Bloodroot Paste

I used bloodroot paste on a large mole on the back of my neck. It took several weeks because of the size, but it worked wonderfully. I got the idea from my brother in-law who has used it repeatedly on several facial moles. He has had no problems.

Ted's Mole Theory

Ted, I am intrigued by your theory that moles are fungi protected by melanin. It makes sense that they grow and shrink and puff out! I recently burned one off in less than a day of using garlic clove mixed with ACV. I also used black walnut tincture for 5 days prior with no noticeable results. After less than a day I pulled the round bandaid off and it was blistered so I stopped doing anything. I poked it with a pin and realized it wasn't attached. I squeezed pus out for a day and then it dried up and rubbed off quite easily in four days, and the remaining scab five days later. I had some success with castor oil and baking soda on different moles but they came back. I think it's different for everyone and every mole because possibly every mole is a different fungus protected by melanin so it makes sense that they can't be destroyed all the same way! Also, I am very lethargic and have swollen lymph nodes and tonsil cruddies as well as over 350 moles all over my body so it makes sense that I'm full of viruses or funguses!!! Any good foods to eat? Goji? Garlic? Onion? Potassium rich foods? I heard that warts and moles can be a sign of potassium deficiency, but some people think moles are just the hangy dark ones so I'm not sure if they meant flat ones as well. Have you heard anything on this? Once again I'm very intrigued by your ideas please update me on any helpful information.

Try adding 1/2 tsp. baking soda to each litre of water that you drink. I started drinking 3-4 litres per day to help alkalize my PH to get rid of a 3 year battle with MRSA. Not only was the MRSA gone within a few days but it never came back and I noticed several other "side effects". One of these effects was that my moles started shrinking from within days. I added extra virgin coconut oil to my diet a couple of times a day and most of my skin blemishes were gone within a month with no sign of their previous existence.

On the tough moles, I am adding 5% lugol's iodine right now. It has been three days and they are hard and dry. A patch of scab from one fell off last night to expose pink skin so I think it's working. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out.

Garlic, Sea Salt

I'm so glad i came across this forum. I had a mole the size of about 1/8th of an inch in diameter. I cut a similar size slice of garlic, rubbed vaseline lightly around the mole, placed the garlic on the mole and covered with band aid. i alternated the second night with sea salt instead of the garlic coz sea salt has iodine (to minimize burning as some people had warned about). on the 3rd night, while cleaning it with a cotton ball dipped in warm water, the mole fell right out. left a tiny weenie hole that looked like someone had scooped it out with a micro spoon. i didnt apply anything else on it except for vitamin E from a caplet the next 2 days or so. The skin has since patched itself up and save for a tiny scab, it is healing well. I expect the scab to fall off in a day or two. Thanks to all who posted their experiences coz it saved me several hundred dollars for surgery when all it took was a bit of nature. I hope this helps someone.

ACV, Garlic and Iodine

Hi, I'm trying the acv thing now after reading your account. I have a pea-sized mole on my cheek, and I think the acv is really working, but I was not careful enough the first time I applied it and got on my cheek around the mole. It left tiny little spots on my face that look like burns... is this something will fade with time?? I've been using aloe to try to clear it up. Thanks for any info.

I have been using the Apple Cider Vinegar for 3 days pretty much most of the day and night. The moles turned black quickly but now they have a white ring around them one seems to be a little indented but there soft to touch and not dry and scabby at all is this normal? thanks

Used garlic to remove a mole for two days. Protected the area with vaseline but got badly burned around it... Not good... Shouldn't have tried it on my face. Would probably need days to heal. Not sure if the mole will fall off... turned black and dry...

The mole fall off... But still really red around it and a yellow scab where the mole was. Will probably use again this method with garlic juice only applied on the mole few times a day.... Garlic applied directly is just too strong...

This worked great for me, I had a mole behind my ear since I was a kid(32 yo now). After poking and soaking once per day, it dried up and fell off with a little help.

I'm disappointed that I didn't try this sooner.

Be advised, it does cause a bit of redness which is temporary.

Maybe you could use a small makeup brush to apply the vaseline or whatever you're using to protect the skin around the mole? Or what about some kind of organic chapstick, instead of petroleum jelly?

I'm not sure about "scratching" it. I doubt it's necessary and it's a bit of a risk. Perhaps a hot compress, if one believes one must "open" it up for the ACV...

Bloodroot Paste

Hey, I said I'd write back after I finished using the bloodroot paste on a mole on my arm, so here I am! I am mostly pleased with the results. The reason I say mostly is because I seem to have missed a tiny bit of the mole when I was applying the paste, and am left with a tiny speck of mole, about the size of a pen-tip. But the part of the mole that did get covered is completely gone. I had applied a fresh bit of paste to the mole after every daily shower (because the medical tape got wet and uncomfortable, mostly) for a week. A white ring developed around the mole (the part that I had missed didn't get the ring). The surrounding skin was red and felt itchy, rather uncomfortable. At the end of the week, I left the bandage off while in the shower, and when the water hit it the scab that had formed in the center of the ring, it just fell off. I was left with a hole in the skin, not very deep, and it didn't hurt at all. After that, I applied Neosporin and a bandage, kept it changed every day for another week, and after that I stopped applying anything to it at all, not even a bandage. Now it's all healed up,the skin is smooth and there's only a pink mark, and the little speck of mole that I missed. I plan to use the paste again to get rid of the speck.

Garlic

I was skeptical in trying the methods, but I took a chance and used the garlic remedy. I only applied it for a couple of hours and took it off. I burned the moles that I have and it also gave me a scar on my face. But it removed the moles on my shoulder and also on my forehead. I still have a mole on my face but it seems to be shrinking and I'm content with it. If anyone tends to try the garlic on their face, please make sure you apply it on the mole and not have the garlic touch your face. Thanks for the remedy, Im satisfied with the results.

I tried the Bloodroot Paste - I have many moles and I am very anti-doctor. I have been cursed with these moles since I was young. I read about Bloodroot & decided to give it a try. Well I started on one (to get a feel for the length of time & what to expect) I began at the beginning of Jan 2007 and on Jan 31,2007 that first mole just fell off!No bleeding -- nothing- it just simply fell off-WOW!! It is Feb 1ST &I am starting on #2 mole.. I did experience a small about of discomfort on the last day.. before it fell off- so I opted to do one at a time (some of mine are quite large) I am VERY pleased with the results!! And by the way-- this morning the spot where that first mole was.. is barely noticeable..

My mom had a 1 inch diameter mushroom like mole that would fester. she had it for over 30 years..at the side of her breast. when she was in her 70s she heard about garlic and started taking it to lower her high blood pressure, she would take 2-3 cloves every night ( chopped finely and tucked into her mouth like a pill, & swallowed it down with a glass of sweet drink.. ) after 6 months she realized that the mole started to dry up -no more festering- and after a year it started shrinking and simply flaked off bit by bit..after 2 years it completely dissapeared, todate it is only a dot left. completely cured what could have been cancerous ? she continues to take 3 cloves of garlic daily, to keep her blood pressure down, she is 84 years old, lives alone in a flat in Malaysia. she is very lucid and keeps abreast of CNN's daily news cast. due to garlic ? all reasons point in that direction.

I tried the Garlic and Apple Cider Vinegar remedy. It did not work!! it left a big big scar down the side of my face and the mole did not disappear. i suggest you use petroleum jelly around the skin (vaseline) if you wanted to do this remedy

Coconut Oil

Iodine

Iodine for flat moles

I have a flat black mole between my fingers. I used generic brand 2% iodine bought in Walmart for $3ish. I put 1 drop of iodine around 6-8 times a day, randomly. I did not cover the mole. I did poke & scratch the mole before applying the iodine. Which means poking & scratching 6-8 times a day. After 2 days the mole began to scab. After 4 days the scab began to peel. I stopped iodine at that point. I didn't think anymore iodine can penetrate through the scab. After 10 days, the scab has completely peeled off but some of mole remained. Will have to do this again to completely remove the mole.

Pro: iodine method works.

Con: it takes time and effort. Also, the skin around the mole where the iodine spread became dry and discolored. See pics. I suspect with time, it will revert back to normal skin. This method will not be good for the face.

I used black salve on moles and it worked fine but unfortunately, I added vitamin E with other oils & additives, in the holes that the salve made in order to prevent scarring. Now I have perma elevated welts (that look like bug bites) & black salve doesn't work on this (it pushes them down then they come back up). Any thoughts on what I can do?

Thuja

Why doesn't anyone have written about thuja oil for moles? I have put it on a mole (or better skin tag) about the size of a corn's kernel for months but failed. The reason was that the essential oil just vapours in the air if not covered. The day I put thuja with cotton and taped it for 12 hours the process started immediately. It' a cells destruction proces so the first two or three days it can become bigger from inflammation and secret a little pus. The following days it will wither drammaticaly. Some scar must be removed the first days. In about 10 days I got rid of this huge mole without pain. It didn't cut from the root just flattened completely while withering. The days following the first day I put cotton only for about 2,5 hours and not 12 hours in order not to burn too much surrounding tissue.

Smaller tags can vanish in one or two day of application.

Garlic, Castor Oil, Baking Soda

I have numerous flat moles on my face. Then I crush a garlic into paste, and applied them on my moles making sure they fit perfectly on my moles.(My moles are all flat moles by the way, with diameter about 0.3 cm ) . Then I put on bandages on them. I waited for 3 hours approximately and yes, I could feel a bit of pain at those moles(Well, at least I know it is working on my moles) . I took them off before going to bed at night , I applied baking soda and castor oil on the moles. The next morning when woke up , I took off my moles using a hair clip . It hurts a bit but it worked! . The moles were removed leaving a scar. After removing the moles , I applied coconut oil and turmeric , the scar is then removed a few days later. It actually depends how many times you applied them in a day. The more frequent you apply them, the faster the scar heals. :)
