LOVE Earth Clinic!
I HAD a 5" tumor, non-fibroid, non-cancerous, in my uterus. My Ob/Gyn suggested a D & C, but I know they can be dangerous and painful. I looked for remedies on the web, and found out that Frankincense is anti-tumoral. I melted Extra Virgin Coconut Oil in a glass jar, added 2 tsp Vitamin E oil, 2 tsp Frankincense, and 2 tsp Tea Tree Oil. I rubbed it on my abdomin 2x a day for the past week. I also found out that making a very strong tea from cinnamon sticks will do a SERIOUS cleanse of the uterus (but will cause a miscarriage if you're pregnant- so BEWARE) and I've been waiting for my monthly to start so I could do that as well. My tumor is definitely shrinking and I feel almost back to normal since starting the oil rub. The tumor was causing me to be very anemic and very weak, but after just 2 days of the oil rub, I noticed a BIG improvement. Taking Apple Cider Vinegar 2x a day changed my monthly cycle from only 24 days (which has been typical my whole life) to a normal 28 day cycle and that's WONDERFUL!

But, this month I've gone 32 days and still no period. I'm wanting to try the cinnamon tea and see if I can pass this tumor, but the instructions for the uterine cleanse was to drink the tea once your period starts. So, I'm not sure what to do...... I'm concerned that the tumor turned loose from the uterine wall and is sitting on the mouth of the cervix and is blocking the flow of blood? Is that possible? And will the tumor become toxic if I don't get it out? Should I start the cinnamon tea without having started my monthly?

Thanks for any help ya'll can give me-Kendra

Stacey, do you know if your fibroid shrunk? I also live in boston area. Had a myomectomy the summer of 2009, had a baby last year and want to get pregnant again and now I have a orange size fibroid behind my cervix. I went for an MRI and saw a specialist and now I'm afraid that I might miscarry if I get pregnant but he said the risk of the surgery outweighs the benefits at this time. I will try anything that might help. I have been reading all the posts. Should I try 1 tsb of ACV and molasses daily or twice a day? any suggestions from anyone would be appreciated. Thx! W

Hi There, I'm 47 years old and have been suffering from very heavy periods. I know you girls know what that feels like the cramps aren't bad, but it's just terrible to never know when your period is coming. I would love to take a trip with my family for March break, but last year we landed and the day after boom-I got my period for 9 days it was terrible and ruined my whole trip. Besides the pill do you have any suggestions on how to stop the bleeding naturally.

Please help

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I am taking the apple cider vinegar, baking soda and black strap molasses for uterine fibroids, a recipe that I got at this wonderful website, and it is definitely working. Except for one thing, I am getting little bumps on my face, which I never had before and I was wondering which one of the ingredients is giving me this side effects. Has anyone out there have had this experience?

I have fibroid and I have travelled a lot around in the aircraft. Recently I had blood clot and my doctor suggested that because I sit in the aircratf alot it makes the fibroid to sit on my vital vein and that is why I have a blood clot. It has been treated and my doctor says that since I am 50years old that menopause would set in and and the fibroid would shrink but meanwhile a friend told me of teds remedy and I looked it up but unfortunately I have been using the lime and soda with a few drops of vinegar. What should I do to neutralize it since I have taken too much acid for one month now non stop. Do I start taking only lime and soda and for how long do I have to take it before the fibroid would shrink. Pls tell me exactly how to take the remedy cos am stil on a high dosage of asprin and high blood pressure medication. Does vinegar and lime have side effects and what are they, and how do I use molasses. Please reply urgently. Felicia from nigeria

I was diagnosed with a uterine fibroid the size of a plum about a month ago. I started with Blackstrap Molasses and Apple Cider Vinegar (2 tbsp twice a day) about 3 weeks ago. Plus, I included some herbs that are good for softening fibrous tissue and scar tissue (Arnica), Lugol's Iodine and Milk Thistle for my liver which is supposed to have been impacted somehow (not really surehow, just thought it would be good to add this). I also use Vitamin E, digestive enzymes (which is supposed to break up the tough fibrin outer layer of the fibroid). The Lugol's Iodine is supposed to be good for fibrocystic breast disease (of which I have been diagnosed and had 3 lumps removed over the years) and ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids as well.

I should mention that within a week after I started the ACV and BSM (I also used 1 tsp of baking soda with this which essentially detoxed the hell out of me! Did that the first week and then ran out of baking soda so I just continued with the ACV and BSM), then got my period. I was pleasantly surprised when my period came w/o the usual extremely tender breasts, pre-cramping and first two heavy days of bleeding. In fact, during the whole cycle, I probably used maybe 7 pads and 5 or 6 tampons, this includes nights which were more problematic and nerve-wracking. My energy level is up, and in a related development, my seasonal allergies are even gone! Amazing!

As you can see, I've been doing a lot and just a few days ago started having some steadily increasing spotting. It's not time for my period again yet so I don't think that's what's happening. I'm hoping that this is a result of the fibroid breaking up and coming out of me??? I don't know but I wanted to see if anyone else had similar experiences. I hope that some of you had success with your situations. I have an ultrasound scheduled for October 31 so I'm trying to hang in there until I get results. Hopefully they'll say the fibroid has either shrunk significantly or it's just gone. Praying for the latter! The last time I had a fibroid was 2 years ago and I had a Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), not a bad procedure, just don't want to have to do it again b/c it left me with medical bills even though I have insurance. I will post the results of my ultrasound in a couple weeks and hopefully good news too!

Debbie, I have read where the use of caffeine is contraindicated in the fibrous condition which you have, as it strongly agonizes the production of Fibrin.

The ultra sound back with another 5 of then. It is devastating. I want to remove it naturally without going under the knife again and hoping to have my first baby

Hi Dee. I have read everything on here re uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts, and have never seen one case where someone gave their doctors results after using these things for a period of time. It is too bad, as so many people seem to see positive results. I have fibroids and reoccuring ovarian cysts, and have been using the ACV and BS (apple cider vinegar and baking soda) daily for well over a year now, along with other things, such as organic virgin coconut oil (3tbsp a day in my coffee) and turmeric. I have since lost my insurance, as I would love to go in and have another ultrasound to compare the size of my ovarian cysts and fibroids. I would think it would be very interesting.

Such as it is, all that I can say is incidental - I just FEEL better. I am almost 50, not showing one sign of menopause (yet) and have had NOTHING but female issues since I was 29 - until I started the ACV and BS. I am still not 100% "normal" - but I am at about 80% now. Much better than I used to be.... And not a placebo, or it would have worn off by now. Ha ha. Hope this helped a bit, and I too would LOVE to hear from someone with some hard physical evidence on the shrinkage, (or lack there of) of their fibroids or cysts. Good luck to you, Carly

hi, I'm a 46yo female from Singapore. Am trying the ACV now that I hope will shrink my fibroids. I have a few fibroids with the biggest at 8cm. Can someone tell me if it's ok if I were to take the ACV and at the same time taking Evening Primrose oil?. Am taking the EPO twice daily for my PMS; I was just wondering if the EPO will interfere with ACV. I really want my fibroids to shrink as I don't want to go for surgery. Any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated.

Am glad to say that the ACV is helping me with my monthly PMS and period. For once in a long time I had pain-free period and hardly any PMS. I did not even realized I'm having my period until I went to the toilet. And guess what, I am also losing the extra fat around the abdomen that I had problem wearing my old pants - they are loose now. I will continue to take the ACV; hopefully it will help to shrink my fibroids. Will update again the result after my gynae appt in early Nov. Pray for me ya :)

Bitter Gourd
Posted by Mechelle (South America) on 11/21/2010

My mom had a large fibroid. I remember her putting my hand to feel the hardness on her abdomen. She passed this fibroid out after using karila(bitter gourd)leaves. There are two types of bitter gourd, the tiny round one with the small leaves(that grows wild) is what she used. She would rise in the am and pick a handful of this vine. Extract the dark green juice by rubbing the leaves in the palms of the hands. Drink a tablespoonful of this very bitter juice daily. I don't know for how long and I cannot ask her because she is deceased.

Margaret from Somewhere, Iowa, did you find out for sure whether your fibroid shrank, (with a scan)? That would be great if it did, and it would give me some hope at least!

I have a fibroid uterus, the size of a 10 week pregnancy. Most distressing is the large fibroid that's pressing on my bladder and causing all sorts of bladder and urethra pain/spasms.

I am desperate for a natural remedy as I don't want to have surgery, and have been painting iodine for the last week or so. I'm also drinking lemon water, and have just started molasses (2 teaspoons), each morning.

I've read a few posts that say painting iodine shouldn't help, as your body absorbs so little of the iodine with this method, and it's not worth doing. Is this true?

So far I haven't noticed any difference, but I know it's really early days. I expect it to take more than two weeks for me, as I just have so many fibroids and have had them for a long time.

Has anybody else had luck with iodine painting? Did it work, and how long did it take?

Hello, I'm back again with an update! I am pleased to post that I have just come off my second period after finding the ACV and BSM thread on this site. Well, I have to say, I have good news! This month my period started with a light flow on the first day, no cramps, the second day was a little more intense with flooding for about four to five hours but I could handle it, then normal flow for the rest of the day, the third day was a normal day and the fourth day I was done! That's right, I have knocked one whole day off my period, it's shorter since I started the ACV/BSM.

Before, I would flood for TWO DAYS and my period lasted for five days. Last month, I flooded for about six hours but it was the first month after starting the ACV/BSM. This month I was pleasantly surprised that my period came right on, no spotting, no cramps and one day shorter! I can touch my toes now, before I would get a very bad dull stabbing pain whenever I bent from the waist, but now I don't so I can go back to yoga now. My lower abdomen has decreased by at least three inches. I believe castor oil packs have something to do with that. I'm a believer, ladies, don't let them cut on you, keep your parts! Tomorrow I have an appointment with my Gyn, I'll give you all an update on what he tells me when I come home.

ACV/BSM is the best thing you can do for yourself, ladies, try it and stick with it, it worked for me, it can work for you!

I was glad when I came across this site. After reading this thread, I immediately order ACV and started using it. I have also been taking lime instead of lemon. I hope this will give the same result. I intend to add Baking soda since I already have some. I went to the store to try and get BSM but what I saw was black molasses and I was confused so I didnt buy it, is it the same thing? I also heard taking garlic and royal jelly helps so I am gonna order some. I intend to treat this thing from every angle till it goes, the hardest part for me is sticking to the diet and the routine of taking ACV, lime etc because I am always travelling. The good thing about this approach is that the its all natural so you cant overdose. Lol

Hello.. I am 47 yrs old and was diagnosed with fibroids about 1 year ago.. My gyno said the only option I had to deal with them was a hysterectomy.. This last cycle I bleed about 8 days, lots of clots and severe cramps.. So I decided to start the ACV and BSM regime two days ago.. I put 1 tbsp of ACV and 1 tbsp of BSM in a cup of red rooibos tea in the morning with a wee bit of stevia and it makes for a tasty tea..... Oh yes, I also quit drinking coffee four days ago and going to cut back on meat products because those that are not organic feed the fibroid growth... I drink more water since I'm not peeing as much now that I've stopped coffee and going to exercise on a regular basis.... I just finished my cycle so I'll keep you posted on how my menstrual is next time around...

Great post and informative.Thank you for sharing. I had the same problem and I was searching for treatment in many hospitals. At start I had irregular periods, later I was diagnosed with Fibroid. What is EVLT? I am scheduled for a laparoscopic hysterectomy in a couple of weeks. I'm having second thoughts. My fibroids have tripled in size in the last two months. I have a lot of stress in my life. Caring for my disabled father. He had a stroke and was left paralyzed. Plus he has a 10 year old son, no wife. Lots of debt, etc. I have a family of my own. If stress causes fibroids, I'm afraid mine will never go away.

Hi, I used the BSM for Fibroids before and had found them helpful and felt more energy overall also but they are nasty tasting to me and I got lazy and stopped. But my periods had gotten to the point of almost immobilizing me for 3 or 4 days and having to change clothes because of the sudden gushes. It seemed as if they lasted forever and I would be getting dizzy and lightheaded by the end and I was spotting almost all the time also. So I was reading on here and decided to get the BSM back out and start them again and also add ACV this time. I have been having 2 spoonfuls of BSM of the morning full strength (UGH) and then having a tablespoon of ACV in a 1/4 cup of tomato juice for lunch and supper. I have been at this for 2 weeks and then got my period. I still had pain but only lasted 1 day and could control with advil. Only had to change pads 2 times a day and I didn't bleed through or even come close to overflowing. I am so happy. Hopefully, next month will be even better since I will have been at this longer and maybe it will be doing something with the fibroids. I had been having the severe cramps and gushing for over a year straight so to see this change now I have to attribute it to the BSM and ACV. I don't think it was just a difference this time by nature because it has been so severe without change for so long.

Okay, I had a problem with my last post and got cut off so I'm back. The biggest thing about day 6 was that my fibroid on the left seems to have shrunk dramatically! It used to feel like I was carrying a grapefruit around and I could easily feel it just by touching my lower left side. Today is day 7 and my period is down to almost nothing! My period usually last 21-25 days!! My advice to anyone who tries this and her symptoms seem to get worse, that maybe your body NEEDED to purge the toxic mess from itself! Don't give up and keep it up. This stuff is a miracle!

I found out recently that I may possibly have a fibroid in my abdominal area. The thing is the doctors are not sure and they want me to have surgery to get it out to see if the growth is cancerous or not. The doctors said if it is cancerous, they are going to have to take either my uterus out or my ovaries and possibly my appendix. I am a 26 years old with no children, and may want some in the future. The growth is noticeable since I am petite. The growth is 15. 5 cm long and 14 cm wide. It is above my uterus so I still get my periods every month and I don't have any pain with this growth, just a little discomfort on my uterus from the size of the growth. I want to treat this just like any tumor rather it's benign or not. Can you please email me some remedies to rid this growth? I already changed my diet and started taking supplements like Quint Essence, Flaxseed oil capsules, fish oil capsules, and Vitamin C capsules. I stop eating red meat, and eat fish, turkey, and chicken purchased from Whole Foods Market. I eat my salads with apple cider vinegar. Please help. Thanks.

Hi, I have a question for Ted. I have just the last couple of weeks begun taking 1/2 tsp baking soda w/ 2 Tablespoons of ACV in 8 oz of water three times per day to try and reduce or rid myself of fibroids. While at home, I use a glass container to drink from. But at my office, I use an aluminum water bottle, as I was concerned with using plastic because of BPA. However, now I'm concerned with whether either the baking soda or the ACV will cause me to consume aluminum from my water bottle at work. Can you please address the issue of whether either plastic or aluminum are safe with this remedy, or whether it is always best to use glass containers. I've read many posts on your site, but I've never seen the issue of the type of container addressed with the use of ACV. Thanks very much for the help. I do find this site to be wonderful and am glad that I found you!

Hello,
I've not tried ACV yet, but am going to do so b/c of all the stories about how it's caused fibroids to shrink. I did read, though, about the danger of ACV ruining tooth enamel if sipped throughout the day. A website I went to advised to use a straw to bypass the teeth, always take ACV with plenty of water, three times/day, drink each of the three times within a short period of time, and rinse mouth out with water after drinking.

I just want to THANK ALL THE POSTERS on this board. I planned to have my fibroids removed this summer as I have had enough of taking pain medication for many years. For the last couple of years, the pain felt like I was in labor whenever i had my period not to mention the "flooding, clots and bloating stomach". I learned about this site a couple of months ago and started taking the recommended 2tbsp ACV with 1/4 tsp baking soda mixed with 1/2 cup of warm water then followed by 1tsp of BSM then a whole glass of warm water. I took this in the morning and evening. My period in March was much better than when i used to have my period before I had fibroids. It was "normal", no bloating, little clots and I did not even know it came until i went to the bathroom. I used to get pains on my lower back and legs a couple of days before it started. I did not have to take pain medication at all. I waited for my next period before writing my comments and appreciation on this board for validation. The next period felt even better. I lost 8lbs for the last couple of months too. I hope the ACV with baking soda the BSM have shrunk my fibroids. I'll find out after my next OBGYN appointment.

Again THANK YOU everyone for sharing your experience/s and comments..

I can't begin to express my gratitude for having found this website! My story is like many of you. I'm 49 years old and have been suffering for the past several years from periods that lasted 3 weeks with a short break in between, extremely heavy flow and lots of clotting, to the point where my quality of life had really deteriorated. I finally saw a doctor (no insurance) and was diagnosed with multiple fibroids, enlarged uterus, and too much endometrium. I was also very anemic, naturally. The doctor prescribed birth control pills to alleviate some of the bleeding, but said I would not get 100% relief and that my only choice was a hysterectomy. At first, I thought, "surgery, great! It will all be overwith! " But after having a moment to think, I realized major surgery is not something I want. So I consulted the web, and found this wonderful website! I pored over the testimonials for hours and finally came to the decision to try the ACV, BSM and baking soda route. I rushed out to Whole Foods and bought everything I needed. Coincidentally, I started the program on the first day of my period. I am taking 1 tbs ACV, 1/2 tsp baking soda in 8 oz. Water, followed by 1 tbs BSM straight from the spoon ( I don't mind the taste) morning and evening. The first two days were pretty light. Then, the usual much heavier flow began for the next two days. Then, on day 5... All hell broke loose!! I began hemorrhaging at around 11:30 am, passing multiple giant clots about every five minutes for about 4 hours straight! I thought I might have to go to the hospital for a transfusion. It finally subsided, leaving me exhausted and dizzy and wondering what had I done to myself?! By the next morning (day 6) the flow had decreased to moderate, but the strange thing was, my uterus no longer felt full, tight, and heavy AND believe it or not

I just found this site today. I am so grateful. I have read thru most everyones comments on this topic and wanted to thank everyone for sharing their experience.

My situation is a little different. I have many symptoms and not certain if they are all connected or from several medical problems.

Started some years ago with Thyroid/hashimoto's disease - first illness - taking thyroid hormones since they iradiated it. Next, hair loss - got scalp injections from dematology for this 5% cortizone shots. Long treatments but it worked. Since then I have developed these fibroids and excema. Are all these things connected? Also vision has gotten bad, now wear glasses. Also, Acid Reflux. Never took the script they gave me, but I did switch my diet some what.. after reading here I need to do more!

On the topic of fibroids, I too was diagnosed a couple of years ago and told to be sent into early menopause. I said no. I dont have heavy bleeding like alot of people here are saying, but I have excruciating pain! Feels like razors or boulders going thru my falopian tubes on the left side. Every month. Plus, I get low grade fevers and feel like I have the flu every month. Typical flu symptoms- headache, fever, naseau, vomiting. Litterally bed bound monthly for two weeks with these flu symptoms. I know there is no way I can have the flu every month and went back to the doctors. They paid no attention to my complaints about the flu as of yet. I have had a stomach CT scan and the results where clear, more fibroids - they are in my tubes, in my uterus and on my ovaries. They scheduled an Upper GI and a pelvic ultrasound. I am at my wits end with the pain!! Today thanks to this site I started the 2 tbspn of Apple cider vinegar mixed with 1/4 Tspn baking soda..and will take it twice or three times a day.

I have gained 40 lbs in the past year, yes, all tummy. Thinking that maybe its all from fribroids? Or alot of it anyway. Two years ago I didnt have uterine fibroids. Im hoping it helps and will let you know as things progress. Thanks to everyone for your openness and willing to share your experiences.

Hello Diana from Boston,

Type "potassium iodide" in search window and click on go or search. When references appear pull up one from Tahoma Clinic. I suggest you print this one out for future reference because SSKI is useful for much more than fibroids. This article is written by alternative doctor Jonathan Wright and is very useful and everything I have used SSKI for has been as he said in this article. One other thing he didn't mention is that 2 drops per day helps keep our stomach producing HCl acid for digesting our food.

To Joyce from Joelton

I found the article you spoke of: Tohoma Clinic Dr Wright- here is the link for the future, I had to google for it because all that came up from this site when I searched were your posts telling people to look it up.. here is the link for others for future reference- you should just post the link instead: http://www.tahomaclinic.com/iodide.shtml

So I have some questions about the use of SSKI or Potasium Iodide : First, I am hypothyroid and spoke with my doctor just today and she said to avoid Iodine. So I am reluctant to take this product.

Second, I also had my Pelvic Ultrasound today and they found 2 Fibroids in the uterus just slightly larger than golf balls. One on each side.

With this help with my fribroids? Did not see that mentioned on the site. Also, I am type A blood, noticed that people with Type A blood are not suppose to take Apple cider Vinegar. Although at this point its either surgery or the ACV or some other remedy.

I did notice and found it interesting that the SSKI is also used to treat people that have been affective by Nuclear Fallout. I was in the service and I was the Nuclear Biological and Chemical Weapons Officer and was exposed to radiation and Perchlorate sulfates alot (dry cleaning fluids) we used them to clean parts of things.. weapons, helicopter parts etc.) I remember having my arm - pit deep in barrels of the stuff on many occassions. As well as a nuclear densomitor which I had to use quite often. Holding it by the spoke that you put in the soil. Was not aware at the time it emmited large amounts of radiation.

Do you think these things could have caused all my ILLS? Hypothyroidism, Copd, asthma, fibroids, diverticulosis and diverticulitis? Seems like all these things are listed on the tahoma site. If I could find a common cause then maybe I could find a common cure? Could use your input.

Thank you for posting to me - I appreciate your feedback and assistance from everyone.

Hello Diana from Boston,

First a question or two. Is your thyroid just sluggish and still functioning or totally wiped out? If it is still functioning then it needs some iodine to function properly, so why did your doctor tell you to avoid it? Hopefully you also picked up on the use of SSKI to liquify secretions in the respiratory tract so you can get them out, which means that it should help with asthma and COPD. Another thing to consider if it is just sluggish is that a deficiency of B complex vitamins causes a sluggish thyroid, so I suggest that you get a good stress tab (B complex with vitamins C & E) and take 1 at mealtime and bedtime although the container will tell you to take 1 a day.

Another question, while you were up to armpit in the goop in the service, were you taking SSKI or anything to protect your thyroid from radiation? If not, it is unlikely that the radiation isn't part of the cause of your problems.

I have also read that those with asthma are low on selenium. Wild cherry bark tea is supposed to be good for asthma. You might also want to read Bill's inhalation method of H202 for the asthma and COPD. I am all for trying what is likely to help, and not likely to harm with unwanted side effects. I also recall reading in EC about someone curing their COPD with a home remedy which included mullein, so you might want to look this up. Mullein is a very easy to identify wild plant, but since it mentioned using the seed pods, you won't likely find seed pods until this coming fall. Some herbal shops might sell them though.

Could you share your source for the recommendation that people with type A blood should not take ACV? I think I am type A and I have been taking ACV/honey for a long time (at least 40-50 years) and I am still alive and kicking.

I believe that if you reread Dr. Wright's article on SSKI, you will find that he mentions cystic breast disease. But you would have to follow what your thyroid is doing because you would be taking it for several months and it can suppress the thyroid. I figure that if it gets rid of fibroids in the breast, it should also get rid of fibroids in the uterus or elsewhere.

My breasts were nothing much but lumps for years. I can't say for sure that vitamin E is what got rid of them, but vitamin E is what I had added to my daily vitamins, and several months later I was surprised to find that all my lumps were gone and replaced with normal breast tissue, so if you aren't taking vitamin E, start taking at least 400 IU/day and see what happens.

To find out how much perchlorate sulfates might have done to you, just type it into a search window and if you find that it has been a big part of your problem, print it out and take it with you to visit the VA Hospital doctors and put in a claim for the damage done to your health by the exposure. Hope you find some of this useful and hope your health improves.

Hi AWA, I would just look for a natural doctor or try Google and type in "bioresonance therapy italy" just like that but then in Italian. It will give you the adresses of places where you can get bioresonance therapy in Italy. Good luck, I hope you get the same quick results as I did! I'm sure there are people out there in Italy who offer bioresonance therapy. Tina

Hi Tina, Can you post the clinic's address (website, email, or mailing address) where you were treated with bioresonance? I think here in the U.S. It is not available. Is there anyone who tried this anywhere else? EC, could you please forward my question to Tina if you have her email address? Thanks

Hello Everyone!

I've been reading the posts on this site with great interest...so many of us have similar stories! So, I'd like to share mine with you...

I'm a (very young!) 45 year old black woman. Up until last year I had normal periods, heavy flow & cramps on the 1st day, gradually tailing off and coming to an end on day 4. However, last year I was diagnosed with one submucous fibroid (which was the size of a 3 1/2 month foetus) and several small intramural fibroids. My periods went up to 8 days (heavy for at least 5 days and very bad cramps for the first 2-3 days). I was getting through a 12-pack of pads per day for Days 1-3. Plus, regardless of my exercise regime, my once-flat tummy now resembles a woman who is 3-4 months pregnant. Not fun at all.

I visited 2 gynaecologists who gave varying drastic "suggestions" for treatment, including "microwaving the lining" of my uterus and a hysterectomy: I'm 45 with no kids, so I suppose that's why the male doctor felt these were options for me. I soon set him straight and put a flea in his ear in the process!!

My dear friend Janice sent me the link to this site, and I decided to try the apple cider vinegar and blackstrap molasses. A few days after my last period, I started with 30 mls ACV (2-3 large tablespoons), 1 tablespoon BSM, the juice of 1/2 a lime, mixed with 150 ml of hot water, twice a day.

Almost immediately, I started getting period cramps. Sometimes quite severe! I used a positive mental attitude to think that the cramps were related to my shrinking fibroids (lol!)

My period started on Saturday 3oth Jan. On the 1st day the flow was lighter than it has been in ages! On the 2nd day the flow was quite heavy and the cramps were awful. I went to a party, got home in the late hours of the morning and was tired all day Sunday, so I don't know if that was a contributing factor. However, in the past I wouldn't have felt comfortable leaving my house, let alone attending an all-night party!

BUT on Monday (Day 3) the flow had reduced to a trickle! Today is Day 4 and I'm only on panty-liners. I won't know if the fibroids have actually shrunk until my next check-up (next month), but I'm just glad it seems to have had a positive effect on my period!

This stuff has worked for me in a short space of time. My stomach has gone down a LITTLE. I just wish I'd known about this remedy before. I shall keep taking it and will let you know if the fibroids have shrunk.

Hope it works for everyone as well as it worked for me!

Peace & Blessings
Goldenlady KaieCie

Hi, I have been reading this site for most of my day and this particular post topic is one I can't talk about with anyone because I dnt have any friends due to my fibroids. And I have no insurance so I cnt talk to a doctor.

I first got my period at 17 and it came once or twice a year since then. Lasting from 10 days to 2 months. 2009 it came in August and lasted 1 month. No pain. Just heavy bleeding. It came again in April. 2010 and didn't go away till June. Luckily before my bday. I am so lucky I should say that I am a housewife now at 26. May 29th the bleeding and pain was unbearable so I took a hottttt bath to calm me dwn. I woke up in the er they sent me home and said it was just irregular bleeding. I took the pain killers they prescribed. I needed them. Everything went away June 15. Now its been a month since I've been bleeding very heavily. And minor pain at night. I go through 8 of the largerst overnight pads a day. Very big blood clots. I am going to try the ACV recipe :-)

I really hope and pray it works because I am afraid to travel far from my house. My boyfriend is suffering. I'm suffering. And I want to have a baby soooo bad I'm the only one of 4 sisters and 3 neices that doesn't have a baby. I'm falling behind. My 23 yr old neice is expecting her 2nd one next month. If u think that I am way past the ACV and I should cough it up and get them removed. But I dnt know if that's going to help me. SUGGESTIONS and COMMENTS please.....

Hi Ted, Hi EC,

Could you please let me know if it is ok to mix ACV, BSM and baking soda all togather and drink the mixture first thing in the morning and get the benefits of all three?

I have mixed ACV and BSM together. If you buy the organic, unfiltered ACV there is a recipe on the bottle. It makes the taste a bit more bareable. I have not mixed in the baking soda. Since that is the ingredient that balances the PH I will try it.

To relieve spotting, use Shepherd's Purse in capsule form for immediate effect (also available as a tea). Vitex agnus castus (also known as Chasteberry) capsules taken daily will also regulate your period and help to stop break-through bleeding.

I'm on Depo. I want to get off it. I've gained weight since being on it. I want to go more natural. I found this site and have been reading with much interest. I bought some ACV and BSM. I've started taking it. I go see my OBGYN next month. Hopefully I'll be able to get off the Depo and use ACV and BSM to shrink the fibroids.

Fibroids: Tampons & Pads

Regarding Tampons and Pads: Ladies all tampons and pads are bleached with CHLORINE unless you are buying organic/non-bleached natural cotton items.

Chlorine is very toxic it creates a by-product Dioxin which is harmful and linked to cancer and tumors (google it). You can buy cotton items at any natural health food store or online (they are expensive but worth it). I would recommend buying these especially for women with Fibroids.

Have any fibroids shrunk with ACV and Black molasses?

I have been using 1 tb of acv and 1 tb of black unsulphured molasses for the past 3 weeks after I was diagnosed with large fibroids. While I did not have too much pain initially, the remedy helped ease the pain that started almost immediately after I was diagnosed. Also, my period was much lighter and much less clotted than in prior months.I am scheduled for surgery in March and am wondering if for anyone at all the fibroids have shrunk???

I too have fibroids and BSM is truly a miracle. I have all the symptons of parasites. I have tried ACV and get blood in my stool almost immediately. Do I continue taking ACV and the bleeding will stop or should I be doing something else to kill off the parasites??

Today my period started and over 7hours and still haven't change a pad... Just spotting. Hoping this will continue. Would like some feedback on possible shrinkage or fibroids be gone.

Thanks Saphire.

Thanks for all the comments shared. I have learned a lot. Please is baking powder same as baking soda? I have fibroid too and the last time I checked the size in April this year, it was 4.1cm. Since then, I have been taking ACV, and juice made from beet root, Apple, lemon and carrots. I have lost so much weight and my protruded tommy has reduced drastically.

EC: No, Baking Soda is Sodium Bicarbonate here in the USA.

I have started taking over the last week, a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice with virgin olive oil which is about a table spoon qty when you combine the two. My period started 3 days into this and I have had no cramping and no clotting. I will definitely add ACV and molasses to the mix now. I also feel that a little high intensity training helps a lot with health so please consider a min of 30min a day 3x a week. A natural healer told me once that fibroids were created out of a past male hurt . Once I left my husband the symptoms improved drastically too so perhaps look at men in your life both past and present and see what issues you need to work through so you arent indirectly making yourself ill by holding onto pain.

Fibroids: I am 52 years old. I am on Zoladex (generic name Goserelin) to help breast cancer and it helped shrink the 6 cm fibroid in my uterus. However, it has flared up again despite the strong medication. I believe it is because I recently started dairy products after abstaining for a year because of press reports about a link with breast cancer. I have also been using natural progesterone cream which in my case is not balancing estrogen as it is zero in my blood analysis BECAUSE THE DRUG lowered it to zero. I suspect the cream may have also fed the benign egg because I have used it together with this drug without specialist advice. It may have fed the fibroid. I tried ACV and it immediately helped.

I have suffered from fibroids for many, many years. My monthy periods were debilitating to say the least. The only thing that worked for me was taking Naproxen and that killed my stomach for the next few days. I had been reading about the black strap molasses and was willing to give it a try. I am so glad I did! The first month I only took it when my menstruation started and felt my cramps had subsided somewhat but the second month I decided to take it a few days before my mentruation and what a difference it made. I feel like a totally different person. I still had to take 1 Naproxen but not 4 or more like before and I probably could have gone without it all together...I will try that next month. As far as the way I consume the molasses, I just add 1 tablespoon to one of my daily green tea servings.
