Peter, read up on the watercure2 site about taking a few grains of salt with your glass of water. I've seen it help for reducing frequent urination, especially at night, even with taking less water than what they advocate.

You might give prostate massage a try. There are websites to tell you how to do it. Kegal exercises might help as well.

I keep an empty plastic detergent container with the large opening by the bed so I don't have to run to the restroom.

Since I have kidney issues, the tomato paste is hard on me because of the high potassium level. I have just determined that watermelon has about 50% less potassium for the same amount of lycopene and the absorption seems to be just as good, without the need for oil - although coconut oil I believe is still good for you nonetheless. I love tomatoes on my salads, but I've read that tomatoes have to be cooked in order to reduce the risk of prostate cancer. Is this true?

The compound in tomatoes that reduces the risk of prostate cancer is lycopene, which is the carotenoid pigment responsible for their red color. Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant that a number of large studies have shown is particularly good at protecting against prostate, colon and rectal cancer, as well as heart disease. It is true that lycopene is much more available to the body from cooked tomatoes than from raw ones. And since it is fat soluble, you need to eat your cooked tomatoes with some fat to facilitate absorption. That doesn't mean eating all the pizza you can get your hands on. However, it does suggest that homemade marinara sauce would be a healthful staple. I make my marinara with olive oil and keep some on hand in the freezer.

However, if you don't like tomatoes, you could try watermelon. Results of recent research at the U.S. Department of Agriculture suggest that watermelon contains 40-percent more lycopene than an equivalent weight of tomatoes. As a matter of fact, one study suggests that watermelon may be a better source of lycopene than tomatoes. The amount of lycopene provided in watermelon is as well absorbed by the body as lycopene from tomatoes. (And, of course, you don't have to cook watermelon to get the same benefits that you get from tomatoes.)

This new information about lycopene comes from a study at the USDA's Agricultural Research Service laboratory in Maryland. Participants (all of them healthy) ate either a diet low in lycopene or one supplemented with cooked tomato juice or squeezed and frozen watermelon juice. Results showed that those who drank either juice doubled their blood lycopene concentrations by the end of the trial. Scientists say that this is the first study to show that the body takes up lycopene from raw watermelon.

The body converts about 500 different carotenoids into vitamin A. I recommend taking advantage of them all. A diet rich in fruits and vegetables, especially peaches, melons, mangoes, sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkins, tomatoes, and dark leafy greens - and now watermelon - can give you an abundant supply of these healthy pigments. (If you don't get enough of these foods in your diet, you may want to use an antioxidant supplement. I recommend a mixed carotenoid supplement containing lycopene, lutein, alpha-carotene and zeaxanthin, as well as beta-carotene.)

Try D M S O with lugol's solution, you should have your thyroid monitored when doing iodine. Also cranberry is very good for urinary track, get a lab test to know exactly what your dealing with. Hope this helps.

Hello; I have been following the H202 protocol for about two months and have not noticed any improvement in my prostatitis condition. After doing the build up to 25 drops for 3 times a day I continued for three weeks and now I'm using 25 drops x2 dally and still experience a continual burning. This question is from my daughter, a situation has arisen with my boyfriend. He is only 23 years old and having serious problems with what seems to be his prostate. About a year ago, he noticed blood in his semen. He also was experiencing severe lower back pain and difficulty gaining an erection at certain times. This obviously freaked him out, so he began looking for answers online and through his peers. He went back to his doctor who referred him to a Urologist who wanted a urine sample, but ran no tests of his semen, kidneys, liver, or any other body parts that may have been affecting this. The Urologist ended up putting him on the same medicine he was taking but advised him to take it for a longer period of time (1 month). After he finished this, the problem seemed to go away until just a week ago. He pleasured himself and noticed a large amount of blood all throughout his semen. He brought it to my attention, and I told him to see his doctor. He argued with me, because he felt as if they'll just put him right back on the meds, sort of shrugging it off like before. We ended up having sex just a few nights ago and as he pulled out to finish, I realized the huge amount of blood in his ejaculate. This time, they took a blood sample to test his PSA levels, which turned out to be completely normal. Yet, they still sent him home with the same medication as before calling it an infected prostate. He also asked the doctor at the emergency room if it could affect me from us engaging in unprotected intercourse. The doctor said "absolutely not. " But, we are obviously still very worried about his ongoing issue. After these antibiotics, it will most likely just come back. I have had similar problems 2 times in my life. Blood in my semen after a very intense orgasm. I was maybe 28 yrs old. You can add the ACV to any type juice if the taste bothers you. Many put the ACV into a small glass of orange juice.

I frequent going to bathroom at night- guess I had symptom of enlarged prostate, regarding acv, what is the mixture?

I have noticed a lot of people aking what dosage of ACV to take.

I use 2 tbls in a glass and add 1/4 teaspoon to it and let it fizz off or rest for 5 minutes or so. This takes the acidic bite out of it. I then add 1/4 glass of flavoured water to get it down with because the taste of the ACV makes me heave. I do this every morning after breakfast except Sat. and Sun. Those two days are under Ted's recomendation to let the body return to its normal state.

Now this has worked well for me for burning hip pain and depression but did nothing for my prostrate infection. A strong anti-biotic knocked that out. I hope this helps .

I tried apple cider vinegar and it did help some but made me constipated. Blackstrap molasses also helps some, but not great either.
