Remedies for Breast Issues

If you have experienced unusual pain or even found a small lump in your breast, you may have immediately been concerned – with good reason. However, many breast conditions are quite common and are fairly easy to treat without further issues. Some of the most common breast problems, like breast tenderness and nipple discharge, can be treated using natural cures, such as primrose oil, magnesium, and dietary changes.

What Are the Most Common Breast Problems?

Common breast problems are those issues that affect the tissue of your breasts but are generally considered benign. According to the American Cancer Society, these types of problems are very common and are found in most women. Some of the most common breast problems include breast tenderness, pain, nipple discharge, and swelling. Additional benign breast conditions include individual lumps, fibrocystic tissue, infection, mastalgia, and benign tumors.

The American Family Physician explains that nearly 16% of women in the age group of 40 to 69 years experience some type of breast issue. However, the majority of those are benign cases. Issues that do require immediate evaluation are those conditions including breast masses, nipple discharge, and inflammatory skin developments.

Are There Any Natural Cures for Common Breast Issues?

It is important to seek doctor care to evaluate breast issues to determine the cause and prognosis of your condition. In most cases, however, you can effectively mediate common breast problems naturally. Some of the most effective treatment options include primrose oil, magnesium, dietary changes, relaxation techniques, and apple cider vinegar.

1. Primrose Oil

Dr. Tori Hudsom a naturopathic physician, classifies evening primrose oil as one of the best natural treatments for pain and tenderness in your breasts. The oil has soothing qualities that help reduce inflammation and relieve pain when taken as a regular treatment. You can apply primrose oil externally; however, the most effective option is to take 3 grams of the oil by mouth each day.

2. Magnesium

Magnesium is an important daily nutrient; however, it can also help alleviate breast issues. As many conditions of the breast arise in conjunction with a woman’s menstrual cycle, magnesium, a nutrient that has been shown to reduce premenstrual symptoms, is also effective for relieving pain and discomfort associated with breast problems. You should take a standard dose of 310mg per day.

3. Dietary Changes

According to Mayo Clinic, making specific dietary changes is one of the best ways to mediate breast issues. Consider eliminating caffeine, following a low-fat diet, and eating more complex carbohydrates. These changes help reduce inflamed tissue in your breasts and also control pain.

4. Relaxation Techniques

Mayo Clinic also touts relaxation techniques as an effective way to relieve breast pain and improve lymphatic flow. Practices like meditation and yoga help you reduce and manage your stress levels and, in turn, your pain.

5. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is one of the most commonly supported treatments by our Earth Clinic readers. ACV helps with decalcification throughout your body and also balances your pH to treat other issues. For the best result, drink a tonic of 2 tablespoons of ACV diluted in 8 ounces of water twice a day every day.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Posted by Grandmama-d (Nashville, Tn) on 04/18/2012

I found a lump in my underarm pit near my breast that had not been there just a few days prior. I immediately started taking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a small amount of water (probably 10 tablespoons of water or less), three times a day. Within a week the lump had disappeared completely. The lump felt like the classic lump I was taught to feel for in my self breast exam and it was as hard as a rock. Although the lump was gone I continued the apple cider vinegar routine. Hope this helps.

I've taken apple cider vinegar (organic with the "mother") for about 10 years now for a variety of reasons. I too had breast calcifications and they are now gone for several years now (not sure exactly how many).

I take 1 tablespoon in about 10 to 12 ounces of water in the mornings, about 5 mornings per week, first thing on an empty stomach. After a few months, I added about 1/2 teaspoon of baking sofa to the mixture to help with constipation. I also take about 1/2 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with a pinch of baking soda in 6 ounces of water at bedtime for indigestion (about 5 out of 7 nights).

I do take some other supplements, but I believe the breast calcifications disappeared with the apple cider regime.

This is belated THANK YOU to Earth Clinic and those who share on the site. In Dec 2014, I posted that the doctor found calcification in my breasts after a regular mammogram. I read here that Apple Cider Vinegar destroys calcification and went about taking it as advised on this site. Well, I went for a second mammogram in early Jan 2015 and NO calcification was found!! Praise God and thank you Earth Clinic!

The most common or standard ACV daily intake is 2 Tbsp. Braggs is our favorite but any one non-negotiable is that contains the 'mother'. It will have a cloudy sediment at the bottom of the bottle. You should always dilute apple cider vinegar in water or some other liquid before drinking. Otherwise, the acidity could end up harming your tooth enamel or burning your throat. Always shake the bottle thoroughly before use as the mother tends to settle at the bottom. Some apple cider vinegars remove the mother because of the cloudy appearance, which can lead the unknowing to question if the product has gone bad. But this is not the case. Fact is, the mother is the best part! It has dozens of strains of good bacteria as probiotics.

You can take this at once or divided doses AM/PM. We take ours in an 8 oz glass of water with either honey or stevia (not sugar). We've tried adding it to our lrg 40oz insulated stainless water bottles together with our daily electrolytes. especially in the hot summers. In the winter we enjoy it in hot water, maybe a little cinnamon, and it tastes like a hot apple flavor drink. Others I know take 1-2 tsp three times per day, while some do this 20 min before a meal as the mother also contains enzymes, which are essential for breaking down foods so that your body can make use of the nutrients you consume. You may be a person who jumps right in day one while another will start with a half does and increase. Listen to your body and see what works best for you. If you're not seeing the results you hoped for do increase up to 2 Tbsp daily and give it a little time. And be sure to give yourself a little TLC each day :) ♥

My doctor had me going for mammograms every 6 months for the last 4 years due to multiple cysts in my breasts. I read that breast cysts can be a precursor to breast cancer so I started researching ways to get rid of them. I found an enzyme (Serrapeptase) which claimed to "eat away" at cysts. So I skipped my 6 month visit and took it nightly for a year. Then went back for my mammogram. No mention of cysts in the report. I even called my doctor to have them check the report for mention of cysts and they said there was no mention of cysts at all. So I'm claiming it worked. I will continue to take it nightly.

Do your research folks, only one brand was used in the clinical trials so be wary of imitations. BTW, it will give you indigestion if you don't follow the directions and take it on an empty stomach.

Please be careful (or consider not taking Serrapedtidase and other enzyme supplements) if you have even a mild blood condition. I have Thalasssemia minor (a normally non-serious genetic blood condition), and took enzyme supplements to help with female problems, and my health got so messed up that my Doctor thought I had cancer! Also, don't take these supplents if you are on ANY blood thinner.

I used a makeup cotton pad and put a mixture of castor oil and frankincense oil on the pad, then put it inside my sports bra and wore it there all night every night for the past four days. The cyst was the size of a large gum ball. Now it's the size of a small gum ball in just 4 days! I'm honestly amazed!

I have a breast cyst that during an ultrasound was shown to be complex (three small cysts linked together). Due to a small "hot spot" (signifying blood flow) showing up in the tissue surrounding the cysts, doctor said I needed a biopsy performed. I asked that I be referred to a doctor in a larger city nearyby for a second opinion, my doctor agreed, however before the appointment could be made my doctor called back and said they looked at my ultrasound/mammogram results again and don't think a biopsy is needed afterall, just a repeat ultrasound in six months. It sounds very suspicious to me that the doctor changed his mind when a second opinion was requested... At any rate, are there any natural therapies I can try to get rid of the cyst? I've had the cyst for at least a year, and have a couple of other ones that aren't considered complex. I'm not sure what to do, I fear any second opinion by a surgeon will result in some type of surgery...

Hi Debbers, I had multiple cysts both breast big like 25 cents and was ready to go for an operation. I took iodine kelp, vit e, selenium, vit c. is very effective. Add to your diet flax seed, almond, walnut and oats. No fatty food, caffeine, avoid sweet, chocolate, dairy product like cream, whole milk. Try this and you will be cured. It took a year to dissolved and I am totally free from cyst.

Hello

First, thank you all for your work in helping all of us take better control of our health, I am very grateful for the knowledge I have gained from this site. I was hoping you could offer a little advice for trying to reduce a breast cyst.

A brief history on me is a cyst ( size of a grape) was found after self exam, then a mammogram, ultrasound and needle aspirate which showed it to be benign. That was 2 years ago. I am 42 also have benign thyroid nodules. I have been determined to rebalance my body and eliminate these issues.

I started Iodoral 5 months ago, along with Vit C powder, Selenium 200mcg, food based multi vitamin, mag citrate 200mg and Vit D 2000 - 4000IU/day. This plan has already softened my breast tissue dramatically. Aside from the cyst they don't feel lumpy / bumpy as my doctor said 2 years ago.

Last month I increased magnesium to 500mg and reduced Vit D to 2,000 and added 250 mg of coral calcium/day. Still wondering how much calcium is needed if I eat plenty of green foods and take a green drink daily.

The breast pain has reduced dramatically but the cyst feels a lot harder. Still smooth, movable and slightly increases in size before my period which is also irregular, every 5 -7 weeks.

My question is I would like to know if I should change anything I am doing. I know to be patient and that this can take many months to resolve. As of this week I am adding 1/2 tsp of baking soda and either 2 TBLS of lemon/lime or ACV 2 x per day. And will do this 5 day's per week.

I sleep well, rarely eat sugar or high GI foods, of healthy weight and have plenty of energy. Overall I feel great but do have frequent lower abdominal bloating. Which is why I cleaned up my diet. Candida my be a possible cause I discovered after taking a candida survey. Hope the baking soda and ACV helps with that too.

I just want to get things back in balance. I know many women like this and want to offer them this information too. I am also going to have thermogram done this month.

Thank you for reading all of this and for your help.

Kind regards,
Kelly

Hi Kelly - I, too, had benign breast cysts and what really helped me was painting a quarter-size spot of iodine on my breasts every evening before bed (wait until it dries because it stains). Eventually my cysts disappeared. I used Lugol's and it was recommended by my doctor. If you type in iodine cysts on Google, there is a lot of great information on it. Good luck!

Hi Kelly - I applied Lugol's (it was a 5% solution from Xenex labs) every day for about three months before the cysts finally disappeared (they decrease in size very slowly). It was frustrating at first because I thought nothing was happening but it's a very gradual process. By the way, the doctor who suggested this was Dr. David Derry (no longer practicing) in Victoria, BC. I went to him for thyroid problems. He said many thyroid patients have cysts. I'm very thankful I met such a forward-thinking doctor. Have you been tested for hypothyroidism? I know the normal range was changed several years ago so a lot of folks are now being properly diagnosed. Good luck!

I am also doing baking soda 1/4 tsp plus 2 TBLS ACV in a half cup of very dilute apple juice 2 x/day, 5 days on and 2 off for a few rounds. Plus magnesium, Iodoral and the companion supplements. I am hoping in a matter of months things beome more balanced.

Thank you again for your help.

Eliminating milk products and wheat drastically reduced the size of my cysts and eliminated the soreness. Benign uterine and breasts cysts are common in my family of mostly women. I believe (not my doctor) that milk and wheat affect my hormones and cause the cysts. When I went on a low carb diet of mostly veggies, fruit, and meat, the uterine cysts shrunk, became softer, and stopped hurting. Plus, my near month long periods went back to 4 normal days. This took 3 weeks. I had not had 4 day periods since I was 30. I've come to believe that hormones & casein of cows milk and the estrogen of wheat adversely affects female breast and uterine tissue. I was once told by a psychic to stop consuming both if I wanted good health. He said that cow milk is for baby cows and grain is for cattle. He recommended the diet I mentioned above. But, at time, I loved my ice cream. Now I know he was totally correct. Everything improves when I keep milk and grains out of my system.

Last year my boyfriend discovered my breast lump which was the size of a grape. I took Lugol's 7% solution and increased my daily dose of natural Thyroid. I also take Zinc, Magnesium, D3, L-Tyrosine, Flaxseed oil, EPO, Selenium, Vit C, L-Lysine, Biotin, Cranberry, and a natural Fruit/Veggie based vitamin. I try to do raw fruit/veggie smoothies several times a week. The lump was gone by the time I went in for a mammogram. I believe that my past history of breast lump, goiter, and ovarian cysts was caused by lack of iodine & insufficient thyroid hormone treatment.

I was diagnosed with breast cysts, plus also had a needle biopsy which concluded I also have atypical ductal hyperlasia on one side. The doctor had mentioned that it isn't serious at this time, but would like to operate to make sure. I definitely don't want to go through another operation, and wish to do natural remedies if possible. I used to exercise regularly, but haven't been able to for the last couple of years. At being 43 and no history of any breast cancer in our family, is there alternate routes I could take to prevent any more calcifications? And/or should I monitor and see what the future holds?

My naturopath recommended Lugol's, eight drops per day, for asthma. I took it as directed and it completely cured a completely different problem. My breasts has been so painful, for nearly a year, that I had to hold them still with my hands when I got out of bed, crying from pain. Lugol's completely cured this. The largest levels of iodine in the body is found in the thyroid. The blood circulates through the thyroid every so often as part of the immune system which is part of what makes iodine levels so important.

The second largest level of iodine is found in breast tissue. This explains why you found relief after taking the Lugol's Iodine. Blessings, Robin

A breast cyst tends to form whenever blood sugar spikes causing the solubility of the calcium from the bones to be increased by 20 times solubility of calcium more then average. Whenever a tissue or a muscle is damaged, assuming the breast from bruises the blood circulation may get obstructed, and once the area heals, the blood leaves, but not the calcium and you get a breast cyst. To neutralize or prevent such formation, blood sugar spikes is best avoided by drinking plenty of water (with a pinch of sea salt) before during and after meals, a chromium supplements (I personally used chromium chloride - so most chromium sold in markets are o.k.). This chromium will reduce blood sugar, which in turn reduces blood calcium and excessive clotting, which in turn reduce the cysts. In which case if a cyst is formed, controlling blood sugar is the primary method. But long term cysts tend to cause pain and a calcium antagonists magnesium, the preferred form is magnesium citrate, magnesium chloride for example, 250- 500 mg a day is used which will reduce the pain. A more serious condition may require disodium EDTA supplements, but the dose I used is far lower then those used commercially in oral chelation therapies., which is only between 10-50 mg., with preferably 10-25 mg. This won't lower the calcium a lot, but sufficient to prevent excessive calcium buildup and it is not taken everyday either. It's taken only once every two or three days. However for most condition, I believe a simple baking soda and lemon is much more easier to use, as citrates also chelate calcium too, but on a limited scale withouth some undo problems of the stronger EDTA, which I view as somewhat agressive. Of course, an EDTA once a week is more ideal as it prevents heavy metal accumulation, which some metals are free radical and tend to be cancer causing, would be more suitable approach.

The lemon/lime juice is 2 tablespoon of lime juice plus baking soda 1/2 teaspoon taken twice a day should help normalized most of the blood calcium issue, while chromium supplements such as 500-1000 mcg, will reduce the calcium solubility. The effects of alkalization will prevent the leeching effects of the bones so the bones stay in place. Magnesium would in the end fortify the bone to be more resilient. Calcium alone wouldn't do it. It's like a chalk. But magnesium added would add resilence to the bone and also reduce the leeching effects thus reducing the high blood calcium that causes cyst. In my observation most of the cysts comes from high sugar consumption, metabolic acidosis (from chlorine and fluorine exposure), use of artificial sweetners (aspartame ultimately breaks down formaldehyde which destroys the body's equilibrium in maintaining stable pH), and also exposure to hydrocarbons. Those are the primary causes of cysts. However, they can also form from excessive use of antibiotics, which tends to increase heavy metals, metabolic acidosis, which ultimately forms a cysts, or in other areas such as the lungs, which tends to form calcification and that shows up in x-rays.

A natural vitamin E is fine, but a cyst generally takes time to reduce it's size, but the fastest I have seen is bloodroot tincture (sanguinaria) taken a couple of drops a day. Most cysts are accumulated calcium and magnesium supplements also speed up the process. The first is to get rid of the pain, then the second is to reduce the size, which takes awhile. It helps to remove metallic wire in the bra to help circulation too. Some disodium EDTA helps for a woman, but only a small dose, to reduce calcium, but it may have an effect of making menstruation period longer and then a vitamin K is needed. A magnesium supplement is more gentle in displacing them. A selenium supplements also have some anti cancer properties too. A cysts generally exists whenver our body has two things, too much calcium, and lack of magnesium. To accelerate the process, metabolic acidosis, or being acid for a very long period of time. A cyst takes years to form and perhaps can be reduced to within months if taking the right thing, but to take a week or so is difficult, with the possible exception of bloodroot tincture extract, which might reduce in half within matter of days. But they seem to be more active on the more malignant cancer and is slower on benign ones and non cancerous ones.

Hi Rena.

I have also had breast cysts for most of my life. I only recently found some relief. Have you tried iodine supplementation? I take two particular potassium iodide/iodine supplements. One of the supplements has other ingredients that are helpful for the thyroid. I have read that iodine gets rid of breast cysts. Along with the iodine supplements I have been taking the herb Maca. Somehow, the combination of these three supplements has made my breasts feel normal again. I ran out of Maca last month and just skipped it until I reordered it. During the time I skipped it, I had painful breasts again. Also I have noticed that my PMS is virtually non-existent; I sometimes get a little emotional but don't have many physical ailments (sore breasts). If you would like the brand names of where I got these supplements, feel free to email me and I'll be happy to share! Laura

Dear Shoegirl, You need to know that Maca is merely a peruvian turnip. You can use broccoli sprouts, juiced broccoli, kale, cabbage, or regular turnips and also probably find a similar effect. I don't know why it would help your breasts but the sulphoraphane (isothiocyanate) in maca and other cruciferous family veggies are a prefered substrate for iodine and will interefer with its absorbtion by the thyroid and so an extra source of iodine should be used like kelp or occasionally short term potassium iodide(very high iodine levels).

The baking soda/lemon is taken along with chromium supplements. However, magnesium is also needed, such as 250-500 mg. The magnesium is antagonistic to the calcium. Pain can easily be reduced usually within 3 to 4 days with the magnesium supplements. However, I have found increasingly more chlorine, fluorine and bromine in the U.S. diets that it is suppressing the body's hormones, immune system and hence, a vitamin C at least 500 mg is preferably mixed in a drinking water with just one drop of Lugol's solution (iodine mix that contains the iodine and iodide). The reason is that iodine is very alkaline and this can be proven after taking them before and immediately taking that the alkalinity using the pH paper of both the saliva and urine becomes more alkaline, hence I now use iodine as one of my favorite alkaline substances, beside the previous post of baking soda, potassium bicarbonate, potassium citrate, sodium citrate, sodium carbonate and potassium carbonate. What iodine does to cyst is it increase the body's immune system, but it also increases the body' enzyme to digest it. A digestive enzyme taken on empty stomach may also help further, reduce the cyst. However, most of the results will be seen with magnesium supplements if there is a pain coming from the breast cysts, but the more complete the supplement, the more synergistic it is, without the need of taking unreasonably high dose of either one or the other supplements.

Can anyone suggest please what is the best way to get rid of this small lump. I have no family history and my mom had lump in her breast for years with no side effects. She got it removed recently. I do not trust doctors very much as I know they got to maximize profit and manimize costs and a nurse friend keep telling us how it is all mainly a buiness.. I think there must be a natural way to help myself and remove this small lump naturally?? Also should I take anything before my breast scan?I am due to be screened this Thursday the 2nd-Aug.

Turmeric, turmeric, turmeric. Research this on google. I drink it in a drop of milk, and use just the powder rather than capsules. A small sprinkle three times daily. :) Good Health.x

Vitamin E needs to have all eight families to serve the bodies needs. Its a bit pricey but well worth it.

Breast Discharge

Posted by Sculley (Asheville, North Carolina) on 04/07/2009

Thank you sooooo much for this website!!! Is it okay to post a question for help or just a post about a remedy? If question okay....

I started having an amber color discharge upon expression (squeezing) from two of my ducts in my right breast. I told my physician and she told me to go to a breast specialist. I didn't want to make a huge deal about it and read on the internet that it usually isn't a sign of cancer, however, it kept saying that if there's blood in the discharge, you should go to your doctor and get it checked out. Well, about a year or so later, the discharge from one of the ducts started turning a deeper color so I finally made the appointment with the specialist The doc tested it and it did, indeed, test for blood. She also found a lump next to the nipple at 9 o'clock. She said she thinks it's related to the duct with the discharge (and I think that's true b/c when I squeeze the lump spot, the discharge comes out). She did an ultra sound and there was a cyst that she said she's not concerned about but that the lump didn't show up. She said it could be four things: a pappiloma (wart), don't remember two of the other things and cancer. However, I just read this:

Most often, nipple discharge stems from a noncancerous (benign) condition. However, breast cancer is a possibility, especially if:

- You are over age 40
- You have a lump in your breast
- The discharge contains blood
- Only one breast is affected

Okay, now I am scared -- I can say "yes" to all of the above. Breast specialist told me she wanted me to do a ductogram and a mammogram. I told her I'd think about it and instead went to a homeopath. I tried a remedy for two months. Nothing changed. I followed up with the breast specialist and this time she said that nothing had changed and that her recommendation had changed to doing a biopsy and a mammogram. The problem is that the "biopsy" for this kind of thing is actually surgery -- it's taking the whole duct out to see what's causing the bleeding. I checked this on the internet and it seemed that that is what all the sites were saying too. However, I did read a site where some other women had the same symptoms and did everything the docs suggested (mammo, ducto, biopsy/surgery and cat scan or a test like that) and it ended up being nothing.

I am much more of the natural/holistic persuasion and would much rather do this holistically. I am trying acupuncture right now with a long-time acupuncturist who specializes in breast cancer and breast issues. I've been going once a week for six or seven weeks. I also had a lymph massage and went to an energy healer. Nothing's changed and if anything, I think it might now also be swollen in a line next to the "lump". I do have pain (not severe) in the breast.

Do you know what this is or should I treat like cancer? Acupuncturist said she didn't think I have cancer. Any and suggestions would be so welcome!

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

I'm going against the general spirit of the site on this one - stop messing around and get that properly diagnosed by a specialist ASAP. If it is indeed cancer, well it's up to you if you want to try natural cures or orthodox medicine, but you can't even begin to decide on a course of action until you actually know for sure what you have. An acupuncturist cannot tell you whether or not you have cancer. You REALLY need to get that seen to by the specialist.

We who prefer the natural ways should be careful not be extremist about it - that's ultimately no better than believing only orthodox medicine can help someone. There is certainly value in orthodox medicine and its technology and it would be foolish to dismiss it entirely just because we don't agree with all of it. It's the wisdom to know when and why to seek help through that route that we must strive for. I strongly believe this is one of those times. Please get it checked out, and I hope you'll come back with an update (may it be a happy one!). Sending warm wishes for your health.

EC: Great advice, thanks T. Agree 100%.

As a breast cancer survivor, PLEASE go and get a diganosis from a doctor. Hopefully it's nothing and you can go on with whatever treatment you choose, but in the event it is cancer, you are wasting precious time and the possibility of it spreading beyond your breast into other areas of your body.

I'm all for natural cures, however from reading this board and others, it seems many people never take the time to get properly diagnosed, then proceed to treat themselves according to what they THINK they have (which often doesn't work b/c they're treating the wrong illness). Many ailments have very similar symptoms and unless the proper tests are done you won't know for sure.

If you don't want the more invasive procedure, ask them to do the biopsy first, but the fact that when you returned to your doctor a few months later they recommended a more advanced procedure would lead me to believe they think it's something more then just a benign cyst or wart.

Wishing you the BEST of Health!

T from Maryland, thank you so much for your directness. So you would agree to do a mammogram and the surgery? The acupuncturists left it up to me but when I asked, they did comment that there's a point or meridian that goes right through the breast and they said they never needle there and putting a knife in there and cutting it out is much more than a needle. I scheduled a thermogram for tomorrow. What do you think of that? Also, the acupuncturist specializes in cancer and they said they don't think I have it (I know they're not supposed to be diagnosing).

Hi Scully :) I don't know much about thermogramography but it seems like a good step in the diagnostics, and from what I understand it can do you no harm. I'd personally add the mammogram as well and then take it from there, just step by step, see what the docs say about these test results before deciding on biopsy. I definitely hope your acupuncturist is right, but find out for absolute certain. Better safe than sorry with a thing like this, and if it is indeed nothing (praying so!) then you'll still have a great benefit - having the fear and worry lifted from you! Simply getting a big stressor like that off your back can only be good for your overall health. I'll be thinking of you and sending prayers your way...please do let us know how it's going, ok?

B from Washington, DC, Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it. Just to clarify, the reason I have been hesitant about the "biopsy" is b/c it is the surgery. The biopsy is taking the whole duct out b/c of the nature of the problem. My DC/herbalist thinks I'm fine, and said that I need that tissue/ lymph. So, I've been getting confirmation on both sides. I appreciate your feedback and will be making a decision soon. Thermogram today. I hear that cat scans are almost 100% effective compared to mammograms.

Please know that mammograms give women cancer via radiation and digital thermography does not, with thermography, doctors can detect cancerous tumors in its early stages.

If you want to enlarge your breasts try massaging them nightly. Do it any way you choose but try to make it a real workout for them. Do this 10-20 minutes at the end of the day and they should be tired and a bit sore by nightime. You will increase your bosom.

I had a similar experience about 15 years ago after having a mammogram that I think was too intense. My skin had red streaks afterwards. Some time after that my left breast started a yellowish discharge and eventually began to bleed. It was diagnosed as an intraductal papilloma and I had to have it removed surgically. There was a soft lump at the incision site and it remained soft for many years. Lately it has become harder but not larger. I'm thinking it has calcified or turned into a cyst. I am going to increase my iodine to see if this helps. I blame the mammogram for this problem and avoid them altogether now.

Hello! What can I do to increase the size of my breasts naturally? I have read about some herbs like pueraria mirifica, massaging the breasts, etc... Also, when I started taking the pill my breasts got fuller, so I know something was going on there... Thanks!

The herbs that will enhance breast size are Saw Palmetto, Wild Yam and Fenugreek. There are breast enlargement pills that contain all three, that seem to have good reviews. However you can buy all three herbs individually for a lot less.

Massaging your breasts, I'm assuming, is a form of jelqing, which is done in many cultures by men, since the beginning of time, to increase the size of their member. I have a friend who was rebounding (using a mini trampoline) as exercise and claimed that her bust was increasing in size. This is the first thing I thought of.

Maca tends to cause weight gain in the breast and buttocks area. I used it to help with my infertility issues, one of the side effects was breast enhancment. I used it daily for 6 months and stopped after regulating my cycles. I used Nativas raw Maca 1-2 Tbls every morning with orange juice. While others may like the taste, it made me gag - but orange juiced masked it for the most part. There are some blogs dedicated to natural breast enhancement that you may find helpful. Good luck.

Hi Ted,

Are there truly any specific combinations of herbs to help adult women's breasts grow bigger and firmer? If so, what are they and how much and how often should they be taken? I am in my thirties and have always had an A cup. I would like to grow a little bigger through natural means, if possible.

Thank you!

The vitamin shop and GNC sell them. Type in the search natural breast enhancement! You be surprised how many companies produce them! Look at the ingredients and compare them to get a general understanding! I'm in the same boat! Haven't bought them, because I'm addressing other issues first! But would really love updates if whatever you try works or even does not work! GOOD LUCK, ;)

Hi Angela, my breasts were never as small as yours, therefore I never worried about them but I can tell you that for many women, myself included, having children makes the breasts grow, so much so that nowadays I wish mine were smaller.... No idea whether you have children or are intending to have any in which case I would say: wait and see! And remember... Bigger breasts sag more.... Not nice either!
