I have heard that b17 or Dioscovite can help with sickle cell anemia. I am saddened by the fact that I never heard of these natural remedies before. Now that I am aware I want to share the knowledge. I have started my 15yr old son on 100mg b17 tablets, he is doing well so far. If that doesnt work then I will give the Dioscovite a try.

I have the trait but I believe that I still have some of the same symptoms as the actual disease. Do you think taking this will help ease some of the pain I experience.
Foods High in Nitrilosides
My 15yr old son has Sickle cell Anemia. Thank you so much for posting the information you found out, I greatly appreciate it and I am going to try giving my son foods high in Nitrilosides which is Vitamin B17. I found a site which list many of these foods. http://www.vitaminb17.org/foods.htm
I recently found out about foods high in nitrilosides I will incorporate this into my childs diet. Also wheatgrass juice and chloryphyll combo is essential to providing the cells with oxygen even when you are having a crises.
