I have a number of moles. Three weeks ago I was excited to find possible home remedies within your site. (My GP's refused to get them removed as the procedure would be considered cosmetic.) I started treating 3 of my moles with garlic immediately, (just a slither to cover them exactly) and cleaning with H2O2 6%. The largest one, which was on my face, took really well to the treatment. Within days, it flattened and went soft and black. The area surrounding became inflamed. I believe this is not due to contact with the garlic, H2O2, plasters or micropore. It is simply the area reacting to what is going on. I then found out that you should only do one mole at a time (Immune system) so I kept up treating the one on my face and 'just' put ACV on 2 of the others (probably a mistake.) Anyway the one on my face started to form a yellow crust around the edges and 'dry out'. I did feel a bit sick for two days as I think my body was absorbing and processing the contents. On the 10th day it came off while I was cleaning it with H2O2. (It was just like a thick piece of dead skin) It is now day 17 and the skin is slightly pink and VERY tender. There is no crater though and I think this is because I didn't pick it at all. I let it do its thing and grow skin underneath. (VERY important.) However I think that a new mole maybe growing again! Nonetheless I am keeping it clean (H2O2), smothering it in aloe vera gel and keeping it covered. The problem is with the other moles! Once the one on my face fell off, I started to treat one on my inner thigh. It seemed to grow with the garlic treatment so I stuck to ACV. Well I had to stop that as the top came off twice, the mole has got flatter but bigger and turned yellow and the skin around it was coming off and underneath was black! I just went to my GP because I was worried it had turned cancerous or gangrenous. Luckily he said it just looks like an infection. Am now on antibiotics and painkillers (and feel such a fool.) I guess I was lucky with the one on my face. Notably the other mole I was treating I switched to smothering it in aloe vera gel and keeping it covered while I started on my thigh. It seems to be diminishing very slowly. I think this is the safest way to treat moles. Clean with H2O2 and smother with Aloe Vera gel and keep covered. It is a much slower process but much more gentle. If you saw the mess my thigh is in you would agree. My theory is moles might be caused by different things and therefore react differently to treatments. They also react differently depending on the type of body tissue they are in to be honest I do not know why I have an infection. Throughout my treatment process I have been taking 2tsp ACV in 1/2 pt filtered water daily, along with 3 cloves chopped raw garlic daily , and 1000mg Vit C (As ascorbic acid) up to 5 times a day. I also have kept the sites and everything I used very clean.

I was sceptical but desperate to get rid of a large mole just below my collar bone. I googled and found this site and decided to give it a try. I used a mixture of garlic and ACV (slicing the garlic and leaving the slices in the ACV and changing the garlic twice a day). It took four days to dry out the mole, which I then picked off (a little too early perhaps). The skin around the mole did get burnt and I dont think this can really be helped, but I healed the area using Vit E oil and antiseptic cream. There is now only a small scar, but my parter also has a scar after having a mole surgically removed some years ago so I think that is invitable and I would rather the scar then the mole. I am working on a second one now! Thanks so much for this site and your suggestions!

I have seen on other sites that if you prick the mole with a needle it will allow the vinegar to penetrate deeper and you will see quicker results. I also seen that if you put vaseline on the skin surrounding the mole it will create a barrier so that the skin does not get irritated. I am currently having cherry angiomas removed by laser and started looking into ways to remove moles. Glad I've found this site. Lets just say I have many.

Banana Peels

to John from selma who used banana peels for moles. How exactly did you use them. You mentioned heating them up and applying. Do you heat them and apply the soft inside of the peel, and if so, for how long? How many days do you have to do it?
Thank you,
Amelia

I read what you said and I wantd to ask you how do we have to heat the banana peels? Like in the microwave? And do we have to cut a piece and just put it on for the night!? How does it work, how much time? Thanks

I'm thinking about using this method on a mole on my face... what kind of ACV do you use? Organic or Diluted from grocery stores?

I used the cheapest Apple Cider Vinegar I found in the supermarket. In fact it only says cider vinegar on the bottle. Don't know whether it was suppose to say apple in front?! Either way, the cheapest Apple Cider Vinegar got rid of my moles after about a week. Read my comments below though (and any other comments) about the scarring afterwards.

Blood Root Paste did indeed remove a few moles from me. Each mole took a bout a week. It can be a bit uncomfortable and painful for a few days when it swells up. This method supposedly uses your own immune system. Those with auto immune systems may wish to consider this fact.
Since it became hard to find, I can also testify to Edgar C's baking soda and Castor oil method. (The Castor oil is Cold Pressed. Found in Health food Stores. Not the normal type found in Drug stores.) Scratching or pricking the mole, then applying a paste of the two ingredients, and covering with a bandage. The first mole I tried with this method was gone in 3 days ( takes a bout a week to heal after that.) I have 2 that are being treated right now. They are in the "blister" swollen stage on day 2. That can be a bit painful...but they should be gone in the next 2 days... This is suppose to work with warts as well. It did indeed get rid of a very, very small one on my penis.. it felt like a grain of salt under the skin... this took about 12 days... A much bigger wart on my toe that I have had for almost 10 years has not seen results yet, after 12 days... So it may be a stronger, older wart, or the method just might work better on Moles? Either way , it does seem to work on both.

I tried the castor oil and baking soda method. I read on another site to mix it to the consistency of gum. I put it on and it immediately started burning! The burning got so bad, I finally had to wash it off.

I am using castor oil with baking soda since two weeks but there is a small hole I noticed on the mole. Should I continue with the procedure or is there is something serious happening?

I have many small moles on my torso so I thought I would give some remedies a try. The one I put garlic on was about 3/8 inch big and slightly raised. I squeezed the garlic and put it on a bandaid. It tingled all day so I figured it was working. That evening when I took off the bandaid I saw a burn that was about 3/4 inch round, very sore and inflamed. So I guess the warnings were right. I suspect that my garlic was fresher and stronger than some others. The mole I am trying the iodine cure on is still getting iodine on a bandaid twice a day - nothing different after 4 days. The little cluster of moles I am using coconut oil on are unchanged after 4 days. I'll keep you posted. But anyone who is trying the garlic cure should use some unpetroleum jelly to surround the mole and prevent burning. Good luck,

I had a small mole on my arm that the doctor wanted to cut off, it was turning a strange shape and was red in parts. I was booked for getting it cut off, but in the meantime had found that taping a slice of garlic to it can help. I taped it on and refreshed it a few times a day, within a few days the actual mole had lifted out and there was a hole there where the problem part of the mole was!) i showed the doctor and he was surprised but there was no need to remove it.

★☆☆☆☆WARNING!
Some people rarely understand WHY it is important to get moles looked at. Your mole was becoming red and sore before you applied anything to it, the reason the doctors do an "excesion" of that mole is to send it in for testing, to see if it is cancerous 99% of the time it is, if it has started bleeding or changing on its own. Yes you dropped the mole off - but only on the surface. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS to mess with ones that have begun to change and not get it sent in for testing. Malignant melanoma is a highly deadly cancer. Doing what you did you risk the chance of it going into stage 3-4 without even knowing, to which the survival rate at most is 5 years.
WARNING TO ALL - if your mole has begun to change, dont mess with it, i know it leaves a small scar if they cut it off, but its important it gets looked at.
Bloodroot Paste

My husband had a large mole on his back that has increased in size over the years. He's very anti-doctor. After some extensive research he decided to try the bloodroot paste. It has worked perfectly, just as described. Be prepared, it can be VERY painful, especially with a bigger lesion, but he is very satisfied with the results. I am an RN, and I am amazed by the results and complete and total removal of the mole. He now has a nice pink, granulated wound that I'm certain will heal quickly without infection. Had he had convential surgery, I'm certain he would have had a much larger wound with the probable need for a skin graft. We are very satisfied with the results.

Not being confident about wearing a swimsuit because of a number of moles on my back I am so happy that I stumbled across this quick and effective remedy to curing moles. It works. I was a bit sceptical but after treating a mole on my back and finding out for myself that it does work I will be tackling the others too. Next summer I will be able to wear a swimsuit with confidence.
The String Method

I have removed three moles with the thread method. I used a sterilized piece of thread, you can only use this method with mushroom shaped moles (smaller base, with like a muffin top) and you have to tie the string (or hair) around the base pretty tight, but not tight enough to break the skin. Swab it with alcohol every day until it falls off (about 5 days.)
Garlic, Apple Cider Vinegar, Tea Tree Oil

★★★☆☆WORKED TEMPORARILY
Hi, I used garlic on one of my facial moles, however I only had temporary relief. I left a piece of garlic overnight on my mole using a band aid, the skin peeled off after two days. Initially it seemed like the mole was gone because the skin around the mole was raw and pink, however the mole reappeared in a few days. I feel that the size of the mole has reduced but cannot be sure since the area around the mole is still red. I had used tea tree oil earlier and the same thing happened.
Has someone else faced similar situations, should I try using ACV or garlic again? I'm pretty skeptical because every time I try a remedy it leaves the skin around the mole red and attracts more attention than the mole itself. Thanks in advance.

Malt Vinegar, Vitamin C Powder
Posted by Sally (Birmingham, Uk) on 06/22/2012
Hi, I have recently applied malt vineger and vitamin c powder to 4 moles on my face and 1 on my arm. I followed what I needed to do correctly, using a sterilized needle to scratch the moles and file. Then applied the vinegar and vitamin c powder. After scratching them with the needle and file, it stung a bit then I put a band aid over them and went to sleep.
I did scratch quite a lot of the moles off in the first day but this was every couple of hours. Some times they would bleed only slightly, and majority only dead skin tissue of the moles would come off.
They have gone flat and turned into scabs, it's just making me feel a bit sick all day. And the treatment area is flat brown or black however it has gotten slightly bigger. But I assume this is part of the healing process. Some of the surrounding skin healing too. Is this normal?
I would also like to know how do you know what the root of the mole is supposed look like and how deep can they go so I know what to look for so I get the whole mole. So it doesn't grow back again. Other wise I've wasted my time on these moles
Plus if you don't get the root can the moles get bigger when growing back?
Oh yeah do I wait till the scabs drop off and repeat the process?
Thank you in advance.

Hey guys, so I removed a pea sized mole around my face about a little over a month ago with garlic, and I was left with a red spot for a couple weeks, then it eventually faded a little and got darker. How can I speed up the healing process for it to dissappear completely? How long did it take for your redness to go away completly?
I went to a dermatologist to check out the hyperpigmentation, and he prescribed me a bleaching cream which is supposed to lighten up the mark. He said first it'll turn red, (which it has), then it will heal back to its normal pigment, so now it looks like how it was when I first removed the mole--bright red.
Much appreciated guys.

I put a shred of garlic clove on my facial mole, it was really small but it was on the tip of my nose & I didnt like it. So yesterday is when I put the garlic and just now I removed the facial mole with a toothpick and I just picked it off. Yes it's kinda painful, but worth it! because it is now gone :)

★★★☆☆BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS
The garlic definitely removed my mole, but there's a grayish discoloration around where the mole was where the garlic pulp spilled over. I was too much of a wuss to peel off the mole once it was shriveled and scabbed, so it took about 10 days to get rid of.
But I still have that gray pigmentation in a big ugly circle. How do I get rid of it?
