I felt terrible for two days...on the second day I woke up and I was hoarse. I gargled with unfiltered apple cider vinegar and kept it in my mouth as long as I could stand it, then I gagged and spit it out! I said outloud" man, that taste was terrible! " but I then realized my hoarseness was gone and felt much better-especially after brushing my teeth. It is great for sore throats also.

Last week I had a sinus infection which led to laryngitis. Sinus infections are always miserable, and it was even worse because I couldnt even speak and I had an audition (singing) just a few days ago. Determined to be well by the time my audition rolled around, I drank a few glasses of hot tea a day (typically Earl Grey) with lemon, honey, and cinnamon- this was mostly for temporary relief of congestion. Between the tea I would drink water or some juice with vitamin C. And of course I also had a little ACV every morning. These things combined with rest, lots of coughing, and saying out loud "This is making me feel better" after every glass got my voice back (and my head clear) in 3 days, just in time for my audition. [I did even better than I thought, in case you were wondering ;)]. ACV and a positive attitude will do right by you every time.
