Milk of Magnesia

My friend told me about Milk of Magnesia for burns. When her daughter was little she has rashes so bad on her bottom that she had to leave on the diaper quite often because of her acidity level in her urine. One day her mother was watching her and she told her mother to be very careful because of the rash. She left for a few hours and when she came home the rash was gone. She had applied Milk of Magnesia directly on her granddaughter and not long after the skin rash was gone.

My friend also told me about using it on burns, so I have tried it. My daughter and I have both burned our hands so I tried it and it worked. You need to soak it near an hour but it leaves no red marks and it feels better.

Butt Paste

My husband was working outside this past summer in high grass and weeds. Late in the afternoon, he broke out with little bumps all around his ankle and lower leg. The bumps were red and itched intensely. My guess would be chigger bites but we don't know. I searched the internet and saw a suggestion for Butt Paste - you can buy it at most pharmacies - it is intended for diaper rash. If I remember correctly, it was mostly zinc oxide and very pasty but my husband said it worked "miracles". The bites completely stopped itching and cleared up in a couple of days. It is pretty cheap and worth a try. Spread the paste over the bite until it is covered.

i'm allergic to a plant down here and unknowingly got in contact with it. i broke out in a really nasty rash on my arm and neck. A trainer at my gym told me to use epsom salt. He said it'll dry it out and kill the bacteria in it. i did and my rash cleared up in a few days and gott noticably better after each treatment. Mind you i tried all kinds of creams and allergy pills that had no effect what so ever.

I applied ACV to a few warts I had on my leg. I soaked a cotton ball in it then used a bandaid to hold it in place, I did this for 2 nights in a row. After the second night I developed a very itchy rash in the areas I treated with ACV. The rash is a perfect circular shape that the cotton ball was. Did you ever find out why you got this rash? How did you get the rash to go away?

Apple Cider Vinegar cured my rash. I had developed a rash which I found out was Tinea Veriscolor. I took Organic Appl Cider Vinegar 3 times a day for about 4 - 5 days. The rash just dried up. Apparently the rash was a fungal rash and ACV kills fungus. I also used ACV on a huge mole on my husband's nose. After 7 uses it just came off in layers. Fantastic stuff ACV.

i recently had an itchy painful skin rash on my chest that started spreading. i thought it might be from the sun, or maybe scabies, poison oak, shingles, skin cancer. didnt know. i tried spraying hydrogen peroxide on it. didnt work. i went to the doctor and they couldnt tell me what it was either. they gave me a steroid cream with a ton of dangerous side effects. they said it wouldnt cure it but would stop the itch. i tried it for a few days didnt work. total joke western medicine as unusaul. i tried pure peppermiint oil 2x a day. this is day number 3 and its totally gone. peppermint oil!! try it!! amazing. its what worked for me.!!

dermatitis herpetiformis & ACV: i was struck by repeated bouts of what a dermatologist diagnosed as herpes zoster or shingles. Went through a valtrex treatments each time the rashes appeared on my arms and legs. slowly emerging and very itchy bumps that would, over two weeks, become clear liquid-filled bumps. i suspected it had to do with infected scratches from dog toenails, as i was working with rescue dogs. lo and behold, it was - and my sister, a doctor across the country, had suspected dermatitis hep the whole time. it was much later that i stumbled upon ACV as an excellent cure that speeds up the cycle of the rash. i soak a gauze square with it and tape it to the affected area changing it in the morning and at night. such a relief to have a non-med cure! also, i have found that if i wash the scratched area immediately with anti-bacterial soap, it can prevent the rashes.:)

Nu-Stock

A number of years ago, we acquired a German Shepherd with a severe case of mange, covering about 1/3 of his body. The vet's expensive prescription products hardly touched it. After a lot of study, I found a product generally used for horses to heal wounds and rashes. It's called Nu-Stock. It cleared the mange up after only 2 applications and it has never returned. His hair grew back very quickly, and although he wasn't too thrilled with the first application, he WANTED the second one very much. The itching stopped immediately.

A couple years later, my daughter had a rash that no doctor seemed able to get rid of. We tried the Nu-Stock and it cleared right up and hasn't returned.

I've had a problem with athlete's foot for years. I tried all the other remedies and it got rid of "most" of it, but there was a spot on the ball of one foot, including two toes where it just wouldn't go away. One day it occurred to me to try Nu-Stock. After just a couple of applications, the skin was back to normal, all itching gone, and it appears to be healing permanently. I think this is going to finally kill it!!!

Doing a little studying, I've found that Nu-Stock is 73% sulphur, 25% mineral oil, and 2% pine oil.

I've also discovered that there are other health products made for pets that aren't available for people. For instance, in the local Farm & Fleet, you can buy a cheap package of electrolytes for your pet's water. 16 oz. of DMSO was only $5. And there were other things as well, most of them in the section for horses! Isn't it amazing that you can buy products for your pets, cheaply, and you can't get prescription products that work for yourself???

Coconut Oil

If you are/were using baby wipes, have you considered that the rash on your little fellow's tush might be from the chemicals in the wipes? If it continues, I always loved the healing of A & D ointment, also I would stop the wipes, using only a clean wet wash cloth instead of wipes and see if it stops the rash from returning!

My 3 week old baby has suffered terribly with nappy rash and most things I've tried have only irritated it as they are too harsh for his sensitive skin. However I tried, only as of last night, Coconut Oil, and after only 3 applications his rash has all but disappeared! This is great stuff and I am delighted. I presume then that my little boy had thrush (Candida) perhaps on his poor tush?! Anyway, I will continue to use this as it works so well, smells gorgeous and is also a fabulous body moisturiser! I hope this helps someone out there. Good luck.

I bathe my 2 year old son in ACV. About three days a week, I add a cup or so to a warm bath. He had allergies and was taking Cingular everyday. Some unknown cause was making his back and upper arms break out in little red bumps. The bumps have stopped completely. The week I ran out and didn't have time to get more ACV, the bumps came back. Works like a dream!

Soda Cystals

Carbicarb remedy which is a solution for many symptoms!! I had painful red itchy hands with pimples after working in the garden and i took 1/4 teaspoon of soda crystals (baking soda and sodium bicarbonate) in a glass of water the trademark is Tricel, made in the Netherlands, and in one hour the symptoms were gone. I also had running nose and the soda crystals dried my nose. My nose sometimes gets blocked and with daily use of soda crystals can return your nose to its normal condition and opened sinuses. Soda crystals does a lot! It helps my mother sleep easily, it alkalises your brain, helps your hypothalamus and help your exhausted adrenal glands to recover. This remedy and advice i got from Ted, he advised me to take daily soda crystals with a lot of water... It is helping my thyroid problem as well as i have hypothyroidism. I hope it will clean my liver too from the fats and clean it like it cleans a dirty plate. Thanx Ted for the great help you give with your advice as always. You are the best website!!! And Ted is the best! What do we do without Ted? What do we do without Earthclinic? We would probably die.. I am telling everyone i know how great Earthclinic is and they are checking your site.

Thank god for this website. I was suffering a rash under my left breast and in the crease of my leg and abdoman. Very painful and itchy burning. One dr prescribed a medicine for psoriasis no help made it worse. Another said ringworm, another said yeast. I read all are a type of fungus and found your site with ACV for yeast and fungus. I put it on straight on the rash it burned the first time only. Did this for the last 2 days twice a day. then dried it and put powder. It is almost gone like a miracle. I am now drinking some dailey and hoping to try it on my bad foot for a toenail fungus will let you know. wow a miracle. Nancy

Mylanta

I have found Mylanta poured on a bottom clears up diaper rash over night, as well as soreness from diahrea. My dr. told me about this when my now 3 yr old was 8 months old...I've used it ever since. When baby has severe rash from diahrea simply put them in the sink or tub w/ just enough water to cover bottom and add mylanta...let them soak for a bit, then pat dry pour in diaper and let them go to bed...will be nearly to completely gone by morning.

Ginger Root

I use ginger to prevent this horrific rash. I juice a pound of root into a couple dozen mini ice cubes and plop them into my teas, soups, sauces, stews, etc. I am curious that only the yellow ginger root works and not the brown ginger. Would appreciate feedback on the difference between the two types. I've had the rash for over ten years. Just discovered the ginger remedy over a year ago. I have appr. twenty pounds(pre-juice weight) of frozen ginger cubes in my freezer because I am such a strong believer in it's power to keep my horrific rash in check.

Raw Honey for diaper rashes: my grandfather used to raise honey bees, and sell the honey. my mother used the raw honey on diaper rashes. it was all that ever touched the bums of my three younger sisters. she had a small container of it in the diaper bag, and some q-tips to apply it. i love telling people about this. they don't believe me, but a few have tried it.

The rash I had lasted for almost two years--tryed everything--natural--I do not like the medical field at all--so a friend of mine who is very much so into alternative medicine started researching about skin--well needless to say she came across and Idia site that said mix tomato juice(organic) and coconut oil(organic) to the rash--the rash was all over my body--I was in so much pain from the rash I was crying--so I mixed it in the blender--put towels down in my bathtub--so as not to make a mess--my husband bless his heart--took a big cooking spoon and pored it on me--as he was pouring I was rubbing it in--yes it had a very much so tingling effect--but we didn't stop--we did this for about 15 minutes--then I didn't wash it off we just kind off blotted it--put on some clothes I didn't mind messing up--the next morning the rash was almost gone--I did the treatment one more time--as of this day which has been about a year--I have seen no signs of the rash--hope this will help someone else--Donna
