I found an article by the Silver Health Institute which stated, “Research has shown that silver is a potent tool for use against malaria.”
Curious about the reference to research, I did some additional searching and found this study published in The Indian Practitioner in September 2010), with the very impressive title, “Silver Sol Completely Removes Malaria Parasites from the Blood of Human Subjects Infected With Malaria in an Average of Five Days: a Review of Four Randomized, Multi-Centered, Clinical Studies Performed in Africa”
In this study, researchers demonstrated that Silver Sol, a brand of colloidal silver manufactured by American Biotech Labs, was able to remove the malaria parasite from the blood of 56 human subjects in an average of just five days.
Indeed, at a concentration of only 10 ppm, the optimal dose was determined to be 15 ml twice a day. That's approximately one tablespoon, taken twice daily.
According to the study, the fastest cure rate was found to be two days, and the most days required to achieve full recovery was found to be 10 days.
According to the researchers:
“Human subjects were found to have no malaria parasites in their blood (as determined by clinical microscopy) after an average of five days of Silver Sol treatment.
No patients suffered any adverse side effects, while 100% were cured from Malaria in an average of five days.
It is concluded that Silver Sol can be taken daily to completely eliminate the malaria parasite from the blood of malaria infected subjects in an average of five days.”
Silver Sol, of course, is one of the most popular brands of colloidal silver in America, with an impressive amount of research behind it.
The prestigious Times of India reported on the above study, stating:
“Small silver nano particles infused with water can cure malaria in just three days, said Dr. B.M. Hegde, former vice-chancellor of the Manipal University.
Speaking at a lecture on energy medicine at the Voluntary Health Services on Wednesday, he said his study published in the Indian Practitioner, a medical journal on holistic healthcare, showed how tiny silver particles infused with water cured malaria in African population.”
And in Congressional testimony in 2005, William D. Moeller, president of American Biotech Laboratories has stated of colloidal silver's ability to kill the malaria parasite:
“In 2001, twelve bottles of our 10 ppm ASAP colloidal silver product fell into the hands of a medical Doctor in Rwanda, Dr. Ewabuhihl Ezechias. One day I received a frantic telephone call from Dr. Ezechias' office that was in Rwanda caring for a group of very young children who were in the last stages of malaria about to die.
Dr. Ezechias was looking for instructions on how to administer our ASAP 10 [colloidal silver] product to these desperately ill children. I suggested to the Doctor that he measure out a teaspoon or two to each of the children, two or three times a day and that he repeat the process until the children hopefully showed some improvement.
He responded abruptly that there was no time for measuring anything – the situation was far too grave for “such niceties.” All of these children had temperatures around 105 degrees, had not improved with conventional treatments and were all about to die.
He asked me if he could simply put the water into their bottles. Knowing of its totally non-toxic properties and sensing his desperation, I assured him that it would not hurt the children.
Days later, Dr. Ezechias contacted and told me that he had put the ASAP 10 ppm water directly into the drinking water bottles of 11 of these children. All 11 of the young children who received the ASAP 10 ppm got better. A week later, the 11 left his clinic alive and healthy.”
So there is indeed preliminary clinical evidence that colloidal silver works against the malaria parasite in humans.
According to the book, Biomedical Applications of Metals, a 324 page medical book, silver has demonstrated “significant activity” against malaria. The authors wrote:
“Malaria is one of the most common infectious diseases, and has become a public health problem in many countries. The ineffectiveness of treatment against this disease is the main reason behind its threat.
Current malaria treatment strategies have failed due to drug resistance in Plasmodium falciparum (the parasite that causes malaria) and drug toxicity in humans. Thus, the development of effective anti-malarial drugs is something that is needed.
Silver as discussed in the course of this chapter, presents several applications in the medical field, for the treatment of malaria; the form of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) demonstrated significant activity against the malaria parasite called P. falciparum and its vector female Anopheles mosquito.
AgNPS may be a solution for the control of this disease.”
The authors conclude by stating, “Silver has demonstrated inhibitory activity against malaria which is a dreaded disease especially in tropical and developing countries, where public health is still a problem.”
Papaya (Pawpaw) Seeds
yes, you have to chew them so that it can digested and absorbed into your system. If you do not chew them they will pass straight through you and do you no good at all ( also chew them well as the more you do the more effective the digestion and absorption into your body! )
MMS is sold on the internet
I have dabbled in MMS for other things many years ago. Anybody using the stuff should be careful. Maybe in some individuals it could have negative effects.
Where can I get mms? I have been sick with malaria and have taken all d drug available.
Hey, how'd the use of curcumin go as an anti malaria medication?
MMS helped a lot. I started with 1 drop per hour for 8 hrs a day every week. But the major side effect I encountered was that; my skin became as dry as I took the fourth dose.
That was the first, I thought may be was the cause if something else. I tried for the second time. This time I developed skin rash, which I paid 208 $ for treatment....but otherwise my chronic malaria gone...

Papaya (Pawpaw) Seeds
I want to ask, shall we going to chew Paw Paw Seed for malaria treatment?
Papaya (Pawpaw) Seeds
It is Carica papaya and not Asimina triloba.. You can blend 1 handful green seedless grapes and Carica papaya (with seeds)
Papaya (Pawpaw) Seeds
Hi, we are planing a trip with our grandaugthers to Tanzania- a malaria area , and I have read in your website about Papaya seeds as a natural remedy for preventing malaria. Please help me acertain that you mean the seeds of Carica papaya and not Asimina triloba some time called also pawpaw or common pawpaw. Thank you so much
I am going to try curcumin, as I have been suffering from malaria for the past two years. I have taken the malaria treatment and I am still suffering from relapses. This disease is one of the most delbilitating tropical diseases ever. There are times when I feel as if I am actually dying when I have a relapse. If this helps I will spread this all over the internet for those that have been sufering as I have of which I am sure there are many. I will also give you feedback should this help me.
Vitamin C and Echinacea
When Joe mentioned bloodwork, I thought he would say that there was a chance you could pass it to someone else with a compromised immune system. I seriously doubt that the parasites would someday overtake an immune system that was maintained. It is possible that the parasites can be eradicated. As mentioned above, there are other cures that would serve to force parasites from the body, such as Paw Paw seeds.
Curcumin cures malaria in animals
NEW DELHI: Curcumin, which gives turmeric (haldi) its trademark bright yellow colour, has been found to be highly effective against malaria, with a 100% cure rate in the recently completed animal trials. A study, conducted by scientists from the Indian Institute of Science (IIS), Bangalore, found that curcumin when used in combination with the anti-malarial drug of choice - Artemisinins (ART) - is not only effective in killing the parasite, but is also able to prepare the immune system against recurrence of the disease caused by leftover parasites.
Hello, This is an article I came across and would like to share with everyone on Earth Clinic. I would like to start contributing any information I come across because Earth Clinic has helped my family and me out for awhile now!
I would like to ask Dirk From Vredenburg to refer me to the distributors of MMS here in South Africa.
I had a bout of malaria last night. Did'nt know it was malaria until all the symptoms appeared. (I suppressed it by drinking in the morning half a teaspoon of peroxide mixed with half a glass of water. ) I immediately google my position (not Vredenburg SA currently) and see that it is a malaria area. I took about 15 drops of MMS and activate it with pure Lemon juice. Waited the three minutes and drank it with half a glass of water. Had a good sweat last night and felt good this morning. My urine is still very dark - at this stage Im assisting my liver by drinking Kombucha tea. Last year I gave MMS to about 100 workers of mine over a 6 month period in Zambia for malaria, and everytime it worked within 6 to 12 hours. They later prefered my 'doepa' than the dr's malaria tablets with a week sickleave!
In January 2010, I read about paw paw seeds as a cure for malaria on this site. From that time till now, over 1 year and six months, my family has been taking the seeds almost daily and we have not had malaria. Whereas, someone in the family usually had malaria at least once in two months before taking the paw paw seeds. Once when my daughter (then 8 years old) didn't take the seeds daily and exhibited symptoms of malaria, I gave her 4 seeds in the morning, afternoon and night and she was well. This is such a wonderful and natural treatment for malaria given to us by God for free. I say thank you to the person from Zambia who shared this. God bless you.
Vitamin C and Echinacea
well your method of boosting your immune system is not too bad, but I will suggest you still do a blood work, to make sure you have any malaria parasite and treat it if you have it. because your immune system may fight it but at some point the parasites will overcome it.
Fansidar (Sulfadoxine and Pyrimethamine), is a old Anti malaria drug used for prevention and cure of malaria. Here more info on the web: http://www.drugs.com/pro/fansidar.html
Before swearing of an individual drug, get information about the drug resistance level of the malaria parasite in the region you are living. For example, in Uganda the first line treatment is now Artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs). Sweet Annie (Artemisia Annua)
I didn't find it in this exciting web site Sweet annie as the best natural treatment against Malaria. Sweet Annie is not Artemisia Absinthium, but it is Artemisia Annua. A lot of vendors call Artemisia Absinthium "Sweet Annie" which is not true.

Papaya (Pawpaw) Seeds
In reply to Carrie 9/9/2009 from Dar Es Salaam, Sorry my contribution is late but I just saw your question regarding Papaya Seeds (paw paw) when one is pregnant. I have not heard of the seeds causing an issue however the leaves and fruit of green Papaya can cause miscarriage early in pregnancy. Papain or vegetable pepsin is found in Papaya's latex and leaves. Researchers have noted that unripe papaya latex acts like prostaglandin and oxytocin. Synthetic prostaglandin and oxytocin are commonly used to start or strengthen labor contractions, therefore unripe papayas may cause severe complications in pregnancy or may even cause miscarriage. Women in different parts of the world have long used green papaya and papaya seeds as a folk remedy for contraception and abortion.
Remedies From Togo
Regarding malaria and Dengue caused by mosquito problems, a very effective way to greatly reduce mosquito presence in the tropics is to grow simple plots or pots of the common Rose Geranium(Pelargonium graveolens) around your house or garden. Mosquitos, flies etc, really hate the smell of this plant whose perfume odor is actually very pleasant. A Filipino friend told me about this plant -- called Malvarosa in the Philippines where I live. And it works well.
Here is a photo of the Rose Geranium with some research details:
Papaya (Pawpaw) Seeds
Hi, I have been living in Tanzania for many years now and myself and family get malaria 2-3 times a year. Have you heard if this remedy of papaya seeds is ok if one is pregnant or for kids? I'd love to stop taking malaria meds. My kids get sick more than I do, so it would be helpful for them! Thanks a lot.
Papaya (Pawpaw) Seeds
Papaya seeds pulverized or chewed help expulsion of parasites as worms and other ascarides, and they are beneficial in case of dysentery caused by amebas. The Plasmodium, causal agent of malaria, transmitted by mosquitoes, is a parasite.

Hi, thanks for an interesting web site - I have just contracted shingles and hope your acv and cayenne will help me.
I live in a malaria area and after years of taking chloroquin and paludrin to prevent malaria, I developed an allergy to chloroquin in 1993. from 1993 to 1997 I got malaria 2- 3 times a year, each time suffering more. In 1997 i read an article in a local weekly by a Mr David Simpson (i think) who said he had been taking pawpaw pips as an anti-malarial for 20 years and had not had malaria since, despite being in a bad malaria area of Zambia. I have taken half a dozen pawpaw pips a day since then and have not had malaria again. I think you call pawpaw papaya. I rinse the seeds and freeze them for daily use and also have a tub of sun dried seeds for if i go away on trips.
EC: How interesting, thank you!
... You might never heard of methylene blue, but it was used during the Vietnam war to cure malaria. The reason for it's disuse is that taken in very high dose, it causes the urine to be blue. However, there's a cure for blue urine, it's called vitamin C sodium ascorbate! So the reason for disuse was that the doctors simply didn't give the GI's vitamin C sodium ascorbate when they injected methylene blue, or perhaps taken internally. Even so, it can easily be proven that methylene blue will become colorless. Just add drops of methylene blue in vitamin C, it will instantly become colorless. Interestingly, methylene blue works better with vitamin C, as both are related to negative hydrogen, as evidenced by the fact that if you did use ORP meter, the resultant measurement is likely to be -200 millivolts or up to -300 millivolts, which is a negative charge. Methylene blue is a negative hydrogen carrier, while vitamin C sodium ascorbate, preferably is a producer of that and is a reducing agent.

FANSIDAR: Use this medication as prescribed. this is the best cure that I have found. my children live in Africa and use this when they get malaria.
I lived 7 years in West Africa as a teenager. My family and I took medication to prevent contracting Malaria but realized after a year that it was doing more harm to our body than good. After stopping, none of us got malaria until 3-4 years later, as far as we know. After that we would get it regularly, maybe 3-6 times a year. We would always cure it with some type of medication, but my point is that we have discovered since then, the BEST way to PREVENT malaria. Malaria seems to 'break out' when the body is weaker, or in other words when the immune system is low. Maybe I have already been beaten by the female mosquito (anophel in French, sorry don't know the name in EN) but as long as my Immune System is high I can fight malaria back, or it stays dormant in my body. How do i keep my I.S. strong? VIT C and Echinacea are the 2 strongest Immune System boosters (that i know of/have heard of). My husband and I recently went back to W Africa for a visit and I didn't take any medication for malaria, i just took about 2-3000 mg of VIT C /day and a good quantity of Echinacea as well. Didn't get malaria, though I know I got exposed more than once. Hope this helps someone!
My grandfather's recipe for malaria drinks (he had 16 children in all and not one had malaria at the time of the epidemic) was to use yaka (which was seeped in warm or boiling water) where this is a common weed grass, whose scientific name is Imperata cylindrica (L.) P. Beauv. There is other names such as Imerata. arundinacea Cyr. The common name is Cogon grass.
The neem is used as a preventive because it has insecticidal properties by modifying egg laying behaviors of the mosquito, so it may have some antiparasitic properties, although not enough to stop the malaria.
As to your malaria drink of citronella, ginger, and pineapple rinds. The citronella have some insecticidal properties, although the pineapple (bromelain) has the digestive enzyme to kill the malaria, and ginger has some too. However, other digestive enzymes can be found in papaya (papain) also.
Currently wormwood (artemisia, or artemisinin) is being currently used for treating malaria perhaps it is because of its effectiveness in binding the iron, which prevents the malaria from spreading. Hence, a strong green tea and other tannin rich foods may do the same too.
Vanilla or vanillin mixed some eucalyptus or clove oil with sandalwood oil as a base applied to the skin can provide almost equal hours of protection against the mosquitoes. The reason I found out why essential oils don't work as well as a DEET in preventing a mosquito bites was that the essential oils of clove, eucalyptus, orange, and vanilla evaporates and hence, anyone with some perfumery knows that a musk is needed,in which a sandalwood for example can lower the evaporation rate, providing many more hours of protection against the mosquitoes.
However, the best way of protecting against the mosquitoes is to make sure the house is painted white, and the floor is also painted white, or use only white ceramics. Mosquitoes will be reduced by about 90% if the house were well lighted.
I also live in conditions of high rate of mosquitoes, not not anywhere near jungle conditions, but I made a black box (a carton of box with small sections like a beehive, where it sprayed with black paint, to lure the mosquito in. Inside that I can use any insecticide that leaves a chemical residues, such as pyrethrin insecticide or chrysanthemum extract dried to kill them or infect the mosquitoes with pyrethins if they were to come alive and mate. It helps reduce the population, but not anywhere as effective as dumping pounds salt in watery marshes. The salt just kills them.
In open sewer I will pour a glass of diesel fuel or even gasoline, which is done in late evening. The oil are lighter water, which causes a thin film of oils that prevent mosquitoes from laying in eggs or residing in the sewer in early morning hours when they sleep. The fumes just overcomes them.
I remember talking with a fellow chemist from Australia who told me that the water tanks they add a thin film of any oils on the water tank to prevent mosquitoes from laying the eggs. I have done it in my water tank, but it causes the water to go bad rather quickly if the water tank were already infested. However, the easy way I use is to add borax to the water tank used for cleaning purposes will work too, assuming of course borax can be found.
One interesting information is that many people know citronella drives away mosquitoes, but my own test found out mosquitoes hate a lot of essential oils, especially most effective and more pleasant smelling is the eucalyptus oil, clove oil, and vanilla.
Remedies From Togo
Hi! I read the comment on remedies for Malaria, where Tom in Thailand mentions the weed/grass Ya Ka as a common local treatment for malaria. Can you please provide any more information on this plant, for instance what its botanical name might be or what it looks like? I have the idea to try growing it here, but maybe it already does. I know locally here in Togo people will take citronelle as a tea against getting malaria, and there is a cloudy green-yellow drink brewed by the local women that is called "malaria drink", and it contains a number of different ingredients including citronelle, ginger, and pineapple rinds. People will drink it in the morning, and it makes you sweat! I also know people here in West Africa will take a strong tea of neem leaves each day as a preventative (but it is *unbelievably* bitter so I found I couldn't keep drinking it.) Anyway, thanks for any info you might be able to provide.
