Honey and Royal Jelly
Posted by Pc93 (Orlando, FL) on 04/07/2014
A friend of my mom got her fingers back to normal from being all crooked from having arthritis. What did she learn of to take care of this. You get royal jelly, the best is from the local beekeeper. It will be frozen in a jar. It is whitish. You take the portion that you bought and mix it with 3x honey. So a 1 to 3 ratio of royal jelly with honey. You then take one teaspoon a day.

I found that eating gluten free stops osteoarthritis pain. The shooting, pin-like pains stop in the knuckles of my hands, shoulder and knees. It has been wonderful. In addition, when I walk too much, I use DMSO to stop the pain. Ice on my hips also stops the hip pain. It took about 3 weeks before the pain was gone. I am so thankful!! the gluten free diet also got rid of my 'wheat belly'!!
Heberden's Node Remedies

I have Osteoarthritis in my hands with Heberden's nodes on five of my fingers. I have read the older posts on this site, but was wondering if anyone out there is currently experiencing the same issue? It seems like they are getting bigger, or maybe it's just that I am so aware of them and look at them all the time! I am 41years old, and have days when the pain and swelling that is present in a few of my fingers is so bad that I have a hard time putting on my kids clothes and carrying them. I want to naturally get rid of these nodules!! Can anyone out there share their experience with me and if they have had any success in getting rid of them?
I just started taking the ACV, baking soda and honey concoction tonight. Thank you so much!

Hi Michael, I have had that problem for most of my life, my hands becoming extremely painful as it progressed. Guess what! It is gone. For many years I have treasured the booklets on Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) by Bragg, and on Blackstrap Molasses (BSM) by Dr. Lust with all that wonderful info.
Osteoartrithis is, in the books of alternative meds. Due to lack of minerals. Anyway, I love BSM and for almost three months took a large tbsp. Diluted in hot water twice a day, drinking with a straw. After almost twelve weeks my pain was gone for over four years. ACV is essential to remove calcium deposits from the joints according to Dr. Lust and these two remedies should be taken together. BSM has lots of minerals and natural iron. Prescribed iron will bring problems such viral invasions according to my experience, but not natural iron content.
According to Bragg, ACV should be taken with a tsp. of honey (or BSM) for the valuable minerals which have not been assessed so far. Honey is not straight sugar. It has been used to cure diabetes if used over time in daily doses.
So, this is my experience. Even though I have diabetes, I am using BSM daily for its invaluable benefits. Anyway, this is another subject. It comes to mind that, a couple of years ago, Opra told everyone to take BSM. So there you are.
I wish you a speedy recovery and keep in touch on EC. Om

Hi Michael from Va Beach - Have you tried pure MSM for your osteoarthritis? Many capsules have additives so your best bet would be to use the pure flakes (available through health food stores or online). One "formula" found online to help rebuild joint cartilage uses glucosamine sulfate (750 mg x twice a day); MSM (2500 mg per day in divided doses) and, if you have severe arthritis, then add chondroitin sulfate (1200 mg per day). It takes about 6 weeks to work but should decrease your pain substantially before then. The late actor James Coburn used MSM (in very large doses) for his arthritis - it didn't cure him but it stopped the crippling pain. If you do an Internet search for MSM and arthritis, you will find some interesting material. Best of luck - take care, Bess

I, too, took Apple Cider Vinegar for months (years, really) but saw no impact with my arthritis. Now I take 4 mg Astaxanthin twice a day and no pain. I also take serrapeptase whenever I get any sort of pain (migraine, muscle ache, etc) and it clears it up. I took serrapeptase for a twisted knee and, after a month, no more pain--from last summer and still fine.

Hello Michael, It's difficult to know how to advise not knowing how you eat. Over the last twenty years I learned the flowing (anti-caking) agent in commercial table salt is the culprit and is in practically everything. I use a sea salt that is considered "real" and is available at health food stores. Keep in mind that the majority of what is sold in health food stores contain other ingredients that contribute to inflammatory conditions. Turmeric and ginger reduce inflammation. You could also try BSM (blackstrap molasses) in warm water.

Walter Last provided this report on his website last year, with full information about borax (the natural, ionic form of boron), how to easily mix a diluted solution, and how much of it to take (costs pennies) - www.health-science-spirit.com/borax.htm. [Editor's Note; link no longer works]
As he advises, our soils are also depleted of magnesium. Calcium and magnesium are designed to work in partnership. Magnesium moves in and out of bones in order to hold the calcium in proper concentration. Excess calcium calcifies (ages) the joints, eyes, and organs without sufficient magnesium to calibrate it.
Dr Mark Sircus and also Dr Carolyn Dean confirm that, the best way to supplement magnesium is transdermally (through your skin). I started this 3 years ago and the changes were dramatic within a few days, because magnesium is critical for virtually every bodily function. None of my GP's ever told me!
This is very affordable. Some general practitioners use it to treat children with autism. Pharmacists know about our need for magnesium but most doctors do not (maybe because Pharmaceutical giants sponsor medical schools and influence the curriculum). Borax was removed from the EU market last year, even though it's only as toxic as table salt, so stock up now.

The antibiotics kill not only the bad baceria, but the gut flora as well and most of the immune system is in the gut. If you can get some goat yogurt this will help build up the flora again. You are twenty years old and the product of poor diets, and the guess would be the reason why you have these ailments first off would be lack of essential elements, the big worry is iodine defficiency, they used to clean the milk vats out with an iodine solution and the residue was in the milk which was enough... But they have sodded around with milk so much its getting a bit dicey. Children are actually being born with osteoarthritis these days.... Its a national scandal that the gov. Lets the lobyist protect the the big corporations that are pushing there "franken" food at the expense of the nations health. if you drink and eat a lot of dairy, the blood turns acid and uses the calcium in the bones to neutralise the acidosis. So instead of getting calcium from milk its ripping it out of the bones, and adding a lot of oestrogen. If you can afford it do a traditional japanese diet, and dont expect much impovement for a few months as it takes about three to get down to the cellular level. Start off with some kelp tablets. As a sugestion cayenne and garlic clean up the lungs fast. Bash the garlic and leave it for ten minuets and swallow it down raw. You are what you have eaten.

I have been prescribed Klacid, but have stopped taking it. Before the anti-biotics the only symptoms I had was body pain in my hips, wrists etc.
After taking the antibiotics, I started to get really fatigued, drained, loss of concentration, loss of motivation, bowel problems etc.
I need advice on what natural things I should take, what diet I should intake and possibly exercise?
I have arthritis in my hips and it is very painful, and my doctor so far has been of no hope
Thank you to anyone who reads this, I need your advise.

Hi, I have read two posts on this site from Trish from Dusseldorf, Germany on 16/02/10 and a previous one from G Michael of Reading, PA that say that eating raw organic broccoli can help osteoarthritis. Trish said she ate one small broccoli head per day. I am a bit confused what a brocolli head is? Is it a single stem (eg 2 inches across) or a bigger stem (that divides into lots of smaller stems eg 8 inches across)? Clearly it's a big difference between the two. It would be easier if someone could please tell me roughly how much would that be in grams? Thanking you in advance.

God did not do the above, it is our own selves that cause our problems in our bodies from all the crappy food we have been given through our young lives and then our choices when an adult. Herbs and spices are Gods healing medicine and that of ancient times. I wish I had know this long long ago, now I too suffer from OA of the spine in the form of DDD disc degenerative desease upper and lower spine. Spinal fusion does not work. I did research on it and it doesn't work. Disc replacement is new and the votes not in yet. Cherry's are very good in many ways see this site: http://shine.yahoo.com/healthy-living/the-miraculous-properties-of-cherries-330530.html
And the one that mentioned coconut oil, yay for you a fellow believer in the powers of coconut oil, but get the good kind not the cheap stuff. And if you are in the country where they use it for fuel to replace diesel lucky you! I am in the US and no one has done it yet. I was taking 3 tbs a day of melted oil and don't worry it takes fine. I have been forgetting to do it and I feel awful... So I just started now and I am going to get some cherries no matter the cost or juice if I can find it.

To Mumtaz & others, I also had arthroscopic knee surgery at the OsteoArthritic "Hospital" on Wellesley off Yonge St. in Toronto, Canada & only after the "simple, day surgery" was told later after a visit to my family doctor about osteoarthritis developing in the future as a result of the arthroscopic knee surgery! After tearing a meniscus and the leg swelling like a tree trunk down to the ankle, then scheduling the surgery after a "Doctor" at the local university sports clinic told me, literally red-faced, that I needed surgery! (which was cleverly sold to me by the operating surgeon Dr. Paul M. Toronto) which was scheduled 8-10 months after the initial injury, the knee and leg swelling went down within a few weeks, full flexibility (i. e. ankle able to touch back thigh) not yet as before the injury, but was much, much, much better by letting time and the body's own healing ability doing its job on its own, and all of this before the surgery! I should have listened to the inner voice and gotten up from the hospital bed that morning awaiting the anaesthetic before the Doc cut into me, even though as one of the hospital team informed me the procedures have become so advanced, "I would hardly see a scar on my leg".
If only I had known what I later learned from my G. P. even though I had specifically asked the operating doctor when I talked with him the one and only time before the surgery that I can expect osteo-arthritis in the knee as a result of the surgery.
I now know this case is not an isolated experience/incident and the guise of this needless procedure and its major consequences on one's life is the sole product of some professionally accredited liars.
I also, feel pain in my hip now on the same leg as the surgery (this reminded me of all of the ppl who were waiting at the hospital for hip replacements and I could not understand how the Creator would naturally make this to occur in our bodies solely on the basis of advanced years?
This I am sure is what is professionally opinioned to all seniors needing this done. Pls ppl do not believe the legalized scams of these professionally accredited con artists.
Good luck to all in your natural cures. Pls see the benefits and, yes, scientific studies done on the benefits of pimento oil (or "allspice" as many know from cooking a hearty meal) for osteo arthritic symptoms. I have not started using this yet as I have just found out about its reported benefits? Looks good, and seeming no need for worry about those pesky "side effects". Thanks.

In reply to Cassey: I started with Ted's topical arthritis remedy and it worked after regular applications. I tried the following variation to see if I could get more relief.
I think Ted's remedy used 50% dmso and 50% castor oil. I used 60% dmso and 40% castor oil. For a small mix that last's me quite awhile I used 3 ounces of dmso mixed with 2 ounces of castor oil in a glass jar. To this mix I added 16 generic aspirin that are labeled as 325mg each. I then added a teaspoon of borax and 5 grams of niacinamide and let the mix sit overnight. The next day I shook the mix vigorously for several minutes and added spearmint essential oil to try and calm down the unpleasant odor of the mix as well as for its antibacterial properties. Shook the mix again and started using it. I'm not recomending or suggesting that anyone else try this, just mentioning what I did and how it worked for me. I also made a point of washing my hands as well as the application area before each application. I found that this mix seems to neutralize the fragrance of the spearmint oil over time so I would never make a larger mix than this and I think a mix half this size might be better so that it get's used up faster. When I first tried this mix, I applied a very small amount to a one square inch area on my inner forearm to test for hypersensitivity or allergic reaction before applying to my problem areas the next day.

In reply to Mike from San Antonio: You mentioned that you tried hyaluronic acid, but you didn't say how much you used each day. I found that 300mg per day was a fairly effective dose for me. At 200 mg per day the positive effect was significantly less. I weigh 175 lbs. At 300 mgs per day I first noticed benefit within the first two weeks.
I take 1/4 teaspoon of borax in a liter of water 4 days per week. I use a good glucosamine combination supplement that has the following ingredients in it:
Supplement Facts:
- Serving Size: 2 Caplets
- Servings Per Container: 40
- Amount Per Serving Daily Value
- Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid) 60 mg 100%
- Vitamin D (as D3 Cholecalciferol) 2,000 IU 500%
- Manganese (as Manganese Sulfate) 2 mg 100%
- Sodium 40 mg 2%
- Glucosamine HCI 1,500 mg (1.5 g) **
- Joint Shield
- Proprietary Blend 1,350 mg (1. 35 g) **
- Chondroitin/MSM Complex 1,250 mg (1.25 g) **(Chondroitin Sulfate, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Collagen (Hydrolyzed Gelatin),
- Boswellia serrata (resin),
- Vitamin C, Manganese, Hyaluronic Acid)
- 5-LOXIN Advanced AKBA 100 mg **
- Boswellia serrata Extract (resin)
- Boron (as Sodium Tetraborate) 3 mg **
I also use Ted's topical arthritis remedy of castor oil and DMSO. I added aspirin, borax and niacinamide to the topical mix to try to improve the effect of his topical.
This combination is very helpful for me and has made a world of difference. I have degenerative disc disease, arthrits in my hips, back , neck, right knee and hands.

I don't know whether he will tell you exactly what he did.... But please try to call, if you don't manage to get the information I can try but it would be better if you did because you know what questions to ask. He is called Dr. Orlando and the phone numbers are: landline - 214785342 / 214785350 and mobile: 934782606. Please take into account the differences in the hours but you can check that online. It is a shop so they will be open during normal shopping time I would say from 9am till 12 and 3pm till maybe 6pm. If you tell him that you heard from him from Francisca, who had the knee problem and later moved to France. I think that he will remember me.....
If this approach doesn't work I can try to phone him but again I can't promise he will answer my question. And if he doesn't speak English, which he might, his assistant will because he is quite young.

A lot of my friends thanked me for this. They have been taking condroitin, glucosamine, pain killers but didn't work. I have been having osteoathritis for years on top of fibros dysplasia on the bone of my right thigh and my husband has been having backache and knee ache for so long. Thankfully, I met a very old Chinese doctor who told me to take 6 capsule (1000 mg) of Omega 3 for the first 3 months to get our system used to Omega 3. After the 3rd month, continue with just 2 or 3 (depending on how severe your aches are - I take 3 daily) for the rest of your life. It is probably not a cure but it definitely rid us of the horrible pain on our knees and back, wrist and ankles. And all my friends around my age (50 and above) tried it and they have now just depend on Omega 3 and got rid of their condroitin and glucosamine. Take them in one go. Omega 3 are harmless (they are more of EPO or fish oil) not drugs. Please do not replace Omega 3 with Fish Oil. Fish Oil does not give the same effect and may not work.

Could you please share the amounts of honey/cinnamon that you took, and how often each day you took it?
Thanks so much.
