[SIDE EFFECTS]  09/21/2010: Manjeet from Webster, New York, Usa: "I have been using H2O2 inhalation method using spray bottle for a week now. I take 4-5 sprays 3-4 times a day directly to my throat while inhaling. I use 12% FGHP diluted to 3% with one part colloidal silver (10ppm). Recently I started feeling really dry throat all the time. Any idea if H2O2 is causing the dry throat symptom?"

08/28/2010: Jen from Dawson Creek , British Columbia, Canada : "Greetings, My husband and I have been inhaling H2o2 for almost a year, ( preferring inhalation to ingesting it). We both feel great and are rarely ill. I have noticed in this time that we both have a very strong (bad smelling) body odor. I have noticed a change in my sense of smell and taste. I find that certain foods are impossible for me to eat because they taste too strong ie turnips and the smell of tomato plants. Do you have any suggestions as to what we can do to change our body odor issues as we are both seeing and feeling so many of the benefits associated with the taking of hydrogen peroxide? Thank you for you reply"

[SIDE EFFECTS]  05/21/2009: Luis from Cali, Colombia: "I began taking HP by the inhalation method (mouth sprinkling), one shot first day and then I increased one more per day until completing 10 shots one time, at 10th day. Then, the following 5 days I changed to 10 shots in the morning, and 5 shots in the afternoon. At 16th day I began to experience deep dreams and difficulty to awake, but besides diurnal drowsiness and fatigue, which affected my productivity a lot, therefore I wanted to be in bed (I work at home). Is a sensation similar to hangover. This sensation was prolonged for 5 days more until I had to stop. Today I have not inhaled the product and I returned to normality. I wanted to experience HP before giving the remedy to my mom, who really needs it.

Now I don't know what to do. Please, someone has experienced the same thing? How did you resolve this issue?

I should say that before the hangover I felt great.

Thank you folks and Earth Clinic."

[SIDE EFFECTS]  03/13/2009: Richard from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada: "Have a QUESTION... If doing the inhaling with 3% hydogen peroxide I notice a white thick film developing on my tongue. Easy to spit out but is that normal. Also I am using food grade hydogen peroxide diluted to 3% by using 40ml of the 35% and adding diluted water to make up 500ml. How safe is that?"

[SIDE EFFECTS]  02/03/2009: TY from Poughkeepsie, NY: "Hello Ted,

My first experience with hydro peroxide was very scary, with a strange side effect. I used 35% FG-HP dilluted to 3% as I have read about. Then mixed 1 drop in a clean 4oz nasal sprayer with 4oz of distilled water.

I then ingested, (inhaled) two fine mist sprays by mouth. About 10 seconds after injesting I felt a very strange "hot rush like feeling" and my heart beat increased to a intense exercise level.

I felt very light headed & dizzy. However, my heart rate did slow down after a few minutes and I was fine except, my head and ears were very warm as if I had a fever...

My first though was that maybe I used too much for the first time.

The next day, I mixed one TLB spoon of the 3% in 32oz of the distilled water.

I took just three small sips, and the very same thing happened just not as intense..

I'm too scared to try it again. My question is: Do you know what is happening and why HP effects me this way?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you."

02/04/2009: Bill Munro replies: "Diluting 35% is a tricky business. You might have made too strong of a solution. This is why I tell people to buy the 3% from the drugstore and use that. It is easier, simpler and you never have to worry about the concentration. Please send me an email with your phone number and I will call you."
[YEA]  02/15/2009: Dave from Trenton, MI USA replies: "Hello i have tried out this about 5 months ago and i got 3 colds in a row before that,so i was on the net looking for ways to stop cold,s and came to this site somehow but glad i found it anyways i have been doing it for 5 months now and i have never breathed better and my nose is clear 24 hours a day and this is no lie. Also i have used 3% from drug stores and also have the Food Grade 35% which you delute it to 3% one once to 12 ounces of good water , or you put 35% in a blue glass eyedropper type bottle and there is a table to go by and its like this : take 3 drops put it in a 12oz glass of water 3 times a day then every day after add one more drop till you get to 25 drops then reverse it till you get back to 3 drops and stay at 3 drops a day 3 times a day. But spray pump works great also so its up to you how you want to use it."
02/17/2009: Dave from Trenton, MI replies: "Hello, Dave again here... if you have dry skin on your face from wind or what ever, put some 3% drug store HP in a spray bottle and when your in the shower spray your face real good and let it set a few minutes, make sure you keep your eyes closed, and it may burn a little at first but let it stay and then rinse it off and keep doing it at every shower and your face will be real smooth after the first time. dave"
02/20/2009: Dave from Trenton, MI replies: "Hello again i forgot to say when you spay your face in shower and let it sit for a few minutes take your finger nails and scrap your face all over and watch the dead skin come off and then rub your face with a wash rag then rinse it and repeat if you want and then do it every time you shower and that will make your face skin like new and smooth. Dave"
02/22/2009: Sara from Calgary, Canada replies: "same thing occurd with me, and i was told i had to start with a minuscule amount and slowly build to a maximum amount of i think it was 30 drops in 16oz of water a day. but you had to start with 1 drop in that amount of water and daily add a drop until you reach the maximum. i'm not sure about that 30 drops so if you search around the site i think you will come up with the right number.

[SIDE EFFECTS]  10/23/2006: Daniel from Chicago, IL: "Bill's inhalation method turned my tongue yellowy green for more than two weeks though. I only did it for about two weeks and then saw that my tongue was yellowy green. This lasted for about two and a half weeks and freaked me out. I put lemon juice in my water and I think that helped get rid of it. I just want readers to know that this is a risk. However, I am going to try the other method - ingesting the 35% food grade H202. I will let you know how I get on. Danny. If anybody wants to talk to me about this, Bill has my phone number."

SINUS ISSUES

12/30/2008: Keri from Parkville, MD: "I am so interested in trying the inhalation method of peroxide therapy. I have suffered from chronic sinus problems for years. My left ear has been plugged for over two years now. The older I get, the more congestion I have in my lungs, even though I have never been a smoker. How exactly do I inhale this? Do you spray on the tongue and then breathe in or do you breathe in at the same time you spray in mouth (like you would an asthma inhaler)?

I am also wondering if there is any danger of this therapy while on prescription medications. I take Tramadol almost daily due to the headaches from sinus problems. I am hopeful that H2O2 will take care of my problems and that I will be off this med ASAP.

Thanks...so grateful to have found this site!!

12/31/2008: Dianna from Austin, Tx replies: "hi - i just wanted to ask if you have ever tried the sea salt and water remedy? you add sea salt (i think 1 teaspoon per cup of water - you can look up the exact measurement on-line - i just do it by feel) and hold one nostril and snort the water mix into your sinuses and it will come out your mouth. do this several times with both nostrils. they sell neti pots for this at health food stores - or you can use a baby ear cleaning bulb syringe - but i always just use a bowl. this should clean all the crud out of your sinuses so that good bacteria can be there instead of the bad. i've also heard that people had luck adding baking soda or apple cider vinegar to the mixture.

also garlic minced and a few drops of water added (take the clear liquid) and snort it works to heal sinus infections - but it does hurt for a moment. the sea salt mixture does not hurt."
[YEA]  01/02/2009: ROBERT HENRY from TEN MILE, TN. replies: "You are on the right track. At 72, I have had sinus problems for a number of years until I began to do the things recommended on this site a few years ago. I have developed my own regimen which keeps my breathing open both night and day. I do Bill's hydrogen peroxide thing at daylight and dark. I also mix a nasal spray of 1/4 tsp of sea salt , 1/4 tsp of baking soda and 5 drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract into 1/4 cup of distilled water. I spray this into my nostrials when I do the hp.

I then clean the mucus out as best I can. I no longer have to breath through my mouth and my headach's are gone. GSE is a natural fungicide and is used to kill black mold in homes that are deemed uninhabitable. It will do in lots of bad stuff.

We have a berry farm and use it on all our picked berries to prevent deterioration. Most sales folks spray it in their motel rooms before spending the night. As Hulda Clark says in her books.....mold, fungus and parisites are the root cause of most illiness'."
01/02/2009: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "Hi Keri, you need to go read Bill's instructions, but yes, you spray the H202 toward the back of your throat as you inhale - the same as with asthma inhalants."
01/05/2009: Howard from Newcastle, Australia replies: "Spraying H202 into the lungs will certainly help with relief of congestion but for sinus problems it is probably better to use 3 percent H202 broken down 50percent with water and ,using a nose dropper introduce 4/5 drops directly into each nostril.Do this by laying on a couch or bed with your head hanging over the side. It will sting somewhat (no use lying )but will be worth it in the long run.Depending on the severity of the blockage do this twice daily for 2 days once daily for 3 days. Of course back off or stop if you get full relief at an earlier stage.Best of good luck and happy New Year

Howard"

QUESTIONS

02/18/2012: David from London, England: "Hello EC, Can anybody help please? I inhaled too much 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide using a facial sauna (I know someone who uses HP this way). This was 8 days ago & at first the top of my lungs started to feel like they were burning. I still have an ache (on & off) at the top of my right lung despite regular tap water steam facial saunas, exercise & drinking water to try to ease the effects. I had to visit the local hospital at first & I have an appointment soon with a chest specialist. I stopped the HP as soon as I realised something was wrong. Is there anything else I can do to calm things down & to limit any possible damage?"

[BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS]  08/19/2009: Sumesh from Mumbai, India: "Hi -

I am a 36 year old male and suffer from chronic back problem (dull ache from nape of neck to lumbar region) for almost 16 years. Also during the last 4-5 years used develeop sore throat 3-4 times in year and had to use antibiotics. I also started getting frequent stomach infections which again had to be contolled using antibiotics

During last 2 years I have switched to more natural foods and cut down on processed foods and eating out in restaurants. I also started exercising regularly and since then I feel better....sore throats have become less intense and more manageable...haven't had a stomach infection in 2 years now and back also feels better and stronger. However I am not completely cured, there's still some muscular pain in the entire back region and my body still feels tired . I still get sore throat...the last one being about 3 weeks back.

So I first tried drinking h202 3-5 drops in 8oz of water for a week, but it caused acidity and I could n't eat properly ..so i discontinued it.Even 2 weeks after discontinuing intake of h202 the acidity continued. And by chance I started drinking a cupful of milk in morning and after about a weeks it cured the acidity .

Then i tried with nose inhaler, but it didn't work out since it not giving out a fine mist ( rather it worked like a spray bottle) and so I dicontinued it also. Then i read other posts on this site regarding using nebulizer.

I have started inhaling 3% ( 35% Food grade diluted to 3%-1 part h202 and 11 parts distilled water) hydrogen peroxide two days back using a nebulizer. Although generally i feel better- mind is more alert, breathing is deeper and i think i could work out better at the gym for last 2 days.

But there are two side effects that I have felt after taking h202 inhalations- 1) I have developed severe pharyngitis (sore throat and it hurts) and my voice has become hoarse and 2) I have noticed that my tongue has a yellowish coating.

I have some questions which I would request Mr Bill Munro to answer.

a) Could it be that there's some problem with quality of h202 that i am using or aree these symptoms signs of "healing crisis"?

b) should I continue taking h202 inhalations despite the sore throat or should i stop it for a day to two and then continue again?

c) Should I use a lower dilution for sometime instead of 3% dilution ?

Thank you in advance.

Warm Regards,
Sumesh, India"

[QUESTION]  07/26/2009: Mikeleekc from Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia: "I read with much interest on the Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation Method by Bill Munro and also all the reader responses to his method. I am just wondering whether can be adapted to use an ultrasonic nebulizer e.g. like those used for asthma, bronchitis conditions. Maybe breathing in the mist will be much easier and since the particles are smaller and more uniform, it will get to the lungs better. can anyone please share their experience/opinions on this."

Replies
09/22/2009: Michael from Honolulu, Hi replies: "Since a ultrasonic nebulizer simply vibrates the H2O2 solution into a mist, it will work. A machine that creates heat will affect the solution. My thoughts on this venture lead toward efficiency and practicality. The pump sprayer is fast, portable, and it works just fine. A ultrasonic nebulizer would be just a fancy and expensive way of achieving the same result."

QUESTION

09/15/2011: Shifa from Toronto, Ontario, Canada: "Hi Everyone: I am in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and would like to do the Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation Therapy as I am finding it very difficult to breath. In the last few months my hemoglobin level has fallen below 10, I have lost a lot of weight and I am getting extremely fatigued.

Can someone please tell me where to find this pump with a fine mist? I have a nasal salinex 30 ml bottle but that just spray lot of HP into my throat and find it difficult to use.

I have been to drug stores and walmart too but they do not have a reusable pump plastic container.

One post mentioned natural factors herbal throat spray. Is it easy to use and does it give out fine mist?

Also, I have to decide whether to use food grade peroxide or drug store peroxide without stablizers. I am at the moment using drug store peroxide which I have had for some years.

Thank you."

Bill Munro states that he uses regular store bought 3% HP.... Also what gets rid of my sore throat. Good luck."

09/15/2009: Jane from Austin, Tx: "Just wanted to let all who are having a hard time finding that perfect spray bottle to do the H202 inhalation properly. I was having a hard time with this, and came across an herbal throat remedy that I had on hand for my children. I emptied out the contents (almost empty anyways) and this is perfect for the inhalation method - it sprays a fine mist and is intended to be sprayed at the back of your throat. I found this at Whole Foods in Austin, TX but any health food store should carry an herbal throat spray. Hope this helps."

11/04/2010: Ron from Great Falls, Mt replies: "People that are using the nasal pump method - I would suggest to ask your doctor (or pharmacist) for a 'spacer' this is a plastic cylinder that one typically attaches a portable inhaler to. But for this purpose, you would spray the mist into the cylinder, then inhale the mist. The whole idea being that with the spacer, more of the mist will travel down into your lungs, rather than collect at the back of your throat. In Lieu of using a spacer, you could hold the sprayer *away* from your face and pump a few times into the open air, and then breath in (through your mouth) from the cloud-mist that you just sprayed. Just a thought. I've had many a nurse or technician say (for using an inhaler) that you *are not* supposed to put it directly in your mouth, exactly because the medicine ends up coating the back of your throat, instead of going into your lungs where it is intended."

[YEA]  02/21/2009: John from Bonham, Texas: "I looked all over for a nasal sprayer without any luck. I then went to the Wall-Mart drug department and purchased a small bottle of Saline nasal spray. I took it home, opened it, and pried the spray tip loose with a knife and pulled it off. I dumped the saline solution and rinsed the bottle out. I then filled it about half full of 3.18% peroxide I'd mixed and replaced the spray tip. I covered the bottle with a piece of thin black plastic to keep the light from going through the plastic spray bottle. (As you know, light and heat affects the strength of hydrogen peroxide) I mixed the solution using 1 oz. 35% food grade hydrogen proxide with 11 oz. of disilled water. This has worked wonderfully well for me. Oh, I keep the extra protion of the solution I've mixed in the refrigerator until I need a refill.
Best of health to everyone. John"

[QUESTION]  02/02/2009: Bill from St. Louis, MO, USA: "Question: Regarding Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation Therapy: I have had difficulty finding nasal spray pumps. They are not available at my local Drugstore Chain. No luck with internet search either. I have read many articles on Earthclinic which produced two suggestions: Nasonex (a prescription drug), and Nebulizers (which also requires a prescription). Would it be possible for the readers to suggest which particular Nasal Spray Pumps or Nasal Spray Meds I could buy to get the right Nasal Pump? Thanks to all, and how can we thank Ted enough? Bill in St. Louis"

[05/16/2008: Jay from Altoona, Florida] "Finally in desperation I bought a "Ocean Saline Nasal Sprayer Inhaler" --emptied out the contents --and replaced the saline with Hydrogen Peroxide 3% straight from the drug store shelf.I sprayed the H202 both in my throat and nose and relief was immediate. "

Also, ebay has some nasal inhalers that you can buy:

Please not that these would be shipped from China and I expect the shipping time would be six weeks or more."

A very good Nasal Pump is available in the U S A, called "NASALINE",
The Distributors are "SQUIP" Lebanon N J

Having had problems with Sinus for many years, this is the best purchase I ever made.

02/04/2009: Catherine from Seattle, Washington replies: "Bill, I am surprised you can't find nasal spray bottles in your local pharmacy. There are at least 10 choices at every grocery store and drugstore that I visit! Don't look for an empty one, you need to buy a saline or chemical solution for sinus and allergies and then empty the contents and sterilize it once you get home. Look for a nasal spray that uses a fine pump mist (printed on the bottle). Check the sinus and allergy section of any grocery store and I promise you will find a good number of choices. The bottle will cost anywhere from $4-$7. Remember to sterilize the bottle after you dump the contents with very hot water and soap, then fill it with your 3%."
02/18/2009: Tom from Fleet, Hants, UK replies: "Hi,i used the e-bay link provided by Jay for the Nasal Spray bottles. It took a total of sixteen days to come from China and all are working perfectly. Hope this helps as in UK most are sealed. Regards to all, Tom"
02/10/2010: Jaques from Brighton, England replies: "In England you can get small empty clear plastic fine sprays for around £1 from a high street chemist - and as we are not allowed to advertise, im sure you will recognise this B--TS

I have one in the bathroom to spray my mouth after cleaning my teeth, one in the bedroom for inhallation early morning and one in the kitchen for during the day........

btw, I use 3% as mouthwash, i find it fizzes up in the mouth, so rinse with water after - does anyone else find this?"
04/10/2010: Coregon from Medford, Or, Usa replies: "I had a great idea for Hydrogen Peroxide inhalers, if you don't want to use the nose spray bottles. I was looking online for fine mist spray bottles and came across a perfume atomizer..the kind used back in the 50's, glass with a tube and bulb (to squeeze to make mist come out). There are also modern glass perfume atomizers. I've found these at essential oil shops, and perfumeries, as well as on Amazon and Ebay. They produce a very fine mist, and are made of glass. The only thing to keep in mind is it would be better to buy a tinted glass (they sell dark blue) rather than clear, since peroxide should not be exposed to light. The average price for a small bottle is about $2.50. (Note: Because the contents will be going into your lungs, you would not want to use an old perfume bottle, even if washed, it retains residual perfume)."
