Colon Cleanse

[YEA]  04/08/2010: Cal from Calgary, Ab Canada: "Body Odor

This is what I have found out from experiences with this embarassing situation that I had to deal with for a long time myself. I've done the ACV and hydrogen peroxide treatments and they do help but only momentarily and have to be applied constantly. A lot of the suggestion are just cover-ups to keep the smell down but does not really cure the problem or get to the root of the cause. The cause I have determined comes from a smelly colon. The stench from the colon backs up in the body and finds release through the sweat glands under the arm. I can bet that most if not everybody who has this problem also has smelly fecal matter. The body has to get rid of these toxins otherwise you could get very sick. I noticed that whenever I did a colon cleanse that my perspiration would have no smell but as soon there was any constipation the smelliness comes back. Therefore the solution is to keep your colon clean, eat foods rich in fibre, drink enough fluids to aid in excretion and your liver in top condition for that plays a very important role in waste disposal. You might need to do a colon and liver cleanse to clean things up and go from there. Epsom salts is a great way of cleaning the entire intestinal system...doesn't taste great but awesome results"

[YEA]  04/12/2013: Tx Kel from Frisco, Tx, USA: "I didn't find this recipe for deodorant antiperspirant on the site. So I thought I would share. A friend of mine shared this recipe. I love it! It is easy and works as well as aluminum ones!! I should also add that I live in Texas and it gets hot here!!

Recipe

  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup corn starch or arrow root powder
  • 6-8 tablespoons virgin coconut oil, melted
  • (lots of people add a fragrance. I like the coconut smell and it goes away)

Note: I had a reaction (hives) to cornstarch after shaving. So I tried arrow root. It seems to work as well, but no reaction.

Note: Melt the coconut oil by putting the tub in a bowl of hot water. Use all 8 Tb if you want more moisture, more smell, or have problems like a reaction / hives.

Sift both powders to remove lumps. With an electric beater (or by hand) beat in the oil until there are no lumps and its fluffy. (Run your fingers through it)

Spoon it into any small jar. It will turn hard if you refrigerate it for about 15 minutes. You may have to do this twice, but after 2 weeks of sitting in my bathroom drawer mine is very firm and doesn't get soft. ( Maybe it takes time to really firm up? ). It makes about 2 baby food jars. Apply a pea size amount. I do reapply at night if its hot. Some people put it into an old deodorant tube after making it. I have not tried this. Enjoy!!"

[YEA]  06/21/2012: Caleb from Calgary, Ab, Canada: "This is first hand experience. I used to have very strong under arm odor. I was working in the office as an IT personnel so no sweating and during the day I had to visit the washroom sometimes more than once and use the commercial hand soap to work up a lather on my underarm then use some wet paper towels to wipe so it wouldn't be so smelly and embarassing. I used to smell myself so I know that others could smell me too. I tried so many things including ACV which worked great - for days on end but it'll come back. One day I decided to do a liver cleanse using epsom salts, grapefruit juice etc as I read that it's a great way to detox the liver. I did about 6 of these. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least that my smelly under arm odor vanished. Not only that but my stool used to smell (very bad) and that too disappeared. What happened was my colon needed a cleanse and the liver cleanse with the salts did that. The odor has not returned and that was about 4 years ago. I have gone for 3 days without taking a shower just to test it and there's none. I work all day doing whatever and exercise and even if I sweat there's no odor. It's wonderful! The body has to find a way to get rid of what is decomposing in the colon otherwise it'll poison the entire body so the odor comes out thru the sweat glands, breath and stool. Now I'm odor-free! Hallelujah!! If I'm contipated for a couple days then there would be a slight smell in the stool but other than that everything is fresh. So do colon cleanses! It'll take the smell away"

[YEA]  06/22/2008: Jay from Altoona, FL: "I finally found a cure for the bacteria that causes really strong and offensive armpit odor. Desitin cream applied liberally and left on for at least 24 hours has completely eliminated bad armpit odor. This is the same product that many use to help with diaper rash on babies."

Eliminate Onions From Your Diet!

[YEA]  07/04/2006: Janet from NYC: "I think onions are without a doubt the main cause of bad underarm body odor. I made this discovery years ago when working in an office. Every few days, the receptionist would start reeking by mid-day. It was so bad you didn't want to stand anywhere near her. I decided I had to say something (no one dared too). She was completely mortified, but identified the onions on hamburgers that she ate as the culprit. She stopped eating onions and never had a problem again. I also start to reek if I eat onions 2 days in a row. I think this is the issue for people with bad BO... get rid of the onions!"

Replies
03/25/2005: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "When you have putrid underarm odors it is caused by other conditions, and onions just make the smell worse. The body's ability to oxygenate the body is severely depressed. Try alkalizing the body with sodium bicarbonate and take magnesium chloride as a supplements. Usually people with putrid odor is a sign of magnesium and zinc deficiency and onions sometimes get the bad rap. Also eating fried foods and vegetable oils also leads to putrid odors as well. Hydrogen peroxide therapy and silver colloids do help a lot with the putrid odors.""

Eliminate Preservatives

[YEA]  09/01/2006: Nadine from NY: "Preservatives in your foods can give you body odor if you are allergic to them. They will also give you gas and diarrhea. Get rid of the preservatives and white flour, store bought bread, boxed food and most canned foods. A lot of work to make your own but worth it. You will be healthier and smell better. When you eat the preservatives and your body has a reaction, those fumes etc have to go somewhere."

Finally, I engaged in a vigorous exercise routine that caused profuse sweating, and suddenly it cleared up and has been gone for days."

Flax Seed

[YEA]  05/13/2011: Kathie from Houston, United States: "I struggled with body odor (it smelled like old lunch meat... To be so discriptive! ). I started taking flax seed for other reasons (fiber intake and hormones). The body odor receded, but I do not know why... Either because I was having more active bowel movements or it changed my hormones. I am just happy I don't stink anymore!

Now, my husband struggles from a sore back, and no, it is not related to a vitamin/ mineral or exercise issue... He stinks! Because he bathes only once a week. If he would only shower more I would not make him sleep on the sofa! Hence the back problem would be solved! LOL"

QUESTION

08/19/2012: Hopeful29 from Bronx, Ny: "There is this product on the market from Arizona called for p*** s***, a natural strong deo. Has anyone tried it? Im stinking, I mean thinking about it, along with some sage soap, aloe vera daily detox juice, vitamin containing cal, Zinc, and mag(calcium is important so I get a vitamin with all 3) Hoping I get results, my son starts kindergarden and I dont want to embarass him. I deal with people(all different races/ages and family included being offended by me) the thing is that no one has the heart to say hey you should try this(Family)because I do bathe properly its something internal. But whatever, my main focus is to combat the issue and start going to college and work and eventually move away.

I have tried all the well known remedies(not for long because the smell came right back) but I have faith because I was able to get my bv under control, so strong underarm odor smell you later(will smith voice)"
