Apple Cider Vinegar, Blackstrap Molasses
Posted by Maria (Baltimore, Md, Usa) on 02/13/2012

Hello, I am a 45-year old South Asian woman (not Oriental) who has been on orthotricyclen for fifteen years. Within the last two years my fibroids grew and now they are the size of a 5-month pregnancy. My symptoms are: I get full relatively fast when I eat; have to pee once an hour; and one heavy day in my 4-day period; and slight bulge in my profile. My OB suggested a hysterectomy. I was about to do it and then saw the rate of prolapse post-hysterectomy and that horrified me. That was when I began to look for other ways to lose the fibroids.

On your website I saw the hundreds of testimonials about ACV and BSM and beets so I tried it four days ago (for four days) and I bled yesterday - a full week before my regular period. Mind you, I've been like clockwork for 15 years on the pill. I'm still on the pill and cannot believe I am bleeding (unsulfured BSM). But for some reason the bleeding did not annoy me: instead I was elated, and I felt as if a curse had been lifted after 15 years. I bled about an hour, just a little; then today again I am bleeding a bit. It's not blood blood, but still blood, if you know what I mean.

So obviously this means that my homeopathic experiment can absolutely bust through the synthetic hormones that I am getting through the pill. Now I've noticed on this website that a lot of women who are NOT on the pill are controlling and even shrinking their fibroids through BSM and ACV. My question is, what do I do now? I know that estrogen feeds fibroids but I also see that almost no doctor will say that the pill feeds the fibroids (as you know the pill is a mix of estrogen and progesterone in varying ratios). But I'm starting to think that the fibroids are indeed being fed by my pill; and that they are growing bigger now because I am making less progesterone (as I age and get closer to menopause). I am thinking of going off the pill by first going on a lower dose pill (currently on 35 mcg) and then weaning off that, while doing the BSM and ACV the entire time. I will tell my OB but she's going to freak out, I know it. Especially when I tell her about the BSM and ACV.

Any suggestions?? Anyone know what will happen once I stop the pill? Will the fibroids get really big if I stop the pill?

Blackstrap Molasses
Posted by Ed (Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa) on 11/09/2011

Hi I live in Pretoria South Africa and aged 46. Iam generally healthy though I have high blood pressure and medication daily. I started taking unfermented soya porridge every morning since january 2011. I went for my gyno examinations including pap smear in jan 2011 and all was clear. To my surprise, about 4 months ago I started getting urinary tract infections that would not respond to 3 types of medication. My periods became painful and I would feel a lot of pressure and discomfort in my pelvic area. I would keep running to the toilet.

I went to see my doctor 3 weeks ago and he said I had 3 fibroids 3cmx4cm and 4cmx3cm.

1. My question is this the cause of the pain I feel?? Is the size of the fibroids too big??

2. I have read that Blackstrap Molasses helps. I have gone to health shops and all I see is nature's choice sweet mollasses de-sulphured , and nature's choice bsm, I have asked the shop owner if the BSM is desulphured and he doesn't know!!!!!!!! What brand is desulphured as I am allergic to sulphur?

3. Could the soya have made the fibroids grow??

4. I really like it as my breakfast cereal- can I ferment the flour myself??

Blessings to you all.

Hello Ed from South Africa,

I wanted to say to you that the soya could've have made the fibroids grow because soy has estrogenic properties and too much estrogen in the womans body can do all sorts of harm, including causing fibroids. I myself, recently had given up meat and only ate soy products. After a year of this diet, my menstrual was completely off and I have developed cysts. I am going to try this black strap molasses and see if it helps. Will keep everyone updated.

Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda
Posted by Vivianne (San Diego, Ca) on 10/25/2011

I have a question. I have started taking ACV for my fibroids. I read here that it should be mixed w/ BS. But vinegar and baking soda= Sodium acetat (salt) co2 water.

Are u sure we should mix ACV w/ BS? Is it ok to take it on its own w/ water? Also I have low bone density. How can I address that? Is calcium bad for fibroids? Is coffee bad? I love coffee.

Thank u all . I love u guys. :)

Ted: I plan to try your recipe of 2 Tbsp ACV (Heinz) and 1/4 tbsp Baking soda in 1 cup of water to remove fibroids and excessive bleeding and clots formation and severe pain in periods. I have understood that it has to be taken 5 days a week with 2 days off.

But my query is :

a) Whether we have to take it 2 times or 3 times a day??

b) Whether it has to be taken 3 times a day during periods also or stop it at the time of periods? Once Periods are over, start it again??

Thanks.

Hi Lady D -

I am now 50 with no signs of menopause. I have had fibroids and ovarian cysts (off and on, mostly on) for about 20 years. They are SO MUCH better now. I take ACV daily when I have my period, and just once in a while the rest of the month now.

(One oz ACV mixed with 1/2 tsp baking soda, when it stops bubbling add 14 oz water and 2 oz orange juice for taste killing properties. ;)

Taken during my period it about cuts my heavy (and I mean HEAVY) bleeding in HALF. I am not even kidding. If it is mind over matter, that is one hell of a suceptable mind I have. lol.

I am writing to say that if you seem to not tolerate the ACV - as not everyone does for some reason - I would suggest you start taking 1 tablespoon of (UNSULPHERED) Blackstrap Molassas every day. I take mine in my coffee. Since I started taking it daily I have backed off of the ACV daily - as it has made me feel darned, darned GOOD, and also seems to have taken away the heavy bleeding as well. It is full of minerals and it is amazing stuff. Lots to read about the benefits of BSM here on Earth Clinic and on the web re menstrual issues!

I buy mine on the baking isle at the grocery store. At first I wasn't terribly fond of the flavor, but now my coffee just wouldn't taste right without it!

Best wishes of good health to you - I feel for you. ~Carly

Hi, What was the outcome of your doctor's visit? Did your fibroid shrink? Was it actually gone? I have two large fibroids and surgery has been recommended. I'm willing to do natural remedies and change my diet first.

Therefore, I'm interested in any feedback regarding shrinking fibroids. Thanks in advance, Tameka

Hi Penny, not sure if you're still looking for the Black strap Molasses in KL, but if you are then you might want to check out Vitacare Farmasi in Midvalley Mega mall (lower ground floor, opposite Tino's restaurant). I recently purchased mine from there, although in powder form mixed with Ginger, by the brand Earth Organic and it seems quite effective. I have been taking that in conjunction with eating raw garlic (2 cloves a day), drinking Green tea (once everyday), and eating loads of raw red & yellow peppers (daily) with a glass of lemon infused water. I really hope this helps you.

Best wishes to you & God Bless :)

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis/Adenomyosis along with a 6cm fibroid in the right side of my uterus a week ago. I started to have extreme bleeding (blood clots) last year and feel I wwaited longer than I should have to get it checked out, but I have no medical insurance, so things can become expensive for me very quickly. My Dr. recommended a hysterectomy but I am 34 and may want to have children, so I started the molasses Monday evening (the 21st). I am scheduled for surgery in one month to have the fibroid cut out, along with some of the Adenomyosis, but I want to avoid this if I can, so I'm trying to shrink them naturally.

I will update everyone in a few days. (Those of you who have yet to post, it's VITAL that you report back to let others know what is working and nor working for you!).

I had fibroids in my boobs for years and I took evening primrose oil for 1 month and they are still not back and that was 3 and 1/2 yrs ago. I decided to try to continue to take it and didnt like the thinness that it did to my skin. It worked and my doctor told me to take it even tho I already was. I had been on it for 1 month when she said I should get my yearly mommogram and assumed I would have fibroids as I had for almost 30 yrs, and none were to be found. I also have some on my uteris but they are still there. I dont need surgery for them and hope I never do.

Greetings everyone, Read all the wonderful testimonies and support the fact that ACV and BS ease the pain. However, I have not (unless I missed that) read any testimonies of the Fibroids DISAppearing completely... I am 49, and now my doctor want to perform a hysterectomy... I dont eat meat, eat lots of veggies, and recently started drinking alkaline water (VERY expensive), etc... Thanks and Blessing to all.

To Janice from Apex: Never drink from aluminum containers or use aluminum cooking pots. There is evidence aluminum is linked to Alzheimer's disease.

Some plastics have also proven to release toxins into the liquids they contain. Glass is your best option.

Is 8 oz. the correct amount of ACV with 1 TBSP of BS? How much water do you mix the 2 TBSP of ACV at lunch?

Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda
Posted by KT (Usa) on 01/27/2017

MtM,

I agree, 1 T of BS would be dangerous. In addition, I think if she put that amount in 8 oz. of ACV it would bubble all over her counter.

I wondered if she meant to say 8 oz. of ACV. I think that's a lot to drink.

2 T of ACV in water I have taken so I think that is okay. It helped with elimination and the stool appeared to be cover with "fur". I guess it was candida?

LOVE Earth Clinic!
I HAD a 5" tumor, non-fibroid, non-cancerous, in my uterus. My Ob/Gyn suggested a D & C, but I know they can be dangerous and painful. I looked for remedies on the web, and found out that Frankincense is anti-tumoral. I melted Extra Virgin Coconut Oil in a glass jar, added 2 tsp Vitamin E oil, 2 tsp Frankincense, and 2 tsp Tea Tree Oil. I rubbed it on my abdomin 2x a day for the past week. I also found out that making a very strong tea from cinnamon sticks will do a SERIOUS cleanse of the uterus (but will cause a miscarriage if you're pregnant- so BEWARE) and I've been waiting for my monthly to start so I could do that as well. My tumor is definitely shrinking and I feel almost back to normal since starting the oil rub. The tumor was causing me to be very anemic and very weak, but after just 2 days of the oil rub, I noticed a BIG improvement. Taking Apple Cider Vinegar 2x a day changed my monthly cycle from only 24 days (which has been typical my whole life) to a normal 28 day cycle and that's WONDERFUL!

But, this month I've gone 32 days and still no period. I'm wanting to try the cinnamon tea and see if I can pass this tumor, but the instructions for the uterine cleanse was to drink the tea once your period starts. So, I'm not sure what to do...... I'm concerned that the tumor turned loose from the uterine wall and is sitting on the mouth of the cervix and is blocking the flow of blood? Is that possible? And will the tumor become toxic if I don't get it out? Should I start the cinnamon tea without having started my monthly?

Thanks for any help ya'll can give me-Kendra

Stacey, do you know if your fibroid shrunk? I also live in boston area. Had a myomectomy the summer of 2009, had a baby last year and want to get pregnant again and now I have a orange size fibroid behind my cervix. I went for an MRI and saw a specialist and now I'm afraid that I might miscarry if I get pregnant but he said the risk of the surgery outweighs the benefits at this time. I will try anything that might help. I have been reading all the posts. Should I try 1 tsb of ACV and molasses daily or twice a day? any suggestions from anyone would be appreciated. Thx! W

It has been treated and my doctor says that since I am 50years old that menopause would set in and and the fibroid would shrink but meanwhile a friend told me of teds remedy and I looked it up but unfortunately I have been using the lime and soda with a few drops of vinegar. What should I do to neutralize it since I have taken too much acid for one month now non stop. Do I start taking only lime and soda and for how long do I have to take it before the fibroid would shrink. Pls tell me exactly how to take the remedy cos am stil on a high dosage of asprin and high blood pressure medication. I was diagnosed with a uterine fibroid the size of a plum about a month ago. I started with Blackstrap Molasses and Apple Cider Vinegar (2 tbsp twice a day) about 3 weeks ago. Plus, I included some herbs that are good for softening fibrous tissue and scar tissue (Arnica), Lugol's Iodine and Milk Thistle for my liver which is supposed to have been impacted somehow (not really surehow, just thought it would be good to add this). I also use Vitamin E, digestive enzymes (which is supposed to break up the tough fibrin outer layer of the fibroid). The Lugol's Iodine is supposed to be good for fibrocystic breast disease (of which I have been diagnosed and had 3 lumps removed over the years) and ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids as well.

I should mention that within a week after I started the ACV and BSM (I also used 1 tsp of baking soda with this which essentially detoxed the hell out of me! Did that the first week and then ran out of baking soda so I just continued with the ACV and BSM), then got my period. I was pleasantly surprised when my period came w/o the usual extremely tender breasts, pre-cramping and first two heavy days of bleeding. In fact, during the whole cycle, I probably used maybe 7 pads and 5 or 6 tampons, this includes nights which were more problematic and nerve-wracking. My energy level is up, and in a related development, my seasonal allergies are even gone! Amazing!

As you can see, I've been doing a lot and just a few days ago started having some steadily increasing spotting. It's not time for my period again yet so I don't think that's what's happening. I'm hoping that this is a result of the fibroid breaking up and coming out of me??? I don't know but I wanted to see if anyone else had similar experiences. I hope that some of you had success with your situations. I have an ultrasound scheduled for October 31 so I'm trying to hang in there until I get results. Hopefully they'll say the fibroid has either shrunk significantly or it's just gone. Praying for the latter! The last time I had a fibroid was 2 years ago and I had a Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), not a bad procedure, just don't want to have to do it again b/c it left me with medical bills even though I have insurance. I will post the results of my ultrasound in a couple weeks and hopefully good news too!

Hi Dee. I have read everything on here re uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts, and have never seen one case where someone gave their doctors results after using these things for a period of time. It is too bad, as so many people seem to see positive results. I have fibroids and reoccuring ovarian cysts, and have been using the ACV and BS (apple cider vinegar and baking soda) daily for well over a year now, along with other things, such as organic virgin coconut oil (3tbsp a day in my coffee) and turmeric. I have since lost my insurance, as I would love to go in and have another ultrasound to compare the size of my ovarian cysts and fibroids. I would think it would be very interesting.

Such as it is, all that I can say is incidental - I just FEEL better. I am almost 50, not showing one sign of menopause (yet) and have had NOTHING but female issues since I was 29 - until I started the ACV and BS. I am still not 100% "normal" - but I am at about 80% now. Much better than I used to be.... And not a placebo, or it would have worn off by now. Ha ha. Hope this helped a bit, and I too would LOVE to hear from someone with some hard physical evidence on the shrinkage, (or lack there of) of their fibroids or cysts. Good luck to you, Carly

I did not even realized I'm having my period until I went to the toilet. And guess what, I am also losing the extra fat around the abdomen that I had problem wearing my old pants - they are loose now. I will continue to take the ACV; hopefully it will help to shrink my fibroids. Will update again the result after my gynae appt in early Nov. Pray for me ya :)
