Lipoma Remedies
"A lipoma is a benign tumor composed of fatty tissue. These are the most common form of soft tissue tumor. Lipomas are soft to the touch, usually moveable, and are generally painless. Many lipomas are small (under one centimeter diameter) but can enlarge to sizes greater than six centimeters. Lipomas are commonly found in adults from 40 to 60 years of age, but can also be found in children. Some sources say that malignant transformation can occur, while others claim that this has yet to be convincingly documented."http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lipoma

[YEA] 12/24/2011: Julia from Gardner, Ks: "My father has had fatty lipomas growing on his stomach and arms for years. He also has type2 diabetes. His friend told him to take 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar before going to bed. He has been doing this for a 6wks. His fatty tumors have shrunk half their size and many have totally disappeared. They are even soft when you touch them and they use to be hard lumps. His blood sugars are also regulated and never high in the morning like before. He has made no other dietary or supplement changes. I really believe this will work for you."

I am going to setup a blog and I think what I want to do is try to find the common link between all the people that have lipomas. So I want people to put in their age, their location, and their diet, do they eat dairy. etc. There must be a reason these things suddenly appear, I refuse to believe that for no reason at all they appear.
What do people think about this?"

Replies01/05/2012: Timh from Louisville, Usa replies: "Lizzy, alternate some kind of magnet (the side that sticks to metal), a refrigerator door magnet will work but isn't very strong, and a warm wet compress or washcloth with Epsom Salt. If these don't help, try a Cold Pack which can both reduce pain and inflammation.Hope this helps and good luck."
01/05/2012: Francisca from Zug, Zug, Switzerland replies: "Lizzy, I am not sure I can be of much help but why not try to rub magnesium oil on it? Please read my other posts on a book I am reading right now, it might help you....."

Replies04/21/2011: Waterviola from Golden, Colorado, Usa replies: "yes, about your lipomas, I am not absolutely positive reguarding humans, but a great holistic veterinarian told me to stop feeding my dog carbohydrates (dry food) and her lipomas would resolve themselves - so she is on a raw diet now and doing much better. It does make sense to me that human nutrition may be similar in this situation possibly - if you eat too many carbs -and using more veggies instead for humans (as opposed to the meat ) - good luck!"

12/08/2010: Lynette from San Clemente, Ca.92672: "Dear Ted:
Somehow at the late age of 67 l got Dercum's Disease, can't make sense of it having been a health nut all my adult life. I've seen the only doctor in the WORLD who treats this, I see a top nutritional Ph. D, still the lympomas are growing relentlessly day by day, getting bigger, multiplying and beginning to get painful. I'm not at the point of taking drugs, nor will I, have you any recommendations for me??? l just tried pawhealers herbal formula for them, no luck. I found this horror after 35 HMO doctors couldn't by discovering a test that was incredible, l recommend this for everyone, it's called, Peripheral Blood Morphology Assessment or Darkfield Microscopy. I know there is no cure for this, but someone has to know something about how to stop them or slow them down. I'm going to lose 20lbs l'm hoping this might help some, the nutritional doctor put me on a diet that contributed to weight gain but did help my cells, they no longer show "Rouleau", lt's a lot of Raw Dairy foods, no low fat.
Thanks Ted,
Lynette"
12/09/2010: Brooke from Montgomery, Tx, Usa replies: "I would try Castor oil packs and high enemas. My boyfriend might have what you have. Do the Castor oil packs for 4 days on and 3 days off and have enemas often. Also see a Chiropractor and get adjusted! I have always told my boyfriend that I think he might have a problem with his lymph, and the Castor oil packs really help with lymph. However, he is a man and he won't do the Castor oil packs, so I will never know for sure if it would help him! Let me know if you decide to try this - I would be interested in your results! "
[BETTER BUT NOT CURED] 12/29/2010: Dekay from Chicago, Il replies: "Where is the best to apply the Castor Oil Pack? I only did one before and placed it over the liver and abdomen. Thanks. I want to add... I have Dercum's Disease. They are on my arms, under arms, and thighs, back and butt, as well as my stomach. They range from different sizes & shapes. Very painful when pressed. My arms feels like riblets(rows)of small pea size tumors. My thighs have masses and lge. Lumps of lipomas. My right thigh is larger than my left. I feel them all throughout my stomach and butt they are size of marbles. What have I learned so far... Still researching. Hypoxia on a cellular level is the root cause. Karen Herbst on Youtube... Look up Dercums... Breathing I & II. I will try to provide links to help.

Use of a trampoline 5-10 minutes a day
I've tried many things. However I want to try.... MMS and an oxygen concentrator prescribe by my doctor. Along with applying the restrictive breathing technique 3 times a day that Dr. Herbst recommends. I have been diagnosed with Dercum's, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Hashimoto, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Vasculitis and Crohns. I have lost over 60 lbs with 15 more to go. Still weighloss does not stop the lumps or the pain. Actually it made the lumps more prominent. The truth is the lipomas were probably there all along, hiding under all the fat. I went from 230 to 165 (meat, vegetables, fruit, waters and teas-stevia only sweetner) Removed processed foods. Oh I read somewhere persons developed Lipomas drinking high Protein shakes, The year before I did do a diet where I did drink protein shakes for about a month.... Numerous times throughout the day.... Could have some truth to it. So one might want to stay clear of those. Hope this helps someone. I will post back on the regimen above in a month. Right now I am using Beta Glucans... To help my immune system. Any questions feel free to email me. Good health to you."
12/29/2010: Brooke from Montgomery, Tx, Usa replies: "I would start the Castor Oil packs on your abdomen, over your liver area for the first two weeks. Put them on for 5 days and take a break for 2 days an hour to an hour and a half at a time. After that you could take some eliminants to help you with moving your bowels - such as Castoria (Fletchers)or any other good bowel mover, that has Senna in it. Use your intuition on the dosage. I take a whole bottle some days! Only a 1/4 tsp at a time, every 30 minutes. And other times, I only take 1 tsp - 1 Tbs in the whole day. I have been trying to get my boyfriend to do this for years and he shy's away from it. He is is no pain - I am not even sure if it is Dercum's - but I will keep on trying with him!"

08/11/2010: Lori from Ny, Usa: "Hi, I have many fatty tumors, about 10 on each thigh, and a few on my stomach. They are approximately 1 inch in diameter. I had two removed many years ago and they were benign. I was told to leave them alone. Is there any remedy for these lumps/fatty tumors?"
Replies01/18/2011: Jules from Denver, Co replies: "Bloodroot could be the answer for lipomas. It's been used by vets for sarcoid tumors in horses and I personally know many people who have used it with success, myself being one of them. Look up Xxterra online and read about it. I worked for the makers of that product and it is the highest concentration, most pure formula available. Bloodroot causes the body's immune system to recognize and reject abnormal cells. I've seen it work on lipomas, sarcoids, skin growths, moles, warts, etc."
05/16/2011: Vialisa from Asheville, Nc replies: "I'm looking for cures for Lipoma... I've used bloodroot salve several times.. One lipoma I have it isn't budging.. Others it has worked well on... Also anyone have info on natural cures for minere's disease."
07/13/2011: Rddriggers from Denison, Us replies: "I had a Lipo Tumor on back of my neck that got as big as a tennis ball after a car wreck seven years ago. I tried everything under the sun. Castor Oil, heat, cold, all kinds of vitamins peroxide, etc. You get the idea. I'm apposed to any surgery unless absolutely necessary. After it got about 3.5" in diameter, I had to have surgicaly removed, I am a male and I wore my hair long to hide it for awhile. You could eventually see it coming through when the wind would blow.
I tried it all, and nothing worked for nearly eight years. To save you alot of time, you might as well bite the bullet. I'm very happy that the ugly thing is gone and it cost $1500.00 in Texas at a Dermotologist Surgeon Hospital on an Out Patient basis. I fought very hard to not have it done that way, but I'm glad now.
I really wish I had better news or a better answer.
Good Luck"

02/03/2009: Theo from Ottawa, ON: "I have had lipoma (small fatty tissues under the skin) since my late teens. I am now 31. The lipoma are generally 0.5 to 1.0 centimeters in diameter. Over the years, however, more and more have been appearing, especially around my abdomen and inner thighs. About a year ago a couple even materialized on my face. I have been to several doctors and they all have said the same thing: "Some people just have them. They are benign tumors, so nothing to worry about." Well, to be honest, I am getting worried! It doesn't seem natural that these fatty deposits are building up all over my body, especially my face. What if my entire body becomes covered? Or worse, what if they get bigger? If anyone has cured this, I would love to hear about it!"
Replies02/05/2009: Ann from New York, NY replies: "I just found out what I thought to be a lipoma was actually a sebaceous cyst. I did some research about natural help for lipomas and came across Manjishtha. I didn't end up using it, but it was the most promising looking of what I found. Be sure to get the root/powdered that has been harvested within 1 year as I read that the efficacy goes down when it is older."
02/06/2009: Shalini from Mumbai, India replies: "My sister had the same thing and she got cured by homeopathy but she does not the medicine name. try homeopathy"
06/30/2009: Monsoon from Pune, India replies: "Hi Shalini,
Can you tell me the name of the doctor that she got treated from. My fiance is in a bad state and continuosly seeing doctors. Though they assure him its nothing serious, they are multiplying so rapidly, he cant help getting worried. Do let me know the doctor please.
Thankyou so much"
08/28/2009: Gean from Salina, Ks replies: "My sister, who is in her 30's, has had lipomas for years, and some have been surgically removed but they grow back. A couple of months ago she started drinking alkaline water (it's a set up you have to have installed on your faucet) and the lipomas are shrinking."
08/30/2009: Theo from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada replies: "Thank you very much for posting this! Can you tell me exactly what brand of faucet she installed?"
08/31/2009: Sangeetha from Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands replies: "For Lipomas, try mixing some turmeric powder with olive oil (or coconut oil) and apply on the affected areas. Drinking turmeric dissolved in warm water would also help."
[QUESTION] 07/31/2010: Luis from West Covina, Ca, U. S. replies: "Can you tell me what is the ratio of turmeric powder to water for drinking and turmeric powder to olive oil or (coconut oil) for application to area of cyst. I have had some surgically removed, but the scars are a little big so I want to try an alternative method for a cure. Thank You, Luis"
[YEA] 04/07/2011: Trey from Nj, Usa replies: "Re lipoma's, I had two on my back for two years. Two months ago one started getting large and full and a bit annoying. A doctor suggested that I get it surgically removed (for asthetic purposes). I then discussed it with the wonderful owner of my health food store who suggested turmeric as a possible remedy, so I bought a bottle. I dont know if he had expected me to take the turmeric internally, but all I did was prick one capsule with a pin and put a dab of the turmeric oil on each lipoma.Coincedently, however, I simultaneously started taking raw Apple Cider Vinegar the same day, and the following night I put a diluted dab of the ACV on my lipoma instead of the turmeric. Hense, I cant be sure which one 'did the trick', but to my surprise, within 2 days (when I reached back to 'scratch' my itchy lipoma) it opened up and emptied out quite a lot of a white substance! I then helped the process along that night by gently applying pressure w/ a tissue against it to empty it even more. They are both now flat and barely visable at all, so... Surgery was avoided! (Yay! =o) However, I can still feel an occasional 'tingle' or 'itch' from the area, so whatever caused the lipoma's in the first place may still be 'alive and well'. Perhaps I will put some more turmeric and/or ACV on the area again and see what happens. Anyway... Hope this helps others looking for non-surgical solutions?"
06/06/2011: Rose from Hannibal, New York replies: "To date all of my lipomas have been surgically removed. Now I'm going hemopathic and have found Cutting Gel... Which is a topical thremogenic used for disolving fat from the body. I've only been using it for a week now and the tumor in my left leg is about half the size it started out as. When it shrinks I will start using it on the one on my arm, which is about 4" long and 3" wide. They removed one from the same arm which was HUGE and I think they didn't get it all and it started growing again. Hope this works as I've got about 6 more to go."
07/01/2011: Rose from Hannibal, New York replies: "The Cutting Gel was working but very slowly. I've just started using Sweet Sweat, which is also an external thermogenic along with Lipo Trim and Cayenne Pepper pills. The tumor in my left arm is now about half of the starting size of 6" long and about 4" wide. I have no way of knowing how deep it is. I'm using it on a HUGE one in my side which started out about 8" around and is slowly shrinking. I know it's deep with many nodes in it as they are now surfacing."
01/02/2012: Lila from Trenton, Nj replies: "I've just discovered lumps on my thighs. I've been on a pretty rigid, heavy protein diet of late and have been working out heavily with weights and resistance training. Could this diet of mostly protein be contributing to the rapid increase of these lumps? Anyone else notice the possible correlation in their own diets?"
02/07/2012: Matt from Hki, Fi replies: "Ozone treatment is the only thing to date that has documented as a cure for a lipoma in addition to surgery. Do a Google searh about "EBOO Autohemotherapy" to find out more!"
02/12/2012: Deedee from Waterbury, Ct replies: "I had a large hard lipoma on back of my thigh the size of a lemon and started takeing a teaspoon of Flax borage fish oil every day and it started to shrink and was gone in 3 weeks. Wow that was awesome. I was told by my doctor that they don't go away but get worse. I cant wait to show her that it's gone. LOL"
02/21/2012: Apoorv from Bangalore, India replies: "Thanks a ton Sangeetha from Grand Cayman. Hopefully I read your blog and the suggestion to try turmeric with warm water. I am 23 years of age now, and had lipoma lumps only on my arms since I am 16. But recently it started growing in numbers, I have 16 lipoma lumps which are in 1-2 cm diameter over my hands, thigh and chest. After suggestion from Sangeetha, I started having turmeric with warm water before sleep. I won't lie its only 2 days, since I have started doing this, with exercise and yoga and I feel the lumps which were hard and big have shrunk to 1/3rd of there original size. I will keep following this routine and post more mails. Also, it is very important to avoid fatty foods, have curd and vegetables. I have done a lot of research on this disease and was getting frustated not to find any solution. I found out that lipoma happens cos body is not able to remove toxins, dead cells from the body, and takes it out in the form of lumps through the skin. So to see the results quickly, take fresh air, exercise and most importantly turmeric with warm water and milk.
Caution: Mix 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric in warm water or milk. This quantity is more than efficient."
