Colloidal Silver, Coconut Oil
Posted by Dina (Toronto, Ontario) on 03/26/2009

Hi, Cradle cap and even baby acne for my son was cured in about a week. I used Colloidal Silver to cure the acne, it's gentle enough to even put in a babies eyes, so this is fine. I even gave him a few drops in his mouth usually every day, he was not sick until 7 months old when a doc told me to stop using it. Anyway, I used a cotton ball to apply the silver (or clean fingers), then put Pure Extra Virgin Coconut Oil on his dry/acne skin. Within a week or so it was gone! My baby had acne even on his earlobes...

My son has had GERD since birth, along with it came asthma, seasonal allergies, indoor allergies and food allergies. Our son takes quercitin--natural bioflavonoid, it has been a God send! however, it never stopped his GERD.. He drinks 4 oz of water every day 3 times a day as well. He also takes prevacid adult dose of 15 mg and it is not right to do this to a child with an adult dosage.. Please respond

Turmeric for Boils
Posted by Lori (Orlando, FL) on 02/18/2009

Recently my 2 year old daughter has started developing small boils/abscess that resemble insect bites with a purulent center on her lower abdomen. They dont bust or drain, but they get red and painful to touch. Our diet has changed recently due to moving, unable to cook healthy meals. We drink alkalized water, level 3. I cant seem to get her to drink ACV for obvious reasons. I've been increasing the probiotics in her milk/juice and she takes fish oil gel capsules daily. I don't want to start her on antibiotics. I'm going to start cleaning the bumbs with ACV, maybe a ACV soaked cotton ball and band aid. I know turmeric works well for MRSA/boils but that is impossible to get into a 2 year old. How else can I get her alkaline and fight these boils?

Posted by Ruma (Calcutta, India) on 02/19/2009

Turmeric is a hard one to like. It is sometimes mixed with liberal amounts of honey just to get kids to swallow the stuff. But, then again, the turmeric we use in India for medicinal purposes is always fresh, never powder, so I am not sure how the powder would mix with the honey. I have seen fresh turmeric in some shops in the US, but I am sure it will be difficult to track down.

I also have a 2 year old daughter. To get her to drink ACV, I measure a 1/2 teaspoon into her 8 ounce milk cup at the start of the day (more than that amount is noticed by her). Once all of the milk with ACV is drunk, then I serve her regular whole milk for the rest of the day. This was the only way I could get her to ingest it for her breathing and sinus ailments. When needed, I use the mixture 5 days on and 2 days off.

Hi, you could perhaps try adding a little bit of vinegar to some apple juice to disguise the taste ( I would try adding a little bit of baking soda to some ACV, allowing it to react for about 5 minutes and then adding it to some good quality apple juice, with no high-fructose syrup, etc), also you can add turmeric to your child's diet by using it in the foods you cook, for instance, you can add a little bit of turmeric to sauteed onions and then use the seasoned onions to make a soup or any other dish. Another thing would be adding a little bit of coconut oil to make fruit smoothies (just blend some milk with a banana and the oil), etc.

Sandra- Thank you for the tip. I can definately sneak the ACV into some apple juice. I completely forgot about VCO, I can mix that into her yogurt. I started applying ACV to the boils last night. They seemed a bit smaller this morning. Last night I encouraged (more like enforced) her to drink about 2 oz of ACV/baking soda in alkalized water. We shared the glass. I also use turmeric in my cooking, I just dont believe a teaspoon of turmeric in my meals will make a difference. I will remain hopeful and appreciate everyone's input.

Ruma- Thank you for your response. I give my daughter a babyspoonful of raw honey about two times a day (breakfast and bedtime). I could try mixing a little turmeric into it, however I'm afraid it might discourage her from taking it the next time. It's already somewhat of a struggle to get her to swallow it as is, she is getting better at it because it is our routine. I will definately give it a try.

I have a son that is 7 mo. old I recently took him to the doc for a staph infection on his thigh & he is almost done with his antibiotics. I would much rather treat his staph infections naturally. Is it safe for an infant to drink apple cider vinegar?? What other ways could I treat his staph that arent too difficult??? I have a hard enough time getting him to take his antibiotics.

Cavities
Posted by Jsingh (Mon, Canada) on 01/23/2009

Would appreciate if you could provide any help on this post. My son who is turning seven soon has had cavities fro some time. The cavities have seem to gone out of control as some of his teeth have degenerated also. We went to see a dentist and they are talking about extraction of some teeth and also about filling in some. I was quite discouraged as we have always watched on his health. We have not used flouride toothpastes and haven't given him a lot of sugar. However for around a month now I have incorporated Xylitol as a sugar substitute in his milk and he also chews xylitol chewing gum. In addition I have introduced Butter oil(clarified butter) along with multi Vitamin in his diet. He has also been introduced to consuming eggs and his intake of milk also increased, another thing I have added in his diet is wheat germ. These dietary changes were incorporated after reading Nutrition and Physical degeneration by Dr Weston Price.

In addition I have him use Tooth soap for cleaning, followed by tooth swish of himalayan crystal salts which has remineralizing capabilities I guess, in addition also have him swish for a minute diluted oregano oil which definitely seems to have improve his breath and some bleeding that he had from gums once in a while. This regime is followed in the morning and before going to bed.

I was looking for some guidance on this as I really do not want him to go thru this extraction, filling etc invasive Procedures at such a young age. The dentist that we saw today also wante to put him on antibiotic 4 times a day.

Please let me know your thoughts on this, Thanks in advance for your reply.

Jagjeet

Maybe wild oregano oil found at vitacost found on the internet may help, you can also read what others have to say about certain products. Here's a web site for information about oregano oil and cavities: http://www.squidoo.com/stoptoothrot

you may want to read the book: The Cure Is in the Cupboard: How to Use Wild Oregano for Better Health by Cass Ingram found at: amazon.com.

Colostrum may help too.

Posted by Ted (Bangkok, Thailand) on 01/26/2009 391 posts

Dear Jagjeet: The most common problems about multiple cavities indicates usually a molybdenum deficiency (protects against cavities and helps remineralization, without the toxicity of fluoride), a potassium is lacking in the diet, and the pH of the mouth is constantly acid. It is rare that a child has a bad breath problem. A xylitol is not a xylitol if they added aspartame which may make the conditions much worse. I often buy a pure powdered xylitol 1/4 teaspoon for something to keep around the mouth for awhile to kill off the bacteia. The natural terrain in the mouth has to be ALKALINE is the single most important factor. A constipation can give rise to acidity which causes the mouth to be acid. However, certain bacteria also grows faster if the body lacks magnesium. Therefore assuming an adult requiring 1/4 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate and 1/4 teaspoon of potassium bicarbonate (or tripotassium citrate) in 1/2 glass of water, a child half the weight of a small adult of 100 pounds, will require 1/2 of the dose. This should naturally raise the pH of the mouth discourabng the bacteria. Since an adult requires 500 mg of magnesium citrate, a dose 1/2 based on 1/2 weight of an adult may require about 250 mg or perhaps 100 mg depending on weight with plenty of water should discourage most of the cavities. Since one of the indicators of a molybdenum deficiency is nightblindness or difficult to see in the dark but also the fact that molybdenum is an anticavity supplements I usually may take say 5-25 mg of molybdenum. In commercial molybdenum supplements the dose are smaller therefore it's usually is taken whatever amount they give us to prevent a deficiency and may help reduce cavity from a molybdenum deficiency which may initiate a cavities.

Hello Jsingh, You said you aren't giving that seven year old much sugar, but is a good part of that sugar in carbonated beverages? If so, all carbonated beverages are acid and the acid eats into the enamel on the teeth causing cavities. They are said to be more harmful to the teeth than a candy bar, but omitting or at least limiting both is a good idea.

Some dental problems are started by the habit of letting an infant or toddler go to bed with a bottle of milk. Matter of fact, the medical field tagged tooth decay from this problem as "milk teeth" in discussions of it.

However there has been very less carbonated sweetened drinks also in his diet, we rarely do have them at home. So really haven't been able to pinpoint the problem...

My son used to have terrible teeth. I say USED TO because we have had marvelous success! When my son was 6 1/2 our regular dentist sent us to a pediatric dentist to have a couple of cavities filled. The pediatric dentist decided to put in 2 crowns because the structure of the teeth was so terrible. Yikes! Crowns at 6! Shortly after that I stopped buying breakfast cereal because it was killing our budget. Keep in mind, I NEVER bought "sugary" cereal. It was always organic, low-sugar "healthy" cereal. I have always been health-conscious and limited the sugar my children ate, which is why it was so discouraging for my son to have such horrible teeth.

At my son's next appointment (6 months after I started feeding him eggs for breakfast instead of cereal) our dentist sent us back to the pediatric dentist to get another small cavity filled. The pediatric dentist decided not to fill the cavity because it was so small and my son's oral hygiene was so much better. (I do NOT believe that this was due to better brushing. His brushing habits have not changed).

Shortly after that I read Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon, which is the cookbook based on Weston A. Price's research. I started feeding my children raw milk from grass-fed cows, farm eggs, homemade bread (with delayed-fermentation techniques), honey, etc. At my son's next 6-month dentist appointment I asked the dentist how the cavity was. The dentist said THERE WAS NO CAVITY. IT WAS GONE AND THE TOOTH WAS COMPLETELY HARD!!!!!! I have never heard of a cavity healing, but my son's did! The news made my whole year!

Keep following the Weston A. Price-type recommendations and you're sure to find improvement.

Also, relating to the recommendation above about keeping the body alkaline, Kombucha is very alkalinizing. I make it at home as it is way too expensive to buy. My children absolutely love it. They think it tastes like pop, but of course it's completely healthy.

Kaylin, thanks for posting your experience! I've heard of cavities filling back in - my daughter has 2 cavities and I don't want to have them filled. Every other part of our body can heal itself given the right nutrition and environment, why not our teeth? I've just read an article written by a dentist that linked homogenized milk to cavities.

Cod liver oil is reported to help cavities heal, and I know having a mineral supplement can help with re-mineralization of teeth. I've also been reading that oil pulling helps cavities heal.

this is for Jsingh; buy a bottle of castor oil and let your son swish around one cork for about 10-15 mins each days. within a week or two you will start to notice the improvements in his teeth.

Answer for Jsingh from Mon, Canada about child cavities.

Try to find pH paper to confirm that your child's saliva is acidic. Then the solution is to alkalize. Read Ted's post there https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/children_and_infants.html . Also search for Acid/Alkaline balance in the web. The less process food the better. A lot of vegetables is good.

Also, a way to alkalize the mouth is to swish or gargle with Milk of Magnesia (MOM). Try to find the "original" type, as the new ones have more chemicals added.

Good Luck

Look for molds in your, or your daughter/son's house. Do an air quality test and see if this is aggravating the baby's breathing. Vinegar washes are a good way to clear mold, but different types react differently.

Paint on povidone iodine twice daily on eczema patches. Worked on my 3 year and it's cheaper than the prescription drugs. Don't use iodine tincture since it has alcohol and will sting...especially for young child who scratches the eczema until it bleeds. Since the iodine stains clothes, I put large bandaids over the areas on his legs and arms.

Turmeric for Eczema

Tumeric for eczema. My little 6 month old granddaughter was born with a red spot between her eyebrows and when she laughs or cries it puffs up. A couple of months ago, the area started to look raised and crusty. Then she started scratching it and it would bleed and this became a cycle. The doctor put her on internal and external antibiotics which cleared up the area. But a week later it started to come back. Then she started to get breakouts around the mouth, noes and one side of the face. When the spots start to clear up, it leaves the area around it white. My daughter is concerned. She took her to the doctor yesterday and was given another antibiotic ointment to use on her face. My daughter has taken her to the doctor several times and has been told the baby could have MERSA (she did not), impetigo, strep, or eczema. I am believing that this child is going to be healed and whole. I want to know whether the turmeric could be used on her face and specifically on the area between her eyebrows. Thank you.

Children's Dosages

Children/Animal dosages: Per Dr. Richard Schulze
http://curezone.com/schulze/default.asp

His preference is by child or animal's weight rather than age. He says just put child's or animal's wt. in pounds over l50 pounds:

child's wt. 30 lbs—Child's dose is 1/5 of the adult dose.

adult's wt. l50 lbs.—Thus a l0 lb'ers dose would be l/15 adult dose

A l500 lb. horse would get l0 times the adult dose.

He also suggests putting herbal remedies 50/50 with maple syrup to get most kids to take them.

I am really worried about her and am looking for some natural cure. She has mild eczema on her hands too. Ted, please help. Your reply will be much appreciated. Thanks."

At 2l months old you can give her l tsp. of honey once or twice a day, but be sure that the honey is produced within a 50 mile radius of where you live, so it will contain pollens in your local area. If this doesn't do the trick, Benadryl or its generic (diphenhydramine Hcl) is a usually safe antihistamine, available without prescription and found in most places that also sell vitamins, minerals and supplements. The generic is cheaper than brand name.

Hi Joyce, I really appreciate your reply. Thanks a lot. Should I give honey to my daughter (21 months) everyday once or twice or whenever she has food allergy attack. Will honey cure my daughter's food allergies permanently . Should we give Benadrly everyday ? If we give benadrly everyday and her body gets used to it then what will happen when she gets food allergy attack (Swollen face ). Will her body respond in this case ?

She is allergic to all tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soy. I am really worried about when she starts going to school or accidentally eats something from her friends in school which has any of the following things.

I would be really happy if honey can cure her food allergies. I will try to find anything produced within a 50 mile radius and am not sure if anything will be available in Los Angeles. How about some pure honey from wholefoods or some other organic stores?
Thanks again.

Honey
Posted by Joyce (Joelton, TN) on 08/16/2008 495 posts

Hi, THealth: I think the l tsp. of honey works by desensitizing to allergens, so give it daily, not just when you think she needs it.

To answer the question about the benadryl or diphenhydramine, food allergies are year round, not seasonal. So I'll answer with statements from the head of a pediatric department at a work shop I attended in l979. In his lecture, he said to never give benadryl during an acute asthma attack, but after you break the asthma attack, start them on benadryl and keep them on it. At the time of the lecture he stated that had children who had been on it continuously for 4 years (at that time) without problems.

I've heard about the honey comb being really good for temporary and possibly permenant curing of an allergen, but I know from experience that another way is a lot quicker, cheaper, and effective; It is called allergy elimination. It is a technique done by many different practitioners around. Refered to as NAET also. Look for a practitioner in your area by searching for NAET practitioners. My family had bad allergies, leading to "incurable" eating disorders. They were healed by this technique in only one treatment per allergy. . .and if you find a good practitioner, he'll do them all in one pop. Just a suggestion.

Response to AKR's post:

08/13/2008: AKR from Jersey City, New Jersey writes: "I am an avid fan of EarthClinic! I have a suggestion for a new Infant/kids health page.

Here's my motivation. I recenlty became a dad. Son is almost six months now. I have made a pledge to myself to keep myself as healthy as possible using all the knowledge from EarthClinic (and other sources). So, hopefully, I will never have to fall prey to a doctor and the traditional medical system again. I would like to do the same for my son. But I don't have much idea as to what you can do, or what you can feed an infant/child (aside from the obvious of course)to keep them super healthy, and build inpenetrable immunity.

For eg, is it a good idea to give them a few drops of black strap molasses or bee pollen starting at a certain age? Omega 3 oils? My son has some allergies, which I suspect is due to HiB vaccination he got right at birth. I was not knowledgeable enough at that time to refuse that vaccine, but have postponed his schedule for the rest after much research. So, again, I am wondering, if I can give my son a few drops of ACV starting at say nine months of age to help clear his allergies?

Many thx!
AKR"

Welcome to the world of being on call for that fine son 24/7/52 from his birth onward. Aren't babies wonderful. Such perfect little ones, although you can get awful tired of not getting enough sleep.

My name is Joyce & I'll try to answer some of your questions. First off, if he is having allergy problems, the most likely offender is milk. If he is still on milk, do an on-line search for "excitotoxins" and print out that long list of names they hide monosodium glutamate (MSG) under and when you go looking for a good substitute formula make sure it doesn't contain any MSG or aspartame, especially any hydrolyzed plant (corn, soy or other)protein as Blaylock says this is the most deadly form of MSG because it also contains aspartame (Nutri-sweet). These are two excitotoxins found in most every processed foods and are ones you want to protect your son from. If you can't find baby foods without them, table foods will probably be better (just throw some of what gets cooked in a blender & puree it for him.

You are going to find it isn't easy to avoid these two excitotoxins unless you cook from scratch, and even then you have to read labels carefully. For instance, Tyson chicken (raw) that you have to take home and cook, ingredients list says: "chicken and may contain up to l5% chicken broth. They didn't mention MSG, but the chicken broth is loaded with MSG. If you read the ingredients list on Perdue beef or chicken (raw) which advertises no artificial ingredients, you find chicken or beef: followed by natural flavors or natural flavoring (which are names MSG is hidden under in our foods.

I think you will find small amounts of black strap molasses won't harm your little one, but don't give him any honey until after he is one year old. His little system isn't built to handle that just yet. I would also hold off on the apple cider vinegar until he is a little older. When you do start apple cider vinegar, remember the adult dosage is usually l tsp. to l Tbsp. and he is much smaller and would take much less of it. After he is one year old, you will probably find that a teaspoon of honey per day will also help with those allergies. When I first heard this, I tried to figure out the rationale behind this. I finally concluded that the honey is doing the same thing that expensive shots for allergies do. That is why you also are told to be sure the honey is produced within a fifty mile radius of where you live: the bees collect the pollen within a fifty mile radius from the hives, which means you are desensitizing your little one to all the pollens within a 50 mile radius, which is the same thing those shots are given for: desensitization to pollens. I would also hold off on other bee products until he is at least l year old since honey presents a problem. I've never heard or read that they do, but it's a chance I wouldn't want to take. Please do not do what I see a lot of parents doing - letting their children have carbonated beverages instead of drinking water. None of them have any nutrition in them - just colored water, sugar and chemicals. You may never see it in print but all carbonated beverages are harmful to the kidneys. If I had known this when my children were little, I would never have let them have the first sip of any soda pop or carbonated beverages. Believe me when I tell you they are harmful, because I saw 4 children 4 to l0 years old, who were spilling protein (proteinuria) in their urine.

Remembering something I had read several years earlier in a medical journal, I asked about their carbonated beverage intake. All 4 of them drank them instead of water. Changing nothig except not letting them have anything to drink except milk, water, and fruit juice and checking them one week later, 3 or them were negative for proteinuria and the l0 yr. old who had the maximum level (4+ proteinuria) on first examination was down to a trace of proteinuria. Her mother said she had done without them until she got one on the way to the clinic that morning.

Oh, in case your little fellow lucked up and is being breast fed by his mother, tell Mom to stop drinking milk and see if his allergy problems decrease. It may sound silly but I was being sure to drink at least a quart of sweet milk per day when breast feeding my third child, and he is the one who had the worst problems, especially to milk. When I got him onto a soy formula, it was like having a totally different baby. For the first time ever, I woke a sleeping baby up to make sure he was alright, because he cried an awful lot and seldom slept longer than l hour. After that first bottle of Sobee, he slept for 13 hours which caused me to wake him up to make sure he was alright. He was- I guess he was just exhausted from all the misery while on the milk formula. Also what Mom eats or drinks gets into her milk that the baby gets.

Another thing to try to avoid is food coloring in any vitamins or minerals that you give your little ones. These can also cause problems. Kids love the Flintstone vitamins/minerals but all that food coloring, sugar and flavoring are totally unnecessary and may trigger allergies. One of my nurse co-workers little granddaughter (at the age of 5 yrs) was having one urinary tract infection after another. I told her that they should watch everything the child ate or drank, because something was triggering those infections. A few months later she greeted me with "We found it, we found it". My reply was I didn't know it was lost - what did you find? She then told me that getting rid of the Flintstones also got rid of her urinary tract infections.

Hope these answers are helpful. If not, just post your reply back and if I don't have the answer, I'll see if I can find the answers for you. I think you are already giving this little fellow the most important thing which is love.

Joyce sounds like a wonderful lady, but I feel there are many bits of advice here that are way off the mark, and that folks reading this should be pointed in other directions. Breastmilk, not any kind of formula, is the ONLY choice for babies, at least until one year of age, but preferably up to age three at least. Introduce foods if you wish starting at six months, but remember that these are only to develop babies' tastes. Until age one, breastmilk should be primary food. Formula is a "food" of last resort.

Furthermore, the issue with milk and many other foods is far less about allergies to those foods in their natural forms, and much more about the modern practices used in raising those foods. Raw milk, butter and cream from raw milk and eggs from pastured chickens, as well as grass-fed meats, including organ meats, and the whole fish (including organs) is the healthiest food we can eat (alongside of the vegetables, fruits and occassional grains that work best with these foods). Mamas should not avoid these life-giving foods! They should seek them actively throughout the nursing years and beyond, and give them to their children to eat as well. I suggest reading Ramiel Nagel's book on tooth decay as an intro to the work of Weston Price and others in this field -- then you can get the cookbook, Nourishing Traditions, to help you learn how to cook in traditional ways, and you can check out the Weston Price Foundation on line. There are many excellent articles there.

To Evelyn - If breast milk is the "only" nutrition for babies.... I would really like you to explain my two super healthy 27 and 32 year old "babies". One climbed Mt. Ranier last weekend, and the other does demolition work. They were both "formula" fed babies, and are healthy as can be.

I do realize what you were trying to say... but putting it as you did makes me feel like you are coming at me in a very harsh manner. You can catch more flies with honey (organic, to be sure! ) than you can with vinegar.

Just saying ~ I found your post a bit combative.

Hi Carly, my three daughters were formula babies because they all three were lactose intolerant but they are smashing young women now: 30, 26 and 22. Ok, maybe the youngest wouldn't have had chest infections as a baby if she had had breast milk, or the two youngest wouldn't have had eczema... Who knows but the bottom line is that they couldn't have had breast milk!

Now they say that formula is no good but... They have had such a long time to develope a good formula, why didn't they do it? True, in my country women didn't give the breast anymore back then so I wouldn't be thinking about it although I was living in Holland when the children were born and there they did. Anyway, I have just read an article about breast milk and how contaminated it is with all kinds of nasty stuff, including chemicals from sun creams. That kind of articles has been around for decades.

I think that people have to stop attacking other people. Look at my daughters now (yesterday I showed a photo of the middle one in a shop as I wanted to buy a small photo album to house the photos of the children and the lady asked me if she modelled for Victoria Secrets, the oldest has just been the most wonderful bride and the youngest one has the most smashing eyes you have ever seen! ), look at your children and a lot others. Breast may be best or may have been best in certain circumstances but forcing it on people is not a good thing! Women have committed suicide because of all this nonsense, now that can't be good.....

Hi Francisca - This is all I was saying - there is no ONE "right" way.... to each his own, and live and let live. I see no need to make a woman who did not, or could not breast feed for ANY reason feel as if she had failed. Many people were raised on formula and did fine, and turned in to fine, healthy people.

I was just a little taken aback by the other poster who said the breast was the ONLY way to feed a baby. No, it isn't. It is a wonderful, and fine way... But not the ONLY way. (MO)

Your daughters sound awesome!

Carly :-)

NAET

With more and more children being effected with an inherited defective gene causing allergies, one would be led to think that their case is hopeless. Oh contrair. . .there is great hope. In my family there have been huge struggles with allergies as on one side is EE a food intolerance disorder like celiac disease, and the other side is celiac disease. Both are intolerances, which are no different than an exaggerated allergy. well, we've found a new alternative therapy called NAET that many chiropractors and accupuncturists are doing. It eliminates allergies! Permenantly! It's basically saved my daughter from malnutrition and even death. Please give it a try. They use a very effective allergy testing technique using your own or a suragate's muscles. So it is possible to test for offending foods even before the baby has tasted them! That's what I did, knowing allergies run in our families. Then we treated them shortly after that. I believe the immunity being strong will keep our kids healthy, and if we treat allergies that are bringing us down (whether known or unknown) that will go a long way in making healthy kids.

Hi Angela, Thank you for your wonderful reply. I am glad that there is something which can cure food allergies. I am very very happy to know that NAET can cure food allergies permanently. I am so happy and am sure even other parents reading this reply from you that there is cure to food allergies. I want my daughter to eat everything and that too worry free. I am happy to know that it cured your daughter's allergy permanently. Hurray and that too naturally. I have few questions regarding this: Is this NAET ok to give it to my daughter who is 21 months old.
Can you please suggest any chiropractor who knows NAET (I know we don't mention any products and doctors on earthclinic.com).
I stay in Los Angeles, CA and am sure there will be some good chiropractor who knows NAET. You don't know how happy I am right now after you mentioned that there is cure to food allergies and that too permanently. I thank you for replying to my email and on behalf of all those parents who desperately are seeking some cure to food allergies.

Thanks a lot.

Hi THealth, I think the NAET Angela is referring to is in regards to a therapy, not a product. There are several muscle response techniques... Try googling Body Talk therapy for more information.

Good luck!

To Thealth from LA: Just researched NAET on line. It is not something you give, but accupressure applied at accupuncture points along the spine. Knowing it is based on accupressure, and having a healthy respect for accupressure), I think it just might work. To find the one in LA (may be Nambudripad, herself, who developed this technique looking to cure her own allergies) just google "NAET Practitioners" where you will asked to type in your zip code. There will also be a map you click on. I clicked on Tennessee and found 2 clinics in Knoxville, l in Whitehouse and l in Nashville. Good luck and keep us posted.

Eczema

I am in complete shock. My daughter is 5 years old, and has had eczema since birth - extremely severe eczema over 95% of her body. We have tried absolutely everything, from prescription creams, OTC lotions, oatmeal, antihistamines, ACV, Baking Soda, etc etc. Any parent that has a child with eczema has undoubtably tried all the same remedies. I stumbled on this website and read about Epsom Salts. We started giving her a bath every night in the salts - 1 cup for a half full tub. She soaks for about 10 minutes, then out of the tub and gets slathered with a heavy lotion. After 1 week I am flabbergasted - her eczema is so much better, her skin is absolutely clear in most places, and only the worst scabby parts remain. ( We also used Iodine on the really bad infected spots for a couple of days). I don't know why or how it works, but it does! I am one relieved and happy mommy...and she is a much happier child. She actually has an appointment with a specialist in 4 days, and I won't have anything to show the doctor!
