[YEA]  03/17/2007: Anita from Old Fort, NC: "Morgellons Disease, MRSA: red wine vinegar, 1 tablespoon a day, for 3 or 4 weeks. Also garlic softgels,1000mg, 1 day a week, take five. The garlic might also be used for MRSA. This is what I use for all of my family, we do not go to doctors."

Remedies Needed

07/09/2012: Erin from Rushden, England, Ited Kingdom: "First of all just to say thank you Ted and earthclinic for all your wonderful work. I learnt about cinnamon for type 2 diabetes and it has helped quite a few people I know tremendously. May God bless you in each and every way.

I have a question or request for advice please. I have suffering from boils (staph infections??) for more than a decade, mostly localised in the pubic area. I usually thought they were ingrown hairs but after some research, Earth clinic directed me to reviews of the turmeric remedy which has really helped. However for a about 3 months or more I have been having chills, some really bad chest pains (like once every couple of months), and more recently shortness of breath. Reading up on MRSA symptoms, I wonder if this could be the reason. I have an appointment booked today to force a check-up out of my dr but wondered what remedy I could follow for ingestion. I have been reading up on Milk of Magnesia but have seen no recommendation on how it should be taken internally. For a week or so I have been taking 2 tbsp ACV and 1/4 tsp Baking soda. I also take 375mg magnesium daily.

Any help will be most appreciated.

Regards, Erin"

08/01/2012: J from Auburn, Ny replies: "I felt your pain... Quite literally! I work in healtcare and managed to acquire MRSA from a hospital setting and was devastated. There were so many conflicting explanations from other health folks and scare stories. I was told that I may never work in healthcare becuase I would place patients at risk. I even met with a disease expert, which quite honestly, was a big waste of time. Fortunately, I do not take things lying down. I did some research and came across something that helped me. I am reluctant to name the brand (no, I am certainly not a sales rep for any company), but I was taking allicin (from garlic) daily. This as expensive (and had to be shipped from the UK to the US), but this worked. I am MRSA free (well, all of us have MRSA)... Not a single outbreak in three years... Not one. I will be more than happy to help, as I know how incredibly scary and frustrating this was..."

05/29/2012: Christina from Bm, Nevada: "Please help! My little sister just found out that she has mrsa staph in her lung. She started out getting pneumonia twice in 5 months, the second time she got it the doctors saw something on her lung and sent her to a specialist. She got a bronchoscopy and 2 biopsys done of what the doctor thought might be a tumor and it turned out it was MRSA!! She got a prescription of some really strong antibiotics but is there more she can do? Thanks so much!!"

06/01/2012: Lisa from Jax, Fl replies: "My daughter has had MRSA 4 times, but they are places on her skin. She took antibiotics and they come back. She has begun taking bleach baths to kill the MRSA on her skin. I think it is 1/2 cup in a tubfull of water. But she is older, so it may be less for someone younger. It is on the CDC's website. Also, she followed the 90 day immunity diet (a book), basically very clean eating, no sugar. Also, after the antibiotics, follow-up with colloidal silver for 10 days to 2 weeks so it won't return."
06/03/2012: Joyce from Dallas, Tx replies: "Hi, I am so sorry that Ted or Bill haven't responded to your desperate cry for help... !!!! TRY USING CAPS and exclamation points the next time you post!!!!!

Google the 12 Tissue Salts ASAP... They are called Dr. Schusslers 12 Tissue Salts... Google them please!!! If I were you, I would be giving my sister all 12 of them in particular: Ferrum Phosphate, Kalium Sulphate, Kalium Chloride, Silica etc. You need to read up on each of the 12 Tissue Salts and see which one is specific to her issues... She has Pneomonia and MRSA is a Blood Infection... She will need the Tissue Salt that helps with Bronchitis and Pneomonia as well as Respiratory and Sinuses... Google it to find out... She will also need the Tissue Salt that is responsible for Blood purification which I believe is Calcium Sulphate and Natrum Sulphate (aka Sodium Sulphate) also another Blood cleanser is Kali Sulphate (aka Potassium Sulphate) and Silica...

Please GOOGLE this yourself and find the 12 Tissue Salts... Some Health Stores have them, otherwise you will have to purchase on Ebay or on line... I suffered with MRSA too and tried every remedy on Earthclinic... Nothing worked except the 12 Tissue Salts!!! Please GOOGLE it!!!"

06/05/2012: Christina from Bm, Nevada replies: "Thank you so much!! I will definatly google it and I'm passing the info on to my sister as well."
06/08/2012: Michelle from Roseville, Ca, Usa replies: "Hi I am reading about your MRSA infection. Sorry about your sister who has it in her lungs. I have been Diagnosed with MRSA 4 times the past 2 1/2 years. I lived in the Middle east(which I was exposed to many things). I travelled back home quite frequently to CA (25 hours on a plane) every time I would travel back and forth I would break out with boils/pimples ONLY on the backs of my legs. I have taken bactrim (2x) and bactrim with Doxycycline (1x). This last time I didnt take anything until it got BAD. Went to my doctor and I just got off of Bactrim. Got a cold right after I stopped taking it and the boils came right back. I came across a website late one night a few months ago about Silver... WILL kill MRSA guaranteed. Never looked back into it until, they came back with this last treatment. I have started taking Sovereign Silver, Bio-active Silver Hydrosol 10 ppm from Whole Foods Market. Hopefully it will work.

I just wanted to ask if this brand is good and has anyone ever heard of it, and if MRSA is a blood infection am I at risk of getting MRSA in the lungs or heart valve, if it is only showing up as pimples on my legs?

My doctors dont seem too concerned about it coming back so often. When I mention more testing they say it isnt neccessary, they will just keep treating it with its return or refer me to an infectious disease speialist.

Also, how bad is it to take Sovereign silver at the same time as taking an antidepressant?

Thanks so much for any feed back.

-Michelle"

06/09/2012: Miserable_in_bama from Oneonta, Alabama, United States replies: "buy some "wild organic oregano oil" make sure it's the real deal and it should have at least 73% Carvacrol with the rest being a carrier oil like almond oil. It's the most potent anti-viral, anti-bacterial, fungal, etc known to man. It's a very potent oil. It's also expensive. A 1oz bottle can cost up to $35, but it's worth it. It takes just 2-3 drops under the tongue (sublingual) every few hours until infection is gone. Also apply it to wound or sore. Make sure you get the real stuff, they sell majoram oil and call it oregano oil. The name for it is: Origanum vulgare. It's grown wild and hand picked in the mediterranean.

I had a sinus infection, chronic, and ear infection for 6 months, it got rid of it in 2 days, and it's not back.

What I do is put a couple drops under tongue for as long as I can stand it, a couple minutes. It starts to burn like cayenne, then I drink some water and swish it around mouth and swallow, it's good for mouthwash, kills bacteria in mouth. Stuff rocks! Good luck! God bless you, MRSA is nothing to mess around with, and certainly not losing life and limb over.

03/12/2012: Jj from Denver, Co: "I found out about the superbug MRSA by getting it after shaving a few months ago. I lived in Phoenix and was told this is something I already had, and one day while staying in Denver through the holidays I shaved and in hours had boils, sores, and finally hospitalized for MRSA. The dr's had no idea what was going on. My girlfriend was going crazy because I was so upset and saw something but couldn't put my finger on it. Finally after three visits to the er, I was admitted and told about this superbug. When I was admitted I had a hole in the side of my face on my jaw line that a half dollar coin could fit through. There was black beads inside and pus and blood seeping out. I cried often as I do now. The sight of any black in our house makes me cry and I dig at anything under my nails out of fear that this is coming back. Well it always does. It has never gone away. I do not have state insurance, and since I'm single and have no dependent children I can't get state insurance. The dr's only help me as much as they have too since there is no insurance to bill. Pain med's, and antibiotics is all I ever see.

Now I can't get out of bed because I'm so tired and fatigued all the time. I sit in bed and cry when the hairs fall out of my face or head. I can watch the sores come back leave scars and go away and come back another day. I have tried many things, eating better, adding garlic to diet, cutting out cigs, I don't drink so that was easy. Tea tree oil is next and so is barley and yogurt with live bacteria.

But when does this end? I have had thoughts that I cannot go through this again. I can't watch the monster tear my family up by tearing me up. I try to work through the pain, depression, and anger. I am here on this site just looking for support and someone else that knows what it's like to hurt all the time and just want to give up. Thank you.. JJ"

03/12/2012: Debbie from Melbourne, Australia replies: "Jj I do know that copper will kill MRSA. On contact with copper surfaces 99% of MRSA will be killed within 2 hours. You can research it. If you can't find a supplement of copper, it stands to reason that if you get a piece of copper (or a flat copper plate/dish) and put it against your skin it will kill the MRSA. If you try this let us know how it goes. Good luck."
03/12/2012: Greg from Wichita, Ks replies: "I have a friend who has some stuff that can help calm down your mrsa I don't think it's a cure all but will certainly make a difference. I happen to know 4 people who have mrsa and only one doesn't now because he caught it early and got antibotics and got over it. That's all he knows. I know antibiotics do nothing for mrsa. Would like to give your name and # to my friend so he could call and talk to you if thats ok."
03/13/2012: Sara from The Beach, Canada replies: "It's too bad your friend couldn't come on here and help the masses afflicted with this nightmare as opposed to calling and talking to a few... Just saying."
03/13/2012: Rachel from Reinholds, Pa replies: "In regards to MRSA: I have used turmeric sucessfully for quite a few folks and it usually clears it up quickly. I first read it here at earth clinic about 4 years ago.

The suggested dose is one teaspoon of turmeric stirred into a glass of water, taken 3 times daily. My friend did not want to take it that way - so I suggested that she fill capsules and take 5, three times daily with a full glass of water and some garlic.

She did this faithfully and within 3 days the boils were dried up and going away.

This winter my grandson was in Thailand with his parents going to school there. There was MRSA on the campus. She called and asked what to do. I recommended a small slice of raw potato to pull the stuff to a head. He took the turmeric and applied potato to every boil until it drained. Then they applied a bit of moistened turmeric to the drained boil and soon the MRSA was a a thing of the past. She got excited and spread the word and everyone that did this soon cleared up. The interesting side note is that one young man did not believe in , "kitchen medicine, " as he called it and he did not do the treatment. When they left 4 months later, he was the only one that was still struggling with it.

Regular hi doses can lead to dehydration and constipation so use it when you need it and for a week after it is clear, with lots of water.

Then if it ever rears its ugly head again start immediately to use it and you should soon have good health.

Hope this helps."

03/14/2012: Jennifer from Tucson, Az United States replies: "Hi, First of all my heart goes out to you, as I have Mrsa, also, that I have had for the past four months. Went to the sliding scale clinic, as we have no insurance, too busy giving it here to the illegals (health insurance), and the antibiotics actually made it worse, as they lower your immunity. Keep the faith. I have been using Manuka honey on my outbreaks, and have to change bandaging 2-3 times a day. I understand, and will pray for you, I am battling the flu , now, thanks to all the useless doses of anti-biotics. We are going to try this place next, if my infection does not get healed, called ______. Just go to ______, they say it will kill 99.9 percent of mrsa in 24 hours, don't know if true, but the active ingredient is from the Oak tree."
03/16/2012: Gavin from Manganui, Northland, New Zealand replies: "Manuka honey from New zealand or jelly Bush honey from Australia, has killed every superbug thrown at it, the honey is from bees that feed off the manuka tree common to these two countries. ( latest from scientific testing)"
03/17/2012: R from Dallas, Tx replies: "Gavin how do you know which Manuka Honey from New Zealand? On Amazon there are about 10 choices of Manuka Honey. Is there a cetain brand you suggest, as some are active and some not.. Thanks"
03/17/2012: Gavin from Manganui, Northland, New Zealand replies: "That's the problem, they mix the pure stuff with the poorer to make a comercial blend.. But in the supermarket here the expensive one at 17 dollars for 500grams, is claimed to be the pure stuff. The ordinary clover honey is 5 dollars. That's kiwi dollars. It might be best to check with a reputable health food supplier. It's a grainy dark honey, and crystalised. Either that or e mail a supplier at source and ask them if they will send some by air mail."
03/17/2012: Gavin from Manganui, Northland, New Zealand replies: "There are suppliers that are certified to produce the medical grade honey and it takes a couple of days to get it to the USA. If you google "Medical grade manuka honey" you will see who is certified to produce the 16 grade.. It's about 40 nz dollars but you will only need 500gms. If you pack the wound, and then bandage. In fact do the same as for ulcers, it feeds the wound from the outside. It might be worth getting a good grade honey and doing it anyway. Make sure its the crystalised sort as some of the free flowing stuff is mostly sugar, and shouldn't be sold as honey."
04/16/2012: Paradoxica from San Pedro La Laguna, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala replies: "I am surprised no one here seems to know about using Ozonated Olive Oil (OOO) for MRSA. There are many different manufacturers online where it can be purchased. This will knock out MRSA very fast.

Medical Ozone of course is known as the most powerful antibiotic/virucidal/fungicidal in existence, and in 100 years of use, no bacteria has been known to develop a tolerance or resistance to it or to mutate against it.

One man who developed MRSA on many parts of his body while in the hospital for major surgery, and despite many antibiotics still could not get rid of the MRSA on his thigh, was given the ozonated olive oil to apply and within one day it cleared up and never returned. He has in turn shared it with many MD's who have been impressed with the results.

A German tourist came in to the clinic with MRSA on both legs almost down to the bone on one wound, from a fall here in Guatemala, and was on crutches with severe pain from the wounds.

She was at the end of her fourth round of hospital administered/prescribed antibiotics with still no relief. She was given two treatments of minimal subcutaneous ozone gas injections around the wounds, which were also washed out with ozonated water.

In 10 minutes the pain was gone and never returned. In two days the deep wounds had closed, infection cured and she was able to return home with complete accelerated healing.

Please consider giving the ozonated olive oil a try. It is inexpensive, usually around $14 or less, and easy to purchase. There are some manufacturers selling other ozonated oils such as hemp and others in addition to olive oil, but please be aware that the olive oil retains the highest concentration of ozone.

The oil, if kept in the refrigerator will maintain its strength for 10 years or more and can be used for any cuts, infection, skin condition, even herpes blisters successfully. It is great for pets too.

Hope this helps! So sorry to know that so many are suffering with this problem!"

11/30/2011: Alegrefeliz from Troncones, Guerrero, Mexico: "Hi, I am in Mexico. My housekeeper's 5yr old has open sores over his body. The doctors here say it is herpes. I am concerned for her and so I am investigating. I had staph once and know how hard it is to get rid of it and my daughter had mrsa three years ago. Mrsa is new to me but I know it is dangerous.

I am concerned about misdiagnosis because this could be life threatening. I want to help her but alternatives are not understood so well in this mexican culture. So simple is best.

She will go to the doctor, of course, but I want to make the suggestion that it could be mrsa. I thought herbes was basically oral or genital. The child does have genital sores but also all over his body.

I know we are not going to diagnosis this here, but I hope to help her in anyway I can.

It seems that washing with apple cider vinegar is helpful and turmeric sounds like a miracle.

Turmeric milk was mentioned.

Also, it is my understanding that regular honey spread over the sores, seals the sore from the air and creates a sterile environment and soft enough for new skin to grow. Anyone know more about this? That special honey is out of the question.

I can only suggest simple for her, things she knows and do not cost much.

Thankyou"

It all started wen I had my son in july of 2005 and afterwards they could not release me without runnig antibiotics thrugh my system because my white blood cell count was too high and I had a fever, they ended up letting me go early even though my white blood cells where not quite where they would like them to be.. two weeks later my toe swelled and I though I had just stumped it but to my suprise it kept swellin and became more painful then one day afer being out all day in pain I came home to find that my toe had exploded a hole in the side of it a hole the size of a cigarette and decided to tell the docter.. He did a culture and told me I had CELLULITUS so for no less than 1 year at least 2 times a month I went back with more boils and was treated for cellulitus with regular antibiotics and pain meds...

It was not unil I moved and got a new boil I went to the hospital and they did 2 cultures and told me I had MRSA and gave me bactrim (which needless to say never worked) it would only make it go dormant for a little while.. Eventually my son got it and I got access to the internet and have been doing reserch since.. Ive found that my garlic ginger onion tincture along with ecenacia works well but is not quite gone... And since I had taken the antibiotics for soooooo long my immune system probobly needs alot of work!!! I do not have any money most of the time if im not living outside I reside in a motel room.... but I am very interested in hearing any kind of feedback concerning this issue .. Thanks for your time"

05/10/2011: Barb from Odessa, Tx replies: "Re MRSA: A number of years ago I had an outbreak of "boils" that came from unknown source. My doctor prescribed antibiotics which created more problems in the long run. Internet searches on my symptoms produced the suggestion for using turmeric, in capsule form and as a paste on the boils (you can do both applications at the same time). I mixed turmeric powder with water and applied externally (remember: turmeric will stain! ); then assembled my own capsules (size 00) of turmeric powder and took three capsules three times a day with food. If you are diabetic, however, turmeric is very drying and shouldn't be taken without your doctor's knowledge and permission. Tumeric is very inexpensive, a natural food product, and not addicting."

After many rounds of antibiotics, we found that a silver gel (10ppm colloidal silver mixed with aloe vera gel) applied at the first sign of recurrence inhibited the growth and helped the cycst form a head and drain. Just another example of the antibacterial/antiviral properties of silver. Unfortunately cysts deep in the tissue are harder to pull to the surface. We found a new one tonight and my research led me to this site. I am going to try the baking soda along with turmeric and acidophilus."
