fibroid with heavy prolonged bleeding (lasts about 2 weeks each month), terrible cramps for the first week, and tremendous blood clotting with the periods.... About 3 weeks ago, I started taking BSM, ACV and a variety of enzymes to help shrink the fibroid and reduct these symptoms. I am currently having my monthly period. Last month (before the protocol) I bled for 15 days. This month I am on Day 14 and still bleeding. The level of bleeding and clotting and length of period has not improved so far, as compared to the previous menstrual cycle. The bloating was just as bad as well--even worse maybe. However, on the positive side, my cramps were much lighter, I did not have to take nearly as much pain killers for cramps, and my breasts were not tender this cycle. So anyway, I am going to continue this protocol for another month or two and if I haven't had some more notable symptom improvement, I think I am going to go for the myomectomy or at least another measurement of the fibroid to see if the size has changed.

I was just confirm as having fibroid at age 39, and hoping to have a child. I am praying that that is still possible. What I have found out is that my period discomfort comes based on the diet I have before the cycle begins.
I only eat fish for about three years and my breast and period was doing fine. Now I am eating red meat and drinking milk and my breast is tender, my back ache and my belly tender.
I realized that when I drink the beetroot, carrot and ginger, I do quite well and dont have to take any pain killer. I remember 2 doc telling me to do what works well with my body and now I tend to agree and will defineately taking that root.
I just lean about the molasses and apple cider vineager and will be trying these, both where alreading in my kitchen cabinet. I have tried the combination last night......I slept well. A problem I was having.
I am thankful I live on a tropical island, so fresh fruits and vegetable are easily assessible. I am now going back to nature. I have a vegetable garden that I will certainly be using. I will keep you ladies posted on my progress. Let reclaim our health for 2010.

I think you may be on to something important about red meat! I normally don't have painful breasts but over the holidays but I ate red meat at a friend's house for dinner (I never eat red meat, but it's what they served) and the next morning I woke up with very sore breast and sharp shooting pains near my armpits. Hello Ladies, I agree that Red Meat may be a culprit, because while I have been diagnosed with one 7 cm fibroid, and two 2 cm fibroids, I do not suffer with cramps like everyone else complains of. When I was younger, perhaps I did have a lot of cramps, but I haven't in years because, I usually don't eat dairy (except of chocolate more often then I would like), and I don't eat red meat. I also try to eat a mostly organic diet, as well. God Bless you all. "China"

The Blackstrap Molasses and Cider did slow/stop the bleeding for a day or two, but it would return there after. I tried Saw Palmetto 2 times/day followed by the BSM and Cider and the bleeding has stopped, but reoccurred. The latter method is causing my cycle to become more "normal". The fibroid has shrunk, and the 'jury is still out' as a cure. So far, I'm more satisfied.

my name is ruth,I used flax seed to cure my fibroid tumors. I would grind them in my coffee grinder . Then I would use about 2tsp a day and sprinkle them over my salad . I found it easier to eat them that way . I also would make flaxseed bread I would use about a 1/2 cup in my loaf of bread . It is very important to grind the flaxseed up to get the benfit of the seeds. Other wise the seeds will just pass right threw you . I did this for about a year and when I went back and had my ultra sound they were gone . I also had a tumor in my breast . I was benine but that also disappeared as well . I never tryed the BSM because I never heard about it working on tumors until now. I end up have a historectomy because my uterus fell . but I still take it so I don't get any tumors in my breast.

Hi There, I am at a loss and just wondered if any of your readers out there has any suggestions for me. On Feb 10/08 my Period started, it usually last for 5 days. On the 6th day, I started bleeding heavily, worse than I have ever bled in the entire history of my period. In addition I started passing gigantic clots. An ultrasound diagnosed a persistet subserol uterine fibroid. I was prescribed Tri-Cyclen Lo (Birth Control Pills) to manage the bleeding. I had side effects from the pills, nauseau, vomitting, headaches. The symptoms are not too bad now but I am still bleeding. Sometimes it gets light as if it's going to stop and then it comes back full force. From time to time, I still pass clots but they are now very small. I read the comments and bought Organic Unsulphured Black Strap Molasses - I started with 1 tblsp in a glass of water each day and increased it to 1 tblsp in a glass of water twice a day when I noticed there was no change with the bleeding. I also bought _____ ACV and have been taking 2 tblsp in a glass of water with 1 tblsp buckwheat unpasteurised honey once per day. Today is March 06/08 and the bleeding increased even more today. I am at the point where I am going to discontinue the BSM and start taking liquid Iron. Are there any suggestions? Did I try the BSM long enough? I have been taking it since Feb 20/08. I am afraid to leave the house because of the excessive bleeding. My gyno wants me to take the Birth Control Pills back to back (menstrual suppression). I don't like them and want to stop taking them - she says they take a while to stop the bleeding. She is also recommending a hysterescopy.

Janet, over 10 years ago I was diagnosed with fibroids and told that eventually I'd have to have a hysterectomy. I refused then and every dr I went to over the years. They got larger and larger till finally I found myself fainting and being taken from work in an ambulance twice. My iron fell so low that I needed 3 blood transfusions in one night before I agreed to consider surgery, but I still refused a hysterectomy. My new Gyn told me about a fertility dr that does not accept insurance and I consulted with him, who said that he could remove the tumor without a hysterectomy. I told my insurance company, who then reimbursed me for that visit and found a Reproductive Endocrinologist that gave me an injection of Lupron to stop the bleeding, then a quick, sometimes outpatient surgery called a Myomaectomy (?). My total out of pocket cost was under $500. That was 3/31/03 and I haven't had a cramp or a period last more than 2 days since! I haven't been doubled over in pain ONCE since then! I feel like I was reborn that day. You should consider it.

This is to Janet from Canada. You mentioned you are taking Ortho Lo, I was on that! You may want to do further research because I have found that Estrogen FEEDS fibroids. It will make you bleed more and that is why nothing seems to be working. And if you drink cow's milk/cheese etc. that is even more Estrogen, depending on where it comes from since you live in Canada. Try to avoid all fried and processed foods as well. I hope you read this before surgery!

My heavy bleeding and clotting is now under control. I am taking Yarrow to dissolve the fibroids, Maca root (is non-estrogen) to balance my hormones naturally and not feed the fibroids. I also take three teaspoon fulls of black strap molasses a day. I tried taking Apple Cider Vinager too but it was flushing out everything else I was using and my negative symptoms came back. Keeping some Shepard's Purse around for acute bleeding works. I add drops of it to a glass of water and it works within 15 mintes to stop the heavy bleeding. I haven't had to use now that things seem to be under control. I cut out the Apple Cider Vinager and now the bleeding is under control. It is a shame It can't use the Apple Cider vinager. It does help keep weight off. Maybe, after I go through the change someday, I can use the ACV.

I just bought a great book for women with Fibroids. I was written by a doctor who has fibroids. It is called FIBROIDS-The compltet Guide To Taking Charge Of Your Physical, Emotional, and Sexual Well Being. Author:Johanna Skilling.
In this book they DO have a list of herbs known to help Fiorbroids and a list of some women with fibroids should NOT take: Blue and Black Cohosh, Chaste tree (Vitex), Dong Quai (also called Angelica or Dang gui), Licorice (the herb not the candy) and Mother Wart are no-no's for firoids. These herbs can make bleeding worse if you have fibroids and/or cause the uterine cells to divide (creating more fibroids) and can cause high blood pressure if taken for long periods of time.
The GOOD NEWS is there are herbs that this medical doctor and others have researched and have been found to work well for women with firoids"Beth Root (for bleeding control), Black Haw (to detoxify) Cinnamon (for bleeding) Cramp Bark (for cramping and bleeding control), Dandelion (to detoxify), False Unicorn Root (for bleeding control), Garlic (to shrink fibroids), Ginger-Hops-Partridgeberry-Raspberry leaves ( for cramping control), Shepard's Purse-Wild Yam-Partridgeberry-Nettle-Lady's mantle (control bleeding) and YARROW herb shrinks fibroids-controls cramps AND controls bleeding! This list doesn't have EVERY possible herb for every symptom but reflects information from several sources, including NATURAL HEALING IN GYNECOLOGY by Rina Nissim; THE COMPLETE WOMAN'S HERBAL by Anne McIntyre and the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF HEALING THERAPIES by Anne Woodham and Dr. David Peters. REMEMBER some plants (like ones I just listed not to take)have an effect like estrogen, others mimic progesterone-Fibroids get bigger and bled more as a result of either estrogen or progesterone, so be prepared to watch your symptoms. Some SAFE herbs for women with fibroids are listed above.

I am trying to have another baby, and after finding the website I decided to try the molasses to see if it will shrink the one very large fibroid that I have. I have been taking one teaspoon for about a week now, and I notice at night I have been having cramps not sure if its because the tumor is contracting or what. Any advice would greatly help. Thanks!

No they aren't. You mentioned sulphur being an anti coagulant. Everybody here is talking about unsulphured Black Strap Molasses so there is no sulphur. It is mentioned over and over again. Sugar is supposed to be bad for fibroids so that is probably why they don't use the regular one. I think the BSM is more nutrient dense.

This is a follow-up to my 8/26/2007: "Blackstrap Molasses and Apple Cide Vinegar message. I.m still taking ACV 2 tablespoons twice a day and 2 tablespoons Plantation Organic Blackstrap Molasses twice a day (morning and bedtime). I stop putting the baking soda in the ACV, because of various posting on this site, some say it's okay and others say it's not good for your body. I ate of lot of cheese over the Thanksgiving holiday and that was a mistake. In 8/2007 I had stop eating cheese but fell to temptation, I believe it's true that dairy and firboids don't go together. I still have two very heavy days, then will almost stop, cramps are down to one day usually at the end of the cycle. However then I may spot for another week to ten days Recent blood test indicated anemia, doctor recommended taking one prenatal vitamin and eating liver 2 or 3 times a week. I will admit I'm a little skeptical about eating that much liver because it contains a high amount of cholesterol. However I have eaten it probably 5 times in the last two weeks. I've been taking the vitamins for about two weeks and I will say this month has been the best yet. I still don't plan to have surgery and I feel good. Molasses is a big help in resolving the issues of constipation.

Dear YS, I wanted to ask if you knew what size your fibroids were?
I have one 11 cm as of today or at least a couple of months ago when I had a MRI done. I wanted to see when you went back to do a screening if the fibroids were gone from taking ACV and molasses? did it work for you or not? If so, can you tell me how much of it to take? Are your fibroids gone as of today and are you still taking the ACV and molasses. I am due for sugery mid Oct and scared to do it and wanted to get some real answers as to it is possible to get rid of fibroids naturally I have read over 10 books now and not one single mention about thsi ACV and molasses. All these books says to eat healthier take supplements and think happy thoughts and don't stress and don't eat these types of foods that has estrogen int them which fibroids feeds on ...but then I turn around and someone is saying to eat TOFU or take this and that and it just was opposite of another say so.
I am so tired and so confused for the past year of reading and trying different things where my body is probably freaking out because it has only been a year and can you imagine trying something new every other month...no wonder my fibroid is here...there not enough time to absorb and heal. Does this ACV and Molasses work is your fibroid gone? Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I wish I knew what I was suffering from for 10 years then I would have gone on herbs but I was past that as I was fainting from lack of blood from severe bleeding and my womb prolapsed with the fibroids. I thought I had a heart problem as the symtoms was high blood pressure. I am now well and living with my scars as I also had T/L. So it is healthy living and stress free life for me.

In response to Bonnie in Hamilton, Ontario, many have specified that the black strap molasses **must** be unsulfured for it to have effectiveness. Did you use unsulfured? I'm another victim with the same sad song for years, but I have high hopes and can't wait to try it. Hope it relieves my suffering also. Important Note to Everyone: If this is really working, please be careful about what you say to your medical professionals. We wouldn't want big brother to take it away from us (for instance, the way Lugol's was outlawed, which was used for years to treat our elders thyroid conditions, and other ailments). Fewer med appointments = less money made (less pharms and surgeries sold), could = no more BSM. Don't be foolish to think it can't or won't happen. God Bless to you all, and good luck to everyone in this endeavor.

I read on the internet somewhere where someone had linked a lot of issues like fibroids and heavy periods to Vit. K insufficiency as well as dark circles under the eyes and anemia. If I can relocate it, I will post the link.

This is one of the best of many links I have found about problems caused from a Vit. K deficiency. I suggest everyone read it (especially women.) Many people are deficient because of antibiotic use that destroys the flora in the intestines....which produce Vit. K for the body. Easy bruising, blue circles under the eyes, heavy periods, ovarian pain, etc.

I hope the vitamin K deficiency is not the issue because I'm on Coumadin which means that I have to limit or eliminate vitamin K from my diet because it interferes with the PTI in our results.

Does anyone know if they make ACV in a pill form? I am sure it would be missing something, but it would be better than not taking it at all! Thanks
EC: Yes, acv in pill form is available online and at health food stores. However, it's not nearly as effective as drinking acv!

After my third period using Terramin Clay and BSM I can confirm that the tumors are no longer present.
When I began the Terramin treatment I noticed an abscess on my left breast that drained for appox. 4 days (the scarring remains as proof this occurred). Since then I no longer experience phantom pains that I had from my left breast. As I continued my treatment I noticed that during the second of the three periods an abscess formed outside my vaginal area. This drained for appox. 4 days concurrent with my period.
After the second period I've begun to experience an increase in energy, weight loss has continued (the fibroids increased my weight and this is being automatically reduced),dark circles under my eyes are gone, and NO MORE tumors as of third period. Also, no acne.
Native Americans use[d] clay to remove tumors and I can confirm that it works. Also, using BSM regulates the period VERY well. I will now decrease my use of Terramin and increase the use of BSM to regulate my cycle.
This is a wonderful cure for tumors, both the BSM and Terramin have similar mineral components and you don't need surgery to be healed

Hello All...My cousin introduced me to this site and I read all the claims about BSM. I suffered from break through bleeding while on the PILL and in no time the bleeding was full blown. I was miserable and passed clots for two weeks straight. I had an ultra sound done and found out my fibroids came back. I went out and got the BSM and did the dosage recommended and in about a weeks time my cramps disappeared and I didn't feel like a whale. Thank you for these postings and insight on using something in our pantry.

I've been looking at websites trying to find something to shrink my fibroids, which are very large, making my womb the size of a 12 week pregnancy. After reading about blackstrap molasses I bought some a few weeks ago and started taking 2 tablespoonfuls each day.
My period is usually quite heavy. I use a mooncup (a silicone menstrual cup), so I can see how much blood I'm losing. Well, apparently women lose on average 35ml of blood each period, but for the first few days of my period that's what I usually lose in one day.
I'm now on my first period since starting the BSM, and it seems much lighter than usual. Today is day 1, and I have only lost about 15ml, much less than usual. So I believe that it is doing something! I don't know yet whether or not it will have any effect on my fibroids, but I'm going to carry on with it, and see what happens.
I have tried taking Apple Cider Vinegar too, but it gives me very bad heartburn (I know, ACV is supposed to cure heartburn, but I'm the other way round for some reason... Does anyone have any suggestions why this might be?).
I'm finding the posts on here fascinating, especially as so many people have had positive results. I really don't want to have a hysterectomy, as one doctor suggested, as I'm only 37. Thanks for all the information so far. I'll update with how I get on with the BSM.

Praise God I found this website and today June 25, 2007 I'm starting to take black strap molasses. I know this is going to work. I will keep you all updated. I'm also anemic from all of the bleeding. I gave up milk completely for 3 months and avoided dairy besides odd bit of organic cheese and plain yoghurt and it made absolutely no difference. I believe it has more to do with A. WHAT milk you consume, and B. your personal make up/dna..are you lactose tolerant and what's your blood type..the best is raw whole farm milk that goes for taste too.. if you want to blame your fibroids on toxins they're the ones created by MAN not nature

Try the ACV pills instead. I just started myself, so I don't know if they're as effective as the ACV, but I couldn't take drinking the ACV myself. I'm actually taking 2 ACV pills twice a day - for fibroids, fertility, & weight loss. ACV is also supposed to prevent GH outbreaks.

I was just about to seek medical help for fibroids when I read about the molasses treatment on Earth Clinic and tried it. The bleeding between periods has stopped and I am still taking the Molasses treatment and keeping my fingers crossed and praying for a total cure. I have always had a binge on ice cubes and was surprised to read that some women who have fibroids also have the ice cube habit. Is there a logical medical explanation for this?
Blackstrap Molasses
Posted by Winston (New York, Ny, Usa) on 08/07/2010
The cause of ice binging among women with fibroids is due to anemia. Anemia is caused from the blood loss induced by fibroids. If you have symptoms like weakness, fatigue, paleness, ice binging, shortness of breath or slight burning in the chest upon exertion, etc. Then you must see your doctor for a bloodtest. They can prescribe a high-iron supplement. Be sure to get the right kind as not all iron is equally bio-available. The way iron is prescribed can also be confusing: e. G. 200 mg of Ferrous Sulfate = 65 mg of elemental iron. Be sure you know what your doctor means with the amounts and types they prescribe. A good pharmacist can also help you decipher your doctor's intention.
