Thanks Ted!!! I tried the 50-50 hydrogen peroxide & baking soda mix and it reduced my keloid scar which was the size of a garbonzo bean to a pea size within 10 minutes. I have had this scar for 5 years after a mole removal gone bad a the dermotologist office since he did not allow the aenestitc time to kick in. My skin does not have any other keloid scars and I have been embarassed of the scar since its in such a visible area. I went back to the Dr.s office and he wanted to inject or remove the keloid yet it may leave a worse indentation. I decided to search for a natural remedy as an alternative and it worked. Thanks again DAK!!! ; )

I thought that putting baking soda/peroxide on my keloid scar helped flatten my scar, but i was also drinking 1-2 TBL apple cider vinegar in water at the time in addition. After reading someone else's posting, I believe it is actually the apple cider vinegar that has helped flatten my keloid scar.

I have had this raised scar for ages and it has never healed. I try not to bother with it. Anyway I started taking a capful of ACV straight everyday for a few days after reading this site. At the same time I also started doing a fasting cleanse for detox and weight loss. (I'm not overweight but I want to lose a belly.) Today I noticed that my scar was suddenly much flatter! It actually looked "deflated" and a bit wrinkly. The scar is also much softer to the touch - when before it was a really hard nub. I don't know if it was my fasting cleanse or the ACV but it could have been both. I would love to know why it helps if anyone or Ted knows!

Ted recommeded treatments for keloid scars. I tried the apple cider vinegar treatment first without any noticeable effect. Then I tried the teatree oil/lavendar oil treatment with very little effect. And now I am trying a third suggestion. Ted actually said to use a potassium carbonate/hydrogen peroxide paste on the keloid. I didn't have potassium carbonate so I substituted it with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and made a paste with the 3%hydrogen peroxide. I notice a change in less than 2 hrs. My keloid scar has almost flattened now and is fading a little. I have been using this treatment for 6 days now. This treatment has done as well or even better job than the steroid shot injections I have endured over the years trying to get rid of this darn keloid. It's interesting that keloid stings and itches for about 5 minutes after applying the soln. but does nothing when applied to my normal skin. Thanks so much Ted! You're the best! I will share your suggestions with other keloid sufferers! Thanks Earth Clinic for your website, too.
