Hi my name is Kavita Ballah. i am a Mauritian, married and mother of two kids 22 & 18 yrs. i am now 43 yrs old. i had surffered from candida since 24 yrs now. i have never known what it's like not to suffer & not take medicines. All my life i have struggled and fought for my health. i tried so many things but there has never been a cure. i was very sick. For a very long time.

i tried all kinds of herbs and chemicals that exist on the market home and abroad. i spent all my saving going around the world ( US, UK, India, malaysia, Indonesia, Reunion island) in search of relief. In 2001, i had hysterectomy followed by adhesion on the left which nearly killed me.

3 months back, i was told i had Pelvic inflammatory disease, adhesion on the left again, left ovarian cyst 5.8 cm for the 4th time(had ablation done once), vaginal yeast infection, chronic cystitis, sinus infections and chemical allergies.

i knew about Urine Therapy some 10 yrs back. a friend insisted i should do it. Did not trust it that much then until one night i was on my knees crying becuase of pain in my lower abdomen. i just remembere UT. Next Morning i started on it and immediately my pain reduced to 20%. That day i did it whole day and the next dat my pain was down.i was suppose to go for surgery on the 3rd day. i postponed it and for following week. i gave myself one more week to decide. within 5 days my cyst shrunk and all my pain reduced to 60%. i started beleiving in it and from that day till now i am continuously drinking urine in the morning.

My chronic cystitis and yeast infections has disappeared . After one months, i was a new person. Today it's nearly 3 months and i am happy to confirm that i don't suffer anymore. my sexual life is so beautiful and i see life full of values.

This is a message to all women who are suffering from Candida. Urine therapy is the answer girls.

Results of urine therapy: In my attempts to deal with RA (rheumatoid arthritis) I discovered UT. It always results in giving me hives. No matter how minute the quantity after 2-3 days the hives begin. i've been unable to ascertain why. I take no meds and eat mainly vegetarian diet with green juices, etc. Any insight is highly appreciated because one major immediate benefit was improved sleep.

Response to Rosy: "If it looks like water, you might be drinking too much water. Urine should have a light yellow color and neutral scent."

This is NOT correct. It's very difficult to drink too much water. Everyone should have half of their body weight in ounces of water every day. So if your 150lbs that 75 ounces of water a day. If your urine is clear when you are drinking that amount of water that's fine.

Now I don't do urine therapy but if you do then when you drink that much water your urine might not be that potent for therapy which is why I suspect that they say use first urine of the day as it is more concentrated.

Also if you are drinking the correct amount of water you need to make sure you are getting enough sodium and other minerals/electrolytes especially in the heat.

I've noticed that my pee smells disgusting if I drink a can of soda with corn syrup or something from Starbucks where they add powder to it, like a vanilla chai latte. Probably anything over 20 grams of sugar causes it. I checked the sugar content on one of vanilla packets they sell separately at Starbucks, I saw that one scoop contains a ridiculous amount of sugar. So for me, too much sugar and my pee smells gross. I have also walked into a bathroom stall at the office and smelled the same strong scent from one of my co-workers more times than I can tell you. I have never confirmed if she drank something with a ton of sweetener in it though. ha ha... can you imagine? Ummm, excuse me, did you just drink a coke with 42 grams of sugar? How did I know? Well, I can smell it in your pee!

Urine is another way your body will rid it's self of waist. You might smell coffee in your urine, because coffee is a diuretic, and causes you to release your body's liquids. This happens with loss stool and urine. It might be the acids in the coffee you smell. Also look at the color. If it has a lot of uric acid it will be darker. If it looks like water, you might be drinking too much water. Urine should have a light yellow color and nuetral scent. Water-soluble vitamins also affect urine. B vitamins are really strong in urine. It turns mine florescent yellow, and very strong scented.

Hi Joyce... that's totally to the point, actually. I can age or seem 15 years younger within a week, depending on how righteously I'm sticking to the raw diet... and that's not subjective, the confirmation comes from friends and acquaintances who're astonished by the changes and can accurately guess by looking at me, how much I have or have not sinned. What's interesting about the urine drinking, is that its allowing me to get away with twice as much cooked food, with no ageing effect. It also allows me to maintain that state whilst cutting my green juice intake by half - which means less drudgery and hassle of carting in tons of veggies, storing, preparing... all this drives me nuts. I have no desire to know a damn thing about nutrition and I hate being strapped to a kitchen, only crippling necessity has taken me there; so I'm gobsmacked by the sheer luxury of being cut loose from a lot of that stuff.

I also needed to eat a lot of raw meat to shore up the immune system [veggie protein just doesn't work for me] and that's been cut by 1/3. My wallet is grateful. YAY!

Hi Avril, Have you started looking younger yet? On the way home one morning I was listening to one of my favorite newscasters, Paul Harvey, who has a most melodious voice. He related a story about an Asian man stopped and intensely interogated by our customs people, after he landed here. They let him go several hours later after explaining they stopped him because he looked so much younger than the age shown on his passport, but he gave all the right answers to their questions they had to accept his stated age but asked him what his secret was as they had never heard of anyone his age looking so young. His reply was that the only thing he did different from most people he knew, was drink a glass of his urine daily. PH said he got to wondering about it and called a friend in medical research and asked if there was anything in urine that could keep you looking younger if you drank it. His friend said he couldn't answer that because as far he knew, no study had ever been done on drinking urine. PH said he then asked his friend if he had ever tasted urine himself and got the reply, "Yes, indeed I have and it tastes remarkedly like beer". I laughed the rest of the way home, because I've always said they should put the beer back in the horse!

within 3 hours of drinking my own urine, my MOOD had changed completely from the depression, allergic symptoms and candida that have dogged me for decades and pretty much wrecked my life. Eating raw food, using colloidal silver, H2O2, plenty of green juice including wheatgrass, having acupuncture, all these things are tremendously helpful, but I have never experienced anything like this. And I wasn't even expecting it, since the posts I've read related to physical effects. And its so EASY... well the first time was a bit stomach-churning but that was purely psychological, since the taste turned out to be ok. I've been doing it for 4 days now, and got more done than in the past four weeks; and been very socially relaxed, where before I was really, really tense with having to pretend that I was ok.

The reason I first turned to alternative therapies was that the medications prescribed by various GPs and psychologists had so many horrible side effects, but I found most supplements from health food shops do nothing and cost plenty. This just beats everything, I don't have to carry ridiculous amounts of supplements etc around with me. Candida is also definitely receding, sinus clearing, tinnitus fading, skin glowing. I'm even thinking more clearly, the energy that was missing from everything is just there, available and free.

Hair {thanks to the person/s who posted this also} is looking brilliant, healthy, shiny. I soak it in urine, wrap up in a towel for an hour, shower off with plain water, then rinse with borax water and a few drops of Bergamot essential oil, since Bergamot seems to actually eradicate, not just cover, any smell - that's just to be absolutely sure I don't go around smelling of pee. I've asked two of my friends to smell my hair, and all they find is a herbal smell, i.e. the Bergamot oil. Thanks to Ted and all.

Urine therapy really works. I heard about this remedy years ago and have used it for just about every ailment i've had. I've used it for everything from an ear infection, and athletes foot, to food poisoning and herpes. It really is a cure-all. I now drink 5 ounces every morning with great results. It's no wonder the "medical industry" doesn't want you know about this, you can cure yourself and it doesn't cost a thing!

Clearing Up the Misconceptions
If you asked a person on the street what uric acid is, he or she would invariably answer that it's a toxic body waste. No so, say medical researchers at the University of California at Berkeley who in 1982 reported they had discovered that "uric acid destroys body-damaging, cancer-causing free radicals and is considered to be one of the physiological factors that enable human beings to live so much longer than other mammals."

But what about urea? Urea is in urine and isn't that the toxic stuff that causes uremic poisoning? Actually, medical researchers discovered many decades ago that urea, far from being a toxic body waste, is an incredibly versatile, far-reaching and effective medicinal agent. In numerous medical studies, it was shown that urea is one of the most potent non-toxic virucidal agents ever discovered. In one particular study, the rabies and polio virus [sic] were killed so quickly and efficiently by concentrated urea, that even the laconic researchers themselves were surprised: "Urea is such a relatively inactive substance and certainly not a protoplasmic poison such as are most virucidal agents, that it is in a way surprising that rabies and poliomyelitis are killed so easily by urea solutions" (McKay & Schroeder, Society of Experimental Biology, 1936).

In reality, Urea is an FDA-approved medicinal agent that doctors and researchers utilize in an amazing variety of therapeutic modalities. Because of its remarkable and comprehensive anti-neoplastic (anti-tumor) properties, it's presently being used in anti-cancer drugs and is extensively studied for use in cancer treatments. The urea compound drug, glicazide, is used successfully by the medical establishment in treating both insulin-dependent and non-insulin-dependent diabetics.

As a natural diuretic, urea is unparalleled, and is a proven and accepted treatment in cases of edema or swelling such as excess cerebral and spinal pressure, glaucoma, epilepsy, meningitis, even premenstrual edema and many other disorders in which excess fluid is a problem. As one American neurosurgeon reported regarding a patient who nearly died form complications following brain surgery: "Urea was administered intravenously as an emergency measure. Within 20 minutes from the start of injection, her blood pressure had returned to normal....from this time on her recovery was uneventful. In this case, urea was definitely life-saving, because prior to its administration, the patient's survival was unlikely. In many similar instances urea was found to be life-saving" (Dr. M. Javid, University of Wisconsin).

The Physiological Answer to a Therapeutic Mystery
The medical findings on urine and urine constituents are overwhelming, and yet it's difficult for most people to understand why our bodies excrete elements that are so obviously valuable to human health and well-being.

The commonly-asked question, "If your urine is so good for you, why does your body excrete it?" is best answered by looking into how our kidneys function. As your blood moves through the circulatory system, it flows through the kidneys at a rate of about 1200 ml of blood per minute. Inside the kidneys, the blood is continuously filtered through a huge system of minute tubules called nephron which sift out excess water, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, salts, and hundreds of other elements including vital antibodies, urea and uric acid.

A large portion of these key physiological elements are reabsorbed into the bloodstream, but a certain amount of critical blood constituents are pooled by the kidney into a liquid which doctors refer to as a "plasma ultrafiltrate" (we call it urine). Much of this sterile, nutrient filled ultrafiltrate, or urine, is reabsorbed and some remains in the kidney for a period of time and is eventually released into a tube called the urethra which empties the urine into the bladder where it is finally excreted. Now you're probably wondering why the body excretes valuable nutrients, water, hormones, enzymes, etc. that are critical to body functioning. Doesn't it make more sense to retain these elements? If urine is a collection of such life-sustaining elements, why does the body get rid of it?

The answer is that the kidneys excrete a portion of urine as a way of removing certain key elements in your blood that are simply not needed at a specific point in time. For instance, you've just been out jogging. You come home and have one or two big glasses of water to drink. Now at this point you've probably taken in more water than your body actually needs. But not to worry -- your kidneys will balance the amount of water delivered into your bloodstream by your copious water drinking and through the urine will excrete whatever amount of water from the blood that isn't needed at the time.

Now water is certainly a life-sustaining element the body cannot do without. So why is it excreted from the body? The answer is obvious. There are times when there's too much water in your system and it needs to be excreted.

It's a physiological fact that in order for us to function normally, the amounts or concentrations of every element in our blood must be carefully and strictly controlled and this is done by the kidneys. Too much water in the blood is fatal. Too much salt in the blood is deadly. As wonderful a nutrient as vitamin C is, too high a concentration of it or any nutrient could kill you. This is why the kidneys excrete valuable elements from the body -- too much of any good thing isn't good for your health.

The same is true of urea. People who have heard of uremic poisoning are surprised when they read the medical research showing urea to be a widely-used, FDA-approved medicine. But just like any other element in the blood, urea only becomes dangerous to the body when the kidneys are damaged or diseased and can't properly balance the amount of urea (and all other substances) in the bloodstream.

Your kidneys aren't doing damage to your body by getting rid of particular excess nutrients, they're just simply excreting the precise amount not presently needed by your body at a given time. And the same goes for practically every nutrient, enzyme, hormone, antibody, etc. that are critical to your survival -- the kidneys keep what your body needs at a certain time, and excretes what it isn't momentarily using into your urine. And as medical scientists and doctors have discovered, these urinary ingredients extracted from the blood can be therapeutic magic bullets.

I've suffered from cold sores my entire life. I hate when I feel that tingle coming on. I tried everything, and some things will help and shorten the duration, but I finally found what will stop if from even developing. My step-dad said he heard of people using their own urine. Just pass a q-tip through your own stream of urine, then dab it on the spot where a coldsore is developing. I was VERY reluctant to try this, but one day I felt one coming on and I was desperate. I tried it, and it worked!! Nothing came of it! I've tested this 2 or 3 times since, and can happily report its still working! I'm so happy to have found something that works.

hello! i wanted to write that when i read about urine therapy someone it made sense to me and i tried it. at first i just tried putting morning pee on my hands and face and i could really tell the difference - my skin looks way younger when i do this and i do not get pimples unless i stop! i am 48 and just starting menopause and was having terrible acne for the first time in years and this really helped. then i got a sore throat and decided to try the universal remedy after other remedies didn't seem to be helping. well, when i put 4 drops of the universal remedy under my tongue - within a few minutes my throat felt better! also i found that if i sniffed a couple of drops of fresh urine in my nose that my stuffed up nose would clear up almost immediately! this works folks! i am amazed!
i even have my boyfriend peeing on his feet when he has foot fungus now. he was skeptical - but it worked for him too!
also i put a drop in my eyes when they are red and/or itchy and get relief.
try it! it is free and it won't hurt you - it is yours.

Yet again, when a rash develops after this sort of therapy and others, such as using coconut oil or apple cider vinegar, that means the body is detoxifying. And when your body detoxifies, the toxins must come out somewhere. For some it is with bowel movements, others with rashes. In your case the toxins are leaving through the skin.

Urine therapy cured my warts. All 3 times that I have gotton pregnant I get warts. The past 2 times I have had them frozen off in my ob/gyn office. This past time I got a lot of them and they spread into my nailbeds were they were no longer able to be frozen. My gyno sent me to a dermatologist and they attempted to remove them with chemo injections. I got about 10 shots in my nail beds with hurt like crazy yet nothing happened to the warts. I went back a month later to the dr. as advised and he decided that they were stubborn enough to not continue with the shots but to rather try a topical treatment called DNCB. Some sort of chemical that is suppose to induce an allergic reaction and have my immune system fight off the warts. Well, it back-fired. I applied the treatment as prescribed and I ended up with huge puss blisters which they said were normal but it developed into a bad strep infection. I got really sick: fever, chills, achy, and fingers that were disabled (which was really difficult with a newborn baby). I was put on an antibiotic for the strep infection and started feeling better slowly. About a month last I developed some bowel problems and started to feel sick with bloody stools for about a week. I went to the dr. again and it was decided after a ton of testing that I had "Antibiotic enduced Colitis". I couldn't believe it. All this just in hopes of taking away a few warts. I of course was fed up so I got online. This is when I found urine therapy. It sounded easy enough, cheap enough, and it couldn't seem to hurt. I wasn't brave enough to actually drink it but I read that by just putting the urine on the warts would do the trick. I figured I could handle that so I did it and IT WORKED!! I can't believe it. What a miracle. After all that trouble, money, pain, and all I had to do was pee on my hands. The warts that were once "stubborn" and huge, cracked, bleeding are now a problem of the past. I don't know why or how it works but I am glad I know this cheap and painless cure.

I don't see how drinking urine could be healthy as urine is a waste product. It just does not make sense to me to put back in your body what it has put out, even if you use it externally. Besides as soon as urine gets cold it is very prone to bacteria and other germs. It is only sterile when it's hot.
