Thank Goodness I found this site. After a week reeling with pain from sinusitis ( a problem I've had intermittently for almost 30 years) I tried the weird Tomato Tea remedy. Within 3 HOURS the pain had gone and I slept like a log that night. THANKYOU. I've not taken any painkillers since. Now I'm going to try the Oil Pulling......

I tried the tomato tea, but so far it hasn't worked for my sinus congestion. It just left my mouth burning. It seems to work for other people though, so it can't hurt to try it! As for now...I am going to the doctor tomorrow after two weeks of sinus problems...today being the worst. I read about steaming with ACV and am about to go try that! Thanks for the ideas and suggestions and I hope these remedies work for others.

A couple days ago I got my second sinus infection in 2 months which is extremely unusual for me. I am a big fan of homeopathic remedies so I searched online, found the Earth Clinic site, and read through the cures using ACV and tomato tea. About 20 minutes ago I had my first cup of tomato tea - wow, that stuff is really tasty! The flavor was so much like a spicy soup that I wanted to put some crackers or cooked macaroni in it - in fact, this would make an excellent base for vegetable soup. I am breathing more freely and definitely plan on drinking a cup or two a day of this stuff until the infection is gone. Also got some ACV at the store and have a bottle with water, honey and ACV all mixed up and ready for sipping. Thanks for creating such a fabulous site. I will definitely put a link on my blog to these cures.

Tomato Tea Cure: This remedy worked well for me. The more hot sauce and garlic you put in the better; I say put in as much as you can stand, but be very careful that you don't overdo it. My results were immediate.

I have been obsessed with this web site since I found it last week. I have a case of bronchitis, usually so bad that it lasts for at least a week, but I'm almost over it now, I believe thaks to EVCO, ACV, and tomato tea. Yesterday I read about the tomato tea. Last night I started coughing and had nasal congestion upon going to bed. I finally got up and did the "pre-made" tomato drink with ACV and tobasco. FINALLY slept! Today though I will add the garlic. Great for soothing the cough as well.

Tomato Tea: This really worked! I only did one cup a day so far for a couple of days, but I have dramatically improved! I was really sick with a horrible head cold and I don't normally get sick so, I am not excited when I do. This tea combined with a TON of sleep really did the trick. I went back to work today and people actually noticed a difference in me!! I highly recommend this concoction!

I would really recommend to buy a juicer, and make this tea with freshly juiced vegatables, and ideally organic vegetables-- (and a juicer is great to have around anyway, but especially useful we're you're sick and need nutrients as pure as possible--it's harder to digest our food when we're ill--).

I just made this receipe, with two large tomatoes, a clove of garlic, a piece of fresh lemon, a little celery (all of which I put in my juicer), then I added sea salt (*not* table salt, which is not good for you), the hot sauce (though i wish i had had some fresh peppers around too--), threw in a little black pepper, boiled the mixture on the stove, then drank it as a tea, and it worked great-- (in some ways, it's like drinking the best tomato soup you've ever had :)i would definitely true to juice your vegetables though--and there are some good cheap ones (I found a really good one at target, that had really tacky decorating on the box (it seemed like an informerical gone bad), but it ended up being a great juicer better than the slick black i had bought a few months earlier but was more 'chic' looking (and both cost $100).

fresh lemon and apple juice shooters i've heard are good when you're sick too, but i haven't tried that yet...i'll let you know when i do :)

So after two sleepless nights and two wearied days of dealing with a painful sinus congestion and runny nose, I decided that I couldn't take ANYMORE of the zyrtec/singulair/albuterol combination my doctor put me on! So, I put on some determination, got out of bed and did a search on the internet on "painful sinus congestion" and came across the recipe for the spicy tomato tea. Unfortunately, I only had a couple of the ingredients on hand, but I got myself dressed, went to get the rest of the ingredients. I am so glad that I did, because now, only 1 hour later, I feel like a million bucks...no runny nose or stuffy nose!! Thank you all for your feedback!!!

Hello Earth Clinic, Last night I really couldn't breathe and had a very awful blocked nose.. I didn't even sleep so I browsed the internet and searched for the cure for blocked nose and lucky me.. I found your site and the very helpful tip! Although I didn't have any of the ingredients last night, first thing in the morning I bought all the ingredients and immediately mixed and boiled it... I loved the taste and most of all it decongested my stuffed nose in 10 minutes.. thanks!! I will definitely recommend this to my friends...

My mom, just returned from MO, and she went to the DR. today for her sinus, which is worse in TN than MO, she got a prescription and a nasal spray. She took the med and used the spray, at dinner she was worse and I found your webpage and your tomato recipe, she took it and 10 minutes later (we timed it!) she was better. She didn't care for the garlic part of it but she loves the relief!! Thank you for the great info.

This stuff ROCKS! The Tomato Tea (I consider it more of a soup) is absolutely amazing! I've had extreme allergies for my entire life, coupled with asthma. I also have a deviated septum, which causes constant sinus infections. I'm on all sorts of OTC medications as well as prescriptions and none of them work as well as this stuff. I made it with 52 ounces of tomato juice, 4 tablespoons of garlic, 4 tablespoons of lemon juice, and I quit keeping track of how much Cayenne and hot sauce I used. Needless to say, I'm sitting here sweating profusely due to the spiciness, but I can't even feel the sinus infection anymore. My nose has been draining for half an hour, the pressure is gone, no more headache, sore throat is gone, and no more itchy eyes. Not to mention the soup tastes FANTASTIC. I'm definitely going to drink this stuff more often. Thank you so much!

It works! I tried everything that the doctor prescribed for my sinus infection and when that did not work, I turned to the Internet and found the Tomato/Vegetable tea concoction remedy. About 3 hours after I drank it, I could actually breathe and have not had a better night's sleep in months. THANKS A MILLION!!!

For almost two years now my regular sinus condition has gotten about ten times worse. If I sleep through the night it is a miracle. Tonight I was at the end of my rope. (not to mention I had been on a variety of meds including;flonase, singular, advair, sudafed, zyrtec) and they barely take the edge off of it. I have used garlic alone and cayne pepper so when I read this receipe I brewed up a cup...and I was extremely stuffy tonight and not able to sleep. I drank/sipped it down and I am 90 percent clearer than I was in just twenty minutes. I ended with a stick of winterfresh gum (which does help to clear my sinus) and wow, I feel better than I ever have. I tried the apple cider vineger but it only took the edge off, but this stuff and my trusty stick of gum...well, I am off to bed and betting I will sleep pretty good. And talk about taste, I will drink this two to three times a day and look forward to it, it tastes great. Good Night all..
