I used my own urine to stop athlete's foot fungus, I also had a variety of fungus on the bottom & sides of my feet. I used my own urine in a bucket while sitting on the toilet every morning for about 5 days. I started using the urine in the morning, then at night used vapor rub at night with socks, then next day I used the urine in the morning, and the vapor rub at night without the socks (I have a hard time wearing socks at night). Each time I took a shower in the morning after soaking with urine, I would dry off & rub Peroxide all over my feet with a cotton ball until they dried naturally. I did this for a week & all gone. I've had this problem since 1998 & I am a real person from the Detroit area. Don't let anyone tell you this doesn't work, especially a doctor - because it does & I am proof. I've tried everything imaginable & was never able to get rid of it, until just recently. Doctors will tell you there is not enough Urea in the pee to cure it, but that is just down right false. What is it going to hurt to just try it & see for yourself. Good luck!!!

I haven't had althlete's foot since I was a child & I am 40 now so I was very surprised to find it creeping back in...!!! But I do a lot of hard manual labor in boots all day & let my shower get too dirty one time & there you go. So, I cleaned my shower and bleached all my floor mats, & put a bowl in my shower. When ever I got in I would pee in the bowl and add Hydrogen Peroxide to it. I like to take long showers, so while I was in there, I soaked one foot as I bathed and then the other & so on. After bathing, I dried the fungus area and put Calendula cream on it & put powder in my shoes. I ate lots of garlic, took a few epsom salt baths, stopped drinking alcohol & eating sugar/wheat and changed my socks several time a day. What plagued me my whole childhood, was gone in a week!!

Urine for Athlete's Foot

Saw quite a few latest Posts regarding Athlete's Foot, so decided to post my experience. Urine works well for Athlete's Foot. I have Athlete's Foot for about a year, tried AVC, Tea Tree Oil, Lavender Oil, Grapefruit seed oil, they all work to certain degree but Urine is the best cure. Iodine works well too but urine is the most effective.

I soaked my feet in my own urine daily for about 15 minutes in a leak proof plastic bag; let my feet dried off before I had my shower. I saw improvement within days and after about a week or two, it was almost 100% cured. It's free and easily available. Pee on your feet method did not work that well for me. Wonder if urine can be used externally for face and hair?

Kin, the answer is yes it can be. Urine can be used external on the face and hands, also can be taken internally. For more details on this go find yourself a copy of a book titled "Your Own Perfect Medicine", which is written on urine therapy. Very interesting reading. Seems it is effective against lots of things.

i had athlete's foot so bad i would pull large chunks of skin and my feet would bleed my cousens girlfriend told me her grandpa told her brouther to pee on his feet when he first got in the shower then wait till last to wash them i started doing this that night and it took about 2 weeks its been about 4 years cince ive had any problem with my feet

I tried everything OTC and nothing worked well. Literally everything. I am even put VICs on my feet before sleeping for 1 month. It cleared up the nails, but it came back really quickly after stopping. The nails started to get dark again. I did vinegar soaks and that didn't help either.

Finally, I decided to PEE on my feet twice a day (morning pee and night). I remembered a few years back, I had this bad headache that wouldn't go away and I ended up drinking my own morning urine for a week after trying everything else. It fixed that headache. Its really amazing, but it cleared up my feet in a matter of days, not months or 1 year. Don't believe those that say it doesn't work. Urine has thousands of nutrients, many of which can't be detected with our equipment. It literally cleared it up in 1 week. I also resorted to spitting on my feet and rubbing in the SALIVA letting dry. Remember dogs and cats always licking their paws? Its Saliva they are spreading and used to clean their paws.

Hello Scott, Thought you might like to know that there is another theory of what is actually happening when an animal licks its wounds. Allegedly, licking the wound sends any pathogens present to the digestive tract where the immune system kicks in and starts producing antibodies against these pathogens to kill them off and bring about healing.

However I suspect that the saliva probably starts softening up the pathogens for the kill.

This is going to sound nasty but it works. I got athletes foot once from a pair of combat boots I bought at and army navy surplus store. What you want to do is pee in a paper cup and then poor this over your althetes foot. Let it set for a few minutes then wash off. I used to do this in the morning and evening. It cleared up in about a week.

Urine as a cure for athlete's foot is the most economical, safe, and timely remedy known to me. I tried tea tree oil, aloe, black soap, coconut oil, Burt's foot cream, all of the former offered little to no resolve. I had a serious case of athlete's foot known as "trench foot" which was a name gained from the soldiers of many wars where moisture would collect in the boot or shoe, creating the necessary conditions for bacterial growth. My condition was so bad that the epidermis was cracking and in areas of the foot - primarily the ball of the foot, there would be lesions that would bleed. The cure is simple, apply urine (fresh and warm) to the infected area allowing it a minute or so to absorb into the skin; this is best done prior to sleep. Repeat this day after day until you see desired results. Note, although the symptoms may subside i.e. itching and cracking, the actual bacterial infection may not be gone. Thus, one should continue daily treatment for at least 1 week beyond the epidermic symptoms remediation.

Urinating on Foot cures athletes foot. I know this sounds foul but it works and is free. I learned this in the Army since athletes foot is pretty common. Your first morning's urine is best because it will have the highest concentration of enzymes. So when taking a shower in the morning, try this procedure and you should see the fungus die off pretty quickly.

YES! I also have been using urine for athletes foot and have ALWAYS had complete success. Just Like the post says, Just pee on your feet in the shower and it'll kill it dead. Don't be grossed out either. First of all you ARE in the shower. Secondly, If you read up on urine its not as bad as you may think. its even used (fresh) on the face in some cases. (I personally will use soap for that one though!)

This is a nay to the use of urine to cure. I noticed a few months ago that I had a portion of skin in between my middle and ring finger. After reading that urine helped I tried it. It caused a further infection that spread over my whole hand and caused eczema which I hadn't had since a kid. I am still fighting it and it has not gone away. So to be frank don't urinate. Bless.

It's actually quite possible you were experiencing a healing crisis from the urine. When your body heals it very often brings up "old" problems and clears them out of your system if you stay with it. I'd certainly give the urine therapy another try for awhile at least and see if it clears it up.

I had a mildly painful, annoying athlete's foot problem on a couple of my toes. First I tried Terabine Antifungal. It did not work. Then I tried Apple Cider Vinegar. It burned. Perhaps it killed some fungus; I do not know. Then I tried Vicks Vapo Rub (generic substitute). ChaChing! The improvement was rapid and my skin healed beautifully. I would recommend slathering it for a week or so (twice a day). Also wear sandals if you can to give your foot air.

Athlete's foot: I have used vaporub on my feet for years, it cures this problem within a day or two, no waiting six weeks. Also when we were kids my parents would rub it on the inside of our throat if we had a sore throat, a sore throat was also gone in a day. This product probably works due to the euclyptus.There are a lot of these products in the store but the one that works must have euclyptus, mint, and camphor. It also make your dry feet very soft.

Vicks didn't work for me. Tried it for weeks. It did seem to slow down the fungus and moisten my feet but not get rid of it.

i find the old saying if your feet stink you need zinc. at least 15 mgs a day with food or it will upset your stomach. also rubbing oil around and on your toes is a good way to fight the fungus. try mixing 10 drops of tea tree oil in 1 oz of olive oil.

Worked for me! I tried ACV first and got some relief, but it still hung around. Then I tried Listerine with the same results as the ACV. But the Vicks nailed it.

First I did a swab of Listerine, patted it dry, then applied Vicks. I wore socks at night (even though it was summer) and did the same routine in the morning with sneakers for running/working out, and then again after showering.

After a few days, I saw how improved it was so I just did the Vicks. After 7 days it was all gone. I now put the Vicks on two or three nights a week before bed as a preventative and for softness. That's it. And my feet are soft and smooth-- just lovely. Thanks for all the info on this site!

White Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar is wonderful to clean out my German Shepherd's ears, when his ears are bothering him. He will shake his head, and I just put an apple cider and water solution on a cotton ball, and clean out his ears, and in ten minutes he stops fussing and lays down and finally can rest. My husband takes white vinegar and soaks his feet in it, and no more athelets foot! It is wonderful for killing any kind of fungus or bacterial infections. Thanks so much for the advice!

Great way to relax and get rid of athletes foot; find comfy spot to sit for 20 min., get container feet fit in, have close to hot water ready, white vinegar, sea salt. Sit down with feet in container, pour enough vinegar to cover feet, add sea salt, marinate for 5 min. the add water, sit for ten min., last 5 min brush feet with soft bristle brush while in water. Take out, dry, repeat for 2 to 3 days. Worked great for me and was also an excellent stress reliever.

I started getting athletes foot years ago, just a bit between my pinky toe and the next toe. I ignored it and now it's spread inbetween all my toes on both feet. I just started soaking in white vinegar (undiluted, no water added). Found a container that fit both feet, added white vinegar just to cover my toes and sat for 30 minutes. I already see improvement after only 1 soak! Am planning on doing once a day for a week and maybe once a week thereafter.

I recently had quite a case of athletes foot, that was spreading from my toes, to other parts of my foot, it was quite uncomfortable, and amazingly itchy to say the least.

I started doing research in to what might naturally treat it and came across a few options, here's what I did and it worked in less that 4 days.

Create a foot bath with 40 percent white vinegar, 60 percent hot water, then add around a table spoon of salt and a tea spoon of ginger powder. Soak your foot for 15 minutes or so giving it a break every so often. (you can use the same batch through out the day to save ingredients) Soak your foot a few times a day for a few days and your athletes foot will completely clear up, it is quite the amazing cure.

Thats it, I know this will work as well for you as it did for me! :)

I used raw Apple Cider Vinegar on some nasty-looking athlete's foot for two weeks, and I now have beautiful new skin on both feet and no sign of the infection. I simply soaked a cotton ball to saturation and applied liberally (to dripping point) all over the affected areas. I then let it dry in the air and didn't rinse it off. I did this twice or three times a day, changed my socks the same number of times, and saw improvement daily. I can't thank you enough for all your advice and encouragement!

Hm... Have you ever tried Cedarsoles made from antifungal cedar wood? For me it's the most powerful solution. Maybe give it a try... There are several vendors... E. G. Zederna Cedarsoles, Cedarstar and some more...
