Hi,
I am writing to report a successful attempt at removing an unsightly flesh colored mole I had on my scalp. I had had the mole checked out and was told it was non cancerous, and left it be for many years but as I have become more knowledgeable about natural methods, I wanted to try removing it myself. It took almost 3 weeks from start to finish, cost me literally under $5, and left no scar or sign that anything was ever abnormal.
I began the process by first using a nail file to rough it up a little, then after showering I would take an ACV soaked cotton ball and place it on my head. My arm would get tired of holding it in place so I used a bandage wrap to wrap around my head and secure the cotton in place... I looked funny. I would leave it on for ~30 min at a time, and in the mornings when my hair was dry, I would apply a essential oil mix of- clove, tea tree and cinnamon.
After a little over a week the mole became very dry and hard, and by week 2 it was almost black in color. I could feel the edges start to separate from my scalp.
The best thing was that it did not irritate any part of my scalp.. there was no affect to anything except the mole.
I would say the mole was a little smaller than a pencil eraser and had no nerve endings in it.

I have a big round mole, 3d shaped, on my face kinda like Enrique Iglesias had it, anyways I'm starting the garlic process, I already put garlic on the mole in the afternoon (yesterday) (I didn't cover the surrounding skin around the mole) and it burned my skin and made a big rash, I noticed the mole bigger and darker. I wasn't sure if to keep going or stop the process, I felt it dry later in the afternoon and thought "maybe I should keep going and dry it up till it falls" so I did my second time and left it for 4 hours then I took the cotton ball off and peeled the skin and part of the mole came off, now I'm been bleeding for 10 hours and have not stopped, seriously Iv'ed wasted 2 rolls of paper. I'm scared and don't know what to do.
Guys its a joke, it is bleeding but light, now I have garlic on it again, we see how it goes. Stay safe and be safe.

I tried thrice the garlic therapy continuously on one mole. It dried up each time perfectly but when it came out the mole still is intact. It is as if one layer at a time it is coming out. What do I do? Thrice means three layers must have come out but still there's no difference to the mole.. How many more times should I apply it?? Or should I stop?? What am I doing wrong?

I tried to remove a mole using garlic, the mole is half the size it was before and is very dry and hard. The skin around it has become red and inflammed. I decided to stop the garlic treatment. Is there anyway I can reduce the redness?

I'd really like to understand if it's safe to use Lugols 15% on moles? After reading up here I did try to apply on a cotton bud but found it almost impossible to get the stuff out of the bottle! Also, someone said to use Vaseline around the surrounding area but that made it impossible for the iodine to "stick" at all. In the end, I had to try to get some on my finger and dab directly but that resulted in iodine touching a lot of surrounding skin. Would really appreciate more detail on how to use the stuff and whether 15% lugols is okay (undiluted) every day. It did not sting at all BTW. Want to use daily on foot moles and raised breast moles and breast mass. Please help someone - need more guidance to get this right.

I pierced a mole and then put a fresh piece of cut garlic on the mole, and secured it with a cotton taped to keep it in place. Did it for 2 days and the mole dried up and fell off. I have successfully done this twice.

Well I wish I googled "garlic burned my face" first before trying this remedy. Actually it's not some kind of garlic miracle that removes moles, just dilute sulfuric (battery) acid from garlic. It can cause up to 3rd degree burns. So after leaving crushed garlic right on the mole overnight, I woke up shocked to notice the 2nd degree burn as a large circle around mole on my face. There was blood and yellowish liquid coming off. Pigmented layer was burnt of the mole but it still appeared rised. Since I had coconut oil, vitamin E at home, I tried these for 2 days without improvement. Luckily then I found that cream Bepanthen from pharmacy will help heal these type of burns within week. With cream, the burned skin AND the MOLE were healed in 4 days.

My fiance had a raised mole on her arm since birth. She is 43 now and I used apple cider vinegar and hydrogen peroxide on it for five days and it fell off. I had her rough up the surface of the mole with a nail file and then applied the Apple Cider Vinegar and then about the third day just used hydrogen peroxide. She checked it today and was shocked to see it gone. I keeped the vinegar and peroxide on it until it started to sting so I knew it was taking effect. The perimeter of the mole was affected some and is a little rough but the skin underneath is pink. you can email me if you want to see a photo.

I recently bought a bottle of cellfood at my local health food store. I researched the uses and one of the things that they said it did was to remove moles, warts, etc. So after washing my face, I cut off the end of a q-tip and dipped the end in a drop of cellfood. I applied it directly to the moles that I had on my face. Just barely touching the mole with the cellfood, I did this several times during the evening. You have to be very careful as it can burn the surrounding tissue. It blows my mind that this morning two of my moles are gone and after another application tonight, I'm sure the other two will be gone by tomorrow morning. I removed one mole using the ACV method and it took several nights to remove and longer to heal, but this process was amazing. It is also great for burns and small cuts. BUT, there is some burning involved..... Nothing that cannot be tolerated... More like an irritation. I know this is not a cheap product, but what it can do is worth it.

Cellfood is not a peroxide. According to the research, it has amino acids, vitamins and oxygen.... The oxygen content is what I believe removed my moles. It's now in the healing process, but the moles are gone.

Thanks, Suem! I used Cellfood and after about a week of applying regularly, the mole on my face and two on my arm have all peeled easily off.. Amazing! Now, I'm working on healing the skin around and underneath (using MSM cream and coconut oil -- usually w/ a drop or two of an essential oil (tea tree or lavindin for the anti-fungal properties or sea buckthorn for the skin nourishing properties)).. Hopefully they heal beautifully..

Bloodroot, grown often as an ornamental in gardens has proven to be an amazing remedy for the removal of facial moles!!! I had on, dark brown mole on my chin that grew darker and larger over the years. I stumbled upon this remedy and decided to try it. Absolutely amazing! The pulverized root mixed with a little cayenne pepper and a drop of grapefuit seed extract was applied to the lightly scratched surface of the mole. This was covered with a bandaid and left overnight. In the morning I applied a hot compress for 1 minute. Then the bandaid was removed. A scab had formed over the surface of the mole. I applied an antibiotic ointment over this. It is important to let the scab fall of in it's own time! After three (!) days the scab fell off and my mole I had lived with for 15 years is COMPLETELY gone!!!

I have some tiny mole on my face - about six. I treated it with castor oil and baking soda only one of the mole got irritated and there was redness and swelling around the rest but the one that got irritated got dried and shrink but the other continued to swell my skin I used this method twice should I stop?

My regular physician didn't even charge me for a mole removal. She applied a little liquid nitrogen and froze it. In a week, it just fell off. Ask your doctor if they will do that for you because it doesn't have to cost hundreds of dollars.

Hi I had a mole frozen off with liquid nitrogen about 5 years ago and guess what, it grew back and I'm going to try the HP method. So far I started just today applying it only to the mole area and cleaning up any extra around the supporting skin. It is about the size of an eraser but more oval in shape. It is turning white after the HP is applied and it stings for several minutes.

I've used tea tree oil directly on moles. It takes awhile but the brown disappears and the mole does shrink.

I didn't believe a single word of garlic..cause I thought it was the same things people listen and say without trying it. I decided to give it a try.
I had two moles(flat) by birth with a diameter of almost .05 and two other moles which were not there by birth. I decided to try on all four of them. I squashed a garlic with a kitchen rols and put a small piece of it on each mole and covered it with a scotch tape..since I didn't have a band aid or medical tape. I slept with it, and next morning my cheek was burnt on the skin where garlic had touched it. The mole had given out some sort of liquid too. I cleaned it and applied garlic again in the day and kept it on. I did the same at night. Next morning I looked worse then ever, it seemed as if I was scarred for life, so at day I gave it a break..I even peeled a bit of mole with tweezer but it hurt like hell so I left it alone. The third day I didn't apply garlic. However at night I applied garlic, this time I applied vasline to skin around the mole. Next day(fourth day) I didn't apply garlic. I took a bath and peeled off some of the moles. There was still some part of mole left clinging to skin. However when it dried up by next day, I just peeled it off. Todays the sixth day, by burns are almost gone and so are the moles, IT IS AMAZING. I couldn't believe it. It actually worked, Thanks to Earth clinic. And YAY for garlic. I'm glad. :)

At first I tried the ACV remedy. I put ACV on a cottonball and applied it on the side of my face were the mole were. I then put a bandaid over to cover it overnight. I am guessing ACV was too strong for my skin because it burned that section of my face I waited a week until the scarring disappeared. Of course I felt dumb because I scarred my face on my own. I had four noticeable moles and a burn mark from the acid on ACV. After everything went back to normal I tried Peroxide volume 40 the one people used for hair. In 2 weeks GONE. no scar no problem. I would take a q tip and keep pressin on the mole. Yes it stings and yes it gets sore. What I noticed with the peroxide was that no scarring and no issues. The mole started to get dry it turned dark and fell off. I am going to try it on the moles that are close to my skin it will probably work the same. Wish me luck YEEEE!!

Hi guys. I started the garlic procedure to remove a raised mole on my forearm. I've warn long sleeves for forever because of how much I hated it. About a month ago I heard about this remedy, so I tried it & after about 4 days I wasn't seeing any results besides half of the mole was a bit lighter. I stopped the experiment, & after a few weeks, I decided to try 1 more time so I started 2 days ago, this is my 3rd day now & I definetely see results ! I really think its going to work. The 1st time I tried this remedy I was putting too big of a piece on the mole, about 4 times the sixe of it, which was just damaging the sin around the mole. Now I've been only cutting a small piece to fit the mole perfectly. I've heard you should scratch at the mole just a little bit w a knife or something, not hard, so thats what I did this time [only the 1st time u apply the garlic, not everytime, just once for the whole experiment], so i washed the area 1st, scratched the mole up a tiny bit, cut the clove up, with the knife I rubbed the juice from the garlic onto my mole, I started to feel a tingling because I scratched at it, then wet a napkin & cleaned up any juice around the mole on my skin, apply the garlic piece & put a bandaid on. I go to work & 11 hours later take the bandage off & wash it & do the whole thing over w a fresh bandaid and piece of garlic. I have been using a whole new clove for each application. It is a big waste of garlic since I only use a tiny piece of it, but the cloves dry out quickly, even in a ziplock bag, so I just get a new 1. They are very cheap anyways. Now, my 3rd day, my mole is raised quite a bit more & its a bubble that I want to pop so badly ! There are a couple tiny bubbles on my skin around the mole, but from now on I am going to apply vaseline on my skin surrounding the mole to protect the skin. I will keep u guys updated !

I used the bloodroot salve almost three weeks ago. I only used a little bit on four small moles, probably the size of a pin head and covered the area with a bandaid. The next morning I had redenss and swelling under my eyes and scabs where the moles were. It looked like I was in a fight! I called the company and was very frustrated. The guy told me that the reaction was normal, and that it would heal. Within the next two days the scab came off of one which is healed, but light in color. On the left side of my face was the bigger mole. It was a little bigger than a pin head, but once the mole fell off the area was bigger.That area has also healed, but is white in color with some darkness around the circled area. Once again I contacted the company and the guy stated that the skin would repigment over time. The problem that I am experiencing now is on my left cheek where I removed three small moles. My excema has flared up, which is making my skin look terrible. I am trying to be patient with this process but it is very frustating. I would not advise using the cream on your face.

I tried bloodroot bought off ebay last autum (2007) I do like herbal alternate remedies and was quite excited when reading about bloodroot. Looking at my moles for years (and being vain) I rejoiced at the possibility of having them vanish in an easy and scarless fashion (as proclaimed) Got a bit carried away though and decided to eradicate all about 30-40 off them on front and back of torso at once. Thought if they do take a few weeks to heal and might be unseemly in the mean time (plus I won't be able to use the sunbed to avoid pigment scarring) it would be better to do them all at once, rather than one after the other (which would have taken month and month...) The result was major discomfort - after 2-3 applications my body seemed to turn into a sea of skin irritaion and itching!!! It really did drive me up the wall and since there was no position in which I could lie painless and itchfree (forget Paracetamol - won't help a bit), I did not really sleep for 2 weeks.
Now for the benefit of the procedure. Some moles fell off pretty soon (especially the more raised ones) and have vanished hence. Mostly though - especially the smaller ones were still there when the scabs came off and I still have slight reddening around them. For the bigger flat ones - one fell off (with about 5mm of underneath skin tissue leaving a 8mm itching crater in the skin - took about another 10 days to close up and the result is a reddish smoth round scar as big as the mole there used to be. Several other bigger moles did prevail as well and are now suspiciouse looking, i.e. they are now multicoloured and less regular shaped. It does also seem a bit as if I have a few more tiny moles in vicinity to where treated mole on my abdomen. (cannot swear on that though). The post-bloodroot look of the multicolored moles did get me worried and my GP had two biopsised. Fortunately the biopsies were benign. They will still cut them both out completly to make sure though(ergo in the end the bloodroot did help me get rid of two more big moles, by causing the NHS to pay for their excision). If someone were to ask me - don't use bloodroot for the heck of it. Make sure that the moles you treat are really draining your self worth and not just little beauty spots. Consider the options - when I had the biopsis done the process was much more 'comfortable' that the bloodroot procedure, it did not hurt, did not itch and left less scarring yet.

I tried this on a medium sized-mole (maybe 5 mm in diameter). The mole was raised a little. What I did was apply HP until it turned white and raised some more, then I tied a thread around it tightly and covered it with a bandaid. It seemed to be okay after a while, but after day 2 I had to remove the string because the area was getting red and inflamed, and hurting so badly I had a headache and was beginning to get nauseous. A few days later the area is still very red, tender, and painful.
Maybe it was because I used HP first, but I think this method is probably far more painful that simply applying iodine (which I am trying on other moles with no pain so far). I would not reccomend this method.
