VITAMIN B COMPLEX AND FOLIC ACID

1 YEA

[YEA]  06/07/2007: David (JhnsnDavid@Yahoo.com) from Titusville, FL writes: "I just turned 60 and I still have my brown hair. I attribute this to taking B vitamins in a 50 mg. complex (50 mg. of each B vitamin in one capsule), and two or three 800 mcg. of folic acid tablets. The B vitamins are known to be a stress reliever. Remember the old saying how kids can give you gray hairs? It's true! Stress can make the gray come in! The B vitamins inositol and choline are important for the color of your hair. Did you know that some wool companies deliberately make their sheep deficient in these two B vitamins so that the wool will be much whiter?! Folic Acid also helps with hair growth and had been named after the word Folicule, meaning hair! Looking younger than your age and knowing that you didn't dye your hair to look younger makes people ask if you found the fountain of youth! Try the B vitamins and folic acid for at least 6 months and you make notice a great change!"

VITAMIN C

1 YEA

[YEA]  09/23/2007: Joan from San Bernardino, CA writes: "My Fountain of Youth is primarily daily multi-use of Vitamin C. I take 500 mg each time. It works best if I take 10-12 per day, no closer together than every 30 minutes. I just keep them on my desk, or in my pocket. Vitamin C makes so many things happen better in the body. Collagen is primarily made up using Vitamin C. The liver alone needs 3000 mg/day, in divided doses, to process all the toxins, etc. that are required by it--and there are MANY. This is just the beginning. But it definitely keeps me looking young--I just turned 54, and have no ailments of any kind, and use no drugs, while everyone I know go to doctors (the "gods") and faithfully take their precriptions (drugs)."

VITAMIN E

1 YEA

[YEA]  08/30/2008: Janet from Delaware, USA writes: "I was very curious to see vitamin E listed as a remedy on your anti-aging page. I feel very strongly that vitamin e is essential for women as they age. I know it helps me with hormonal fluctations and I notice that I have more vitality on the days when I take it. I have taken E off and on for at about 15 years and am now in my early forties. It's been great as a pms remedy and an after-menstrual-cycle-is-over remedy. I was trying to find out good dosages for E and came across an article that Vit E might act as a substitute for estrogen, which is why it is suggested for menopausal symptoms like hot flashes. Has anyone been taking vitamin E for perimenopause or menopause? Thanks."

WATER

5 YEA

[YEA]  11/04/2007: Mahesh from Los Angeles, USA writes: "After reading Dr. Batman's findings and the transcript of his interview, I immediately got into Water Therapy. After I began to drink 2 liters of water a day with about a teaspoon of added crystal sea salt (non refined), I found that on the 3rd day my skin felt soft and supple. I shower in hot water (not warm) on cold mornings and that used to dry my skin to the point of terrible itchiness all over the body including my butts and I either had to satisfy myself (satisfaction = a scratch for every itch) or I hade to apply mosturizing cream all over my body. I could see dry dead cells fall of my chest and abdomen area every time I removed my banian or T-Shirt.

I no longer have any visible dry and/or flaky skin and the skin feels smooth & supple. My butts feel very soft to the touch. My skin now glows and is radiant. I guess I am done with moisturizers (no more of harmful chemicals to be rubbed on my skin). Also, I sleep better at night."

05/27/2008: Jeh (misterjeh@gmail.com) from Dubai, UAE replies: "I have always had a bad skin. Dark, flaky, dehydrated and full of pimple marks.... However for the last 3 weeks, I have been having 3 litres of water everyday..... This has made my skin look clearer and better. Above all, I no longer suffer from constipation. Can someone help me with tips to improving complexion?"

[YEA]  10/09/2005: Julio from DE writes: "The body needs plenty of water, doesn't matter if its summer or winter. drink drink drink..Whenever you go to the emergency room, the first thing they do is stick you with an IV of .9% sodium chloride to keep your body hydrated. Most people dont drink enough water, too much soda or other sweet drinks. Tap water is fine also, it builds your immunity. Most people think I am 16, but when I tell them I am twice that age they ask how can that be? I say "water" and "can I have my pack of smokes now.. thank you"

WATER, HOME REMEDIES, MILK OF MAGNESIA MASKS, SWEAT

1 YEA

[YEA]  01/12/2007: MikeHell from Jacksonville, NC writes: "After years of buying the expensive lotions and skin care programs on the market, I've found out that going old-fashioned and all-natural is the best way. This stuff has been repeated so many times that I think people get desensitized to it. Some of these companies are sympathetic, some want to separate you from your money, but most are a little bit of both. Forget them and go old school. Here's what I've found:

1. You need to stay regular. Drink lots of water and take fiber on a daily basis. When you eat too much food or any junk food, your digestive system gets upset and tries to throw off the toxins building up.

2. I trade off between molasses and ACV daily and it's been going well for me. Put a teaspoon of molasses in warm water and wash it down- it's got a mild carmel taste to it and is loaded with minerals and nutrients that fight acne. I swear by the ACV though- I mix a cap full or two in a small glass of water and it wakes me up mentally and physically. If I put it on a cotton ball it gets absorbed too much into my skin and causes a rash on my face (a common thing for people), so instead I pour a little in my hands and rub it in that way. Works like a charm. For soap I use castile (Dr. Bronner's is a good choice) because it's mild enough to use as for brushing my teeth. Anything with that sodium laurel sulfate crap in it has got to go. It's found in most of your shampoos. That stuff strips your skin of its moisturizing elements and leaves you unprotected- get rid of it.

3. Forget the fancy face masks you buy for ten bucks and only last you a month. Milk of magnesia works just as well if not better. Every other day is a good tempo because too many applications can dry your skin out. Depending on your skin type, you'll have to adjust it. Apply it to your face for 15-20 minutes at night and then wash it off.

4. Be patient and stop picking at the pimples. Think of a small cut you get on your hand, and how quickly it heals because you're not thinking about it and leaving it alone. Tearing at what is essentially a wound on your face is only going to make it heal slower, so you only make it worse. Your mom was right- stop picking.

5. And of course, the obvious: get a good sweat-induce workout on a regular basis. It gets the blood flowing and improves your complexion. Start taking a multi-vitamin, and for you bodybuilders stop using the creatine. Creatine is a safe product but it raises your hormone levels and contributes to breakouts. Arginine (aka NO2) not only makes you stronger, it improves blood flow to your skin.

All this stuff is dirt cheap and more effective than those top-of-the-line vanity products. Realistically, nothing's going to give you perfect skin. But you can at least fight it off at a reasonable price by sticking to these basics."

WATER, NO SALT, GOOD DIET, EXERCISE, SEX

1 YEA

[YEA]  03/31/2008: Renata (livaja3@hotmail.com) from Toronto, Canada writes: "Its simple, firstly your only as old as you want to be (mind over matter), secondly water, yes water, not anykind, it has to be Evian, something in this water is amazingly pure and detoxifies the body, drink at least 1 to 2 litres a day. Your eating habits are important, no more than 1,500 calories a day, and make sure you eat healthy, veggies, fiber, fruit and nothing with salt, STAY AWAY FROM SALT, its a killer, there is enough salt in just about everything we eat, so when you shop look for low sodium products, okay???Exercise, find out which form best agrees with you and then do it every other day without fail. Practice breathing skills and meditation. Do not take medications unless you really need to. And hey many people create there own sickness, think positive you can do it! And the most important for staying young, well we all know what that is dont we??? SEX, SEX AND MORE SEX, NEVER QUIT THE SEX OKAY??? LOL, hope my suggestions will be of some help to you all! Bye, bye,"

YOUTH RECIPE FEEDBACK

7 YEA    1 MAYBE

[YEA]  08/30/2007: Michelle from Stamford, CT writes: "Another alternative to using soy or milk in the Fountain of Youth recipe is hemp milk. I tried this a couple of nights ago and enjoyed it so much that I'd like to share it here. Hemp is high in protein and the EFAs Omega 3 and 6.

In a small pot combine and heat to warm (do not boil):
3 ounces hemp milk
3 ounces water
1 tbl molasses

Stir till molasses melts, and once mixture gets thoroughly heated, sprinkle cinnamon to taste. No extra sweetner is needed."

[YEA]  05/23/2007: Charity from Grand Junction, CO writes: "I've been using the fountain of youth recipe, and I like the results, but I read on the back of the ACV bottle that you should never put it in hot water- cos it disrupts the enzymes. Anyone else hear that?"

EC: Never heard that. It's possible. We have always had the same excellent results using ACV in either cool or hot water. Additionally, ACV in hot water was the remedy they gave the workers in saw mill factories to help with their allergies/sinus congestion from inhaling sawdust.

[YEA]  05/22/2007: Pamela from Coloma, Michigan writes: "Fountain of Youth: I tried the drink, and it was lacking, it tasted like marinade sauce. so I added powder ginger, and cinnamon, ground cloves, and sweet and low, if you notice these are some of the same spices that are in gingerbread cookies, they compliment the Blackstrap Molasses."

EC: Great additions to the formula, thanks! Note to our readers -- please read our feedback page on Artificial Sweeteners before adding something like Sweet and Low to this formula.

[YEA]  02/21/2007: Bob (BOB_D60@EXCITE.COM) from Las Vegas, NV writes: "I'M HAVING SOME GOOD RESULTS WITH THE MOLASSES/APPLE CIDER VINEGAR/BAKING SODA COMBINATION AS WELL AS THE WHEAT GERM/BREWERS YEAST/MOLASSES COMBINATION. HERE'S A SUGGESTION FOR THOSE USING MOLASSES OR HONEY: COAT THE MEASURING SPOON WITH OLIVE OIL PRIOR TO POURING THE MOLASSES IN. THIS KEEPS THE MOLASSES (OR HONEY) FROM STICKING TO THE SPOON AND MAKES IT EASIER TO CLEAN UP. GREAT WEB SITE, BOB."

[YEA]  01/18/2007: Darrell from Orange City, FL writes: "Came across your site because I was doing research on H2O2 and was pleasantly surprised at the wealth of info; Loved the recipes especially the Fountain of Youth; the Molassas was a little too heavy for morning, so i substituted natural honey and wow, what a nice zip in the morning. I sip a few ounces of ACV during the day and before bed, the difference in how I feel and look is remarkable. Thanks"

[YEA]  01/17/2007: Tim from Gulf Shores, Alabama writes: "I have been suffering with heel pain for months now and have tried everything, heat, cold, wraps, Advil, etc, etc.I want you to know that I believe in Dr. and medicine so my wife made this stuff with ACV and said try this for a week once a day so I did. You would not believe this the pain was gone in 3 days. Here is what she gave me. 2 tbsp of ACV 1 tbsp molasses and 1 tsp of baking soda mix well and drink. I can walk barefooted with no pain. I think she got the recipe from this site. Thank you."

[YEA]  10/08/2006: Elizabeth writes: "I have been on a regimen of 2 tblsp of ACV and 1 tblsp of blackstrap molasses 2x's a day for about 4 months now. I've just recently in the last month added 1/2 tsp of cayenne (1 tsp/day total) to my ACV and chase it with a glass of water. I read on your site that cayenne helps circulation and that was the primary reason I started adding it to my ACV. Before that I would cook with it and added it to my food everyday as I really like hot food. Well, I was pleasantly surprised with what happen next... The puffiness around my eyes (due to some kind of allergies food or airborne I'm guessing) and face is COMPLETELY gone! No kidding! I have a healthy glow to me now and the puffiness around my eyes that would make me look tired all the time, has vanished. The next thing I noticed is that my sinus' are clear, the dull sinus headache that I lived with for so long is gone and I can breath through my nose at night. As a result I think I'm getting more oxygen to my brain and body now and I definitely feel much more clear headed. I had no idea how much congestion was in my sinus' that I had just learned to live with. After ingesting a teaspoon a day for about a month, although results came within a couple of days, I look and feel so much better. The only thing I can attribute to the changes to is the cayenne. Thank you so much for posting this remedy. Makes me want to kiss you guys right on the lips! SMACK!"
