[YEA] 03/15/2007: Ryan from San Francisco, CA writes: "First off, I've got to tell you that I tried a certain brand of all natural remedy from a website and all it did was burn my skin and cause major irritation, discomfort and bleeding. I also tried the banana peel wrap, the Castor oil & baking soda paste as well as applying household bleach with a cotton swab. The best thing that worked for me was to first vigourously apply bleach with a cotton swab to all warts and then let the bleach dry for a couple of minutes. Once dry, vigourously apply raw apple cidar vinegar with a cotton swab until you have removed all of the superficial/dead skin tissue and you can only see the warts in their plain shape. Repeat this three times daily. They'll be completely gone within about 10 days."

[YEA] 06/04/2007: Mandy from St. Paul, Minnesota writes: "This really isn't a home remedy but after 5 years of having planters warts my mom took me to the dermetologis and she put blister beetle juice on my warts. I saw her every three weeks. After three visits even the most stubborn wart which was about a half inch big was gone. I know it's not a home remedy but you can buy blister beetle juice off-line. Trust me, I never thought I'd get rid of my warts and I did! Try it if nothing else works. Good luck!"

[YEA] 08/24/2007: Jeff (jtjtackgal220@hotmail.com) from Wichita, Kansas writes: "This is regarding Bloodroot. I have made and have used a blood root past also know as black salve. A doctor that I have worked with now uses this almost exclusively to treat warts. I have never seen it not work. Here is the recipe:
1/2 cup powdered Blood Root (Sanguinaria Canadensis)
1/2 cup Zinc Chloride, crystals or liquid
1/2 cup common white flour
1 1/2 cup warm water
100ml Chaparral extract or 100gm of powdered Chaparral (Larrea mexicana)
Pre-mix all but the water, thoroughly, before adding to the water. Using a stainless steel double boiler. Put in water, then stir in the other ingredients. Stir in well using a wooden spoon. Cook for thirty minutes over boiling water, stirring constantly. Application is much the same as cansema. Apply a thin layer (2-3mm) of the paste over the affected area and cover for 24 hours. Then remove the covering but do not disturb the lesion at all, do not attempt to pull the cancer out at any time, it should fall out in 10 days or so. Some people with sensitive skin put Vaseline or antibiotic ointment around the cancer so that the paste does not irritate the skin."
07/21/2008: Char from Jarrow, UK replies: "The cure previously mentioned about bloodroot paste says that warts are a cancer. This is untrue. I hope this clears up any problems, as saying they are can cause confusion and worry."
07/22/2008: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "To Char from Jarow: Hello Char, thought I'd warn you that you could get a lot of people to debate the issue with you. I agree with you that warts are not cancer, but are caused by a virus. The old folks used to tell us kids that frogs cause the warts. Later the general concensus seemed to change to state that the warts were caused by a virus, but the frogs harbored the virus. But the reason you could get into a heated debate on this issue is, that many cancers today are thought to follow having a viral infection. That said, I also will state that I have no doubt that black salve (bloodroot salve) will remove warts since it did such a fine job of removing actinic kertatosis on my back which is currently thought to be caused by too much sun exposure and a precursor to skin cancer. However, should I get any more warts, I will try the inner lining of the banana peel that EC sharers say works so well. It is much cheaper than black salve. However if the FDA succeeds in passing their little sneaky law that they tried to push through without anyone knowing about it, the CODEX law which would make all vitamins, minerals, herbals and supplements drugs and under the control of FDA and AMA and doctors which would put them out of reach without a prescription and a trip to the doctor for that prescription and that would mean $5-$l00 dollars to the doctor and probably that much or more for the newly declared drug that you wanted. Go to Mike Adams site Natural News to read more about this - also to Natural Sources or Health Freedom sites. Dr. Laibow has some interesting comments about CODEX!! This is the 3rd attempt that I can recall for the AMA trying to gain control over these things, which tells me that if they didn't work so well and so much safer than big Pharm's dangerous, expensive drugs, they wouldn't be trying so hard. They don't like losing money because you now have a choice. That may change very shortly unless more users join the battle against the FDA's action."

[YEA] 09/05/2008: Melanie from Brownsburg, Indiana writes: "i discovered coconut oil about 4 yrs ago and was using it for seborhea, and for dry patches of skin. I rubbed it into my cuticles each night, and on day 6, i realized the wart that had been on my finger for a few years was totally GONE! It had to be the oil, because i was not using a wart remover. Also, i have found that coconut oil helps heal my seborhea patches quickly, whereas medicines did not."

[YEA] 05/10/2007: Ashley from Baltimore, MD writes: "Virgin coconut oil cured my plantar warts. I had some plantar warts on my foot for about a year, then I started rubbing coconut oil on my feet to help soften the skin and make walking more comfortable. After about 2 months of this, I was just starting to think of going to the doctor to have them removed (with much dread) when I noticed that the warts had shrunk. Then about 1-2 weeks later, the dead skin just peeled off like a callous, revealing soft healthy skin underneath. It wasn't an overnight cure, but the time was a small price to pay for not having them dug out! I know they were warts because they had the little black spots in them, they hurt or bled if scraped, and a couple of small ones had appeared elsewhere on my foot. I also use coconut oil in food preparation on a regular basis, as well as topically on all areas of the skin."

CORN REMOVER FOR PLANTAR'S WARTS
[YEA] 04/01/2006: Caleb from New York, NY writes: "Commercial corn removers are not made for plantar warts, of course, but here's what happened when I had a plantar wart several years ago. It was very painful to walk on, and I couldn't cut right into the wart because it was tender, so I applied corn remover (a little brown irritating pellet covered by a bandage -- they are sold commercially). The corn remover caused the surface of the wart to die (it took a day or two), and I would end up with a thick layer of dead skin which I could trim away with cuticle nippers. When the wart grew back, I would apply the irritating medication again and trim it again. With most of the wart trimmed away, it didn't hurt when I walked on it. Then one day I trimmed particularly deeply (though I experienced no bleeding or pain), and apparently I trimmed away the "core" of the wart (each wart has a core where the infection subsides and generates the growing skin that forms the wart). After that, the skin just healed and went back to normal. When applying the irritating pellet to the wart, you have to be careful not to put it on the healthy skin around the wart. This technique shouldn't be tried with normal warts on other parts of the body."

[YEA] 01/25/2008: Denise from Torrington, ct writes: "My 12 year old son had a huge planters wart on the sole of his foot. His Dr. recommended duct tape. Every night I put new tape on. Just on the wart. Every night when I took off the tape he would dig out the dead skin. one week later the huge wart was gone. He had a big hole which healed up nicely. ONE WEEK! PRETTY COOL! I guess the tape cuts off the air supply to the wart and it dies."

[YEA] 06/05/2006: Brenden from Calgary, Alberta, Canada writes: "I'm not sure if this is a 100% natural remedy, but I figured since it worked for me I thought you guys might be able to post something like it on your website, so that others may benefit from it healing properties. It's called Duct Tape, LOL Yes that's right... it's the stuff used when you need to fix a seal or to keep cords in place from others tripping over. May not sound like it's of much use, but I have found it to work wonders! One of which is Warts! Ever since I was little I somehow seemed to pick up warts very easily, especially when I'm going barefoot in the locker rooms or at the swimming pool. I was getting fed up with the expensive over-the-counter topical remedies to so to say "Kill Off" or "Burn Out" the wart(s). And after going to the doctor's over and over, with the freezing methods that may require a second or third visit depending on the severity of the fungus, I began my search for something that would both be effective and inexpensive. I looked no further than the kitchen cupboard. By placing a piece of duct tape over the affected area(s) it from what I've gathered "Irritates the wart", which in turn causes your immune system to respond. I have as well as my younger sister have both tried this with outstanding results. I can honestly say that if you keep it covered with duct tape the wart(s) will be gone in as little as a couple of weeks. I figured since I've had such dramatic results from this, others may benefit from it as well. I hope that by my experience you will be able to share this among the other readers of this website. Thanks!"

[YEA] 04/24/2007: Dustin (dustyre@gmail.com) from Muskegon, Michigan writes: "I have had quite a few warts throughout my life and have undergone the carious methods of removing them (freezing at the doctor's office, freezing at home, the acid drops, the acid band aids etc..) I have even gone to the extent of taking a wood burner and frying off one that was stubborn, but I finally got one that would not sucomb to any of these methods. I met a kid at a car detailing joint in Florida that told me Epsom salt cured all his warts so i figured I would give it a try. By this time this wart had gotten significantly bigger. It was now the size of a dime on the inside palm of my right hand. It was painful to do anything because it would split open and crack. heres the method I used. I bought a pint of Epsom salt which is very cheap and a paper nail file and a water dropper. I filed off all the dead skin so I could get to the seeds of the wart (just where it started to get sensitive and bleed a little bit) I would then take some of the epsom salt crystals and lay them on the wart. Take some warm water and use the dropper to apply to the salt crystals. The crystals dilute in the water and soak into the wart. After I let it soak for a few minutes I would clean up and leave a few crystals on the wart with a band aid over them to hold them in place. After only a few days doing this once a day I noticed it turning black like a scab sort of. Then I quit treatment shortly after that and it healed up perfectly no scar like the one I fried off with the wood burner and worked so quickly and cheaply. I thought about marketing this solution but after finding this site I figure it is good for people to know. As for the person with them on the bottom of their feet, perhaps you can sand the tops down and soak your feet in warm water with epsom salt diluted in it. Worth a shot. Good luck."

[YEA] 04/07/2007: Tim from Berkeley, California writes: "I had little warts on my hand for a few years and finally got sick of looking at them. After trying every alternative treatment that I could find I went to a dermatologist who told me that warts are caused by a virus which is usually fought off by a properly functioning immune system. After a few times of getting liquid nitrogen treatments to try to freeze them off with no luck, I read a book on cleansing and detoxifying and tried a couple of 24 hour water fasts, one per week on a Saturday. after the second fast I thought that I noticed a reduction in size of the warts so I did 2 more fast on the next 2 weekends. By the end of my 4th fast the warts were almost completely gone. I did not do any more fasting but my warts were completely gone in 2 more weeks."
05/30/2008: Martin from Sidney, Canada replies: "I had fasted for a week, two years ago, and found that my health and energy improved significantly. Recently I had to give up work because my eczema flared up after coming off long term steroid treatment. I came off the treatment because my doctor told me to take a bone scan due to the prolonged steroid treatment. The scan revealed I had osteoporosis, worst in my spine at -3.9, which is quite serious. Since coming off the steroids I have been prescribed other medications to help relieve my asthma and eczema but they were very expensive and not as effective as the 'many for pennies' steroids. I remembered my fast of 2 years ago and decided to give it another go. My health improved to the point where my asthma and eczema were virtually gone by day 6 of the fast. But, what I also realised that my three year old verrucas had gone! I had developed at least a dozen on my left foot and 3 on my right foot, possibly from walking barefoot at the swimming-pool. Three visits to the doctor to get them 'frozen' and limping home with blisters, and a couple of weeks of topical applications had failed. They were so bad that I had pain when walking, and they even wore out my woolen slippers and socks prematurely. My fast was: no food for 7 days, and I only drank tap-water and diluted apple juice. I have an appointment to see an allergist but there is a 3 month waiting list. Please, before fasting check with your doctor to see that it would be safe for you, and learn how to fast, and break your fast properly. Good luck. Martin (Sidney, BC, Canada)."

[YEA] Anonymous writes: "hi... my solution for wart is a copy of what is usually done by doctor. instead of using liquid nitrogen (difficult to obtain for me and you), I tried freezit. a pressurized can of a compound similar to what they put in refrigerator but sold for electronic repair. a transistor that is effective when hot can be located by freezing it. I put 5 cents worth of that stuff in a styrofoam cup and put a cotton swab in it and put that on the wart. In 10 sec it is white frozen, 1 minute later it looks normal, 1 week later it is black and you can peel it off. restart as necessary. beats garlic and duck tape believe me. I tried the doctor and his liquid nitrogen but I find they cotton swab to small and unable to provoke a deep freeze like a QTIP . So I have to go back and back and back.. freezit is 5$. By the way there is nothing like a site like yours to boost life quality."

[YEA] 05/24/2008: Siberianwolf from Omsk, Russia writes: "I did not know where to place this comment....I would like to tell you how I got rid of my warts after six years of suffering. I was in real despair. They were so unsightly all over my hands and I was frequently breaking down and crying and was so embarrassed to go shopping...yes. One day I went into our garden and picked up a garden snail and rubbed it over my warts then I went indoors to the bathroom and peed - yes you heard right!!- on them. I did this for three or four days several times a day and noticed a very dramatic effect. After 10 days or so they were completely gone with absolutely no scarring and never to return. How's that??!! And all at no cost and the snail did not have to die!"
05/25/2008: Sally from Birmingham, England replies: "I am not sure the snail had anything to do with curing your warts. It could be just the urine therapy on its own. I would not pick up a snail either, as in some areas they can carry the heartworm virus. People drink their own urine for cures, so i can quite believe the urine cured them."

[YEA] 12/29/2007: Robyn from PERTH, Australia writes: "Crushed Garlic Cure for Warts. Some time ago I had two warts appear on my nose. They seemed to increase in size quite quickly. GP tells me to come back in two weeks and she will burn them off. I didn't like the sound of that so tried a remedy that I'd heard about. Take fresh garlic cloves and crush them and apply to the warts. Keep on warts for as long as possible until they disappear. I used crushed garlic from the jar I purchased at the supermark and applied the crushed garlic to the gauze part of a bandaid and wore a fresh one every night for two weeks. Warts disappeared. Probably go in quicker time if I had used fresh garlic and used it in the daytime as well as at night."

It would never go away and eventually there was probably about 7 warts that had spread onto his finger. I found on the internet to take a garlic clove and slice a thin piece(s) and put it on the wart with a band-aid over it (it does burn, but it works!). Keep it on there & covered for 24 hours. After that, it should turn into a blister. At that point, the wart is gone. Then just treat the blister with ointment. The warts are gone and have never come back."
