Astragalus Root: I was hoping this plant would help me out as I seem to develope allergic reactions so easily to pollen and whatever in the atmosphere. I took 1,350 mg (weight) astragalus capsule from well known brand and I have been now for unwell 3 days! Upset my digestive system totally and I feel very strange. I have read that this reaction is very rare; for me it was almost immediate. Can anyone tell me how I might take this powdered root without invoking the upset stomach. Have to say that I don't really want to touch it again!
