I just want to thank everyone on this site for their feedback on the ACV for hemorrhoids. I am a hemorrhoid sufferer for over 30 years.. I came back hoping I might help some one too.. My hemorrhoid was the size of a small potato a week ago. I was sent for emergency surgery by my doctors which terrified me.. So I start searching the net for any help I could get and I came across this site... I started the remedy rite away after reading a few comments.. Been a week now must say it burn for the first 10-15 mins but it works ppl.. Give ACV a try first before going to surgery.. I apply it with aloe gel mix together because it's too strong for me pure.. You can apply other ointment after too to help with the pain /burning which I did.. Long story short ACV works for hemorrhoids it can save you the horror of surgery and everyday annoying pain in the ass!! For the first time I can sit with out twisting, whining I have been in bed most of the time this passed week.. I drink 2 tbs in a glass of water too.

Wow, I love this website. I've been following the Gerson Institute's initiative for curing cancer with Coffee enema's for Hyperthyroidism and a potentially cancerous thyroid/Goiter. I've been practicing this for over a year and found this site doing research on why my 'roids are so angry with me. Thought it might be inserting the enema tip. I've tried Witch hazel, which does stop the bleeding immediately but the problem persists and I sweat bullets worrying about the damned things starting to bleed un-announced! Especially in public, ugghh!!!

Years ago, my research on health tonics lead me to drinking ACV daily but I never enjoyed it, ..eventually stopped. But I, just 2 days ago read many of the testimonials on this site and decided to try it again. I doused cotton pats with it and kept them in the fridge. The first time I held one with my buttocks (love that word..but-tocks! Funny) against the roids, it stung like crazy for about 15 minutes, but subsided and I kept it there all night. Next a.m. swelling gone down greatly but was sore I felt from the acidic personality of the vinegar. (I use only organic ACV for good measure. Also a part of the Gerson's is organics).

It's working in that the pain from the roids is gone and I've had no blood streaking since I started. There seems to be thicker skin down there or something. Seemed like I could think about touching a roid and it'd break out singing opera and gushing bloody tears. But now, I can wipe and everything with no pain or tears. I've also started garlic, canned garlic in oil is good, and Im taking Horse chestnut tincture because I'd already ordered it before finding this website.

Thank you so much. I've suffered for quite a while and it has begun getting worse lately. But now I feel there is hope that me and my great down under will get along.

A sidenote...when I've washed my hair the last 2 days, I've found less in the tub afterward. Make sense? I read years ago that ACV used to be given to cows to encourage birthing and hormonal health. Seems ridiculous a farmer could make enough of the stuff or afford to buy enough to feed such a large animal, but only I wonder about these things it appears. So, wonder if the ACV is propping up the few hormones I may have left or turning the clock back a bit for this 60 year old. Either way, I endorse the use of ACV and will continue using it likely for the rest of my life, such is my excitement for blessed relief.

Hey everyone so I never really noticed my internal hemorrhoids until they recently became external. I am only 22 but I distinctly remember not eating well (skipping meals and not drinking water) for final exams and this is what resulted. Apple Cider Vinegar is great at shrinking the blood supply to the hemorrhoids in order for them to go away and I have also used it for some skin tags I got back there. VERY effective. I will let you know how well it works for my NEW external Hems :(

I'm a 39 year old male and a few days ago I discovered a hemorrhoid and freaked out thinking that it might be a cancerous tumor. After a bit of googling I realized that it was more than likely a hemorrhoid. I thought perhaps that if I just left it alone it would go away of it's own accord but it became more and more uncomfortable to sit down for long periods of time. Back to google again where I found your website and after reading a couple of the reviews I tried the apple cider vinegar treatment. I dabbed a bit of the ACV on the affected area using a folded tissue and within an hour the swelling had reduced substantially. I plan to carry on using the ACV until the hemorrhoid has totally disappeared. I'm so grateful that I discovered your website. My brother suffers from hemorrhoids and has already undergone two painful surgeries to have them removed, will definitely mention this treatment the next time I see him.

Well I got another Hemorrhoid on the same spot after 20 months. It happened because I was sitting on the toilet for 30 minutes continuously (usually only 5 minutes for me). I went back to the ACV solution, however after 3 days it started bleeding a lot and was becoming more irritated. So I stopped for the ACV to allow the bleeding to stop. I then got the idea to not make the ACV as strong, so I mixed 1/4 ACV with water in cup. I thought how is this going to do anything since the ACV concentration is now 4 times lower. However, this did stop the heavy burning when I applied it. And within a few days the Hemorrhoid reduced in size at least by half and there was little to no bleeding. After 1 week it was barely noticeable, and after 2 weeks it was completely gone. My advice is to start off with a 1/4 ACV to water, keep it in a cup and soak a cotton ball in it. Then lay on your stomach and put the cotton ball on the Hemmeroid for about 20 minutes. Do this 2-3 times per day.

Apple Cider worked first time. I have been trying tea tree oil, garlic, honey and witch hazel to no avail. Yesterday morning my potruding pile became quite raw and sensitive. I put some apple cider vinegar on cotton wool and left it between the cheeks. It was hurtful at first but over the next 24 hours the pile has reduced and is not raw anymore. Magic! Thank you all for your time to let me know how this works.

Apple cider vinegar worked on my hemorrhoid in just two days! I read through the interwebs like a mad woman looking for anything to help with this pain in the butt I had.... nobody's seemed to match mine.. idk where it came from. I am 32, no kids, vegetarian, very healthy, active etc etc... so when I had something that was like an almond poking out.(wtf?! ?) omg omg.... I freaked, it was sore and itchy and I was really afraid/embarrassed to say anything, so TO THE INTERNET!!! I never thought I would be walking around with a cotton ball shoved up me arse, but there I was, the apple cider vinegar I used was from the dollar store (it's all I had) so I didnt dilute it, just put it on a cotton ball and let it simmer... it stung a tad but it was a relieving feeling. and what do you know? in five min I felt better!!! Kept it up every few hours, maybe 3 times a day? and I'm on day three and its practically gone. can't feel it anymore, I only know it's there cause I peeked in disbelief. ACV could actually be a cure. IT IS!!!!! It is it is do it do it do it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Relief. aaaaaahhhhh.

Piles/Hemorrhoids. Had some fish with very dry rice.

Didn't go to the toilet for two days and when I did, one uncomfortable devil reared it's ugly little head. Used a cream for a day then tried ACV 2 tbs plus 1tbs water, dabbed on with a cotton ball after success in the toilet, kept doing ACV + H20 for 5 days. Ugly little head disappeared. Also used 6” high plastic boxes under my feet, just like Thai toilets and no more pushing. Whoopee! and Whoopoo!

All I can say is thank goodness for straight talkers and clear instructions. I searched YouTube hoping to find help with my piles which over the past month got so bad, I was in more pain than I could ever remember. I noticed that I had a pile six months ago and didn't really have to do anything as it protruded slightly but there was no pain at all. Sometimes it would get itchy, or feel as though it was leaking (don't ask me with what). It was then I realised that I needed to do some research on it, as in my head it was nothing to worry about and would go when it was ready.

Oh how wrong was I. After the last few months of itchiness and feeling uncomfortable, I ordered some cream from the internet which claimed to soothe and stop itchiness. It didn't really. Oddly it seemed to become more sore and itchy. So I began to use sudo cream and it worked for a while to stop the itchiness and soreness. But for some reason, in the last month it began to flare up. I eat huge amounts of veg and fruit, I juice and now and again have relapses of too much dairy so I assume as I grow older this is having a bad effect on my system and my piles.

I then found a cream from the chemist having spent a week of pure pain, it was obviously getting much worse and felt raw as well as harder to go to the loo without screaming or clutching my fists. I never knew piles would create this much hassle.

I used the cream and it seemed to calm it down, but then after a week, flared up again. I stupidly added sudo cream to the pile cream and int he morning, two days ago, I was in tears. I could no longer sit properly or walk without pain. I was shocked, really shocked at the pain and discomfort. The creams obviously mixed and caused a bad reaction. Left feeling sorry for my self and my bum, I started to look for answers on the internet again. I found videos on youtube that only explained halves, tried to sell you their nonsense so overtime I thought I had found a solution, I hadn't, just another person trying to sell something or home remedies that I really didn't have the ingredients for.

I just can't believe I hadn't given any thought to Apple Viniger Cider. I bought a book on how it heals ailments in many different ways, but totally forgot about it. I came across this website, thank God! I cringed at the thought of putting vinegar on my pile, imagining it to sting like hell, but anything at that time was better than what I was feeling. If I had fresh wheatgrass int he house, I would have used the pulp from that, but didn't so reached for my handy large bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar and tested out what everyone here already seemed to know. Thank you all. I am still not out of the woods having left them so long using crap creams, but it is only day two. I can tell you I am now sitting with no pain, I am still uncomfortable in going to the loo but am using the raise your legs six inches (using my box set of Roald Dahl books) so that it eases any movement. The stinging is still a little bit there, but no screaming or tears. I am pretty convinced that in a week this will be either so much better or gone but will keep you updated.

I have followed what others mentioned here re the application. First beginning with showering (can't bath as I don't have one), adding the Apple Cider Vinegar onto a thick piece of kitchen paper (half) folding and putting it directly onto my bum/pile. It did sting a little at first (well, second and third) but, it does go after about five minutes of the Apple Cider Vinegar being applied. I am on day two now, it's evening and the last two applications I have added water to as I didn't fancy having skin removed from down there. Hasn't happened but I imagine that the Apple Cider Vinegar is pretty potent. It is definitely working. No itchiness, no burning (nothing like it was). I can pass wind without fear of the pain, I hope tomorrow I can have a bowl movement with NO pain rather than some but we shall wait for that. I have to give it time, as I did leave it for a while and not treating itt as I should have.

I did recently before this website spend twenty pounds on more medication for my piles, which I now regret as I won't be using it. I just can't believe I didn't pay more attention to the book I bought on what Apple Cider Vinegar can help treat. But I do thank you all for sharing and for giving a full run down and NOT selling anything from some medicine company at the end of it. I shall keep this updated. :D

In continuaton to my mail:

When many of you are saying applied ACV through cotton balls. Do you leave the ball inside anal area for internal hemmroids? Also, for those from India : Only ACV available seems the one from "American Gardens". Were you able cure Hemmroids using this ACV?

Thank You. Sunder

After 40 years (since I was 12) of suffering with hemorrhoids, I tried the ACV suggested in the remedies section. I saturated a cotton wool ball with half water half ACV, and held it in place about 3 minutes. Remarkable relief! Yes, it stung a bit (mine are stage 4) but no pain near like the problem itself. I've continued this for several days, adding an 'insertion' of liquid vitamin E oil, about 3-4 drops, twice daily, using a finger cot. The results are amazing. I've had about 50% shrinkage in the external pile, something I haven't seen since giving birth 30 years ago. Nothing a doctor has ever given me has provided the relief and shrinking that the ACV and vitamin E have! And no, hemorrhoids aren't always caused by poor diet. I was raised on garden fresh vegetables and home cooked meals. Mine are just plain hereditary! Try the ACV and E oil. Also, I'm using diluted ACV now as a cleanser after visiting the toilet, instead of moist wipes. Hope this helps someone else as much as it has me!

Apple Cider Vinegar made my hemorrhoid vanish after a couple days of applying the ACV with a cotton ball. I put on a vinyl glove and applied it with a mirror.

I've had this darn thing for over a year and hated it. I'm grateful to this website for all the reviews... I just saw that ACV had the highest # of reviews for hemorrhoid cure. So simple! Can't believe I've lived with this for over a year.

(Not sure how to add my "Yea" positive review... So I'm just replying to someone else's)

Well I just wanted to come back and let everyone know how everything turned out with the Apple Cyder Vinegar treatment after my initial next day testimony above. (Sorry I forgot to come back and tell you sooner) So the next day I did a few more Sitz sitting for 15 minutes at a time with the ACV, hot water, and Epsom Salt when I got home from work. The next day the roid was even more reduced and I had no more discomfort when sitting (ocassional when walking or moving about) and the day after that it was like I had never had a problem. After 3 weeks of agony (real complete agony, tears, pain etc) I was finally pain free. I never had any reaction to the ACV of any kind but I did take it slow and dilute it in water. I did have a same day lessening of pain when I first tried the solution but it wasn't completely over for a few days. Give it time, get a Sitz Bath (they are only around $5 dollars at Walgreen's) it not only helps clean the area it also gives it a good wash with no pressure. I never did use the "wash" part of it, just the bowl and sat down in the water ACV mixture. I haven't had a problem with roids again till last week and I used this as soon as it started again and never even got to that painful stage. It cleared it right up in a day. I hope you'll try it.

I LOVE ACV!!!!!! I will never look back. For the last 2 months my 'roids' had gotten that bad I couldnt eat, sleep, walk or function as a mother, wife or as a normal human being. I tried everything and even went to 2 drs, 3 naturpaths and a bum dr I spent so much $$$$ I gave up.... I would sit at home and cry cause everything I put on that area for 'roids' would give me pruritus ani(anal itching)omg!!!! I was stuck in hell then my mum told me to sit in a bath with Apple Cider Vinegar and sit there for 20 mins. I did... No more pain no more itch no more nut case me... Hahaha I still have the roids but I think they are going down... Slowly...... But still no pain I swear by Apple Cider Vinegar it works I can function again... Try it.... Half a cup in small warm bath.... Hope it helps... bye and thankyou from down under(in more ways in one...hahahaha)

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for the incredibly simple apple cider vinegar for hemmeroids.

I could barely bring myself to try it for fear of extreme pain on a huge (and I do mean huge) long hemmeroid.

Trying Prep H and others for small hemmeroids I thought it would work...not this time. The pain was all the way up in my spine and there was some bleeding. I was hoping it would break and be done with it, but no such luck.

I finally got up the nerve to try the vinegar. First I put it on some scratches that I got from cutting trees in my yard. It didn't burn. I tried putting it on my face a few hours after shaving....still no pain. I said to myself, what the heck...the worst thing I will have to do is go into the shower and get it off quickly.

I took some of the advice and put petroleum jelly on both sides of the hemmeroid. Then with a piece of cotton I soaked it in the ACV. Held my breath and then I put it on. NO PAIN whatsoever!!!!! Just cooling type of feeling.
Within a few minutes, I noticed the pain totally disappear. I was able to work on my house for the past two hours with no problem.

It is still swollen, but not to have the horrible, horrible pain I feel like a new person.
I will continue to use it for the next day or even week. If it all shrinks down and there are no side or after effects, you will not hear from me again.

If anything occurs that is out of the ordinary I promise to help others as you have helped me and let you know everything.

By the way, there is no bleeding either.

God bless you all and for this site. I thought I was going to have to get pain killers or go to the hospital. Whew! Thanks so much again. I am so happy.

Try witch hazel to shrink them (put cotton ball with it on there and let sit a bit ) and then coat after that with some coconut oil to lubricate the area so no tearing.

Vinegar is a bit harsh and the acid in it removes skin layers.

If it worsens, I recommend to dilute it with water, try an organic brand or stop using it all together. Try a virgin/organic coconut oil. Coconut oil worked for me. It worked instantly. Soak a cotton ball or q tip and use at night preferably. I'm out of the oil and need more so I'm looking for alternatives.

Applied some raw apple cider vinegar on hemorrhoid during few days. Not a good idea. It caused some tissue damage (pain) which lasted couple of weeks at least. If must try, dilute it as hinted in the article, might be safer.

All I have to say is I am SOOOOOO glad I thought about ACV and stumbled across this site!! I went to see the Dr last week and was going to do banding and ended up almost passing out lol so they scheduled me to go to a clinic where they would put me under anesthesia to do it.. Called me back the next day to tell me that they wouldn't do that procedure at the center and so the Dr changed the procedure for a Hemmorhoidectomy...since the clinic would do this.. I was livid to say the least! I started using ACV late yesterday and can already tell a difference, thank God!!

Thank you everyone for your posts and being open about it even though this is a awkward thing to talk about, lol. It has been reassuring and also enlightening. I wish you all the best, and I am going to now stock up on ACV for everything!!! =)

I've had rather small roids for ages, not really worried about them as they've mostly been painless. Unfortunately, for the past 2 years they started to itch, went to the doctor straight away, got an steroid cream that he recommended me to use *for months* which of course didn't work. Then I tried pretty much everything else similar, nothing worked at all, and the itch became 24x7, very very annoying. Then, the miracle. Got to this page, thought "don't lose anything", tried the Apple Cider Vinegar with cotton buds, burned like hell but after 5-10 minutes peace again. I'm on the 4th day, doing this only in the mornings after the daily shower, and the itch is GONE. Of course the Apple Cider Vinegar burns a bit but it's a completely different thing, very tolerable unlike before. I wholeheartedly recommend this remedy, just make sure it's not bleeding down there, that's it. Take care and hopefully you get better soon too!!
