I had to write and leave feedback as another testimonial that ACV is a miracle cure. I have suffered with Dermatitis/ Rosacea (the doctors couldn't decide what it was) on my forehead for 6 years. I used steroid creams for years that controlled it but never cured it but even they stopped having an effect in the last year or so. I saw ACV testemonials on this website so I tried it. Within a day or 2 the ACV I applied had stopped the spots appearing, the the redness and swelling went down. I use it every night and i'm now free of all symptoms - it only took about a week to cure it all together! It's so so frustrating that doctors don't/ can't tell you about these things. Thank you so much to this website - It's changing a lot of people's lives.

Dermatitis herpetiformis & ACV: i was struck by repeated bouts of what a dermatologist diagnosed as herpes zoster or shingles. went through a valtrex treatments each time the rashes appeared on my arms and legs. slowly emerging and very itchy bumps that would, over two weeks, become clear liquid-filled bumps. i suspected it had to do with infected scratches from dog toenails, as i was working with rescue dogs. lo and behold, it was - and my sister, a doctor across the country, had suspected dermatitis hep the whole time. it was much later that i stumbled upon ACV as an excellent cure that speeds up the cycle of the rash. i soak a gauze square with it and tape it to the affected area changing it in the morning and at night. such a relief to have a non-med cure! also, i have found that if i wash the scratched area immediately with anti-bacterial soap, it can prevent the rashes.:)

You can use glycerin which is cheap at the drug store. Mix with water 50% each. Apply thinly to face/neck as too much will make it feel sticky. Also I tried using Tom's of Maine Mint toothpaste, no fluoride. Cinnamon may cause flare ups or moisturizers for dry skin can actually make it worse. My 'expensive' department store moisturizer I just bought caused my last flare up. I am going back to the cheap stuff.

My mom has had a bad rash on her face. Also, her skin is dry (not to the touch), but it is flakey and feels dry to her. At any rate, I found your website, and she tried Apple Cider Vinegar, and it is clearing up the bad rash. We are assuming it is dermatitis. No doctors have called "it" a name, and every cream they had her try just dried her face and more and usually did not clear up the red at all. So, the ACV is clearing up the red rash just fine but is not helping to make the skin less flakey. Every time it feels dry and tight, she is applying moisturizer from a good skin brand. She also does this as normal in the mornings and evenings. Any suggestions to help the dryness? Thank you!

Hi, I think most people do experience dryness from apple cider vinegar and I use coconut oil for that. Also there are some good homeopathic creams- I also use a borage cream that helps to renew the skin cells instead of just covering up the dryness. Hope this helps!

I am just so delighted and amazed and I hope to have continued improvement. When I was sixteen I had PD and was put on prednisone and given the allergy tests. For months I had this embarrassing rash around my nose and mouth. At 43 I again started to get this rash that has not gone away despite all the normal medical recomendations. My life is very stressful and skin inflammation is one of the results of that. Praise God, because after putting the organic apple cider vinegar on my rash, it is starting to dissapear after 7 hours. I have spent so much money and time trying to get rid of this as it is such an awful rash. At first, it got itchy and red, but it is starting to feel better and I did not expect that the first day. Mine was an oozing, spreading rash that was starting to travel to my chin. I did the steroid route last time I had this, yes it helped short term, but perhaps that is why it came back 20 years later.

Thank you so much for helping me, all you friends you have suffered from PD. I will keep you informed about how this continues. Blessings, Chris

Dermatitis and Apple Cider Vinegar: Hi, just report back after about a month since I tried ACV. Unfortunatly, after a week or so the rash began to return, and as I foolishly spent a day in the sun, it was quite red and the bumps were coming back. I tried a homeopathic cream from Walgreens called Prosacea; and after three weeks I am nearly healed.I was worried that my skin would become resistant to this product the way it did to ACV.Immediatly after applying the cream, the redness and itch began to cease. Blessings, Christine.

Hello Friends! I have used your site many times to look up remedies for common ailments, thank you for being here! Over the past 6 months, a rash has come and gone. It started after a nasty sinus infection and was limited to the areas just under my nostrils. I figured it was due to the sinus infection, but once the infection went away, the rash was still there. Then it added a few little spots at the end of my eyebrows. Slowly, it began to spread the the entire area around my nose and mouth, but not ever touching the lips. It would come and go and each time I would use a prescription steroid cream and it would seem to help a bit, but the rash keeps coming back more fierce than the last breakout. Finally, when this last flareup was so bad that I couldn't go out in public, I came here and read about ACV, have been using it topically and ingesting it, and it's working already. I have confidence that it will clear up in no time. This past weekend, my composite PH level was a shocking 6.0! My diet is 80-90% organic and I thought I was very healthy, I was surprised that I'm acidic. So HERE'S MY QUESTIONS: Is this perioral dermatitis? (I was basing the determination strictly on photos and descriptions I've found on the internet.) Is it related to my PH level? Is it possible it's the mites you write about? Will the ACV be enough? Should I add the Borax solution as well? Thanks again for being here, I refer to your website for every little thing that ails us! Keep up the great work!

Apple Cider Vinegar. Worked great on dermatitis on my face, base of the nose and eyebrows! Just once a week and the problem is gone.

Here is my 2 cents. I have had an ongoing rash on my cheeks on both sides of my nose for about a year off and on. I considered spices and alcohol as culprits but even stopping both completely did not solve the problem. I read about ACV here and had nothing to lose. 3 days of topical use and my face cleared right up. That was over a month ago. (I have added spice and alcohol back with no problems) And in case you are wondering about the drinking.. it is only maybe a bottle of vino per week. Also the ACV was not the mother" but regular store bought stuff that did leave a nice burn upon application. ONE MORE USE: 2 weeks ago bringing in wood for the fire. Something on the wood left an immediate skin rash on the left inner arm where I was carrying the wood. Red, bumps, itch..... ouch! I mixed up white vinegar with baking soda and applied and the itch left, the swelling went down and the rash was gone in 2 day.. 3 days later it reappeared and I reapplied just white vinegar and it is gone. Not sure what was on the wood.

Hello all, After 2 weeks of using apple cider vinegar, my severe dermatitis is still as bad as ever. The first few days showed improvement but it was downhill afterwards. My case of dermatitis is very severe and i've had it for 20 years, so dont give up out there. I'm sure it will help some. Meanwhile, those of us who are still fighting this awful disease will continue to search for relief."

I have had Perioral Dermatitis on and off since I was a teen. I did try ACV while I was pregnant and did not seem to help. Any other ideas? I will probably have to end up taking Tetracycline. THANKS,
Cari

Hi! I have had dermatitis on my arms since I was a child, and have bought those nasty psoriasis/dermatitis tar treatments that smell terrible, are expensive - and don't work!! The label says dermatitis is incurable, and that is FALSE! I tried putting ACV on a cotton ball and applied it to my arms once a day - the dermatitis is gone! It works! Thank you so much.

I feel so fortunate to have found this site. Though my skin is usually problem free, I had contacted a really bad case of some sort of dermititis. Flaky, scaley, red patched on my cheeks, chin, in my eyebrows. My family history has eczema and psoriosis and I was freaking out that suddenly my face was victim to my family history. The skin on my nose was peeling off like sheets of phylo dough. Being a believer in natural remedies, and one of the millions of uninsured persons in the US, I needed to find a natural solution. Plus I was on the job interview circuit and could not show up to an interview looking like a victim of a bad skin peel job. I read about others on this site using ACV and the success they had using this topically and drinking it. I immediately began applying it to my face 2x a day, and drinking about 2 TBS 2x a day. It did sting the raw/affected parts of my face at first. To calm the burning feeling I used a little bit of Eucerin Calming Cream 5 minutes after applying the ACV. The cream used for burns, so I figured it was worth a try. The cream was great, I only needed it for a few days. As my skin started to heal, the burning was less and less. It took me a few days to get used to smelling like a salad, but once the odor evaporated the benefits were so worth it. Within 3 days my skin wasa 80% better. After 5 days 90% better. It's been a little more than a week, and my skin is looking healthy, and cured, by 100%. The skin on my face is once again soft and smooth, no dry patches. I'm hesitant to stop using and drinking the ACV because my skin condition was so bad before. I'm getting ready to travel and am trying to figure out how to fly with ACV - it is a natural miracle for distressed skin!

Hi, I am trying out the ACV for my contact dermatitis and it seems to be giving me tremendous relief. I also am applying a drop of oil of oregano to water and dabbing it on. This is also helping a treat!!

My dermatitis skin rash disappeared in 24-48 hours using ACV. I read your site about using apple cider vinegar, the testimonials is what made me start to use it. So I purchased Heinz apple cider vinegar and began drinking 2 tbls in green tea 3 times a day for two days now, and applied topically the vinegar to the affected area and low and behold my skin is smooth to the touch no scales or chapped skin left. I am so amazed! I also notice a boost in energy and an overall sense of well being. I will purchase the _______s version from the health food store so that I receive the whole benefits, but in the short time I have been using this, it's just short of a miracle! If you live with something for years and have tried everything and I mean everything to no avail, and something simple and over the counter (Apple cider vinegar) comes along you try it at least once...and for me the taste isn't too strong, its so worth it! I will keep drinking it and I will also apply some of the other stuff I have read on her like the blackstrap molasses! Thanks Earth Clinic for being here!

I had a severe case of contact dermatitis from a reaction to a new "anti-aging" cream i bought. The doctors took pictures and said it was one of the worst cases they had seen. They gave me an Rx for prednisone. Thank God I checked this site first. I applied ACV diluted in purified water to my face 3x per day and it completely cleared up within three days!! I cancelled the Rx. I LOVE ACV, and my skin looks better than when I used all of the expensive creams and lotions.

I was diagnosed with contact dermatitis on my hands and feet. It was caused from exposing my hands to spray nine without the use of rubber gloves. I have been reading so much about apple cider vinegar and decided to try it. Well, I was also diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and also came the slightly high blood pressure and cholesterol a tad high. I started to take the acv and low and behold, my next bloodwork was the best it has been in 5 yrs. If my next 2 check ups are like this last one I may go off my diabetic and blood pressure pills all together. WOW! Thank you GOD for having the acv at our disposal.
